2 Korent 10
1 Men sa mwen menm Pòl, m’ap mande nou ak dousè ansanm ak bon kè ki soti nan Kris la. Gen moun ki pretann mwen fèmen lè m’ nan mitan nou, men lè m’ lwen nou mwen sevè.
2 Tanpri, pa fòse m’ moutre nou jan mwen ka sevè lè m’a rive lakay nou. Paske mwen sèten m’a ka moutre m’ sevè annegad moun ki konprann m’ap aji dapre bon konprann lèzòm.
3 M’ap viv koulye a nan yon kò tankou tout moun, se vre. Men, mwen p’ap goumen menm jan ak tout moun.
4 Zam m’ap sèvi nan batay m’ap mennen an, se pa menm ak zam moun k’ap viv dapre lide ki nan lemonn yo. Zam mwen se zanm ki gen pouvwa devan Bondye pou kraze tout gwo fò. M’ap kraze tout pawòl esplikasyon ki pa bon,
5 m’ap kraze tou sa lèzòm nan lògèy yo ap fè pou anpeche moun konnen Bondye. M’ap mare tout vye lide ki nan tèt lèzòm yo, m’ap fè yo vin obeyi Kris la.
6 Mwen pare pou m’ pini tout moun ki va dezobeyi. Men, anvan sa, se pou nou moutre m’ jan nou soti pou nou soumèt nou nèt.
7 Nou menm, moun Korent, n’ap gade sou laparans. Enben, si yon moun mete nan tèt li se moun Kris la li ye, se pou l’ mete sa nan tèt li tou, mwen menm tou mwen se moun Kris la mwen ye menm jan avè li.
8 Enpi, menm si m’ te fè grandizè yon ti jan twòp pou otorite Seyè a ban mwen an, mwen pa wont pou sa. Paske, otorite sa li ban mwen an, se pou m’ fè nou grandi nan konfyans nan li, se pa pou m’ kraze nou.
9 Mwen pa ta vle nou konprann m’ap chache kraponnen nou lè m’ap ekri nou konsa.
10 Gen moun ki di: Lè Pòl ap ekri nou, li rèd konsa, li sevè. Men, lè li la nan mitan nou li tou dou. Ata pale li pa ka pale.
11 Enben, moun ki di sa a, li mèt mete sa nan tèt li: Pa gen diferans ant sa m’ap ekri nan lèt mwen voye ban nou lè mwen pa la ak sa mwen pral fè lè m’a la nan mitan nou.
12 Konprann sa byen: mwen pa ka pèmèt mwen pou m’ mete m’ sou menm wotè ak moun ki kwè yo plis pase sa yo ye, ni mwen p’ap konpare tèt mwen ak yo non plis. Se yon bann san konprann! Y’ap mezire tèt yo ak mezi yo menm yo fè. Y’ap konpare tèt yo ak pwòp tèt pa yo ankò.
13 Men, pou mwen menm, mwen p’ap vantè tèt mwen depase limit. M’ap rete nan limit travay Bondye ban mwen an. Nou menm, moun Korent, nou nan limit travay mwen.
14 Se sak fè, mwen pa t’ depase limit mwen lè m’ te rive lakay nou ak bon nouvèl ki pale sou Kris la.
15 Konsa, nou wè, mwen pa depase limit Bondye ban mwen. Mwen p’ap fè grandizè pou travay lòt moun te deja fè. Okontrè, mwen gen espwa n’a grandi nan konfyans, pou m’ ka fè yon pi gwo travay ankò nan mitan nou, toujou nan limit Bondye ban mwen an.
16 Apre sa, m’a kapab al anonse bon nouvèl la nan peyi ki pi lwen pase lakay nou, san m’ p’ap bezwen fè grandizè pou travay lòt moun deja fè nan limit pa yo.
17 Paske, jan sa ekri nan Liv la: Si yon moun vle fè lwanj tèt li, se pou l’ fè lwanj tèt li nan sa Bondye fè pou li.
18 Se konsa wi: Se pa moun k’ap fè lwanj tèt yo ki bon pou travay la, men se moun Seyè a rekòmande ki bon pou travay la.

2 Corinthiens 10
1 Moi Paul, je vous prie, par la douceur et la bonté de Christ, -moi, humble d’apparence quand je suis au milieu de vous, et plein de hardiesse à votre égard quand je suis éloigné, –
2 je vous prie, lorsque je serai présent, de ne pas me forcer à recourir avec assurance à cette hardiesse, dont je me propose d’user contre quelques-uns qui nous regardent comme marchant selon la chair.
3 Si nous marchons dans la chair, nous ne combattons pas selon la chair.
4 Car les armes avec lesquelles nous combattons ne sont pas charnelles; mais elles sont puissantes, par la vertu de Dieu, pour renverser des forteresses.
5 Nous renversons les raisonnements et toute hauteur qui s’élève contre la connaissance de Dieu, et nous amenons toute pensée captive à l’obéissance de Christ.
6 Nous sommes prêts aussi à punir toute désobéissance, lorsque votre obéissance sera complète.
7 Vous regardez à l’apparence! Si quelqu’un se persuade qu’il est de Christ, qu’il se dise bien en lui-même que, comme il est de Christ, nous aussi nous sommes de Christ.
8 Et quand même je me glorifierais un peu trop de l’autorité que le Seigneur nous a donnée pour votre édification et non pour votre destruction, je ne saurais en avoir honte,
9 afin que je ne paraisse pas vouloir vous intimider par mes lettres.
10 Car, dit-on, ses lettres sont sévères et fortes; mais, présent en personne, il est faible, et sa parole est méprisable.
11 Que celui qui parle de la sorte considère que tels nous sommes en paroles dans nos lettres, étant absents, tels aussi nous sommes dans nos actes, étant présents.
12 Nous n’osons pas nous égaler ou nous comparer à quelques-uns de ceux qui se recommandent eux-mêmes. Mais, en se mesurant à leur propre mesure et en se comparant à eux-mêmes, ils manquent d’intelligence.
13 Pour nous, nous ne voulons pas nous glorifier hors de toute mesure; nous prendrons, au contraire, pour mesure les limites du partage que Dieu nous a assigné, de manière à nous faire venir aussi jusqu’à vous.
14 Nous ne dépassons point nos limites, comme si nous n’étions pas venus jusqu’à vous; car c’est bien jusqu’à vous que nous sommes arrivés avec l’Évangile de Christ.
15 Ce n’est pas hors de toute mesure, ce n’est pas des travaux d’autrui, que nous nous glorifions; mais c’est avec l’espérance, si votre foi augmente, de grandir encore d’avantage parmi vous, selon les limites qui nous sont assignées,
16 et d’annoncer l’Évangile au delà de chez vous, sans nous glorifier de ce qui a été fait dans les limites assignées à d’autres.
17 Que celui qui se glorifie se glorifie dans le Seigneur.
18 Car ce n’est pas celui qui se recommande lui-même qui est approuvé, c’est celui que le Seigneur recommande.

1 Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:
2 But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? if any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ’s, even so are we Christ’s.
8 For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:
9 That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.
10 For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.
11 Let such an one think this, that, such as we are in word by letters when we are absent, such will we be also in deed when we are present.
12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
13 But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you.
14 For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:
15 Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men’s labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,
16 To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man’s line of things made ready to our hand.
17 But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
18 For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
