Egzòd 3
1 Moyiz t’ap gade mouton ak kabrit Jetwo, bòpè li, ki te yon prèt nan peyi Madyan. Moyiz mennen bèt yo lòt bò dezè a. Li rive sou mòn Orèb, mòn Bondye a.
2 Zanj Seyè a parèt devan l’ sou fòm yon flanm dife nan mitan yon ti touf bwa. Moyiz gade, li wè touf bwa a te tou wouj ak dife, men li pa t’ap boule.
3 Lè sa a, Moyiz di nan kè l’: -Kite m’ pwoche pi pre pou m’ wè bagay dwòl sa a. Kouman touf bwa a fè pa boule?
4 Lè Seyè a wè Moyiz t’ap pwoche pou l’ gade, li rete nan mitan touf bwa a, li rele l’, li di: -Moyiz! Moyiz! Moyiz reponn: -Men mwen wi.
5 Bondye di: -Rete kote ou ye a. Pa pwoche. Wete sapat nan pye ou, paske kote ou kanpe a se yon tè ki apa pou mwen.
6 Bondye di ankò: -Se mwen menm, Bondye zansèt ou yo, Bondye Abraram lan, Bondye Izarak la ak Bondye Jakòb la. Moyiz bouche figi l’, paske li te pè gade Bondye.
7 Seyè a di: -Mwen wè tray pèp mwen an ap pase nan peyi Lejip. Mwen tande jan y’ap rele anba men moun k’ap peze yo. Wi, mwen konnen jan y’ap soufri.
8 Mwen desann pou m’ vin delivre yo anba men moun peyi Lejip yo, pou m’ fè yo soti nan peyi Lejip la, pou m’ mennen yo nan yon gwo peyi ki gen bon tè, yon peyi kote lèt ak siwo myèl koule tankou dlo. Se la moun Kanaran yo rete ansanm ak moun Et yo, moun Amori yo, moun Ferezi yo, moun Evi yo ak moun Jebis yo.
9 Bondye di ankò: -Koulye a menm, rèl pitit Izrayèl yo rive jouk nan zòrèy mwen. Mwen wè jan y’ap soufri anba moun peyi Lejip yo k’ap peze yo.
10 Koulye a, ale! Se mwen menm k’ap voye ou bò kote farawon an. Fè pèp mwen an soti nan peyi Lejip. Wi, fè pèp Izrayèl la soti kite peyi sa a.
11 Moyiz di Bondye: -Ki moun mwen ye menm pou m’ ta penmèt mwen ale bò kot farawon an pou m’ fè pèp Izrayèl la soti kite peyi Lejip?
12 Bondye di l’: -M’ap kanpe la avè ou. Lèfini, pou fè konnen se mwen menm ki voye ou, men sa w’a fè: lè w’a fin fè pèp la soti kite peyi Lejip, n’a sèvi m’ sou mòn sa a.
13 Moyiz di Bondye konsa: -Bon. Koulye a, mwen pral bò kote pèp Izrayèl la, mwen pral di yo: Bondye zansèt nou yo voye m’ kote nou. Ou mèt sèten yo pral mande m’: Ki jan li rele? Lè sa a, kisa pou m’ reponn yo?
14 Bondye di Moyiz: -Sa m’ ye a se sa m’ ye. Apre sa li di ankò: -W’a pale ak moun pèp Izrayèl yo, w’a di yo konsa: Mwen menm ki rele sa m’ ye a, se mwen menm ki voye ou bò kote yo.
15 Bondye di Moyiz ankò: -Men sa pou di moun pèp Izrayèl yo. Seyè a, Bondye zansèt nou yo, Bondye Abraram lan, Bondye Izarak la, Bondye Jakòb la, voye m’ bò kote nou. Wi, se konsa mwen rele. Se konsa y’ap toujou rele m’ sou latè de tit an tit.
16 Ale non. Reyini tout chèf fanmi pèp Izrayèl la, di yo: Seyè a, Bondye zansèt nou yo, Bondye Abraram lan, Bondye Izarak la, Bondye Jakòb la, te parèt devan mwen. Li mande m’ pou m’ di nou pou li: Mwen vin vizite nou, mwen wè sa moun peyi Lejip yo ap fè nou pase.
17 Se poutèt sa mwen di: M’ap fè nou soti kite peyi Lejip kote y’ap maltrete nou an. M’ap mennen nou nan peyi moun Kanaran yo, moun Et yo, moun Amori yo, moun Ferezi yo, moun Evi ak moun Jebis yo. Se yon peyi kote lèt ak siwo myèl koule tankou dlo.
18 Chèf fanmi yo va koute sa ou gen pou di yo. Apre sa, wava ale bò kote wa Lejip la ansanm ak chèf fanmi pèp Izrayèl yo, n’a di wa a: Seyè a, Bondye ebre yo, te parèt devan nou. Kite n al fe yon ti vwayaj nan dezè a. Lè n’a fin mache pandan twa jou, n’a rete pou n’ touye bèt n’ap ofri bay Seyè a, Bondye nou an.
19 Mwen konnen wa peyi Lejip la p’ap kite nou ale, si yo pa fòse l’.
20 Se poutèt sa, m’ap lonje men m’, m’ap frape peyi Lejip. M’ap fè tout kalite mirak nan peyi a. Apre sa, l’a kite nou ale.
21 m’a fè mèvèy jouk tan moun peyi Lejip yo va aji byen ak pèp mwen an. Konsa, lè n’a pare pou nou pati kite yo, nou p’ap soti san anyen nan men nou.
22 Chak fanm va mande vwazin li pou yo ba li rad ak bijou an ajan ak bijou an lò. L’a fè menm bagay la ak fanm pèyi Lejip ki rete lakay li yo. Lèfini, n’a mete yo sou pitit gason ak pitit fi nou yo. Konsa, n’a pran tou sa moun peyi Lejip yo genyen.
Exode 3
1 Moïse faisait paître le troupeau de Jéthro, son beau-père, sacrificateur de Madian; et il mena le troupeau derrière le désert, et vint à la montagne de Dieu, à Horeb.
2 L’ange de l’Éternel lui apparut dans une flamme de feu, au milieu d’un buisson. Moïse regarda; et voici, le buisson était tout en feu, et le buisson ne se consumait point.
3 Moïse dit: Je veux me détourner pour voir quelle est cette grande vision, et pourquoi le buisson ne se consume point.
4 L’Éternel vit qu’il se détournait pour voir; et Dieu l’appela du milieu du buisson, et dit: Moïse! Moïse! Et il répondit: Me voici!
5 Dieu dit: N’approche pas d’ici, ôte tes souliers de tes pieds, car le lieu sur lequel tu te tiens est une terre sainte.
6 Et il ajouta: Je suis le Dieu de ton père, le Dieu d’Abraham, le Dieu d’Isaac et le Dieu de Jacob. Moïse se cacha le visage, car il craignait de regarder Dieu.
7 L’Éternel dit: J’ai vu la souffrance de mon peuple qui est en Égypte, et j’ai entendu les cris que lui font pousser ses oppresseurs, car je connais ses douleurs.
8 Je suis descendu pour le délivrer de la main des Égyptiens, et pour le faire monter de ce pays dans un bon et vaste pays, dans un pays où coulent le lait et le miel, dans les lieux qu’habitent les Cananéens, les Héthiens, les Amoréens, les Phéréziens, les Héviens et les Jébusiens.
9 Voici, les cris d’Israël sont venus jusqu’à moi, et j’ai vu l’oppression que leur font souffrir les Égyptiens.
10 Maintenant, va, je t’enverrai auprès de Pharaon, et tu feras sortir d’Égypte mon peuple, les enfants d’Israël.
11 Moïse dit à Dieu: Qui suis-je, pour aller vers Pharaon, et pour faire sortir d’Égypte les enfants d’Israël?
12 Dieu dit: Je serai avec toi; et ceci sera pour toi le signe que c’est moi qui t’envoie: quand tu auras fait sortir d’Égypte le peuple, vous servirez Dieu sur cette montagne.
13 Moïse dit à Dieu: J’irai donc vers les enfants d’Israël, et je leur dirai: Le Dieu de vos pères m’envoie vers vous. Mais, s’ils me demandent quel est son nom, que leur répondrai-je?
14 Dieu dit à Moïse: Je suis celui qui suis. Et il ajouta: C’est ainsi que tu répondras aux enfants d’Israël: Celui qui s’appelle ‘je suis’m’a envoyé vers vous.
15 Dieu dit encore à Moïse: Tu parleras ainsi aux enfants d’Israël: L’Éternel, le Dieu de vos pères, le Dieu d’Abraham, le Dieu d’Isaac et le Dieu de Jacob, m’envoie vers vous. Voilà mon nom pour l’éternité, voilà mon nom de génération en génération.
16 Va, rassemble les anciens d’Israël, et dis-leur: L’Éternel, le Dieu de vos pères, m’est apparu, le Dieu d’Abraham, d’Isaac et de Jacob. Il a dit: Je vous ai vus, et j’ai vu ce qu’on vous fait en Égypte,
17 et j’ai dit: Je vous ferai monter de l’Égypte, où vous souffrez, dans le pays des Cananéens, des Héthiens, des Amoréens, des Phéréziens, des Héviens et des Jébusiens, dans un pays où coulent le lait et le miel.
18 Ils écouteront ta voix; et tu iras, toi et les anciens d’Israël, auprès du roi d’Égypte, et vous lui direz: L’Éternel, le Dieu des Hébreux, nous est apparu. Permets-nous de faire trois journées de marche dans le désert, pour offrir des sacrifices à l’Éternel, notre Dieu.
19 Je sais que le roi d’Égypte ne vous laissera point aller, si ce n’est par une main puissante.
20 J’étendrai ma main, et je frapperai l’Égypte par toutes sortes de prodiges que je ferai au milieu d’elle. Après quoi, il vous laissera aller.
21 Je ferai même trouver grâce à ce peuple aux yeux des Égyptiens, et quand vous partirez, vous ne partirez point à vide.
22 Chaque femme demandera à sa voisine et à celle qui demeure dans sa maison des vases d’argent, des vases d’or, et des vêtements, que vous mettrez sur vos fils et vos filles. Et vous dépouillerez les Égyptiens.
Exodus 3
1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.
2 And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
4 And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
7 And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?
12 And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.
13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.
15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
16 Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:
17 And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.
18 And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The Lord God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God.
19 And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.
20 And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.
21 And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty.
22 But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.
