1 Apre sa, Seyè a di Moyiz konsa: -Ale kote farawon an. W’a di l’: Men sa Seyè a di: Kite pèp mwen an ale pou l’ kapab fè sèvis pou mwen.
2 Koute byen. Si ou derefize kite yo ale, mwen pral lage krapo sou tout peyi a pou pini ou.
3 Gwo larivyè a pral plen krapo. Yo pral soti nan larivyè a, y’ap anvayi toupatou, y’ap antre lakay ou, anndan chanm ou, y’ap moute jouk nan kabann ou. Y’ap antre lakay moun pa ou yo, lakay tout pèp ou a, nan fou kote yo fè pen, nan ganmèl kote yo pare pat.
4 Y’ap vole sou ou, sou pèp ou a, sou tout moun pa ou yo.
5 Seyè a di Moyiz: -Di Arawon lonje men li avèk baton l’ lan sou larivyè yo, sou kannal yo ak sou m’a dlo yo. Fè krapo moute kouvri peyi Lejip la.
6 Arawon lonje men l’ sou tout dlo nan peyi Lejip la. Epi krapo moute kouvri tout peyi a.
7 Men majisyen peyi Lejip yo, avèk maji yo, te rive fè menm bagay la tou. Yo fè krapo moute vin sou peyi Lejip la.
8 Farawon an rele Moyiz ak Arawon, li di yo: -Lapriyè Seyè a, mande l’ pou l’ chase krapo sa yo soti sou mwen ak sou pèp mwen an. Apre sa, m’a kite pèp ou a ale pou yo ka touye bèt y’ap ofri bay Seyè a.
9 Lè sa a Moyiz di farawon an: -Se ou menm, farawon, ki konnen kilè ou vle pou m’ lapriyè Seyè a pou ou, pou moun pa ou yo ansanm ak pèp ou a. Wi, se ou ki pou di m’ kilè ou vle pou Seyè a wete krapo sa yo lakay ou ak nan kay pèp ou a, pou yo rete nan larivyè a ase.
10 Farawon an reponn: -W’a fè sa denmen. Moyiz di li: -Sa va pase jan ou di l’ la, pou ou sa konnen pa gen Bondye tankou Seyè a, Bondye nou an.
11 Krapo yo pral soti lakay ou, y’a wete kò yo sou ou, sou moun pa ou yo ak sou pèp ou a. Se nan gwo larivyè a ase va gen krapo.
12 Moyiz ak Arawon soti lakay farawon an. Moyiz lapriyè Seyè a ak tout kè l’ pou krapo li te voye sou farawon yo.
13 Seyè a fè sa Moyiz te mande l’ la: krapo yo mouri toupatou, nan kay, nan lakou, nan jaden.
14 Moun peyi Lejip yo ranmase yo fè gwo pil. Toupatou nan peyi a te santi move ak krapo mouri yo.
15 Lè farawon an wè yo te ba l’ yon souf, li konmanse fè tèt di ankò. Li pa koute Moyiz ak Arawon, tankou Seyè a te di a.
16 Seyè a di Moyiz konsa: -Di Arawon lonje baton l’ lan, frape pousyè tè a. Pousyè a va tounen vèmin nan tout peyi Lejip la.
17 Moyiz ak Arawon fè sa vre. Arawon lonje men li avèk baton an, li frape pousyè tè a. Pousyè a tounen vèmin sou tout moun ak sou tout bèt. Tout pousyè tè a tounen vèmin nan tout peyi Lejip la.
18 Majisyen yo vin ankò ak maji yo pou yo te fè menm bagay la tou. Men, fwa sa a, yo pa t’ kapab. vèmin yo te sou tout moun ak sou tout bèt.
19 Majisyen yo di farawon an: -Sa se travay Bondye. Men farawon an t’ap fè tèt di toujou. Li pa t’ vle koute Moyiz ak Arawon, tankou Seyè a te di a.
20 Seyè a di Moyiz ankò: -Leve granmaten, ale jwenn farawon an lè li pral larivyè a. W’a di l’: men sa Seyè a di: Kite pèp mwen an ale, pou yo ka fè sèvis pou mwen.
21 Si ou pa kite pèp mwen an ale, mwen pral voye mouchavè sou ou, sou moun pa ou yo, sou tout pèp ou a ak nan tout kay yo. Mouchavè pral plen kay moun peyi Lejip yo, yo pral kouvri tout peyi a.
22 Men jou sa a, m’a fè yon bagay pou peyi Gochenn kote pèp mwen an rete a. p’ap gen yon mouchavè la. Konsa, w’a konnen se mwen menm, Seyè a, k’ap travay nan peyi a.
23 m’a veye pou sa k’ap rive pèp ou a pa rive pèp mwen an. Se denmen mwen pral fè mèvèy sa a.
24 Seyè a fè sa vre jan l’ te di l’ la: yon kantite mouchavè desann sou kay farawon an, sou kay moun pa l’ yo ak sou tout peyi a. Mouchavè t’ap devaste tout peyi Lejip la.
25 Lè sa a, farawon an fè rele Moyiz ak Arawon, li di yo: -Nou mèt al ofri bèt pou touye pou Bondye nou an, men n’ap fè l’ isit la nan peyi a.
26 Moyiz reponn li: -Li p’ap bon pou nou fè l’ konsa, paske moun peyi Lejip yo ka ofiske lè y’a wè ki kalite bèt nou touye pou ofri bay Seyè a, Bondye nou an. Si nou ofri bagay sa yo devan moun peyi Lejip yo, y’a ka touye nou ak kout ròch.
27 Se pou nou mache twa jou nan dezè a. Se la n’a touye bèt n’ap ofri bay Seyè a, Bondye nou an, jan li te di nou an.
28 Farawon an di li: -Bon! M’ap kite nou al touye bèt n’ap ofri bay Seyè a, Bondye nou an, nan dezè a, men se pa pou nou al twò lwen. Lèfini, lapriyè pou mwen tou.
29 Moyiz di l’ konsa: -Kou m’ soti isit la, mwen pral lapriyè Seyè a. Denmen mouchavè yo ap soti sou ou ansanm ak sou moun pa ou yo ak sou tout pèp la. Yo pral byen lwen. Men, piga ou twonpe nou ankò. Pa refize kite pèp la al ofri bèt pou yo touye bay Seyè a.
30 Moyiz soti lakay farawon an, l’ al lapriyè Seyè a.
31 Seyè a fè sa Moyiz te mande l’ la. Li fè mouchavè yo soti sou farawon an, sou tout moun pa l’ yo ansanm ak sou tout pèp la. Li fè yo ale byen lwen. Pa yon mouchavè pa t’ rete.
32 Men, menm jou sa a, farawon an fè tèt di ankò, li pa t’ vle kite pèp la ale.
Exode 8
1 L’Éternel dit à Moïse: Va vers Pharaon, et tu lui diras: Ainsi parle l’Éternel: Laisse aller mon peuple, afin qu’il me serve.
2 Si tu refuses de le laisser aller, je vais frapper par des grenouilles toute l’étendue de ton pays.
3 Le fleuve fourmillera de grenouilles; elles monteront, et elles entreront dans ta maison, dans ta chambre à coucher et dans ton lit, dans la maison de tes serviteurs et dans celles de ton peuple, dans tes fours et dans tes pétrins.
4 Les grenouilles monteront sur toi, sur ton peuple, et sur tous tes serviteurs.
5 L’Éternel dit à Moïse: Dis à Aaron: Étends ta main avec ta verge sur les rivières, sur les ruisseaux et sur les étangs, et fais monter les grenouilles sur le pays d’Égypte.
6 Aaron étendit sa main sur les eaux de l’Égypte; et les grenouilles montèrent et couvrirent le pays d’Égypte.
7 (8:3) Mais les magiciens en firent autant par leurs enchantements. Ils firent monter les grenouilles sur le pays d’Égypte.
8 Pharaon appela Moïse et Aaron, et dit: Priez l’Éternel, afin qu’il éloigne les grenouilles de moi et de mon peuple; et je laisserai aller le peuple, pour qu’il offre des sacrifices à l’Éternel.
9 Moïse dit à Pharaon: Glorifie-toi sur moi! Pour quand prierai-je l’Éternel en ta faveur, en faveur de tes serviteurs et de ton peuple, afin qu’il retire les grenouilles loin de toi et de tes maisons? Il n’en restera que dans le fleuve.
10 Il répondit: Pour demain. Et Moïse dit: Il en sera ainsi, afin que tu saches que nul n’est semblable à l’Éternel, notre Dieu.
11 Les grenouilles s’éloigneront de toi et de tes maisons, de tes serviteurs et de ton peuple; il n’en restera que dans le fleuve.
12 Moïse et Aaron sortirent de chez Pharaon. Et Moïse cria à l’Éternel au sujet des grenouilles dont il avait frappé Pharaon.
13 L’Éternel fit ce que demandait Moïse; et les grenouilles périrent dans les maisons, dans les cours et dans les champs.
14 On les entassa par monceaux, et le pays fut infecté.
15 Pharaon, voyant qu’il y avait du relâche, endurcit son coeur, et il n’écouta point Moïse et Aaron, selon ce que l’Éternel avait dit.
16 L’Éternel dit à Moïse: Dis à Aaron: Étends ta verge, et frappe la poussière de la terre. Elle se changera en poux, dans tout le pays d’Égypte.
17 Ils firent ainsi. Aaron étendit sa main, avec sa verge, et il frappa la poussière de la terre; et elle fut changée en poux sur les hommes et sur les animaux. Toute la poussière de la terre fut changée en poux, dans tout le pays d’Égypte.
18 Les magiciens employèrent leurs enchantements pour produire les poux; mais ils ne purent pas. Les poux étaient sur les hommes et sur les animaux.
19 Et les magiciens dirent à Pharaon: C’est le doigt de Dieu! Le coeur de Pharaon s’endurcit, et il n’écouta point Moïse et Aaron, selon ce que l’Éternel avait dit.
20 (8:16) L’Éternel dit à Moïse: Lève-toi de bon matin, et présente-toi devant Pharaon; il sortira pour aller près de l’eau. Tu lui diras: Ainsi parle l’Éternel: Laisse aller mon peuple, afin qu’il me serve.
21 Si tu ne laisses pas aller mon peuple, je vais envoyer les mouches venimeuses contre toi, contre tes serviteurs, contre ton peuple et contre tes maisons; les maisons des Égyptiens seront remplies de mouches, et le sol en sera couvert.
22 Mais, en ce jour-là, je distinguerai le pays de Gosen où habite mon peuple, et là il n’y aura point de mouches, afin que tu saches que moi, l’Éternel, je suis au milieu de ce pays.
23 J’établirai une distinction entre mon peuple et ton peuple. Ce signe sera pour demain.
24 L’Éternel fit ainsi. Il vint une quantité de mouches venimeuses dans la maison de Pharaon et de ses serviteurs, et tout le pays d’Égypte fut dévasté par les mouches.
25 Pharaon appela Moïse et Aaron et dit: Allez, offrez des sacrifices à votre Dieu dans le pays.
26 Moïse répondit: Il n’est point convenable de faire ainsi; car nous offririons à l’Éternel, notre Dieu, des sacrifices qui sont en abomination aux Égyptiens. Et si nous offrons, sous leurs yeux, des sacrifices qui sont en abomination aux Égyptiens, ne nous lapideront-ils pas?
27 Nous ferons trois journées de marche dans le désert, et nous offrirons des sacrifices à l’Éternel, notre Dieu, selon ce qu’il nous dira.
28 Pharaon dit: Je vous laisserai aller, pour offrir à l’Éternel, votre Dieu, des sacrifices dans le désert: seulement, vous ne vous éloignerez pas, en y allant. Priez pour moi.
29 Moïse répondit: Je vais sortir de chez toi, et je prierai l’Éternel. Demain, les mouches s’éloigneront de Pharaon, de ses serviteurs et de son peuple. Mais, que Pharaon ne trompe plus, en refusant de laisser aller le peuple, pour offrir des sacrifices à l’Éternel.
30 Moïse sortit de chez Pharaon, et il pria l’Éternel.
31 L’Éternel fit ce que demandait Moïse; et les mouches s’éloignèrent de Pharaon, de ses serviteurs et de son peuple. Il n’en resta pas une.
32 Mais Pharaon, cette fois encore, endurcit son coeur, et il ne laissa point aller le peuple.
Exodus 8
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
2 And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:
3 And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:
4 And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.
5 And the Lord spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.
6 And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.
7 And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.
8 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the Lord, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the Lord.
9 And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only?
10 And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the Lord our God.
11 And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people; they shall remain in the river only.
12 And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the Lord because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.
13 And the Lord did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.
14 And they gathered them together upon heaps: and the land stank.
15 But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had said.
16 And the Lord said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.
17 And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.
18 And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast.
19 Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had said.
20 And the Lord said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
21 Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.
22 And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the Lord in the midst of the earth.
23 And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.
24 And the Lord did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants’ houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.
25 And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land.
26 And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the Lord our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?
27 We will go three days’ journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the Lord our God, as he shall command us.
28 And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice to the Lord your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away: intreat for me.
29 And Moses said, Behold, I go out from thee, and I will intreat the Lord that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, to morrow: but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the Lord.
30 And Moses went out from Pharaoh, and intreated the Lord.
31 And the Lord did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one.
32 And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go.
