1 Seyè a di ankò: -Lè sa a, m’ap Bondye tout branch fanmi pèp Izrayèl la. Yo tout y’ap vin pèp pa mwen.
2 Nan dezè a mwen te aji ak bon kè ak moun ki te chape anba lanmò nan lagè. Moun Izrayèl yo pral resi viv ak kè poze.
3 Byen lwen, Seyè a te fè m’ wè li. Li t’ap di: Nou menm moun pèp Izrayèl, mwen p’ap janm sispann renmen nou. Se poutèt sa m’ap toujou aji byen ak nou.
4 Bèl pèp Izrayèl mwen sa a, m’ap rebati peyi nou an. Peyi nou an va kanpe ankò. Nou pral dekwoke tanbouren nou yo ankò. Nou pral danse ak kè kontan.
5 Nou pral plante rezen sou tout mòn Samari yo. Moun ki va plante se yo ki va rekòlte.
6 Wi, lè sa a moun k’ap veye yo va rete sou mòn Efrayim yo, y’a rele byen fò: Annou wè! Ann moute mòn Siyon, bò kot Seyè a, Bondye nou an.
7 Seyè a di ankò: -Chante ak kè kontan pou pèp Izrayèl la! Pi gwo nasyon pase l’ nanpwen. Fè yo tande jan n’ap chante pou Bondye. Seyè a delivre pèp li a. Li delivre sa ki te rete nan pèp Izrayèl la.
8 Wi, se mwen menm, Seyè a, k’ap mennen yo sot nan nò. M’ap ranmase yo nan dènye bout latè. Sa ki avèg, sa k’ap bwete, fanm ki ansent, fanm ki gen tranche, yo tout ap vin ansanm. Se yon foul moun k’ap tounen.
9 Sou tout wout la y’ap lapriyè, y’ap kriye de ran dlo, antan m’ap mennen yo tounen. M’ap fè yo pran yon wout plat kote yo p’ap bite, jouk yo rive bò sous dlo yo. Mwen tankou yon papa pou pèp Izrayèl la. Efrayim se premye pitit gason m’.
10 Seyè a di ankò: -Nou menm lòt nasyon yo, koute sa m’ap di: Mache fè konnen l’ nan tout zile ki byen lwen yo. Di yo: Seyè a te gaye tout pèp Izrayèl la. Se li menm ki pral sanble yo ankò. Mwen pral okipe yo, tankou gadò k’ap okipe mouton l’.
11 Mwen libere moun fanmi Jakòb yo. Mwen delivre yo anba men yon nasyon ki te pi fò pase yo.
12 Y’ap vini sou mòn Siyon an, y’ap chante tèlman y’ap kontan. Y’a kontan anpil pou tou sa Seyè a pral ba yo. L’ap ba yo ble, diven, lwil fre, mouton, kabrit, bèf. Y’ap tankou yon jaden byen wouze. Y’ap gen tou sa yo bezwen.
13 Jennfi yo va danse tèlman y’a kontan. Jennjan ansanm ak granmoun gason yo va kontan tou. M’ap wete lapenn nan kè yo, m’ap fè yo kontan. M’ap fè yo pran kouraj. Nan mitan chagren yo, m’ap fè yo kontan.
14 M’ap fè prèt yo manje vyann gra kont kò yo. Pèp mwen an va jwenn tou sa yo bezwen nan tout bon bagay m’a ba yo. Se mwen menm Seyè a ki di sa.
15 Men sa Seyè a di ankò: -Yo tande yon sèl rèl nan Rama. Yo tande kriye ak gwo anmwe. Se Rachèl k’ap kriye pou pitit li yo. Li pa vle kite pesonn konsole l’ paske pitit li yo mouri.
16 Men sa Seyè a di ankò: -Sispann rèl ou yo, Rachèl. Siye dlo nan je ou. Sa ou te fè pou pitit ou yo p’ap pèdi. Y’ap tounen soti nan peyi lènmi yo.
17 Gen bèl espwa pou ou denmen. Pitit ou yo pral tounen nan peyi yo. Se mwen menm Seyè a ki di sa.
18 Mwen tande moun Izrayèl yo ap plenn. Y’ap di konsa: -Seyè, nou te tankou yon ti towo mawon. Men, ou donte nou, ou moutre nou jan pou nou obeyi ou. Fè nou tounen vin jwenn ou, paske ou se Seyè a, Bondye nou an.
19 Nou te vire do ba ou, men, koulye a nou vle tounen vin jwenn ou. Sa te fè nou lapenn, nou rekonèt sa nou te fè a mal. Nou te wont, nou te bese tèt nou atè, paske nou te peche nan tan jennès nou.
20 Izrayèl, nou se pitit gason mwen pi renmen an, pitit mwen pi pito a. Chak fwa non nou vin nan bouch mwen pou m’ pini nou, mwen chonje jan mwen renmen nou. Se poutèt sa mwen fèb pou nou, m’a gen pitye pou nou. Se mwen menm Seyè a ki di sa.
21 Mete mak sou tout wout la, plante jalon sou tout chemen an. Jwenn chemen ou te pran lè ou taprale a. Tounen non, nou menm moun pèp Izrayèl yo, tounen lakay nou nan lavil ki pou nou yo.
22 Kilè n’a sispann drive deyò, bann wòklò! Mwen fè yon bagay tou nèf nan peyi a: Koulye a se fanm k’ap liyen gason.
23 Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a, Bondye pèp Izrayèl la, di ankò: -Lè m’a fè pèp mwen an tounen lakay li, men sa yo pral mache di ankò nan tout peyi Jida ak nan tout lavil li yo: Se pou Seyè a beni mòn ki apa pou li a, mòn kote Bondye k’ap delivre a rete a.
24 Se sou mòn sa a moun peyi Jida yo ansanm ak moun tout lavil yo pral rete. Se la moun k’ap travay latè yo ansanm ak moun k’ap gade mouton yo pral rete tou.
25 Mwen pral bay tout moun ki bouke yo kouraj. Mwen pral plen vant tout moun k’ap mouri grangou yo.
26 Lè sa a, pèp la va di: M’ al dòmi. Lè m’ leve, mwen wè dòmi an te bon pou mwen.
27 Talè konsa mwen pral simen moun ak bèt nan tout peyi Izrayèl la ak nan tout peyi Jida a. Se mwen menm Seyè a ki di sa.
28 Menm jan mwen te pran san m’ pou m’ te derasinen yo, lage yo atè, demoli yo, detwi yo, fè malè sou yo, se konsa tou mwen pral pran san m’ pou m’ rebati yo, pou m’ replante yo. Se Seyè a menm ki di sa.
29 Lè sa a, pesonn p’ap di ankò: Papa ak manman te manje rezen vèt, se dan timoun yo ki gasi.
30 Moun ki manje rezen vèt la, se li menm ki va gen dan gasi. Chak moun va mouri pou sa li fè ki mal.
31 Seyè a di ankò: Lè a pral rive, mwen pral pase yon lòt kontra avèk moun peyi Izrayèl yo ansanm ak moun peyi Jida yo.
32 Se p’ap tankou kontra mwen te pase avèk zansèt yo a lè m’ te pran men yo pou m’ te fè yo soti kite peyi Lejip. Atout se mwen ki te mèt yo, yo pa t’ kenbe kontra mwen an. Se mwen menm Seyè a ki di sa!
33 Men kontra mwen pral pase ak pèp Izrayèl la. Se Seyè a menm ki di sa. Lè sa a, m’ap mete prensip mwen yo anndan kè yo, m’ap make lòd mwen yo nan lespri yo. M’a tounen Bondye pou yo, y’a tounen yon pèp pou mwen.
34 Pesonn p’ap bezwen moutre lòt moun nan peyi a kouman pou yo chache konnen Seyè a, paske yo tout ap konnen m’, depi sa ki pi piti a jouk sa ki pi gran an. Se mwen menm Seyè a ki di sa. M’a padonnen sa yo fè ki mal, mwen p’ap chonje peche yo ankò. Se mwen menm Seyè a ki di sa.
35 Seyè a mete solèy la pou l’ klere lajounen. Li bay lalin ak zetwal yo lòd pou yo klere lannwit. Li eksite lanmè a, li fè l’ move. Se li menm ki Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a: Se konsa yo rele l’.
36 Toutotan prensip sa yo va kenbe, se toutotan pèp Izrayèl la va yon nasyon devan mwen. Se mwen menm Seyè a ki di sa.
37 Si yon jou yo ka rive mezire wotè syèl la, si yo ka rive konnen fondasyon latè a, konsa tou, yon jou mwen ka rive voye tout pèp Izrayèl la jete poutèt tou sa yo fè ki mal. Se Seyè a menm ki di sa.
38 Men sa Seyè a di ankò: -Pa rete lontan ankò, yo pral rebati tout lavil Jerizalèm pou Seyè a, depi gwo fò Ananyèl la jouk Pòtay Kwen an.
39 Limit lavil la va konmanse la, l’a pran direksyon ti mòn Garèb la sou bò lwès, l’a vire bò Goa.
40 Y’a pran tout fon ki sèvi pou antere kadav ak pou boule fatra a, tout tè ki soti depi bò ravin Sedwon an rive nan kwen Pòtay Chwal yo sou bò lès, y’a mete yo apa pou mwen. Yo p’ap janm kraze, ni yo p’ap janm demoli yo ankò.

Jérémie 31
1 En ce temps-là, dit l’Éternel, Je serai le Dieu de toutes les familles d’Israël, Et ils seront mon peuple.
2 Ainsi parle l’Éternel: Il a trouvé grâce dans le désert, Le peuple de ceux qui ont échappé au glaive; Israël marche vers son lieu de repos.
3 De loin l’Éternel se montre à moi: Je t’aime d’un amour éternel; C’est pourquoi je te conserve ma bonté.
4 Je te rétablirai encore, et tu seras rétablie, Vierge d’Israël! Tu auras encore tes tambourins pour parure, Et tu sortiras au milieu des danses joyeuses.
5 Tu planteras encore des vignes sur les montagnes de Samarie; Les planteurs planteront, et cueilleront les fruits.
6 Car le jour vient où les gardes crieront sur la montagne d’Éphraïm:
7 Levez-vous, montons à Sion, vers l’Éternel, notre Dieu! Car ainsi parle l’Éternel: Poussez des cris de joie sur Jacob, Éclatez d’allégresse à la tête des nations! Élevez vos voix, chantez des louanges, et dites: Éternel, délivre ton peuple, le reste d’Israël!
8 Voici, je les ramène du pays du septentrion, Je les rassemble des extrémités de la terre; Parmi eux sont l’aveugle et le boiteux, La femme enceinte et celle en travail; C’est une grande multitude, qui revient ici.
9 Ils viennent en pleurant, et je les conduis au milieu de leurs supplications; Je les mène vers des torrents d’eau, Par un chemin uni où ils ne chancellent pas; Car je suis un père pour Israël, Et Éphraïm est mon premier-né.
10 Nations, écoutez la parole de l’Éternel, Et publiez-la dans les îles lointaines! Dites: Celui qui a dispersé Israël le rassemblera, Et il le gardera comme le berger garde son troupeau.
11 Car l’Éternel rachète Jacob, Il le délivre de la main d’un plus fort que lui.
12 Ils viendront, et pousseront des cris de joie sur les hauteurs de Sion; Ils accourront vers les biens de l’Éternel, Le blé, le moût, l’huile, Les brebis et les boeufs; Leur âne sera comme un jardin arrosé, Et ils ne seront plus dans la souffrance.
13 Alors les jeunes filles se réjouiront à la danse, Les jeunes hommes et les vieillards se réjouiront aussi; Je changerai leur deuil en allégresse, et je les consolerai; Je leur donnerai de la joie après leurs chagrins.
14 Je rassasierai de graisse l’âme des sacrificateurs, Et mon peuple se rassasiera de mes biens, dit l’Éternel.
15 Ainsi parle l’Éternel: On entend des cris à Rama, Des lamentations, des larmes amères; Rachel pleure ses enfants; Elle refuse d’être consolée sur ses enfants, Car ils ne sont plus.
16 Ainsi parle l’Éternel: Retiens tes pleurs, Retiens les larmes de tes yeux; Car il y aura un salaire pour tes oeuvres, dit l’Éternel; Ils reviendront du pays de l’ennemi.
17 Il y a de l’espérance pour ton avenir, dit l’Éternel; Tes enfants reviendront dans leur territoire.
18 J’entends Éphraïm qui se lamente: Tu m’as châtié, et j’ai été châtié Comme un veau qui n’est pas dompté; Fais-moi revenir, et je reviendrai, Car tu es l’Éternel, mon Dieu.
19 Après m’être détourné, j’éprouve du repentir; Et après avoir reconnu mes fautes, je frappe sur ma cuisse; Je suis honteux et confus, Car je porte l’opprobre de ma jeunesse. –
20 Éphraïm est-il donc pour moi un fils chéri, Un enfant qui fait mes délices? Car plus je parle de lui, plus encore son souvenir est en moi; Aussi mes entrailles sont émues en sa faveur: J’aurai pitié de lui, dit l’Éternel. –
21 Dresse des signes, place des poteaux, Prends garde à la route, au chemin que tu as suivi… Reviens, vierge d’Israël, Reviens dans ces villes qui sont à toi!
22 Jusques à quand seras-tu errante, Fille égarée? Car l’Éternel crée une chose nouvelle sur la terre: La femme recherchera l’homme.
23 Ainsi parle l’Éternel des armées, le Dieu d’Israël: Voici encore ce que l’on dira dans le pays de Juda et dans ses villes, Quand j’aurai ramené leurs captifs: Que l’Éternel te bénisse, demeure de la justice, Montagne sainte!
24 Là s’établiront Juda et toutes ses villes, Les laboureurs et ceux qui conduisent les troupeaux.
25 Car je rafraîchirai l’âme altérée, Et je rassasierai toute âme languissante.
26 Là-dessus je me suis réveillé, et j’ai regardé; Mon sommeil m’avait été agréable.
27 Voici, les jours viennent, dit l’Éternel, Où j’ensemencerai la maison d’Israël et la maison de Juda D’une semence d’hommes et d’une semence de bêtes.
28 Et comme j’ai veillé sur eux Pour arracher, abattre, détruire, ruiner et faire du mal, Ainsi je veillerai sur eux pour bâtir et pour planter, Dit l’Éternel.
29 En ces jours-là, on ne dira plus: Les pères ont mangé des raisins verts, Et les dents des enfants en ont été agacées.
30 Mais chacun mourra pour sa propre iniquité; Tout homme qui mangera des raisins verts, Ses dents en seront agacées.
31 Voici, les jours viennent, dit l’Éternel, Où je ferai avec la maison d’Israël et la maison de Juda Une alliance nouvelle,
32 Non comme l’alliance que je traitai avec leurs pères, Le jour où je les saisis par la main Pour les faire sortir du pays d’Égypte, Alliance qu’ils ont violée, Quoique je fusse leur maître, dit l’Éternel.
33 Mais voici l’alliance que je ferai avec la maison d’Israël, Après ces jours-là, dit l’Éternel: Je mettrai ma loi au dedans d’eux, Je l’écrirai dans leur coeur; Et je serai leur Dieu, Et ils seront mon peuple.
34 Celui-ci n’enseignera plus son prochain, Ni celui-là son frère, en disant: Connaissez l’Éternel! Car tous me connaîtront, Depuis le plus petit jusqu’au plus grand, dit l’Éternel; Car je pardonnerai leur iniquité, Et je ne me souviendrai plus de leur péché.
35 Ainsi parle l’Éternel, qui a fait le soleil pour éclairer le jour, Qui a destiné la lune et les étoiles à éclairer la nuit, Qui soulève la mer et fait mugir ses flots, Lui dont le nom est l’Éternel des armées:
36 Si ces lois viennent à cesser devant moi, dit l’Éternel, La race d’Israël aussi cessera pour toujours d’être une nation devant moi.
37 Ainsi parle l’Éternel: Si les cieux en haut peuvent être mesurés, Si les fondements de la terre en bas peuvent être sondés, Alors je rejetterai toute la race d’Israël, A cause de tout ce qu’ils ont fait, dit l’Éternel.
38 Voici, les jours viennent, dit l’Éternel, Où la ville sera rebâtie à l’honneur de l’Éternel, Depuis la tour de Hananeel jusqu’à la porte de l’angle.
39 Le cordeau s’étendra encore vis-à-vis, Jusqu’à la colline de Gareb, Et fera un circuit du côté de Goath.
40 Toute la vallée des cadavres et de la cendre, Et tous les champs jusqu’au torrent de Cédron, Jusqu’à l’angle de la porte des chevaux à l’orient, Seront consacrés à l’Éternel, Et ne seront plus à jamais ni renversés ni détruits.

Jeremiah 31
1 At the same time, saith the Lord, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
2 Thus saith the Lord, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
3 The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
4 Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.
5 Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the Lord our God.
7 For thus saith the Lord; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O Lord, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.
8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.
9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
10 Hear the word of the Lord, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
11 For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the Lord, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the Lord.
15 Thus saith the Lord; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
16 Thus saith the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
17 And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border.
18 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the Lord my God.
19 Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.
20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the Lord.
21 Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
22 How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the Lord hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
23 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The Lord bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.
24 And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.
25 For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
26 Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.
27 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.
28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the Lord.
29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.
30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
35 Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name:
36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
37 Thus saith the Lord; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the Lord.
38 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the city shall be built to the Lord from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
39 And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the Lord; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.
