2 Te gen kèk farizyen la ki di yo konsa: Poukisa n’ap fè bagay lalwa nou pa pèmèt moun fè gwo jou repo a?
3 Jezi pran lapawòl, li di farizyen yo konsa: Eske nou pa li sa David te fè li menm ak moun pa l’ yo, yon jou yo te grangou?
4 Li antre nan kay Bondye a, li pran pen yo te ofri bay Bondye a, li manje, li bay moun pa l’ yo manje tou. Men dapre lalwa nou an, se prèt yo sèlman ki gen dwa manje pen sa yo.
5 Apre sa li di yo: Mwen menm, Moun Bondye voye nan lachè a, mwen se mèt repo a.
6 Yon lòt jou repo, Jezi antre nan sinagòg la, li t’ap moutre moun yo anpil bagay. Te gen yon nonm nan lasanble a ki te gen men dwat li pòk.
7 Dirèktè lalwa yo ak farizyen yo t’ap veye Jezi konsa pou wè si l’ t’ap geri moun jou repo a, paske yo te vle jwenn yon kòz pou akize li.
8 Men, Jezi te konnen sak te dèyè tèt yo. Lè sa a, li di nonm ki te gen menm pòk la: Leve, vin kanpe la a nan mitan nou. Nonm lan leve kanpe.
9 Apre sa, Jezi di moun yo: M’ap mande nou kichòy: Kisa lalwa a pèmèt moun fè jou repo a? Byen oswa mal? Sove lavi yon moun osinon kite l’ mouri?
10 Apre sa, li pwonmennen je l’ sou yo tout, li di nonm lan: Lonje men ou. Nonm lan lonje men li. Latou, men an geri.
11 Men, lòt moun yo pa t’ manke ankòlè; yo t’ap diskite yonn ak lòt sou sa yo ta kapab fè Jezi.
12 Lè sa a, Jezi moute sou yon ti mòn pou l’ lapriyè. Li pase tout nwit lan ap lapriyè.
13 Lè l’ fè jou, li rele disip li yo, li chwazi douz nan yo, li rele yo apòt.
14 Se te Simon (Jezi te ba l’ yon ti non Pyè), ak Andre, frè l’, Jak ak Jan, Filip ak Batèlmi,
15 Matye ak Toma, Jak, pitit Alfè a, ak Simon (patriyòt la),
16 Jid, pitit Jak la, avèk Jida Iskariòt, nonm ki te trayi Jezi a.
17 Li desann ti mòn lan ak yo, li rete sou yon ti platon. Te gen anpil nan disip li yo ki te sanble la ak yon gwo mas pèp. Moun yo te soti toupatou; te gen moun Jide, moun lavil Jerizalèm, ak moun nan lavil Tir ak lavil Sidon ki bò lanmè a. Yo te vin tande l’, yo t’ap mande l’ geri malad yo tou.
18 Moun ki te gen move lespri ap toumante yo te geri tou.
19 Tout moun t’ap chache manyen l’, paske te gen yon fòs ki t’ap soti nan Jezi ki t’ap geri yo tout.
20 Lè sa a, Jezi gade disip li yo, li di yo: benediksyon pou nou menm ki pòv, paske Peyi kote Bondye Wa a, se pou nou li ye.
21 benediksyon pou nou menm ki grangou koulye a, paske n’a jwenn manje an kantite. benediksyon pou nou menm k’ap kriye koulye a, paske nou pral nan kè kontan.

23 Fè kè n’ kontan lè sa va rive; nou mèt kontan nèt paske yon gwo rekonpans ap tann nou nan syèl la. Se konsa zansèt nou yo te maltrete pwofèt yo.
24 Men, malè pou nou, nou menm moun rich yo, paske nou deja jwenn sa nou t’ap chache a.
25 Malè pou nou, nou menm ki gen tout bagay an kantite koulye a, paske nou pral grangou pou n’ mouri. Malè pou nou, nou menm k’ap ri koulye a, paske nou pral nan lapenn, se pa ti kriye n’a kriye.
26 Malè pou nou lè tout moun ap di nou se bon moun, paske se konsa zansèt nou yo te aji ak fo pwofèt yo.
27 Nou menm k’ap koute m’ la a, men sa m’ap di nou: renmen tout lènmi nou yo. Fè byen pou moun ki rayi nou.
28 Mande benediksyon pou moun k’ap ban nou madichon. Lapriyè pou moun k’ap maltrete nou.
29 Si yon moun ban nou yon souflèt sou yon bò figi, vire lòt bò a ba li. Si yon moun pran levit nou, kite l’ pran chemiz nou tou.
30 Nenpòt moun ki mande nou kichòy, ba li l’. Si yon moun pran sa ki pou nou, kite l’ pou li.
31 Tou sa nou va vle lòt moun fè pou nou, fè l’ pou yo tou.
32 Si nou plede renmen sèlman moun ki renmen nou, ki benediksyon pou n’ tann pou sa? Mechan yo tou yo renmen moun ki renmen yo.
33 Si nou fè byen sèlman pou moun ki fè nou byen, ki benediksyon pou nou tann pou sa? Mechan yo fè menm jan an tou.
34 Si se moun nou konnen k’ap renmèt nou nou prete sèlman, ki benediksyon pou nou tann pou sa? Mechan yo tou, yo prete mechan parèy yo ki kapab renmèt yo sa yo te prete yo a san mank.
35 Non, nou menm se pou nou renmen lènmi nou yo, fè byen pou yo. Prete san nou pa mete espwa nou sou renmèt. Se konsa n’a resevwa yon gwo rekonpans. Se lè sa a n’a pitit Bondye ki anwo nan syèl la, paske li menm, li bon ni pou engra ni pou mechan.
36 Se pou nou gen kè sansib menm jan Bondye, papa nou, gen kè sansib.
37 Pa jije moun, konsa Bondye p’ap jije nou. Pa kondannen moun, konsa Bondye p’ap kondannen nou. Padonnen yo, konsa Bondye va padonnen nou tou.
38 Bay, Bondye va ban nou. La lage yon bon mezi, byen souke, byen foule, ak tout tiyon l’, nan pòch rad nou. Mezi nou sèvi pou mezire lòt yo, se li menm Bondye va pran pou mezire nou tou.
39 Epi li di yo yon lòt parabòl: Eske yon avèg ka mennen yon lòt avèg? Eske tou de p’ap tonbe nan menm twou a?
40 Yon elèv pa pifò pase mèt li; men yon elèv ki fini nèt, l’ap fò tankou mèt li.
41 Poukisa w’ap gade ti pay ki nan je frè ou, epi ou pa wè gwo bout bwa a ki nan je pa ou la?
42 Ou menm ki pa wè gwo bout bwa ki nan je pa ou la, ki jan ou kapab di frè ou: Frè m’, kite m’ wete ti pay ki nan je ou la? Ipokrit! Wete gwo bout bwa ki nan je pa ou la anvan. Apre sa, wa wè klè pou ou wete pay ki nan je frè ou la.
43 Yon bon pyebwa pa bay move donn, ni yon move pyebwa pa bay bon donn.
44 Yo rekonèt kalite yon pyebwa sou donn li bay. Yo pa keyi fig frans sou pye rakèt, ni yo pa rekòlte rezen sou tout vye lyann.
45 Yon nonm ki bon, se bon bagay li rale soti nan kè li ki bon. Yon nonm ki mechan, se move bagay li rale soti nan kè li ki move. Paske, sak nan kè yon nonm, se sak soti nan bouch li.
46 Poukisa n’ap plede rele mwen: Mèt, Mèt, epi nou pa fè sa m’ di nou fè?
47 Moun ki vin jwenn mwen, ki tande pawòl mwen epi ki fè sa mwen di fè, men ki jan l’ap ye:
48 L’ap tankou yon nonm k’ap bati yon kay; li fouye tè a byen fon, li moute fondasyon kay la sou wòch. Dlo desann, lavalas frape kay la. Men, kay la pa brannen paske li te byen bati.
49 Men, moun ki tande pawòl mwen, ki pa fè sa mwen di fè, li tankou yon nonm ki bati yon kay ratè, san fondasyon. Lavalas frape kay la, yon sèl kou kay la tonbe, li kraze nèt.

Luc 6
1 Il arriva, un jour de sabbat appelé second-premier, que Jésus traversait des champs de blé. Ses disciples arrachaient des épis et les mangeaient, après les avoir froissés dans leurs mains.
2 Quelques pharisiens leur dirent: Pourquoi faites-vous ce qu’il n’est pas permis de faire pendant le sabbat?
3 Jésus leur répondit: N’avez-vous pas lu ce que fit David, lorsqu’il eut faim, lui et ceux qui étaient avec lui;
4 comment il entra dans la maison de Dieu, prit les pains de proposition, en mangea, et en donna à ceux qui étaient avec lui, bien qu’il ne soit permis qu’aux sacrificateurs de les manger?
5 Et il leur dit: Le Fils de l’homme est maître même du sabbat.
6 Il arriva, un autre jour de sabbat, que Jésus entra dans la synagogue, et qu’il enseignait. Il s’y trouvait un homme dont la main droite était sèche.
7 Les scribes et les pharisiens observaient Jésus, pour voir s’il ferait une guérison le jour du sabbat: c’était afin d’avoir sujet de l’accuser.
8 Mais il connaissait leurs pensées, et il dit à l’homme qui avait la main sèche: Lève-toi, et tiens-toi là au milieu. Il se leva, et se tint debout.
9 Et Jésus leur dit: Je vous demande s’il est permis, le jour du sabbat, de faire du bien ou de faire du mal, de sauver une personne ou de la tuer.
10 Alors, promenant ses regards sur eux tous, il dit à l’homme: Étends ta main. Il le fit, et sa main fut guérie.
11 Ils furent remplis de fureur, et ils se consultèrent pour savoir ce qu’ils feraient à Jésus.
12 En ce temps-là, Jésus se rendit sur la montagne pour prier, et il passa toute la nuit à prier Dieu.
13 Quand le jour parut, il appela ses disciples, et il en choisit douze, auxquels il donna le nom d’apôtres:
14 Simon, qu’il nomma Pierre; André, son frère; Jacques; Jean; Philippe; Barthélemy;
15 Matthieu; Thomas; Jacques, fils d’Alphée; Simon, appelé le zélote;
16 Jude, fils de Jacques; et Judas Iscariot, qui devint traître.
17 Il descendit avec eux, et s’arrêta sur un plateau, où se trouvaient une foule de ses disciples et une multitude de peuple de toute la Judée, de Jérusalem, et de la contrée maritime de Tyr et de Sidon. Ils étaient venus pour l’entendre, et pour être guéris de leurs maladies.
18 Ceux qui étaient tourmentés par des esprits impurs étaient guéris.
19 Et toute la foule cherchait à le toucher, parce qu’une force sortait de lui et les guérissait tous.
20 Alors Jésus, levant les yeux sur ses disciples, dit: Heureux vous qui êtes pauvres, car le royaume de Dieu est à vous!
21 Heureux vous qui avez faim maintenant, car vous serez rassasiés! Heureux vous qui pleurez maintenant, car vous serez dans la joie!
22 Heureux serez-vous, lorsque les hommes vous haïront, lorsqu’on vous chassera, vous outragera, et qu’on rejettera votre nom comme infâme, à cause du Fils de l’homme!
23 Réjouissez-vous en ce jour-là et tressaillez d’allégresse, parce que votre récompense sera grande dans le ciel; car c’est ainsi que leurs pères traitaient les prophètes.
24 Mais, malheur à vous, riches, car vous avez votre consolation!
25 Malheur à vous qui êtes rassasiés, car vous aurez faim! Malheur à vous qui riez maintenant, car vous serez dans le deuil et dans les larmes!
26 Malheur, lorsque tous les hommes diront du bien de vous, car c’est ainsi qu’agissaient leurs pères à l’égard des faux prophètes!
27 Mais je vous dis, à vous qui m’écoutez: Aimez vos ennemis, faites du bien à ceux qui vous haïssent,
28 bénissez ceux qui vous maudissent, priez pour ceux qui vous maltraitent.
29 Si quelqu’un te frappe sur une joue, présente-lui aussi l’autre. Si quelqu’un prend ton manteau, ne l’empêche pas de prendre encore ta tunique.
30 Donne à quiconque te demande, et ne réclame pas ton bien à celui qui s’en empare.
31 Ce que vous voulez que les hommes fassent pour vous, faites-le de même pour eux.
32 Si vous aimez ceux qui vous aiment, quel gré vous en saura-t-on? Les pécheurs aussi aiment ceux qui les aiment.
33 Si vous faites du bien à ceux qui vous font du bien, quel gré vous en saura-t-on? Les pécheurs aussi agissent de même.
34 Et si vous prêtez à ceux de qui vous espérez recevoir, quel gré vous en saura-t-on? Les pécheurs aussi prêtent aux pécheurs, afin de recevoir la pareille.
35 Mais aimez vos ennemis, faites du bien, et prêtez sans rien espérer. Et votre récompense sera grande, et vous serez fils du Très Haut, car il est bon pour les ingrats et pour les méchants.
36 Soyez donc miséricordieux, comme votre Père est miséricordieux.
37 Ne jugez point, et vous ne serez point jugés; ne condamnez point, et vous ne serez point condamnés; absolvez, et vous serez absous.
38 Donnez, et il vous sera donné: on versera dans votre sein une bonne mesure, serrée, secouée et qui déborde; car on vous mesurera avec la mesure dont vous vous serez servis.
39 Il leur dit aussi cette parabole: Un aveugle peut-il conduire un aveugle? Ne tomberont-ils pas tous deux dans une fosse?
40 Le disciple n’est pas plus que le maître; mais tout disciple accompli sera comme son maître.
41 Pourquoi vois-tu la paille qui est dans l’oeil de ton frère, et n’aperçois-tu pas la poutre qui est dans ton oeil?
42 Ou comment peux-tu dire à ton frère: Frère, laisse-moi ôter la paille qui est dans ton oeil, toi qui ne vois pas la poutre qui est dans le tien? Hypocrite, ôte premièrement la poutre de ton oeil, et alors tu verras comment ôter la paille qui est dans l’oeil de ton frère.
43 Ce n’est pas un bon arbre qui porte du mauvais fruit, ni un mauvais arbre qui porte du bon fruit.
44 Car chaque arbre se connaît à son fruit. On ne cueille pas des figues sur des épines, et l’on ne vendange pas des raisins sur des ronces.
45 L’homme bon tire de bonnes choses du bon trésor de son coeur, et le méchant tire de mauvaises choses de son mauvais trésor; car c’est de l’abondance du coeur que la bouche parle.
46 Pourquoi m’appelez-vous Seigneur, Seigneur! et ne faites-vous pas ce que je dis?
47 Je vous montrerai à qui est semblable tout homme qui vient à moi, entend mes paroles, et les met en pratique.
48 Il est semblable à un homme qui, bâtissant une maison, a creusé, creusé profondément, et a posé le fondement sur le roc. Une inondation est venue, et le torrent s’est jeté contre cette maison, sans pouvoir l’ébranler, parce qu’elle était bien bâtie.
49 Mais celui qui entend, et ne met pas en pratique, est semblable à un homme qui a bâti une maison sur la terre, sans fondement. Le torrent s’est jeté contre elle: aussitôt elle est tombée, et la ruine de cette maison a été grande.

1 And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.
2 And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?
3 And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;
4 How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?
5 And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
6 And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.
7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
8 But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.
9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
11 And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.
12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
13 And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;
14 Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,
15 Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes,
16 And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.
17 And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;
18 And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed.
19 And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.
20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
21 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.
23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.
25 Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.
26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.
30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye.
43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
