1 Koulye a, paske nou gen konfyans nan Bondye, Bondye fè nou gras, n’ap viv san kè sote ak Bondye, gremesi Jezikri, Seyè nou an.
2 Paske nou gen konfyans nan li, Jezi fè nou antre nan favè Bondye. Epi n’ap kenbe fèm kote nou kanpe a. Nou pa manke kontan paske nou gen espwa resevwa pa nou nan pouvwa Bondye a ansanm avèk li.
3 Nou pa manke kontan menm lè n’ap soufri.
4 Poukisa? Paske nou konnen lè n’ap soufri sa fè nou gen pasyans. Lè nou gen pasyans konsa, sa ban nou kouraj pou nou soufri. Plis nou gen kouraj, se plis nou gen espwa.
5 Espwa sa a p’ap janm twonpe nou, paske Bondye te fè nou wè jan l’ renmen nou lè li ban nou Sentespri li.
6 Se konsa, lè nou pa t’ kapab fè anyen pou tèt pa nou, Kris la mouri pou tout moun ki meprize Bondye, nan tan Bondye te fikse pou sa te rive a.
7 Se pa fasil pou ou jwenn yon moun asepte mouri pou yon nonm ki gen rezon. Ou ta ka jwenn yonn konsa ki ta gen kouraj mouri pou yon nonm debyen.
8 Sou pwen sa a, Bondye moutre nou jan li renmen nou anpil; paske nou t’ap fè peche toujou lè Kris la mouri pou nou.
9 Se paske li bay san li pou nou kifè koulye a Bondye fè nou gras. Nou pa bezwen mande si Kris la p’ap delivre nou tou anba kòlè Bondye.
10 Nou te lènmi ak Bondye lè Pitit Bondye a mouri pou l’ te fè nou byen ak Bondye ankò. Koulye a nou se zanmi Bondye, nou pa bezwen mande si lavi Pitit Bondye a p’ap delivre nou.
11 Epi se pa sa sèlman. Nou jwenn tout plezi nou nan Bondye, gremesi Jezikri, Seyè nou an, ki fè nou byen ak Bondye ankò depi koulye a.
12 Se poutèt yon sèl moun peche antre sou latè. Peche a louvri pòt pou lanmò. Se konsa lanmò vin pou tout moun, paske tout moun fè peche.
13 Peche te deja sou latè lontan anvan Lalwa Moyiz la. Men, paske pa t’ gen lalwa, Bondye te fèmen je l’ sou peche.
14 Men, soti nan tan Adan rive nan tan Moyiz, lanmò te donminen sou tout moun, malgre yo pa t’ fè peche tankou Adan ki te dezobeyi Bondye. Adan, se te pòtre moun ki te gen pou vini an.
15 Men, peche Adan an pa menm bagay ak kado Bondye bay pou gremesi a. Se fòt yon sèl moun ki lakòz yon bann lòt moun mouri. Men, favè Bondye a gen plis pouvwa toujou. Gremesi yon sèl moun, Jezikri, Bondye bay anpil moun yon kado ki pi gwo toujou.
16 Gen yon lòt diferans ankò ant kado Bondye a ak konsekans peche Adan an. Apre yon sèl moun te fin peche, lè yo jije moun, yo tout tonbe anba kondannasyon. Men, apre tout kantite peche moun fè, Bondye fè yo yon favè, li fè yo gras.
17 Se vre wi. Poutèt peche yon sèl moun, lanmò te donminen akòz li menm sèlman. Men, gremesi yon sèl moun tou, Jezikri, nou jwenn plis toujou: tout moun ki resevwa favè Bondye a an kantite, tout moun ki resevwa kado Bondye a lè li fè yo gras, yo gen pou yo viv, pou yo donminen akòz Kris la.
18 Se sak fè menm jan fòt yon sèl moun lakòz tout moun kondannen, konsa tou gremesi yon sèl moun ki mache dwat devan Bondye, tout moun delivre anba jijman kondannasyon, yo jwenn lavi.
19 Si dezobeyisans yon sèl moun lakòz yon foul moun fè peche, konsa tou obeyisans yon sèl moun lakòz Bondye va fè anpil moun gras.
20 Lalwa antre nan koze a pou fè moun peche plis toujou. Men, kote moun fè plis peche a, se la favè Bondye a vide pi rèd sou yo.
21 Se sak fè, menm jan peche a te bay lanmò lè l’ te donminen sou nou, konsa tou lè se favè Bondye a ki donminen sou nou, li fè moun gras, li ba yo lavi ki pa janm fini an, gremesi Jezikri, Seyè nou an.

Romains 5
1 Étant donc justifiés par la foi, nous avons la paix avec Dieu par notre Seigneur Jésus Christ,
2 à qui nous devons d’avoir eu par la foi accès à cette grâce, dans laquelle nous demeurons fermes, et nous nous glorifions dans l’espérance de la gloire de Dieu.
3 Bien plus, nous nous glorifions même des afflictions, sachant que l’affliction produit la persévérance,
4 la persévérance la victoire dans l’épreuve, et cette victoire l’espérance.
5 Or, l’espérance ne trompe point, parce que l’amour de Dieu est répandu dans nos coeurs par le Saint Esprit qui nous a été donné.
6 Car, lorsque nous étions encore sans force, Christ, au temps marqué, est mort pour des impies.
7 A peine mourrait-on pour un juste; quelqu’un peut-être mourrait-il pour un homme de bien.
8 Mais Dieu prouve son amour envers nous, en ce que, lorsque nous étions encore des pécheurs, Christ est mort pour nous.
9 A plus forte raison donc, maintenant que nous sommes justifiés par son sang, serons-nous sauvés par lui de la colère.
10 Car si, lorsque nous étions ennemis, nous avons été réconciliés avec Dieu par la mort de son Fils, à plus forte raison, étant réconciliés, serons-nous sauvés par sa vie.
11 Et non seulement cela, mais encore nous nous glorifions en Dieu par notre Seigneur Jésus Christ, par qui maintenant nous avons obtenu la réconciliation.
12 C’est pourquoi, comme par un seul homme le péché est entré dans le monde, et par le péché la mort, et qu’ainsi la mort s’est étendue sur tous les hommes, parce que tous ont péché,…
13 car jusqu’à la loi le péché était dans le monde. Or, le péché n’est pas imputé, quand il n’y a point de loi.
14 Cependant la mort a régné depuis Adam jusqu’à Moïse, même sur ceux qui n’avaient pas péché par une transgression semblable à celle d’Adam, lequel est la figure de celui qui devait venir.
15 Mais il n’en est pas du don gratuit comme de l’offense; car, si par l’offense d’un seul il en est beaucoup qui sont morts, à plus forte raison la grâce de Dieu et le don de la grâce venant d’un seul homme, Jésus Christ, ont-ils été abondamment répandus sur beaucoup.
16 Et il n’en est pas du don comme de ce qui est arrivé par un seul qui a péché; car c’est après une seule offense que le jugement est devenu condamnation, tandis que le don gratuit devient justification après plusieurs offenses.
17 Si par l’offense d’un seul la mort a régné par lui seul, à plus forte raison ceux qui reçoivent l’abondance de la grâce et du don de la justice régneront-ils dans la vie par Jésus Christ lui seul.
18 Ainsi donc, comme par une seule offense la condamnation a atteint tous les hommes, de même par un seul acte de justice la justification qui donne la vie s’étend à tous les hommes.
19 Car, comme par la désobéissance d’un seul homme beaucoup ont été rendus pécheurs, de même par l’obéissance d’un seul beaucoup seront rendus justes.
20 Or, la loi est intervenue pour que l’offense abondât, mais là où le péché a abondé, la grâce a surabondé,
21 afin que, comme le péché a régné par la mort, ainsi la grâce régnât par la justice pour la vie éternelle, par Jésus Christ notre Seigneur.

Romans 5
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
