1 Jeremi te nan prizon toujou nan lakou palè kote gad yo ye a lè Seyè a pale avè l’ ankò. Li di l’:
2 -Se mwen menm ki fè latè a, ki ba li fòm, ki kenbe l’ nan plas li. Se mwen menm yo rele Seyè a. Men sa mwen di:
3 Rele m’, m’a reponn ou. M’a fè ou konnen yon bann gwo bagay, yon bann mèvèy ou pa t’ janm konnen.
4 Wi, men sa mwen menm, Seyè a, Bondye pèp Izrayèl la, mwen di sou kay lavil Jerizalèm yo, sou kay wa peyi Jida yo, ki fin kraze paske moun Babilòn yo sènen lavil la, y’ap atake l’.
5 Gen moun ki soti pou kenbe tèt ak moun Babilòn yo. Moun sa yo lakòz kay yo pral plen kadav moun mwen pral touye tèlman mwen fache, tèlman mwen move. Mwen p’ap okipe lavil Jerizalèm ankò paske moun li yo fè twòp mechanste.
6 Men, mwen pral ba yo renmèd pou yo sa gaya. M’ap geri yo. M’ap fè yo konnen jan sa bon lè moun viv ak kè poze san ankenn danje.
7 M’ap fè peyi Izrayèl ak peyi Jida kanpe ankò. Zafè yo pral mache tankou nan tan lontan.
8 M’ap mete yo nan kondisyon pou yo sèvi m’, m’ap wete tout peche yo te fè kont mwen yo. M’ap padonnen tou sa yo te fè ki mal lè yo t’ap fè wòklò avè m’ lan.
9 Lè sa a, lavil Jerizalèm pral fè kè m’ kontan. Li pral sèvi yon lwanj pou mwen, yon bèl bagay devan tout lòt nasyon ki sou latè. Lè y’a konnen tout byen mwen pral fè pou moun Jerizalèm yo, lè y’a wè tout bèl bagay m’a fè pou yo, y’a tranble tèlman y’a pè, y’a sezi.
10 ¶ Seyè a di ankò: Y’ap di peyi a tounen yon dezè, pa gen moun, pa gen bèt ladan l’. Se vre wi. Lavil peyi Jida yo, tout lari lavil Jerizalèm blanch: ou pa jwenn ni moun, ni bèt ladan yo. Men nan peyi a y’a tande ankò
11 vwa moun k’ap pran plezi yo, moun ki gen kè kontan. Y’a tande mizik pou moun k’ap marye yo. Y’a tande moun k’ap chante lè y’ap pote ofrann pou di Bondye mèsi nan tanp Seyè a. Y’a di: Lwanj pou Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a paske li bon! Li p’ap janm sispann renmen nou! Wi, m’ap fè peyi a kanpe ankò jan l’ te ye anvan an. Se Seyè a ki di sa.
12 Men sa Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a di ankò: -Nan peyi sa a ki fini, peyi kote ou pa jwenn ni moun ni bèt la nan tout lavil yo, va gen kote pou gadò mouton yo mennen mouton yo al manje.
13 Nan lavil ki nan mòn yo, nan lavil ki nan plenn yo bò lanmè a ak nan sid peyi a, nan tout peyi Benjamen an, nan tout ti bouk nan vwazinaj Jerizalèm yo, nan tout lavil Jida yo, gadò mouton yo va fè mouton pase devan yo yonn apre lòt pou konte yo. Se Seyè a menm ki di sa.
14 Seyè a di ankò: Yon jou pral vini, mwen pral kenbe pwomès mwen te fè moun Izrayèl yo ansanm ak moun Jida yo.
15 Jou sa a, lè sa a, m’a fè yon nonm soti nan fanmi David la pou gouvènen yo. Se va yon wa ki va fè sa ki dwat, ki p’ap nan patipri.
16 Lè sa a, moun peyi Jida yo ak moun lavil Jerizalèm yo va sove, y’a viv san kè sote. Y’a rele lavil Jerizalèm Seyè a, Delivrans nou an.
17 ¶ Seyè a di ankò: Va toujou gen yon wa ki soti nan fanmi David la pou gouvènen peyi Izrayèl la.
18 Va toujou gen prèt nan fanmi Levi a pou sèvi m’ nan tanp lan, pou boule ofrann nan dife pou mwen, pou fè ofrann grenn jaden ak lòt ofrann bèt pou mwen chak jou.
19 Seyè a pale ak Jeremi ankò, li di l’:
20 -Mwen pase yon kontra ak lajounen, yon kontra ak lannwit pou yo toujou rive lè pou yo rive a. Eske nou ka kraze kontra sa yo? Non.
21 Enben, konsa tou, mwen siyen yon kontra ak David, sèvitè m’ lan, pou toujou gen yonn nan pitit li yo chita sou fotèy wa a nan peyi a. Mwen siyen yon kontra ak moun Levi yo ansanm ak prèt k’ap sèvi m’ yo. Kontra sa yo p’ap janm kase.
22 Mwen pral fè fanmi David, sèvitè m’ lan, peple. Mwen pral fè moun Levi k’ap sèvi m’ yo peple sitèlman yo p’ap ka konte kantite ki genyen. Y’ap tankou zetwal nan syèl la, tankou grenn sab bò lanmè.
23 Seyè a pale ak Jeremi ankò, li di l’:
24 -Ou tande jan moun yo ap di mwen voye moun Izrayèl yo ak moun Jida yo jete, de fanmi mwen menm mwen te chwazi pou mwen yo! Se konsa y’ap meprize pèp mwen an. Yo pa konsidere l’ tankou yon nasyon ankò.
25 Men sa mwen menm Seyè a, mwen di: Mwen fè yon kontra ak lajounen, mwen fè yon kontra ak lannwit. Mwen bay regleman jan pou tout bagay nan syèl la ak sou latè a mache.
26 Menm jan m’ap toujou kenbe kontra sa yo, konsa tou m’ap toujou kenbe pawòl mwen ak pitit Jakòb yo, mwen p’ap janm voye pitit pitit David, sèvitè m’ lan, jete. M’ap toujou chwazi yonn nan fanmi David la pou gouvènen moun ki soti nan ras Abraram, Izarak ak Jakòb yo. Wi, m’a gen pitye pou yo, m’a fè yo kanpe ankò.

Jérémie 33
1 La parole de l’Éternel fut adressée à Jérémie une seconde fois, en ces mots, pendant qu’il était encore enfermé dans la cour de la prison:
2 Ainsi parle l’Éternel, qui fait ces choses, L’Éternel, qui les conçoit et les exécute, Lui, dont le nom est l’Éternel:
3 Invoque-moi, et je te répondrai; Je t’annoncerai de grandes choses, des choses cachées, Que tu ne connais pas.
4 Car ainsi parle l’Éternel, le Dieu d’Israël, Sur les maisons de cette ville Et sur les maisons des rois de Juda, Qui seront abattues par les terrasses et par l’épée,
5 Quand on s’avancera pour combattre les Chaldéens, Et qu’elles seront remplies des cadavres des hommes Que je frapperai dans ma colère et dans ma fureur, Et à cause de la méchanceté desquels je cacherai ma face à cette ville;
6 Voici, je lui donnerai la guérison et la santé, je les guérirai, Et je leur ouvrirai une source abondante de paix et de fidélité.
7 Je ramènerai les captifs de Juda et les captifs d’Israël, Et je les rétablirai comme autrefois.
8 Je les purifierai de toutes les iniquités qu’ils ont commises contre moi, Je leur pardonnerai toutes les iniquités par lesquelles ils m’ont offensé, Par lesquelles ils se sont révoltés contre moi.
9 Cette ville sera pour moi un sujet de joie, de louange et de gloire, Parmi toutes les nations de la terre, Qui apprendront tout le bien que je leur ferai; Elles seront étonnées et émues de tout le bonheur Et de toute la postérité que je leur accorderai.
10 Ainsi parle l’Éternel: On entendra encore dans ce lieu Dont vous dites: Il est désert, il n’y a plus d’hommes, plus de bêtes; On entendra dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem, Dévastées, privées d’hommes, d’habitants, de bêtes,
11 Les cris de réjouissance et les cris d’allégresse, Les chants du fiancé et les chants de la fiancée, La voix de ceux qui disent: Louez l’Éternel des armées, Car l’Éternel est bon, car sa miséricorde dure à toujours! La voix de ceux qui offrent des sacrifices d’actions de grâces Dans la maison de l’Éternel. Car je ramènerai les captifs du pays, je les rétablirai comme autrefois, Dit l’Éternel.
12 Ainsi parle l’Éternel des armées: Il y aura encore dans ce lieu Qui est désert, sans hommes ni bêtes, Et dans toutes ses villes, Il y aura des demeures pour les bergers Faisant reposer leurs troupeaux.
13 Dans les villes de la montagne, dans les villes de la plaine, Dans les villes du midi, Dans le pays de Benjamin et aux environs de Jérusalem, Et dans les villes de Juda, Les brebis passeront encore sous la main de celui qui les compte, Dit l’Éternel.
14 Voici, les jours viennent, dit l’Éternel, Où j’accomplirai la bonne parole Que j’ai dite sur la maison d’Israël et sur la maison de Juda.
15 En ces jours et en ce temps-là, Je ferai éclore à David un germe de justice; Il pratiquera la justice et l’équité dans le pays.
16 En ces jours-là, Juda sera sauvé, Jérusalem aura la sécurité dans sa demeure; Et voici comment on l’appellera: L’Éternel notre justice.
17 Car ainsi parle l’Éternel: David ne manquera jamais d’un successeur Assis sur le trône de la maison d’Israël;
18 Les sacrificateurs, les Lévites, ne manqueront jamais devant moi de successeurs Pour offrir des holocaustes, brûler de l’encens avec les offrandes, Et faire des sacrifices tous les jours.
19 La parole de l’Éternel fut adressée à Jérémie, en ces mots:
20 Ainsi parle l’Éternel: Si vous pouvez rompre mon alliance avec le jour Et mon alliance avec la nuit, En sorte que le jour et la nuit ne soient plus en leur temps,
21 Alors aussi mon alliance sera rompue avec David, mon serviteur, En sorte qu’il n’aura point de fils régnant sur son trône, Et mon alliance avec les Lévites, les sacrificateurs, qui font mon service.
22 De même qu’on ne peut compter l’armée des cieux, Ni mesurer le sable de la mer, De même je multiplierai la postérité de David, mon serviteur, Et les Lévites qui font mon service.
23 La parole de l’Éternel fut adressée à Jérémie, en ces mots:
24 N’as-tu pas remarqué ce que disent ces gens: Les deux familles que l’Éternel avait choisies, il les a rejetées? Ainsi ils méprisent mon peuple, Au point de ne plus le regarder comme une nation.
25 Ainsi parle l’Éternel: Si je n’ai pas fait mon alliance avec le jour et avec la nuit, Si je n’ai pas établi les lois des cieux et de la terre,
26 Alors aussi je rejetterai la postérité de Jacob et de David, mon serviteur, Et je ne prendrai plus dans sa postérité ceux qui domineront Sur les descendants d’Abraham, d’Isaac et de Jacob. Car je ramènerai leurs captifs, et j’aurai pitié d’eux.

Jeremiah 33
1 Moreover the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
2 Thus saith the Lord the maker thereof, the Lord that formed it, to establish it; the Lord is his name;
3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
4 For thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;
5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.
10 Thus saith the Lord; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the Lord.
12 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.
13 In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the Lord.
14 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The Lord our righteousness.
17 For thus saith the Lord; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
18 Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
19 And the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah, saying,
20 Thus saith the Lord; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.
23 Moreover the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,
24 Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the Lord hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
25 Thus saith the Lord; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
26 Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
