Jeremi 28
1 Nan menm lanne a, nan katriyèm lanne rèy Sedesyas, wa peyi Jida a, nan senkyèm mwa a, pwofèt Ananya, pitit Azou, moun lavil Gabawon, vin pale avè m’ nan tanp Seyè a. Devan tout prèt yo ansanm ak pèp la, li di mwen:
2 -Men mesaj Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a, Bondye pèp Izrayèl la, bay: Mwen kraze pouvwa wa Babilòn lan.
3 Nan dezan, jou pou jou, m’ap pote tout bagay ki te nan tanp Seyè a tounen nan plas yo. Wi, tou sa wa Nèbikadneza te pran nan tanp lan pou l’ te pote ale lavil Babilòn, m’ap fè yo tounen nan plas yo.
4 M’ap fè Jekonya, pitit Jojakim, wa peyi Jida a, ansanm ak tout moun peyi Jida yo te depòte lavil Babilòn yo tounen isit. Se mwen menm Seyè a ki di sa. Wi, mwen pral kraze pouvwa wa Babilòn ki t’ap peze nou an.
5 Lè sa a, devan tout prèt yo ansanm ak foul moun ki te nan kay Seyè a, pwofèt Jeremi reponn pwofèt Ananya.
6 Li di konsa: -Dakò! Se pou Seyè a fè sa vre! Se pou li fè sa ou di a rive vre, pou l’ fè tout bagay ki te nan Tanp Seyè a ansanm ak moun yo te depòte yo tounen soti lavil Babilòn.
7 Tansèlman, koute byen sa m’ap di ou, ou menm ansanm ak pèp la:
8 Pwofèt ki te vini anvan m’ yo ak anvan ou tou te fè konnen lagè, grangou ak move maladi pral tonbe sou anpil gwo peyi, sou anpil gran wa ak tout pèp yo.
9 Men, lè yon pwofèt di tout bagay pral mache byen, se lè sa li di ki gen pou rive a rive vre y’a rekonèt se Seyè a ki te voye l’.
10 Lè sa a, pwofèt Ananya pran jouk bèf ki te sou zepòl Jeremi an, li kraze l’ an miyèt moso.
11 Apre sa, li pran pale ankò devan tout pèp la. Li di konsa: -Men mesaj Seyè a: Nan dezan, jou pou jou, se konsa mwen pral kraze pouvwa Nèbikadneza, wa Babilòn lan. Mwen pral kraze jouk bèf li te mete sou zepòl tout nasyon yo. Apre sa, pwofèt Jeremi al fè wout li.
12 Kèk tan apre pwofèt Ananya te kraze jouk bèf ki te sou zepòl pwofèt Jeremi an, Seyè a pale ak Jeremi, li di l’ konsa:
13 -Ale pale ak Ananya. W’a di l’ men sa Seyè a voye di ou: Ou te kraze yon jouk bèf fèt an bwa. Ou pral ranplase l’ ak yon jouk bèf fèt an fè.
14 Paske men sa Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a, Bondye pèp Izrayèl la di: M’ap mete yon jouk fè sou zepòl tout nasyon sa yo pou yo sèvi Nèbikadneza, wa Babilòn lan. Ata bèt nan bwa va soumèt devan l’.
15 Apre sa, pwofèt Jeremi di pwofèt Ananya konsa: -Koute byen, Ananya! Se pa Seyè a ki te voye ou di sa, tande. Ou twonpe konfyans pèp la.
16 Se sa ki fè men sa Seyè a di: Li pral disparèt ou sou latè. Anvan lanne an bout, w’ap mouri, paske ou pouse pèp la pou l’ te kenbe tèt ak Seyè a!
17 Menm lanne an vre, nan setyèm mwa a, pwofèt Ananya mouri.

1 Dans la même année, au commencement du règne de Sédécias, roi de Juda, le cinquième mois de la quatrième année, Hanania, fils d’Azzur, prophète, de Gabaon, me dit dans la maison de l’Éternel, en présence des sacrificateurs et de tout le peuple:
2 Ainsi parle l’Éternel des armées, le Dieu d’Israël: Je brise le joug du roi de Babylone!
3 Encore deux années, et je fais revenir dans ce lieu tous les ustensiles de la maison de l’Éternel, que Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, a enlevés de ce lieu, et qu’il a emportés à Babylone.
4 Et je ferai revenir dans ce lieu, dit l’Éternel, Jeconia, fils de Jojakim, roi de Juda, et tous les captifs de Juda, qui sont allés à Babylone; car je briserai le joug du roi de Babylone.
5 Jérémie, le prophète, répondit à Hanania, le prophète, en présence des sacrificateurs et de tout le peuple qui se tenaient dans la maison de l’Éternel.
6 Jérémie, le prophète, dit: Amen! que l’Éternel fasse ainsi! que l’Éternel accomplisse les paroles que tu as prophétisées, et qu’il fasse revenir de Babylone en ce lieu les ustensiles de la maison de l’Éternel et tous les captifs!
7 Seulement écoute cette parole que je prononce à tes oreilles et aux oreilles de tout le peuple:
8 Les prophètes qui ont paru avant moi et avant toi, dès les temps anciens, ont prophétisé contre des pays puissants et de grands royaumes la guerre, le malheur et la peste;
9 mais si un prophète prophétise la paix, c’est par l’accomplissement de ce qu’il prophétise qu’il sera reconnu comme véritablement envoyé par l’Éternel.
10 Alors Hanania, le prophète, enleva le joug de dessus le cou de Jérémie, le prophète, et il le brisa.
11 Et Hanania dit en présence de tout le peuple: Ainsi parle l’Éternel: C’est ainsi que, dans deux années, je briserai de dessus le cou de toutes les nations le joug de Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone. Et Jérémie, le prophète, s’en alla.
12 Après que Hanania, le prophète, eut brisé le joug de dessus le cou de Jérémie, le prophète, la parole de l’Éternel fut adressée à Jérémie, en ces mots:
13 Va, et dis à Hanania: Ainsi parle l’Éternel: Tu as brisé un joug de bois, et tu auras à sa place un joug de fer.
14 Car ainsi parle l’Éternel des armées, le Dieu d’Israël: Je mets un joug de fer sur le cou de toutes ces nations, pour qu’elles soient asservies à Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, et elles lui seront asservies; je lui donne aussi les animaux des champs.
15 Et Jérémie, le prophète, dit à Hanania, le prophète: Écoute, Hanania! L’Éternel ne t’a point envoyé, et tu inspires à ce peuple une fausse confiance.
16 C’est pourquoi ainsi parle l’Éternel: Voici, je te chasse de la terre; tu mourras cette année; car tes paroles sont une révolte contre l’Éternel.
17 Et Hanania, le prophète, mourut cette année-là, dans le septième mois.

Jeremiah 28
1 And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of the Lord, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
2 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
3 Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the Lord‘s house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon:
4 And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the Lord: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
5 Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the Lord,
6 Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the Lord do so: the Lord perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the Lord‘s house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.
7 Nevertheless hear thou now this word that I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people;
8 The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.
9 The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the Lord hath truly sent him.
10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck, and brake it.
11 And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
12 Then the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,
13 Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron.
14 For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.
15 Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The Lord hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the Lord.
17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
