3 Seyè a di Ezayi konsa: -Pran Chea-Jachoub, pitit gason ou lan, avè ou. Al kontre wa Akaz. W’a jwenn li sou wout ap moute bò kote yo konn lave twal ki fèk tenn yo, nan direksyon kannal ki bay dlo nan rezèvwa anwo lavil la.
4 W’a di l’ pou l’ fè atansyon pou l’ pa pèdi tèt li. Li pa bezwen pè. Li pa bezwen gen kè sote pou de ti bout bwa dife k’ap fè lafimen, ki vle di pou wa Rezen, moun peyi Siri a, ak pou wa Pekaz, pitit Remalya a, k’ap fè kòlè.

13 Lè sa a, Ezayi di konsa: -Koute non, moun fanmi David yo! Sa pa kont nou toujou? Jan nou fè moun bouke ak nou pou koulye a nou soti pou nou fè Bondye mwen an bouke ak nou tou?
14 Enben! Se Seyè a menm ki pral ban nou yon siy. Men li: Jenn tifi ki ansent lan pral fè yon pitit gason, l’a rele l’ Emannwèl (ki vle di: Bondye avèk nou).
15 Se lèt ak siwo myèl ase l’a manje jouk l’a rive laj pou l’ konnen sa ki mal ak sa ki byen.
16 Men, anvan menm ti gason an rive konnen sa ki byen ak sa ki mal, peyi de wa sa yo k’ap fè ou pè a ap rete konsa san pyès moun ladan yo.
17 Seyè a pral fè yon malè sou ou, sou pèp la ak sou tout fanmi David, granpapa ou la, yon malè ki pral pi mal pase lè moun Efrayim yo te separe ak moun Jida yo. L’ap fè wa peyi Lasiri a parèt sou nou.
18 Lè sa a, Seyè a pral soufle pou moun peyi Lejip yo soti tankou mouch byen lwen, bò dlo larivyè Nil la. L’ap rele moun peyi Lasiri yo pou yo soti tankou lesen myèl lakay yo.
19 Yo pral vin plen falèz yo ak tout twou wòch yo. Yo pral toupatou nan tout raje, nan tout jaden zèb.
20 Jou sa a, Seyè a ap fè wa peyi Lasiri a soti lòt bò larivyè Lefrat. Li va tankou yon razwa. L’ap vini, l’ap koupe tout bab ou, tout cheve nan tèt ou ak tout plim sou kò ou.
21 Jou sa a, chak moun va gen yon gazèl bèf ak de mouton pou yo chak.
22 Lè sa a, bèt yo va bay lèt an kantite, tout moun va bwè lèt plen vant yo. Wi, moun ki va chape anba lanmò nan peyi a va bwè lèt ak siwo myèl ase.
23 Jou sa a, kote ki te gen mil (1.000) pye rezen, epi ki te vo mil (1.000) pyès an ajan va plen pikan ak raje.
24 Si yon moun pa gen zam nan men l’, li p’ap ka pase la. Wi, pikan ak raje pral kouvri tout peyi a.
25 Nan tout mòn kote yo te konn travay ak wou pou plante, pesonn p’ap ka ale la ankò poutèt pikan ak raje. Se bèf y’a lage la, se la mouton yo pral manje.

Ésaïe 7
1 Il arriva, du temps d’Achaz, fils de Jotham, fils d’Ozias, roi de Juda, que Retsin, roi de Syrie, monta avec Pékach, fils de Remalia, roi d’Israël, contre Jérusalem, pour l’assiéger; mais il ne put l’assiéger.
2 On vint dire à la maison de David: Les Syriens sont campés en Éphraïm. Et le coeur d’Achaz et le coeur de son peuple furent agités, comme les arbres de la forêt sont agités par le vent.
3 Alors l’Éternel dit à Ésaïe: Va à la rencontre d’Achaz, toi et Schear Jaschub, ton fils, vers l’extrémité de l’aqueduc de l’étang supérieur, sur la route du champ du foulon.
4 Et dis-lui: Sois tranquille, ne crains rien, Et que ton coeur ne s’alarme pas, Devant ces deux bouts de tisons fumants, Devant la colère de Retsin et de la Syrie, et du fils de Remalia,
5 De ce que la Syrie médite du mal contre toi, De ce qu’Éphraïm et le fils de Remalia disent:
6 Montons contre Juda, assiégeons la ville, Et battons-la en brèche, Et proclamons-y pour roi le fils de Tabeel.
7 Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel: Cela n’arrivera pas, cela n’aura pas lieu.
8 Car Damas est la tête de la Syrie, Et Retsin est la tête de Damas. (Encore soixante-cinq ans, Éphraïm ne sera plus un peuple.)
9 La Samarie est la tête d’Éphraïm, Et le fils de Remalia est la tête de la Samarie. Si vous ne croyez pas, Vous ne subsisterez pas.
10 L’Éternel parla de nouveau à Achaz, et lui dit:
11 Demande en ta faveur un signe à l’Éternel, ton Dieu; demande-le, soit dans les lieux bas, soit dans les lieux élevés.
12 Achaz répondit: Je ne demanderai rien, je ne tenterai pas l’Éternel.
13 Ésaïe dit alors: Écoutez donc, maison de David! Est-ce trop peu pour vous de lasser la patience des hommes, Que vous lassiez encore celle de mon Dieu?
14 C’est pourquoi le Seigneur lui-même vous donnera un signe, Voici, la jeune fille deviendra enceinte, elle enfantera un fils, Et elle lui donnera le nom d’Emmanuel.
15 Il mangera de la crème et du miel, Jusqu’à ce qu’il sache rejeter le mal et choisir le bien.
16 Mais avant que l’enfant sache rejeter le mal et choisir le bien, Le pays dont tu crains les deux rois sera abandonné.
17 L’Éternel fera venir sur toi, Sur ton peuple et sur la maison de ton père, Des jours tels qu’il n’y en a point eu Depuis le jour où Éphraïm s’est séparé de Juda (Le roi d’Assyrie.)
18 En ce jour-là, l’Éternel sifflera les mouches Qui sont à l’extrémité des canaux de l’Égypte, Et les abeilles qui sont au pays d’Assyrie;
19 Elles viendront, et se poseront toutes dans les vallons désolés, Et dans les fentes des rochers, Sur tous les buissons, Et sur tous les pâturages.
20 En ce jour-là, le Seigneur rasera, avec un rasoir pris à louage Au delà du fleuve, Avec le roi d’Assyrie, La tête et le poil des pieds; Il enlèvera aussi la barbe.
21 En ce jour-là, Chacun entretiendra une jeune vache et deux brebis;
22 Et il y aura une telle abondance de lait Qu’on mangera de la crème, Car c’est de crème et de miel que se nourriront Tous ceux qui seront restés dans le pays.
23 En ce jour-là, Tout lieu qui contiendra mille ceps de vigne, Valant mille sicles d’argent, Sera livré aux ronces et aux épines:
24 On y entrera avec les flèches et avec l’arc, Car tout le pays ne sera que ronces et épines.
25 Et toutes les montagnes que l’on cultivait avec la bêche Ne seront plus fréquentées, par crainte des ronces et des épines: On y lâchera le boeuf, et la brebis en foulera le sol.

Isaiah 7
1 And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.
2 And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.
3 Then said the Lord unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field;
4 And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.
5 Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,
6 Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:
7 Thus saith the Lord God, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.
8 For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.
9 And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.
10 Moreover the Lord spake again unto Ahaz, saying,
11 Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.
12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord.
13 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.
17 The Lord shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father’s house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.
18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
19 And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.
20 In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep;
22 And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.
23 And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns.
24 With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns.
25 And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.
