Ezekyel 5
1 Seyè a di mwen: -Nonm o! Pran yon kouto byen file, tankou razwa kwafè, wete tout bab nan figi ou ak tout cheve nan tèt ou. Lèfini, pran yon balans pou peze cheve ou koupe yo, w’a fè yo fè twa pil menm fòs.
2 Lè y’a sispann sènen lavil la, w’a boule yon premye pil nan mitan lavil la. W’a pran yon dezyèm pil, w’a koupe l’ ti moso ti moso avèk nepe a pandan w’ap fè tou lavil la pa deyò. Dènye pil cheve a menm, w’a voye l’ anlè pou van pote yo ale. Mwen menm, m’a kouri dèyè yo ak nepe mwen.
3 W’a sere yon ponyen cheve, w’a koud li nan woulèt rad ou.
4 Lèfini, w’a pran de twa branch cheve nan sa ou te sere yo, w’a voye yo jete nan dife pou yo boule. Dife a ap gaye nan tout peyi Izrayèl la.
5 Men sa Seyè a, Bondye ki gen tout pouvwa, di ankò: -Gade lavil Jerizalèm! Mwen te mete l’ kanpe nan mitan latè ak tout lòt nasyon yo bò kote l’.
6 Men, Jerizalèm revòlte kont kòmandman ak lòd mwen yo. Li fè pi mal pase lòt nasyon ki bò kote l’ yo. Moun li yo derefize swiv prensip mwen te ba yo. Yo pa fè sa m’ te ba yo lòd fè a.
7 Se poutèt sa, nou menm moun lavil Jerizalèm, men sa Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a, di nou: Nou pa swiv lòd mwen yo, nou pa fè sa m’ te mande nou fè. Konsa, nou fè pi mal pase moun lòt nasyon ki bò kote nou yo. Nou pa menm swiv lòd moun lòt nasyon yo gen lakay yo.
8 Se poutèt sa, men sa Seyè a, Bondye nan syèl la, di ou: M’ap leve dèyè ou tou, mwen pral pini ou devan tout lòt nasyon yo.
9 N’ap fè yon bann bagay mwen pa vle wè menm. Se poutèt sa m’ap pini lavil Jerizalèm jan mwen poko janm pini l’, jan mwen p’ap janm pini l’ ankò.
10 Se poutèt sa, nan lavil Jerizalèm papa ak manman va manje pwòp pitit yo, pitit va manje papa ak manman yo. M’ap pini nou, m’ap gaye rès moun ki va rete yo toupatou.
11 Se poutèt sa, jan nou konnen mwen vivan vre a, se mwen menm Seyè, Sèl Mèt la, k’ap pale: Paske nou derespekte tanp mwen an ak tout vye bagay degoutan ansanm ak bann bagay mwen pa vle wè menm nou te fè ladan l’ yo, mwen fè sèman, mwen menm tou m’ap san pitye pou nou. M’ap voye nou jete, mwen p’ap kite nou yonn chape.
12 Pèp la ap fè twa pòsyon, yon pòsyon pral mouri anba maladi ak grangou nan lavil la, yon lòt pòsyon pral mouri nan lagè lòt bò miray ranpa lavil la. M’ap gaye rès la nan tout direksyon. Lèfini, m’ap kouri dèyè yo ak nepe.
13 M’a tire revanj mwen, m’ap krase yo dèske yo fè m’ fè kòlè, m’ap move sou yo jouk mwen pa kapab ankò. Lè sa a, y’a rekonèt se mwen menm Seyè a ki te pale konsa ak yo, paske yo te pouse m’ fè jalouzi, mwen te fache sou yo jouk mwen pa kapab ankò.
14 M’ap fè nou tounen yon dezè nan mitan tout lòt peyi yo, yon wont pou moun k’ap pase bò kote nou ye a.
15 Lè m’a fè kòlè a, lè m’a move anpil sou nou an, lè m’a pini nou rèd mare jan mwen te vle l’ la, m’ap avili nou, m’ap fè nou tounen yon wont. N’a sèvi yon avètisman pou tout nasyon ki bò kote nou yo, y’a soti pè lè y’a wè sa ki rive nou. Se mwen menm Seyè a ki di sa.
16 M’ap koupe viv nou, m’ap kite nou mouri grangou. Nou pral santi doulè grangou a tankou si se flèch yo voye sou nou pou touye nou.
17 M’ap voye grangou ak bèt nan bwa k’ap touye tout pitit nou yo. Move maladi pral tonbe sou nou, y’ap mete san nou deyò. M’ap voye lènmi vin fè nou lagè. Se mwen menm Seyè a ki pale.

1 Et toi, fils de l’homme, prends un instrument tranchant, un rasoir de barbier; prends-le, et passe-le sur ta tête et sur ta barbe. Prends ensuite une balance à peser, et partage les cheveux.
2 Brûles-en un tiers dans le feu, au milieu de la ville, lorsque les jours du siège seront accomplis; prends-en un tiers, et frappe-le avec le rasoir tout autour de la ville; disperse-en un tiers au vent, et je tirerai l’épée derrière eux.
3 Tu en prendras une petite quantité, que tu serreras dans les bords de ton vêtement.
4 Et de ceux-là tu en prendras encore quelques-uns, que tu jetteras au feu et que tu brûleras dans le feu. De là sortira un feu contre toute la maison d’Israël.
5 Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel: C’est là cette Jérusalem que j’avais placée au milieu des nations et des pays d’alentour.
6 Elle a violé mes lois et mes ordonnances, et s’est rendue plus coupable que les nations et les pays d’alentour; car elle a méprisé mes lois, elle n’a pas suivi mes ordonnances.
7 C’est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel: Parce que vous avez été plus rebelles que les nations qui vous entourent, parce que vous n’avez pas suivi mes ordonnances et pratiqué mes lois, et que vous n’avez pas agi selon les lois des nations qui vous entourent; –
8 à cause de cela, ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel: Voici, j’en veux à toi, et j’exécuterai au milieu de toi mes jugements sous les yeux des nations.
9 A cause de toutes tes abominations, je te ferai ce que je n’ai point encore fait, ce que je ne ferai jamais.
10 C’est pourquoi des pères mangeront leurs enfants au milieu de toi, et des enfants mangeront leurs pères; j’exercerai mes jugements contre toi, et je disperserai à tous les vents tout ce qui restera de toi.
11 C’est pourquoi, je suis vivant! dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel, parce que tu as souillé mon sanctuaire par toutes tes idoles et toutes tes abominations, moi aussi je retirerai mon oeil, et mon oeil sera sans pitié, moi aussi je n’aurai point de miséricorde.
12 Un tiers de tes habitants mourra de la peste et sera consumé par la famine au milieu de toi; un tiers tombera par l’épée autour de toi; et j’en disperserai un tiers à tous les vents, et je tirerai l’épée derrière eux.
13 J’assouvirai ainsi ma colère, je ferai reposer ma fureur sur eux, je me donnerai satisfaction; et ils sauront que moi, l’Éternel, j’ai parlé dans ma colère, en répandant sur eux ma fureur.
14 Je ferai de toi un désert, un sujet d’opprobre parmi les nations qui t’entourent, aux yeux de tous les passants.
15 Tu seras un sujet d’opprobre et de honte, un exemple et un objet d’effroi pour les nations qui t’entourent, quand j’exécuterai contre toi mes jugements, avec colère, avec fureur, et par des châtiments rigoureux, -c’est moi, l’Éternel, qui parle, –
16 quand je lancerai sur eux les flèches pernicieuses de la famine, qui donnent la mort, et que j’enverrai pour vous détruire; car j’ajouterai la famine à vos maux, je briserai pour vous le bâton du pain.
17 J’enverrai contre vous la famine et les bêtes féroces, qui te priveront d’enfants; la peste et le sang passeront au milieu de toi; je ferai venir l’épée sur toi. C’est moi, l’Éternel, qui parle.

1 And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber’s razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair.
2 Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.
3 Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts.
4 Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.
5 Thus saith the Lord God; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.
6 And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;
8 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.
10 Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds.
11 Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord God; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
12 A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.
13 Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the Lord have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.
14 Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.
15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the Lord have spoken it.
16 When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:
17 So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee: and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the Lord have spoken it.
