Sòm 70
1 Pou chèf sanba yo. Se yon sòm David. Pou Bondye pa bliye nou. Delivre m’ non, Bondye! Prese vin pote m’ sekou, Seyè!
2 Moun k’ap chache touye m’ yo, se pou yo wont, se pou yo pa ka leve tèt yo. Moun ki anvi wè malè rive mwen, se pou yo renka kò yo, se pou yo wont.
3 Moun k’ap lonje dwèt sou mwen yo, se pou sezisman pran yo sitèlman yo wont.
4 Men, tout moun ki vin jwenn ou, se pou yo kontan, se pou yo fè fèt. Tout moun ki renmen jan ou delivre yo a, se tout tan pou yo di: Bondye gen gwo pouvwa!
5 Pou mwen menm, se yon pòv malere san sekou mwen ye. Men ou menm, prese vin delivre m’! Se ou ki tout sekou mwen, se ou ki tout delivrans mwen. Prese non, Seyè!

1 Au chef des chantres. De David. Pour souvenir. O Dieu, hâte-toi de me délivrer! Éternel, hâte-toi de me secourir!
2 Qu’ils soient honteux et confus, ceux qui en veulent à ma vie! Qu’ils reculent et rougissent, ceux qui désirent ma perte!
3 Qu’ils retournent en arrière par l’effet de leur honte, Ceux qui disent: Ah! ah!
4 Que tous ceux qui te cherchent Soient dans l’allégresse et se réjouissent en toi! Que ceux qui aiment ton salut Disent sans cesse: Exalté soit Dieu!
5 Moi, je suis pauvre et indigent: O Dieu, hâte-toi en ma faveur! Tu es mon aide et mon libérateur: Éternel, ne tarde pas!

Psalm 70
1 Make haste, o God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O Lord.
2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
3 Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
5 But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O Lord, make no tarrying.
