Deteronòm 12
1 Men lòd ak kòmandman pou nou swiv pandan tout tan nou gen pou nou viv nan peyi Seyè a, Bondye zansèt nou yo, ban nou pou nou rete a.
2 Nan peyi nou pral pran pou nou an, se pou nou kraze tout kote moun yo te konn sèvi bondye yo sou gwo mòn wo yo, sou ti bit mòn yo, anba pyebwa vèt yo.
3 Se pou nou demoli tout lòtèl yo, se pou nou gaye tout pil wòch zidòl yo. Se pou nou rache tout poto Achera yo. Se pou nou boule tout zidòl yo pou moun pa janm chonje yo te konn fè sèvis pou bondye sa yo la ankò.
4 Nou pa fèt pou nou sèvi Seyè a, Bondye nou an, jan moun sa yo te konn sèvi bondye yo.
5 Se Bondye menm ki pral chwazi yon kote pou l’ rete nan mitan pèp la, kote pou yo fè sèvis pou li. Se la n’a vin jwenn Seyè a, Bondye nou an.
6 Se la n’a pote ofrann pou boule nèt nan dife pou Seyè a ak lòt bèt n’ap ofri ba li, ladim nou yo ak kado nou yo, ofrann nou te pwomèt bay Bondye, ofrann nou leve konsa nou vle fè pou Bondye, premye pitit bèf nou yo, premye pitit kabrit nou yo ak premye pitit mouton nou yo.
7 Se la, devan Seyè a, Bondye nou an, n’a fè fèt, n’a manje ansanm ak tout moun nan fanmi nou yo. Se la n’a fè kè nou kontan chak lè Seyè a va beni nou pou li te fè nou fè bèl rekòt.
8 Lè sa a, nou p’ap gen dwa fè sa n’ap fè koulye a kote chak moun ap fè sa yo pi pito,
9 paske nou poko antre nan peyi Seyè a, Bondye sou an, ap ban nou pou nou rete ak kè poze.
10 Men, yon fwa n’a janbe lòt bò larivyè Jouden an pou n’ al rete nan peyi Seyè a, Bondye nou an, ap ban nou an, l’a pwoteje nou nan mitan tout lènmi k’ap viv nan peyi ki sou fwontyè nou yo, n’a rete nan peyi a ak kè poze.
11 Wi, Seyè a, Bondye nou an, va chwazi yon sèl kote pou yo fè sèvis pou li. Se la n’a pote tout ofrann mwen mande nou yo ba li: ofrann bèt pou nou boule nèt nan dife pou Seyè a, lòt bèt n’ap ofri ba li, ladim nou yo, lòt ofrann yo ak tout lòt bèl kado nou te pwomèt pou n’ te bay Seyè a.
12 Lè sa a, n’a fè fèt devan Seyè a, Bondye nou an, ansanm avèk pitit gason nou yo, pitit fi nou yo, gason ak fanm k’ap travay lakay nou yo ak moun Levi k’ap viv nan mitan nou yo, paske moun Levi yo pa gen ankenn pòsyon tè ki rele yo pa yo menm jan ak nou nan peyi a.
13 Piga nou ofri bèt nou yo pou mwen nenpòt kote nou wè yo te mete apa pou lòt bondye yo.
14 Seyè a pral chwazi yon kote nan pòsyon tè yonn nan branch fanmi nou yo. Se la sèlman n’a ka ofri bèt pou nou boule nèt pou Seyè a, se la n’a fè tou sa li mande pou nou fè a.
15 Men, nou lib pou nou touye bèt chak fwa nou vle manje vyann nenpòt kote nou ye, dapre kantite Seyè a va ban nou. Tout moun, kit sa ki nan kondisyon, kit sa ki pa nan kondisyon pou fè sèvis pou Bondye, va gen dwa manje vyann sa yo, tankou yo ta manje vyann gazèl ak vyann towo bèf.
16 Men, piga nou janm manje san yo. Se pou nou vide tout san an atè tankou dlo.
17 Nan tout lavil kote nou rete, nou p’ap gen dwa manje ladim ble, ladim diven osinon ladim lwil nou gen pou n’ ofri bay Seyè a. Piga nou janm manje anyen nan sa n’ap ofri bay Seyè a: ki vle di premye pitit bèf nou yo, premye pitit kabrit osinon mouton nou yo, ou ankò kado nou ta pwomèt Seyè a pou nou ba li, kado nou leve konsa nou vle fè Seyè a, ni ankenn lòt ofrann nou pote bay Seyè a.
18 Men, se kote Seyè a, Bondye nou an, te chwazi a, se la sèlman n’a manje ofrann yo devan Seyè a, Bondye nou an, ansanm ak pitit gason nou, pitit fi nou, gason ak fanm k’ap travay lakay nou ak moun Levi ki rete nan mitan nou yo. Se la n’a pran nan ofrann nou te pote yo, n’a fè fèt devan Seyè a, Bondye nou an.
19 Toutotan n’ap viv nan peyi a, piga nou janm bliye moun Levi yo.
20 Lè Seyè a, Bondye nou an, va mete sou tè nou deja genyen an jan li te pwomèt nou sa a, depi nou vle manje vyann, nou mèt manje vyann lè nou vle, kantite nou vle.
21 Lè kote Seyè a chwazi pou yo fè sèvis pou li a twò lwen pou nou ale, n’a gen dwa touye bèf, kabrit ak mouton Seyè a va ban nou, jan mwen te di nou pou nou fè l’ la. N’a gen dwa manje vyann lakay nou lè nou vle, kantite nou vle.
22 Tout moun, kit yo nan kondisyon kit yo pa nan kondisyon pou fè sèvis pou Bondye, tout moun va gen dwa manje nan vyann sa a, tankou yo gen dwa manje vyann gazèl ak vyann towo bèf.
23 Tansèlman, piga nou janm manje san an, paske san an se nanm bèt la li ye. Piga nou janm manje vyann lan ansanm ak nanm lan ladan l’.
24 Piga nou janm manje san an. N’a vide l’ atè tankou dlo.
25 Si nou pa manje san an, tout bagay va mache byen pou nou ak pou tout ras nou apre nou, paske n’a fè sa ki fè Seyè a plezi.
26 Men, n’a pran tout ofrann nou yo ak tout kado nou te pwomèt bay Seyè a, n’a pote yo kote Seyè a te chwazi a.
27 Se la n’a ofri bèt pou boule nèt pou Seyè a sou lòtèl Seyè a. Se la n’a vide san lòt bèt n’ap ofri sou lòtèl Seyè a, epi se la n’a manje vyann lan tou.
28 Se pou nou swiv pwen pa pwen tou sa m’ap mande nou fè a, se pou nou kenbe tout lòd mwen ban nou pou tout bagay toujou mache byen pou nou ak pou tout ras nou apre nou, paske n’ap fè tou sa ki byen, tou sa ki dwat devan Seyè a, Bondye nou an.
29 Lè Seyè a, Bondye nou an, va fin disparèt nasyon yo sou chemen nou pou nou ka anvayi peyi yo a, lè n’a fin pran peyi a nan men yo pou nou ka rete nou menm ladan l’,
30 atansyon pou nou pa kite yo pran tèt nou pou nou fè menm jan ak yo. Apre Seyè a va fin kraze nasyon sa yo devan nou, pa konprann pou n’ al swiv move egzanp yo. Pa chache konnen ki bondye yo t’ap sèvi, ni ki jan yo t’ap sèvi yo, lèfini pou nou fè tankou yo.
31 Se pa konsa pou n’ aji ak Seyè a, Bondye nou an. Paske, Seyè a pa ka sipòte tout vye sèvis y’ap fè pou bondye sa yo. Yo menm rive pran pwòp pitit gason ak pitit fi yo pou yo boule nan dife pou bondye yo!
32 Se pou nou toujou fè tou sa mwen mande nou fè la a, san nou pa ni mete ni wete anyen ladan yo.

Deuteronome 12
1 Voici les lois et les ordonnances que vous observerez et que vous mettrez en pratique, aussi longtemps que vous y vivrez, dans le pays dont l’Éternel, le Dieu de vos pères, vous donne la possession.
2 Vous détruirez tous les lieux où les nations que vous allez chasser servent leurs dieux, sur les hautes montagnes, sur les collines, et sous tout arbre vert.
3 Vous renverserez leurs autels, vous briserez leurs statues, vous brûlerez au feu leurs idoles, vous abattrez les images taillées de leurs dieux, et vous ferez disparaître leurs noms de ces lieux-là.
4 Vous n’agirez pas ainsi à l’égard de l’Éternel, votre Dieu.
5 Mais vous le chercherez à sa demeure, et vous irez au lieu que l’Éternel, votre Dieu, choisira parmi toutes vos tribus pour y placer son nom.
6 C’est là que vous présenterez vos holocaustes, vos sacrifices, vos dîmes, vos prémices, vos offrandes en accomplissement d’un voeu, vos offrandes volontaires, et les premiers-nés de votre gros et de votre menu bétail.
7 C’est là que vous mangerez devant l’Éternel, votre Dieu, et que, vous et vos familles, vous ferez servir à votre joie tous les biens par lesquels l’Éternel, votre Dieu, vous aura bénis.
8 Vous n’agirez donc pas comme nous le faisons maintenant ici, où chacun fait ce qui lui semble bon,
9 parce que vous n’êtes point encore arrivés dans le lieu de repos et dans l’héritage que l’Éternel, votre Dieu, vous donne.
10 Mais vous passerez le Jourdain, et vous habiterez dans le pays dont l’Éternel, votre Dieu, vous mettra en possession; il vous donnera du repos, après vous avoir délivrés de tous vos ennemis qui vous entourent, et vous vous établirez en sécurité.
11 Alors il y aura un lieu que l’Éternel, votre Dieu, choisira pour y faire résider son nom. C’est là que vous présenterez tout ce que je vous ordonne, vos holocaustes, vos sacrifices, vos dîmes, vos prémices, et les offrandes choisies que vous ferez à l’Éternel pour accomplir vos voeux.
12 C’est là que vous vous réjouirez devant l’Éternel, votre Dieu, vous, vos fils et vos filles, vos serviteurs et vos servantes, et le Lévite qui sera dans vos portes; car il n’a ni part ni héritage avec vous.
13 Garde-toi d’offrir tes holocaustes dans tous les lieux que tu verras;
14 mais tu offriras tes holocaustes au lieu que l’Éternel choisira dans l’une de tes tribus, et c’est là que tu feras tout ce que je t’ordonne.
15 Néanmoins, quand tu en auras le désir, tu pourras tuer du bétail et manger de la viande dans toutes tes portes, selon les bénédictions que t’accordera l’Éternel, ton Dieu; celui qui sera impur et celui qui sera pur pourront en manger, comme on mange de la gazelle et du cerf.
16 Seulement, vous ne mangerez pas le sang: tu le répandras sur la terre comme de l’eau.
17 Tu ne pourras pas manger dans tes portes la dîme de ton blé, de ton moût et de ton huile, ni les premiers-nés de ton gros et de ton menu bétail, ni aucune de tes offrandes en accomplissement d’un voeu, ni tes offrandes volontaires, ni tes prémices.
18 Mais c’est devant l’Éternel, ton Dieu, que tu les mangeras, dans le lieu que l’Éternel, ton Dieu, choisira, toi, ton fils et ta fille, ton serviteur et ta servante, et le Lévite qui sera dans tes portes; et c’est devant l’Éternel, ton Dieu, que tu feras servir à ta joie tous les biens que tu posséderas.
19 Aussi longtemps que tu vivras dans ton pays, garde-toi de délaisser le Lévite.
20 Lorsque l’Éternel, ton Dieu, aura élargi tes frontières, comme il te l’a promis, et que le désir de manger de la viande te fera dire: Je voudrais manger de la viande! tu pourras en manger, selon ton désir.
21 Si le lieu que l’Éternel, ton Dieu, aura choisi pour y placer son nom est éloigné de toi, tu pourras tuer du gros et du menu bétail, comme je te l’ai prescrit, et tu pourras en manger dans tes portes selon ton désir.
22 Tu en mangeras comme on mange de la gazelle et du cerf; celui qui sera impur, et celui qui sera pur en mangeront l’un et l’autre.
23 Seulement, garde-toi de manger le sang, car le sang, c’est l’âme; et tu ne mangeras pas l’âme avec la chair.
24 Tu ne le mangeras pas: tu le répandras sur la terre comme de l’eau.
25 Tu ne le mangeras pas, afin que tu sois heureux, toi et tes enfants après toi, en faisant ce qui est droit aux yeux de l’Éternel.
26 Mais les choses que tu voudras consacrer et les offrandes que tu feras en accomplissement d’un voeu, tu iras les présenter au lieu qu’aura choisi l’Éternel.
27 Tu offriras tes holocaustes, la chair et le sang, sur l’autel de l’Éternel, ton Dieu; dans tes autres sacrifices, le sang sera répandu sur l’autel de l’Éternel, ton Dieu, et tu mangeras la chair.
28 Garde et écoute toutes ces choses que je t’ordonne, afin que tu sois heureux, toi et tes enfants après toi, à perpétuité, en faisant ce qui est bien et ce qui est droit aux yeux de l’Éternel, ton Dieu.
29 Lorsque l’Éternel, ton Dieu, aura exterminé les nations que tu vas chasser devant toi, lorsque tu les auras chassées et que tu te seras établi dans leur pays,
30 garde-toi de te laisser prendre au piège en les imitant, après qu’elles auront été détruites devant toi. Garde-toi de t’informer de leurs dieux et de dire: Comment ces nations servaient-elles leurs dieux? Moi aussi, je veux faire de même.
31 Tu n’agiras pas ainsi à l’égard de l’Éternel, ton Dieu; car elles servaient leurs dieux en faisant toutes les abominations qui sont odieuses à l’Éternel, et même elles brûlaient au feu leurs fils et leurs filles en l’honneur de leurs dieux.
32 Vous observerez et vous mettrez en pratique toutes les choses que je vous ordonne; vous n’y ajouterez rien, et vous n’en retrancherez rien.

Deuteronomy 12
1 These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the Lord God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.
2 Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:
3 And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.
4 Ye shall not do so unto the Lord your God.
5 But unto the place which the Lord your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:
6 And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:
7 And there ye shall eat before the Lord your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the Lord thy God hath blessed thee.
8 Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
9 For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the Lord your God giveth you.
10 But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the Lord your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;
11 Then there shall be a place which the Lord your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the Lord:
12 And ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.
13 Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:
14 But in the place which the Lord shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.
15 Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.
16 Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.
17 Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:
18 But thou must eat them before the Lord thy God in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the Lord thy God in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.
19 Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.
20 When the Lord thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
21 If the place which the Lord thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the Lord hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
22 Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.
23 Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.
24 Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water.
25 Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the Lord.
26 Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the Lord shall choose:
27 And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the Lord thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the Lord thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh.
28 Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the Lord thy God.
29 When the Lord thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;
30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
31 Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
