Ézayi 48
1 Koute pawòl sa yo byen, nou menm fanmi Jakòb yo. Nou menm ki pote non Izrayèl, zansèt nou an, nou menm ki soti nan ras Jida a, nou pran non Seyè a pou fè sèman. N’ap fè sèvis pou Bondye pèp Izrayèl la. Men, se pawòl nan bouch. Nou pa viv jan Bondye vle l’ la.
2 Nou cho konsa pou nou di se moun lavil Jerizalèm, lavil Bondye a, nou ye. Se sou Bondye pèp Izrayèl la n’ap mete tout espwa nou, li menm yo rele Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a.
3 Depi lontan mwen te fè nou konnen davans sa ki tapral rive. Mwen te pale pou tout moun tande. Mwen rete konsa, mwen fè sa m’ gen pou m’ fè a, epi yo rive vre.
4 Mwen te konnen jan nou wòklò. Tèt nou di pase fè, di pase wòch
5 Se poutèt sa mwen te fè nou konnen davans sa ki tapral rive nou. Wi, mwen te avèti nou anvan yo te rive, pou nou pa t’ di se zidòl nou yo ki te fè sa pou nou, se estati an fè nou yo ak pòtre zidòl nou yo ki te fè sa pase konsa.
6 Se pou nou rekonèt tou sa mwen te di nou yo rive vre. Enben, mwen pral fè ou konnen lòt bagay ankò ki gen pou rive, bagay mwen te kenbe pou mwen, bagay ou pa ka konnen menm.
7 Se bagay m’ap fè koulye a menm. Mwen pa janm ko fè sa. Se bagay nou pa t’ janm konnen jouk jounen jòdi a. Konsa nou pa ka di nou te konn sa deja!
8 Nou pa t’ janm konn bagay konsa, nou pa t’ janm tande sa. Mwen pa t’ kase bwa nan zòrèy nou sou sa, paske mwen konnen jan nou trèt. Yo pa ka fè nou konfyans. Depi nou fèt yo konnen nou pou moun tèt di.
9 Se poutèt non mwen pote a kifè mwen kenbe kòlè m’. Se paske mwen vle pou moun fè lwanj mwen kifè mwen pa koute kòlè m’ pou m’ kraze nou!
10 Tankou lajan yo fonn nan fòj pou wè si li bon, mwen te fè nou pase tray pou m’ wè kote nou ye.
11 Se poutèt mwen, poutèt mwen menm ase, mwen fè sa m’ fè a. Eske m’ ka kite yo derespekte non mwen? Mwen p’ap kite yon lòt resevwa lwanj ki pou mwen an!
12 Nou menm fanmi Jakòb yo, Nou menm pèp Izrayèl mwen te chwazi a, koute m’ byen. Se mwen menm ki te la anvan tout bagay, Se mwen menm k’ap la apre tout bagay kaba. Mwen p’ap janm chanje.
13 Se mwen menm ak men mwen ki fè latè. Se ak fòs ponyèt mwen mwen louvri syèl la. Lè m’ rele yo, yo tout kouri vin nan pye m’.
14 Nou tout, sanble non pou nou koute m’! Kilès nan zidòl nou yo ki te fè konnen depi davans tout bagay sa yo? Moun mwen renmen an pral fè travay mwen vle l’ fè a kont lavil Babilòn, kont ras moun Kalde yo.
15 Se mwen menm ki te pale, se mwen menm ki te rele l’. Se mwen menm ki fè l’ vini. M’ap fè l’ reyisi nan travay l’ap fè a.
16 Pwoche kote m’ non, koute sa m’ap di: Depi nan konmansman mwen pa kache nou anyen. Depi lè bagay la t’ap rive, mwen te la. Koulye a, Seyè a ban mwen lespri l’, li voye m’!
17 Bondye pèp Izrayèl la ki yon Bondye apa, Seyè k’ap delivre yo a, men sa li di: -Se mwen menm ki Seyè a, Bondye nou an. Se mwen menm k’ap moutre nou sa ki pou byen nou. Se mwen menm k’ap mennen nou nan chemen pou nou swiv la.
18 Si sèlman nou te swiv lòd mwen te ban nou yo, benediksyon ta vide sou nou tankou lapli k’ap tonbe. Tankou lanmè ki pa janm sispann voye lanm, m’ pa ta janm sispann kanpe pou nou!
19 Moun ras nou yo ta menm kantite ak grenn sab. Pitit pitit nou yo ta tankou grenn sab bò lanmè. Anyen pa ta ka detwi nou devan mwen. Non! Nou pa ta janm disparèt devan mwen.
20 Soti kite lavil Babilòn! Sove kò nou lakay moun Kalde yo! Gaye nouvèl la ak kè kontan. Mache fè konnen l’ toupatou. Seyè a delivre Izrayèl, sèvitè li a.
21 Lè li t’ap mennen yo nan dezè a, yo pa t’ swaf dlo. Li fè sous dlo pete nan wòch pou yo. Li fann wòch la, dlo koule soti.
22 Men Seyè a di: Pa gen kè poze pou mechan yo!

Ésaïe 48
1 Écoutez ceci, maison de Jacob, Vous qui portez le nom d’Israël, Et qui êtes sortis des eaux de Juda; Vous qui jurez par le nom de l’Éternel, Et qui invoquez le Dieu d’Israël, Mais sans vérité ni droiture!
2 Car ils prennent leur nom de la ville sainte, Et ils s’appuient sur le Dieu d’Israël, Dont le nom est l’Éternel des armées.
3 Dès longtemps j’ai fait les premières prédictions, Elles sont sorties de ma bouche, et je les ai publiées: Soudain j’ai agi, et elles se sont accomplies.
4 Sachant que tu es endurci, Que ton cou est une barre de fer, Et que tu as un front d’airain,
5 Je t’ai annoncé dès longtemps ces choses, je te les ai déclarées avant qu’elles arrivassent, Afin que tu ne dises pas: C’est mon idole qui les a faites, C’est mon image taillée ou mon image en fonte qui les a ordonnées.
6 Tu entends! Considère tout cela! Et vous, ne l’avouerez-vous pas?… Maintenant, je t’annonce des choses nouvelles, Cachées, inconnues de toi.
7 Elles se produisent à présent, et n’appartiennent point au passé; Jusqu’à leur avènement tu n’en avais aucune connaissance, Afin que tu ne dises pas: Voici, je le savais.
8 Tu n’en as rien appris, tu n’en as rien su, Et jadis ton oreille n’en a point été frappée: Car je savais que tu serais infidèle, Et que dès ta naissance tu fus appelé rebelle.
9 A cause de mon nom, je suspends ma colère; A cause de ma gloire, je me contiens envers toi, Pour ne pas t’exterminer.
10 Je t’ai mis au creuset, mais non pour retirer de l’argent; Je t’ai éprouvé dans la fournaise de l’adversité.
11 C’est pour l’amour de moi, pour l’amour de moi, que je veux agir; Car comment mon nom serait-il profané? Je ne donnerai pas ma gloire à un autre.
12 Écoute-moi, Jacob! Et toi, Israël, que j’ai appelé! C’est moi, moi qui suis le premier, C’est aussi moi qui suis le dernier.
13 Ma main a fondé la terre, Et ma droite a étendu les cieux: Je les appelle, et aussitôt ils se présentent.
14 Vous tous, assemblez-vous, et écoutez! Qui d’entre eux a annoncé ces choses? Celui que l’Éternel aime exécutera sa volonté contre Babylone, Et son bras s’appesantira sur les Chaldéens.
15 Moi, moi, j’ai parlé, et je l’ai appelé; Je l’ai fait venir, et son oeuvre réussira.
16 Approchez-vous de moi, et écoutez! Dès le commencement, je n’ai point parlé en cachette, Dès l’origine de ces choses, j’ai été là. Et maintenant, le Seigneur, l’Éternel, m’a envoyé avec son esprit.
17 Ainsi parle l’Éternel, ton rédempteur, le Saint d’Israël: Moi, l’Éternel, ton Dieu, je t’instruis pour ton bien, Je te conduis dans la voie que tu dois suivre.
18 Oh! si tu étais attentif à mes commandements! Ton bien-être serait comme un fleuve, Et ton bonheur comme les flots de la mer;
19 Ta postérité serait comme le sable, Et les fruits de tes entrailles comme les grains de sable; Ton nom ne serait point effacé, anéanti devant moi.
20 Sortez de Babylone, fuyez du milieu des Chaldéens! Avec une voix d’allégresse annoncez-le, publiez-le, Faites-le savoir jusqu’à l’extrémité de la terre, Dites: L’Éternel a racheté son serviteur Jacob!
21 Et ils n’auront pas soif dans les déserts où il les conduira: Il fera jaillir pour eux l’eau du rocher, Il fendra le rocher, Et l’eau coulera.
22 Il n’y a point de paix pour les méchants, dit l’Éternel.

Isaiah 48
1 Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the Lord, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.
2 For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; The Lord of hosts is his name.
3 I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.
4 Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass;
5 I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.
6 Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them.
7 They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them.
8 Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb.
9 For my name’s sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.
10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.
12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.
13 Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.
14 All ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? The Lord hath loved him: he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.
15 I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.
16 Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord God, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
17 Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
18 O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:
19 Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.
20 Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The Lord hath redeemed his servant Jacob.
21 And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out.
22 There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked.
