1 Seyè a di Moyiz konsa: -Se koulye a ou pral wè sa m’ pral fè farawon an. Mwen pral fè l’ santi fòs ponyèt mwen. Vle pa vle, l’ap kite yo ale. Wi, m’ap fòse l’ sitèlman, se mete l’ap mete yo deyò nan peyi l’ a.
2 Bondye pale ak Moyiz, li di l’: -Se mwen menm ki Seyè a.
3 Mwen te fè Abraram, Izarak ak Jakòb konnen m’ sou non Bondye ki gen tout pouvwa a. Mwen pa t’ fè yo konnen m’ sou lòt non mwen an, ki vle di: Seyè a.
4 Mwen te pase yon kontra ak yo, mwen te pwomèt pou m’ te ba yo peyi Kanaran an, peyi kote yo te viv tankou etranje a.
5 Koulye a, mwen tande jan pèp Izrayèl la ap plenn. Moun peyi Lejip yo fè yo tounen esklav. Mwen vin chonje kontra mwen te pase ak yo a.
6 Men sa ou pral di moun pèp Izrayèl yo: Se mwen menm menm ki Seyè a. M’ap ban nou libète nou, m’ap wete nou nan travay di moun peyi Lejip yo ap fòse nou fè a. M’ap delivre nou anba esklavaj kote yo mete nou an. M’ap lonje bra m’ pou m’ delivre nou, pou pini moun peyi Lejip yo byen pini.
7 M’ap adopte nou pou pèp mwen, mwen menm m’a Bondye nou. N’a konnen se mwen menm Seyè a, Bondye nou an, ki ban nou libète nou, ki wete nou nan travay di moun peyi Lejip yo ap fòse nou fè a.
8 Apre sa, m’ap mennen nou tounen nan peyi mwen te sèmante m’ap bay Abraram, Izarak ak Jakòb la. Se mwen menm Seyè a k’ap ban nou peyi sa a pou l’ rele nou chèmèt.
9 Moyiz di pèp Izrayèl la sa, men yo pa t’ vle kwè l’, paske yo te about. Esklavaj la te peze lou sou yo.
10 Lè sa a, Seyè a di Moyiz konsa:
11 -Ale bò kote farawon an, wa Lejip la. Di l’ konsa pou l’ kite pèp Izrayèl la soti kite peyi l’ la.
12 Men, Moyiz di Seyè a: -Ata pèp Izrayèl la pa t’ koute m’, atò se farawon an ki ta koute m’? Mwen tou pa konn pale.
13 Seyè a pale ak Moyiz ansanm ak Arawon. Li ba yo lòd pale ak pèp Izrayèl la ansanm ak farawon an, wa Lejip la, pou fè yo konnen yo tou de te resevwa lòd fè pèp Izrayèl la soti kite peyi Lejip.
14 Men non chèf fanmi pèp Izrayèl yo: Woubenn, premye pitit Izrayèl la. Se li ki papa Enòk, Palou, Ezwon ak Kami. Se tout fanmi Woubenn lan sa.
15 Apre li vin Simeyon. Men non pitit Simeyon yo: Jemwèl, Jamen, Arad, Jaken, Taoska ak Sayil, yon pitit li te fè ak yon fanm moun peyi Kanaran. Se tout fanmi Simeyon yo sa.
16 Apre li vin Levi. Men non pitit Levi yo ak tout pitit yo: Gèchon, Keyat ak Merari. Levi te viv santrannsetan (137 an).
17 Men pitit Gèchon yo ak tout fanmi yo: Libni ak Chimeyi.
18 Men pitit Keyat yo: Amram, Jizeya, Ebwon ak Ouzyèl. Keyat te viv antou santranntwazan (133 an).
19 Men pitit Merari yo: Makli ak Mouchi. Se tout branch fanmi Levi yo sa ansanm ak pitit yo.
20 Amram te marye ak Jokebèd, ki matant li bò papa. Jokebèd te fè Arawon ak Moyiz pou li. Amram te viv antou santrannsetan (137 an).
21 Men pitit Jizeya yo: Kore, Nefèg ak Zikri.
22 Men pitit Ouzyèl yo: Mikayèl, Elsafan ak Sitri.
23 Arawon te marye ak Elicheba, pitit fi Aminadab, sè Nakchon. Elicheba te fè Nadab, Abiyou, Eleaza ak ltama pou Arawon.
24 Men non pitit Kore yo: Asi, Elkana ak Abyazaf. Se tout fanmi Kore yo sa.
25 Eleaza, pitit Arawon an, te marye ak yonn nan pitit fi Poutyèl yo, ki te fè Fineas pou li. Men non tout chèf fanmi Levi yo ak tout moun pa yo.
26 Se menm Arawon sa a ansanm ak Moyiz Seyè a te di: Fè pitit Izrayèl yo soti kite peyi Lejip la, gwoup pa gwoup.
27 Se yo menm tou ki t al di farawon an, wa Lejip la, pou l’ fè pèp Izrayèl la soti kite Lejip. Wi, se Arawon sa a avèk Moyiz sa a ki te fè tou sa.
28 Lè Seyè a te pale ak Moyiz nan peyi Lejip la, men sa li te di l’:
29 -Se mwen menm ki Seyè a! Tou sa mwen di ou la a, se pou ou rapòte l’ bay farawon an, wa Lejip la.
30 Men Moyiz koupe pawòl nan bouch Seyè a, li di l’: -Pawòl pa vin nan bouch mwen fasil. Ou kwè farawon an pral chita tande m’?

Exode 6
1 L’Éternel dit à Moïse: Tu verras maintenant ce que je ferai à Pharaon; une main puissante le forcera à les laisser aller, une main puissante le forcera à les chasser de son pays.
2 Dieu parla encore à Moïse, et lui dit: Je suis l’Éternel.
3 Je suis apparu à Abraham, à Isaac et à Jacob, comme le Dieu tout puissant; mais je n’ai pas été connu d’eux sous mon nom, l’Éternel.
4 J’ai aussi établi mon alliance avec eux, pour leur donner le pays de Canaan, le pays de leurs pèlerinages, dans lequel ils ont séjourné.
5 J’ai entendu les gémissements des enfants d’Israël, que les Égyptiens tiennent dans la servitude, et je me suis souvenu de mon alliance.
6 C’est pourquoi dis aux enfants d’Israël: Je suis l’Éternel, je vous affranchirai des travaux dont vous chargent les Égyptiens, je vous délivrerai de leur servitude, et je vous sauverai à bras étendu et par de grands jugements.
7 Je vous prendrai pour mon peuple, je serai votre Dieu, et vous saurez que c’est moi, l’Éternel, votre Dieu, qui vous affranchis des travaux dont vous chargent les Égyptiens.
8 Je vous ferai entrer dans le pays que j’ai juré de donner à Abraham, à Isaac et à Jacob; je vous le donnerai en possession, moi l’Éternel.
9 Ainsi parla Moïse aux enfants d’Israël. Mais l’angoisse et la dure servitude les empêchèrent d’écouter Moïse.
10 L’Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit:
11 Va, parle à Pharaon, roi d’Égypte, pour qu’il laisse aller les enfants d’Israël hors de son pays.
12 Moïse répondit en présence de l’Éternel: Voici, les enfants d’Israël ne m’ont point écouté; comment Pharaon m’écouterait-il, moi qui n’ai pas la parole facile?
13 L’Éternel parla à Moïse et à Aaron, et leur donna des ordres au sujet des enfants d’Israël et au sujet de Pharaon, roi d’Égypte, pour faire sortir du pays d’Égypte les enfants d’Israël.
14 Voici les chefs de leurs familles. Fils de Ruben, premier-né d’Israël: Hénoc, Pallu, Hetsron et Carmi. Ce sont là les familles de Ruben.
15 Fils de Siméon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jakin et Tsochar; et Saül, fils de la Cananéenne. Ce sont là les familles de Siméon.
16 Voici les noms des fils de Lévi, avec leur postérité: Guerschon, Kehath et Merari. Les années de la vie de Lévi furent de cent trente-sept ans. –
17 Fils de Guerschon: Libni et Schimeï, et leurs familles. –
18 Fils de Kehath: Amram, Jitsehar, Hébron et Uziel. Les années de la vie de Kehath furent de cent trente-trois ans. –
19 Fils de Merari: Machli et Muschi. -Ce sont là les familles de Lévi, avec leur postérité.
20 Amram prit pour femme Jokébed, sa tante; et elle lui enfanta Aaron, et Moïse. Les années de la vie d’Amram furent de cent trente-sept ans. –
21 Fils de Jitsehar: Koré, Népheg et Zicri. –
22 Fils d’Uziel: Mischaël, Eltsaphan et Sithri.
23 Aaron prit pour femme Élischéba, fille d’Amminadab, soeur de Nachschon; et elle lui enfanta Nadab, Abihu, Éléazar et Ithamar.
24 Fils de Koré: Assir, Elkana et Abiasaph. Ce sont là les familles des Korites.
25 Éléazar, fils d’Aaron, prit pour femme une des filles de Puthiel; et elle lui enfanta Phinées. Tels sont les chefs de famille des Lévites, avec leurs familles.
26 Ce sont là cet Aaron et ce Moïse, à qui l’Éternel dit: Faites sortir du pays d’Égypte les enfants d’Israël, selon leurs armées.
27 Ce sont eux qui parlèrent à Pharaon, roi d’Égypte, pour faire sortir d’Égypte les enfants d’Israël. Ce sont là ce Moïse et cet Aaron.
28 Lorsque l’Éternel parla à Moïse dans le pays d’Égypte,
29 l’Éternel dit à Moïse: Je suis l’Éternel. Dis à Pharaon, roi d’Égypte, tout ce que je te dis.
30 Et Moïse répondit en présence de l’Éternel: Voici, je n’ai pas la parole facile; comment Pharaon m’écouterait-il?
Exodus 6
1 Then the Lord said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.
2 And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord:
3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them.
4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.
5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.
6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:
7 And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
8 And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the Lord.
9 And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
10 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
11 Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.
12 And Moses spake before the Lord, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?
13 And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
14 These be the heads of their fathers’ houses: The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these be the families of Reuben.
15 And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman: these are the families of Simeon.
16 And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi were an hundred thirty and seven years.
17 The sons of Gershon; Libni, and Shimi, according to their families.
18 And the sons of Kohath; Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath were an hundred thirty and three years.
19 And the sons of Merari; Mahali and Mushi: these are the families of Levi according to their generations.
20 And Amram took him Jochebed his father’s sister to wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and seven years.
21 And the sons of Izhar; Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.
22 And the sons of Uzziel; Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Zithri.
23 And Aaron took him Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and she bare him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
24 And the sons of Korah; Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites.
25 And Eleazar Aaron’s son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bare him Phinehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.
26 These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the Lord said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.
27 These are they which spake to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and Aaron.
28 And it came to pass on the day when the Lord spake unto Moses in the land of Egypt,
29 That the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, I am the Lord: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee.
30 And Moses said before the Lord, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?
