Sòm 33
1 Nou tout k’ap viv jan Bondye vle l’ la, fè kè nou kontan pou sa Seyè a fè. Nou tout k’ap mache dwat devan li, li bon pou n’ fè lwanj li.
2 Jwe enstriman mizik pou di Seyè a mèsi! Jwe gita dis kòd la, fè fèt pou li.
3 Chante yon chante tou nèf pou li. Wi, jwe bèl mizik, chante byen fò.
4 Paske, pawòl Seyè a se verite. Li fè tout bagay jan l’ te di l’ la.
5 Seyè a renmen sa ki dwat, li renmen sa ki san patipri. Toupatou sou latè nou wè jan li gen bon kè.
6 Seyè a pale, epi syèl la fèt. Li soufle ak bouch li, tou sa ki nan syèl la fèt.
7 Li ranmase tout dlo lanmè a yon sèl kote. Li mete tout dlo ki nan fon lanmè a nan rezèvwa.
8 Se pou tout moun sou latè gen krentif pou Seyè a. Se pou tout moun sou latè tranble devan li.
9 Paske, li pale, bagay la rive. Li bay lòd, tout bagay fèt.
10 Seyè a detounen plan travay peyi yo, li anpeche pèp yo reyalize sa yo te gen lide fè.
11 Men, plan travay Seyè a la pou tout tan. Sa l’ gen lide fè a ap toujou fèt.
12 Ala bon sa bon lè yon peyi gen Seyè a pou Bondye li! Ala bon sa bon pou pèp li chwazi pou rele l’ pa l’ la!
13 Seyè a rete nan syèl la, li gade anba, li wè tout moun.
14 Kote li ye lakay li a, li gade anba, li wè sa tout moun ap fè sou tè a.
15 Se li menm ki penmèt yo gen lide nan tèt yo, l’ap veye tou sa y’ap fè.
16 Se pa yon gwo lame k’ap fè yon wa genyen batay la. Se pa gwo kouray k’ap fè yon sòlda kraze lènmi l’ yo.
17 Pa mete nan tèt ou yon chwal ka fè ou genyen batay la. Bon kou l’ bon, li pa ka sove pesonn.
18 Seyè a ap veye sou moun ki gen krentif pou li. L’ap veye sou moun ki met espwa yo nan li paske yo konnen li renmen yo.
19 L’ap rache yo anba lanmò. L’ap kenbe yo vivan lè grangou tonbe sou peyi a.
20 Nou mete tout espwa nou nan Seyè a. Se li menm ki tout sekou nou. Se li menm ki tout pwoteksyon nou.
21 Se li ki fè kè nou kontan. Nou mete konfyans nou nan li ki yon Bondye apa.
22 Tanpri, Seyè, toujou fè nou favè, menm jan nou menm nou mete tout espwa nou nan ou.

Psaumes 33
1 Justes, réjouissez-vous en l’Éternel! La louange sied aux hommes droits.
2 Célébrez l’Éternel avec la harpe, Célébrez-le sur le luth à dix cordes.
3 Chantez-lui un cantique nouveau! Faites retentir vos instruments et vos voix!
4 Car la parole de l’Éternel est droite, Et toutes ses oeuvres s’accomplissent avec fidélité;
5 Il aime la justice et la droiture; La bonté de l’Éternel remplit la terre.
6 Les cieux ont été faits par la parole de l’Éternel, Et toute leur armée par le souffle de sa bouche.
7 Il amoncelle en un tas les eaux de la mer, Il met dans des réservoirs les abîmes.
8 Que toute la terre craigne l’Éternel! Que tous les habitants du monde tremblent devant lui!
9 Car il dit, et la chose arrive; Il ordonne, et elle existe.
10 L’Éternel renverse les desseins des nations, Il anéantit les projets des peuples;
11 Les desseins de l’Éternel subsistent à toujours, Et les projets de son coeur, de génération en génération.
12 Heureuse la nation dont l’Éternel est le Dieu! Heureux le peuple qu’il choisit pour son héritage!
13 L’Éternel regarde du haut des cieux, Il voit tous les fils de l’homme;
14 Du lieu de sa demeure il observe Tous les habitants de la terre,
15 Lui qui forme leur coeur à tous, Qui est attentif à toutes leurs actions.
16 Ce n’est pas une grande armée qui sauve le roi, Ce n’est pas une grande force qui délivre le héros;
17 Le cheval est impuissant pour assurer le salut, Et toute sa vigueur ne donne pas la délivrance.
18 Voici, l’oeil de l’Éternel est sur ceux qui le craignent, Sur ceux qui espèrent en sa bonté,
19 Afin d’arracher leur âme à la mort Et de les faire vivre au milieu de la famine.
20 Notre âme espère en l’Éternel; Il est notre secours et notre bouclier.
21 Car notre coeur met en lui sa joie, Car nous avons confiance en son saint nom.
22 Éternel! que ta grâce soit sur nous, Comme nous espérons en toi!

Psalm 33
1 Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
2 Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
3 Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
4 For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.
5 He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
6 By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
8 Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
10 The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
11 The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
13 The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
15 He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.
16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22 Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
