Esdras 6
1 Se konsa wa Dariyis bay lòd pou yo fè chache nan tout depo kote yo te sere achiv yo ak trezò yo nan peyi Babilòn.
2 Epi yo jwenn yon woulo papye nan fò Achmeta, yon fòtrès ki te nan pwovens Medi a. Men sa ki te ekri nan woulo papye a:
3 -Nan premye lanne rèy li, wa Siris te bay lòd sa a sou tanp Bondye a nan lavil Jerizalèm: Se pou yo rebati tanp lan pou l’ ka sèvi kote yo ka touye bèt ak boule ofrann nan dife pou Bondye. Tanp lan va gen trant mèt wotè, trant mèt lajè.
4 Y’a moute miray yo an bwa ak wòch, yonn sou lòt, twa ranje wòch pou chak ranje bwa. Y’a pran lajan nan kès wa a pou peye tout depans ki va fèt pou travay la.
5 Konsa tou, y’a renmèt yo tout veso an lò ak an ajan Nèbikadneza te pran nan tanp Bondye a lavil Jerizalèm pou l’ te pote isit lavil Babilòn, pou tout bagay tounen nan plas yo nan tanp Bondye a lavil Jerizalèm.
6 Lè sa a, wa Dariyis voye repons sa a: -Pou Tatenayi, gouvènè pwovens lòt bò larivyè Lefrat la, Cheta-Boznayi ak lòt kòlèg yo ki otorite nan Afasak la. Pa pwoche bò tanp lan.
7 Kite yo travay nan tanp Bondye a. Se pou gouvènè pèyi Jida a ak chèf fanmi yo rebati tanp lan sou menm anplasman kote l’ te ye anvan an.
8 Okontrè, men ki jan pou nou boule ak chèf fanmi pèp jwif yo nan travay y’ap fè pou rebati tanp Bondye sa a: N’a pran lajan nan kès wa ki nan men nou an, ki vle di nan lajan kontribisyon n’a ranmase nan pwovens la, n’a renmèt yo kòb tout depans y’a fè, san wete senk, pou travay la pa rete.
9 N’a bay prèt Jerizalèm yo tou sa y’a bezwen pou fè ofrann bèt pou yo boule nèt nan dife pou Bondye ki nan syèl la. Chak jou, dapre sa prèt lavil Jerizalèm yo va di nou, n’a ba yo jenn ti towo, belye, ti mouton ansanm ak ble, sèl, diven, lwil y’a bezwen pou boule pou Seyè a. Pa pote okenn neglijans nan sa.
10 Konsa, y’a ka ofri sakrifis santi bon ki va fè Seyè a plezi. Y’a lapriyè pou wa a ak pou pitit li yo.
11 Men yon lòd mwen bay ankò: si yon moun refize fè anyen nan sa m’ mande la a, y’a rache yon poto bwa nan kay li, y’a fè yon pwent li, y’a pèse moun lan pak an pak ak li. Pou kay li a menm, y’a fè l’ tounen yon pil fatra, poutèt sa li fè a.
12 Se pou Bondye ki chwazi lavil Jerizalèm pou se la yo bati kay li a jete tout wa, kraze tout nasyon ki ta konprann pou yo pa koute lòd mwen bay la a, epi ki ta detwi tanp Bondye a ki lavil Jerizalèm. Se mwen menm, Dariyis, ki bay lòd sa a. Se pou yo fè sa mwen bay lòd fè a san wete san mete.
13 Tatenayi, gouvènè pwovens ki lòt bò larivyè Efrat la, Cheta-Boznayi ak lòt chèf yo fè sa wa Dariyis te bay lòd fè a san wete san mete.
14 Chèf fanmi jwif yo menm rebati tanp lan san pwoblèm, avèk ankourajman Aje, pwofèt Bondye a, ak Zakari, pitit gason Ido a, t’ap ba yo ak mesaj Bondye yo. Se konsa yo fin rebati tanp lan jan Bondye pèp Izrayèl la te ba yo lòd la, ak jan Dariyis, Siris ak Atagzèsès, tou twa wa peyi Pès la, te ba yo lòd la tou.
15 Travay la fini sou twazyèm jou nan mwa Ada a, nan sizyèm lanne rèy wa Dariyis.
16 Lè sa a, tout pèp Izrayèl la, prèt yo, moun Levi yo ak tout rès moun ki te tounen yo fè fèt, yo fè gwo seremoni pou mete tanp lan apa pou sèvis Bondye.
17 Yo ofri san (100) towo, desan (200) belye mouton, katsan (400) ti mouton pou yo touye pou mete tanp lan apa pou sèvis Bondye. Yo ofri tou douz bouk kabrit, yonn pou chak branch fanmi pèp Izrayèl la, pou mande Bondye padon pou peche pèp la.
18 Apre sa, yo òganize sèvis tanp Bondye a lavil Jerizalèm. Yo separe prèt yo an divès kategori, yo separe moun Levi yo an divès klas, chak gwoup ak travay pa yo pou yo fè, jan sa ekri nan liv Moyiz la.
19 Katòzyèm jou mwa Nisan an, nan lanne senksankenz (515), jwif ki te tounen soti nan peyi kote yo te depòte yo a fete fèt Delivrans lan.
20 Yo te fè yon sèl sèvis pou tout prèt yo ansanm ak tout moun Levi yo pou mete yo nan kondisyon pou fè sèvis Bondye. Yo tout te nan kondisyon pou fè sèvis Bondye: yo touye bèt yo te ofri pou fèt Delivrans lan, yo fè yon sèl seremoni pou tout pèp la, pou prèt parèy yo ak pou yo menm tou.
21 Men moun ki te manje manje Delivrans lan. Se te tout jwif ki te tounen soti nan peyi kote yo te depòte yo a ansanm ak rès moun pèp Izrayèl yo ki pa t’ janm kite peyi yo men ki te vire do bay vye bagay lòt moun yo t’ap fè nan peyi yo epi ki te vin mete tèt ansanm ak moun ki te tounen yo pou adore Seyè a, Bondye pèp Izrayèl la.
22 Pandan sèt jou, yo fete Fèt Pen san ledven an ak kè kontan. Yo te kontan anpil dèske Seyè a te manyen kè wa peyi Lasiri a, ki te ankouraje yo anpil nan tout gwo travay yo t’ap fè a pou rebati tanp Bondye pèp Izrayèl la.

1 Alors le roi Darius donna ordre de faire des recherches dans la maison des archives où l’on déposait les trésors à Babylone.
2 Et l’on trouva à Achmetha, capitale de la province de Médie, un rouleau sur lequel était écrit le mémoire suivant:
3 La première année du roi Cyrus, le roi Cyrus a donné cet ordre au sujet de la maison de Dieu à Jérusalem: Que la maison soit rebâtie, pour être un lieu où l’on offre des sacrifices, et qu’elle ait des solides fondements. Elle aura soixante coudées de hauteur, soixante coudées de largeur,
4 trois rangées de pierres de taille et une rangée de bois neuf. Les frais seront payés par la maison du roi.
5 De plus, les ustensiles d’or et d’argent de la maison de Dieu, que Nebucadnetsar avait enlevés du temple de Jérusalem et transportés à Babylone, seront rendus, transportés au temple de Jérusalem à la place où ils étaient, et déposés dans la maison de Dieu.
6 Maintenant, Thathnaï, gouverneur de l’autre côté du fleuve, Schethar Boznaï, et vos collègues d’Apharsac, qui demeurez de l’autre côté du fleuve, tenez-vous loin de ce lieu.
7 Laissez continuer les travaux de cette maison de Dieu; que le gouverneur des Juifs et les anciens des Juifs la rebâtissent sur l’emplacement qu’elle occupait.
8 Voici l’ordre que je donne touchant ce que vous aurez à faire à l’égard de ces anciens des Juifs pour la construction de cette maison de Dieu: les frais, pris sur les biens du roi provenant des tributs de l’autre côté du fleuve, seront exactement payés à ces hommes, afin qu’il n’y ait pas d’interruption.
9 Les choses nécessaires pour les holocaustes du Dieu des cieux, jeunes taureaux, béliers et agneaux, froment, sel, vin et huile, seront livrées, sur leur demande, aux sacrificateurs de Jérusalem, jour par jour et sans manquer,
10 afin qu’ils offrent des sacrifices de bonne odeur au Dieu des cieux et qu’ils prient pour la vie du roi et de ses fils.
11 Et voici l’ordre que je donne touchant quiconque transgressera cette parole: on arrachera de sa maison une pièce de bois, on la dressera pour qu’il y soit attaché, et l’on fera de sa maison un tas d’immondices.
12 Que le Dieu qui fait résider en ce lieu son nom renverse tout roi et tout peuple qui étendraient la main pour transgresser ma parole, pour détruire cette maison de Dieu à Jérusalem! Moi, Darius, j’ai donné cet ordre. Qu’il soit ponctuellement exécuté.
13 Thathnaï, gouverneur de ce côté du fleuve, Schethar Boznaï, et leurs collègues, se conformèrent ponctuellement à cet ordre que leur envoya le roi Darius.
14 Et les anciens des Juifs bâtirent avec succès, selon les prophéties d’Aggée, le prophète, et de Zacharie, fils d’Iddo; ils bâtirent et achevèrent, d’après l’ordre du Dieu d’Israël, et d’après l’ordre de Cyrus, de Darius, et d’Artaxerxès, rois de Perse.
15 La maison fut achevée le troisième jour du mois d’Adar, dans la sixième année du règne du roi Darius.
16 Les enfants d’Israël, les sacrificateurs et les Lévites, et le reste des fils de la captivité, firent avec joie la dédicace de cette maison de Dieu.
17 Ils offrirent, pour la dédicace de cette maison de Dieu, cent taureaux, deux cents béliers, quatre cents agneaux, et, comme victimes expiatoires pour tout Israël, douze boucs, d’après le nombre des tribus d’Israël.
18 Ils établirent les sacrificateurs selon leurs classes et les Lévites selon leurs divisions pour le service de Dieu à Jérusalem, comme il est écrit dans le livre de Moïse.
19 Les fils de la captivité célébrèrent la Pâque le quatorzième jour du premier mois.
20 Les sacrificateurs et les Lévites s’étaient purifiés de concert, tous étaient purs; ils immolèrent la Pâque pour tous les fils de la captivité, pour leurs frères les sacrificateurs, et pour eux-mêmes.
21 Les enfants d’Israël revenus de la captivité mangèrent la Pâque, avec tous ceux qui s’étaient éloignés de l’impureté des nations du pays et qui se joignirent à eux pour chercher l’Éternel, le Dieu d’Israël.
22 Ils célébrèrent avec joie pendant sept jours la fête des pains sans levain, car l’Éternel les avait réjouis en disposant le roi d’Assyrie à les soutenir dans l’oeuvre de la maison de Dieu, du Dieu d’Israël.

1 Then Darius the king made a decree, and search was made in the house of the rolls, where the treasures were laid up in Babylon.
2 And there was found at Achmetha, in the palace that is in the province of the Medes, a roll, and therein was a record thus written:
3 In the first year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof threescore cubits;
4 With three rows of great stones, and a row of new timber: and let the expenses be given out of the king’s house:
5 And also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took forth out of the temple which is at Jerusalem, and brought unto Babylon, be restored, and brought again unto the temple which is at Jerusalem, every one to his place, and place them in the house of God.
6 Now therefore, Tatnai, governor beyond the river, Shetharboznai, and your companions the Apharsachites, which are beyond the river, be ye far from thence:
7 Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God in his place.
8 Moreover I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king’s goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expenses be given unto these men, that they be not hindered.
9 And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests which are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail:
10 That they may offer sacrifices of sweet savours unto the God of heaven, and pray for the life of the king, and of his sons.
11 Also I have made a decree, that whosoever shall alter this word, let timber be pulled down from his house, and being set up, let him be hanged thereon; and let his house be made a dunghill for this.
12 And the God that hath caused his name to dwell there destroy all kings and people, that shall put to their hand to alter and to destroy this house of God which is at Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree; let it be done with speed.
13 Then Tatnai, governor on this side the river, Shetharboznai, and their companions, according to that which Darius the king had sent, so they did speedily.
14 And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
15 And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.
16 And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy.
17 And offered at the dedication of this house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
18 And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service of God, which is at Jerusalem; as it is written in the book of Moses.
19 And the children of the captivity kept the passover upon the fourteenth day of the first month.
20 For the priests and the Levites were purified together, all of them were pure, and killed the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves.
21 And the children of Israel, which were come again out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves unto them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the Lord God of Israel, did eat,
22 And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for the Lord had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.
