Sòm 30
1 Kantik pou fèt Benediksyon Tanp lan. Se yon sòm David. M’ap fè lwanj ou, Seyè, paske ou mete m’ sou de pye m’ ankò, paske ou pa bay lènmi m’ yo chans pou yo pase m’ nan rizib.
2 Seyè, Bondye mwen, mwen rele nan pye ou, epi ou geri mwen.
3 Ou rale m’ soti nan bouch twou a. Ou ban m’ lavi ankò, ou pa kite m’ mouri.
4 Nou tout ki renmen Seyè a, fè lwanj li! Chonje sa l’ te fè. Li pa tankou tout moun. Di l’ mèsi.
5 Paske, lè li ankòlè, se pou yon ti tan. Men, li ban nou favè l’ pou tout tan n’ap viv. Lannwit nou kriye, Kou l’ jou, kè nou kontan.
6 Mwen te santi kè m’ poze, se sak fè mwen t’ap di: -Anyen p’ap janm rive m’.
7 Seyè, ou fè m’ favè, ou mete m’ chita sou yon mòn byen wo. Men, kou ou vire do ban mwen, kè m’ kase.
8 Mwen te kriye nan pye ou, Seyè. Mwen te mande ou sekou.
9 Si ou kite yo touye m’, sa sa ap fè pou ou? Si ou kite m’ ale anba tè, sa sa ap rapòte ou? Eske moun mouri ka fè lwanj ou? Eske yo ka mache di jan ou toujou kenbe pawòl ou?
10 Koute m’ non, Seyè! Gen pitye pou mwen! Seyè, pote m’ sekou!
11 Ou siye dlo nan je m’, ou fè kè m’ kontan anpil. Ou wete rad dèy ki te sou mwen an, ou ban m’ yon bèl rad mete sou mwen pou m’ fè fèt.
12 Mwen p’ap rete ak bouch mwen fèmen, m’ap chante lwanj ou. Seyè, se ou menm ki Bondye mwen! Se tout tan tout tan m’ap di ou mèsi.

1 Psaume. Cantique pour la dédicace de la maison. De David. Je t’exalte, ô Éternel, car tu m’as relevé, Tu n’as pas voulu que mes ennemis se réjouissent à mon sujet.
2 Éternel, mon Dieu! J’ai crié à toi, et tu m’as guéri.
3 Éternel! tu as fait remonter mon âme du séjour des morts, Tu m’as fait revivre loin de ceux qui descendent dans la fosse.
4 Chantez à l’Éternel, vous qui l’aimez, Célébrez par vos louanges sa sainteté!
5 Car sa colère dure un instant, Mais sa grâce toute la vie; Le soir arrivent les pleurs, Et le matin l’allégresse.
6 Je disais dans ma sécurité: Je ne chancellerai jamais!
7 Éternel! par ta grâce tu avais affermi ma montagne… Tu cachas ta face, et je fus troublé.
8 Éternel! j’ai crié à toi, J’ai imploré l’Éternel:
9 Que gagnes-tu à verser mon sang, A me faire descendre dans la fosse? La poussière a-t-elle pour toi des louanges? Raconte-t-elle ta fidélité?
10 Écoute, Éternel, aie pitié de moi! Éternel, secours-moi! –
11 Et tu as changé mes lamentations en allégresse, Tu as délié mon sac, et tu m’as ceint de joie,
12 Afin que mon coeur te chante et ne soit pas muet. Éternel, mon Dieu! je te louerai toujours.

Psalm 30
1 I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
2 O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
3 O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
4 Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
7 Lord, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
8 I cried to thee, O Lord; and unto the Lord I made supplication.
9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?
10 Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon me: Lord, be thou my helper.
11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
