Sòm 54
1 Pou chèf sanba yo. Se yon chante David te ekri lè moun peyi Zif yo te al di Sayil men David kache lakay yo. Bondye, delivre m’ non avèk pouvwa ou! Fè m’ jistis avèk fòs kouraj ou!
2 Bondye, koute m’ non lè m’ap lapriyè! Panche zòrèy ou pou tande pawòl k’ap soti nan bouch mwen!
3 Paske gen yon seri moun awogan ki leve dèyè m’, yon bann mechan ki soti pou touye m’! Yo pa menm chonje si gen Bondye!
4 Men, Bondye ap vin ede m’. Seyè a ap pran defans mwen.
5 L’ap fè mechanste moun ki pa vle wè m’ yo tonbe sou tèt yo; l’ap fini nèt ak yo paske l’ap toujou kenbe pawòl li.
6 Seyè, m’a ofri bèt pou yo touye pou ou ak kè kontan, m’a fè lwanj ou, paske ou bon pou mwen.
7 Ou delivre m’ anba tray mwen te ye a; ou fè m’ wè lènmi m’ yo pèdi batay la.

1 Au chef des chantres. Avec instruments à cordes. Cantique de David. Lorsque les Ziphiens vinrent dire à Saül: David n’est-il pas caché parmi nous? O Dieu! sauve-moi par ton nom, Et rends-moi justice par ta puissance!
2 O Dieu! écoute ma prière, Prête l’oreille aux paroles de ma bouche!
3 Car des étrangers se sont levés contre moi, Des hommes violents en veulent à ma vie; Ils ne portent pas leurs pensées sur Dieu. -Pause.
4 Voici, Dieu est mon secours, Le Seigneur est le soutien de mon âme.
5 Le mal retombera sur mes adversaires; Anéantis-les, dans ta fidélité!
6 Je t’offrirai de bon coeur des sacrifices; Je louerai ton nom, ô Éternel! car il est favorable,
7 Car il me délivre de toute détresse, Et mes yeux se réjouissent à la vue de mes ennemis.

1 Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.
2 Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
3 For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
5 He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O Lord; for it is good.
7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
