Sòm 59
1 Pou chèf sanba yo. Se pou yo chante l’ sou menm lè ak chante ki di: Pa deaavid te ekri lè Sayil te voye moun veye kay li pou touye l’. Delivre m’ anba lènmi m’ yo, Bondye mwen! Pwoteje m’ pou moun k’ap leve dèyè m’ yo pa jwenn mwen!
2 Delivre m’ anba malveyan yo! Sove m’ anba ansasen sa yo!
3 Yo mete anbiskad pou yo touye m’. Yon bann ansasen ap fè konplo sou do mwen, san m’ pa fè anyen ki mal, san m’ pa fè okenn fòt, Seyè.
4 Malgre mwen inonsan, y’ap kouri, y’ap pare tann mwen! Leve non! vin bò kote mwen! Gade yo!
5 Ou menm, Seyè, Bondye, ou menm ki chèf lame zanj yo, ou menm ki Bondye pèp Izrayèl la, leve non! vin pini moun lòt nasyon yo! Se pou ou san pitye pou bann mechan sa yo k’ap trayi ou!
6 Chak swa, yo tounen. Yo mache nan tout lavil la, y’ap jape tankou chen.
7 Tande sa y’ap di! Tande jan y’ap pale! Lang nan bouch yo, ou ta di se yon ponya! Y’ap di: Pa gen moun k’ap tande nou!
8 Men ou menm, Seyè, ou pase yo nan rizib! Ou pase tout nasyon yo nan jwèt.
9 Se ou ki tout defans mwen, se sou ou mwen konte. Bondye, se bò kote ou mwen jwenn pwoteksyon.
10 Bondye mwen, w’ap vin kanpe bò kote m’, paske ou renmen m’. W’ap fè m’ wè jan moun k’ap pèsekite m’ yo ap fini mal.
11 Pa touye yo pou moun pa m’ yo ka chonje! Avèk pouvwa ou, fè yo pa konn sa y’ap fè, fè yo tonbe. Seyè, se ou menm ki tout pwoteksyon mwen.
12 Chak pawòl ki soti nan bouch yo se yon peche. Se pwòp lògèy yo k’ap fini ak yo. Se madichon ak manti ase k’ap soti nan bouch yo.
13 Lè ou an kòlè, fini ak yo. Fini ak yo nèt, fè yo disparèt. Fè tout moun konnen se Bondye k’ap gouvènen nan peyi Jakòb la. Se li k’ap gouvènen toupatou sou latè.
14 Chak swa, yo tounen. Y’ap jape tankou chen, y’ap mache nan tout lavil la.
15 Y’ap moute desann, y’ap chache manje. Y’ap plenn paske yo pa jwenn ase pou plen vant yo.
16 Men mwen menm, m’ap chante pou m’ di jan ou gen pouvwa. Chak maten m’a fè lwanj ou pou m’ di jan ou pa janm sispann renmen nou. Paske, se ou ki tout defans mwen, se bò kote ou mwen te jwenn pwoteksyon lè m’ te anba tray.
17 Wi, m’ap fè lwanj ou, ou menm ki tout defans mwen. Se bò kot Bondye mwen jwenn pwoteksyon, bò kot Bondye ki renmen m’ lan.

1 Au chef des chantres. «Ne détruis pas.» Hymne de David. Lorsque Saül envoya cerner la maison, pour le faire mourir. Mon Dieu! délivre-moi de mes ennemis, Protège-moi contre mes adversaires!
2 Délivre-moi des malfaiteurs, Et sauve-moi des hommes de sang!
3 Car voici, ils sont aux aguets pour m’ôter la vie; Des hommes violents complotent contre moi, Sans que je sois coupable, sans que j’aie péché, ô Éternel!
4 Malgré mon innocence, ils courent, ils se préparent: Réveille-toi, viens à ma rencontre, et regarde!
5 Toi, Éternel, Dieu des armées, Dieu d’Israël, Lève-toi, pour châtier toutes les nations! N’aie pitié d’aucun de ces méchants infidèles! -Pause.
6 Ils reviennent chaque soir, ils hurlent comme des chiens, Ils font le tour de la ville.
7 ) Voici, de leur bouche ils font jaillir le mal, Des glaives sont sur leurs lèvres; Car, qui est-ce qui entend?
8 Et toi, Éternel, tu te ris d’eux, Tu te moques de toutes les nations.
9 Quelle que soit leur force, c’est en toi que j’espère, Car Dieu est ma haute retraite.
10 Mon Dieu vient au-devant de moi dans sa bonté, Dieu me fait contempler avec joie ceux qui me persécutent.
11 Ne les tue pas, de peur que mon peuple ne l’oublie; Fais-les errer par ta puissance, et précipite-les, Seigneur, notre bouclier!
12 Leur bouche pèche à chaque parole de leurs lèvres: Qu’ils soient pris dans leur propre orgueil! Ils ne profèrent que malédictions et mensonges.
13 Détruis-les, dans ta fureur, détruis-les, et qu’ils ne soient plus! Qu’ils sachent que Dieu règne sur Jacob, Jusqu’aux extrémités de la terre! -Pause.
14 Ils reviennent chaque soir, ils hurlent comme des chiens, Ils font le tour de la ville.
15 Ils errent çà et là, cherchant leur nourriture, Et ils passent la nuit sans être rassasiés.
16 Et moi, je chanterai ta force; Dès le matin, je célébrerai ta bonté. Car tu es pour moi une haute retraite, Un refuge au jour de ma détresse.
17 O ma force! c’est toi que je célébrerai, Car Dieu, mon Dieu tout bon, est ma haute retraite.

Psalm 59
1 Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.
2 Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
3 For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Lord.
4 They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.
5 Thou therefore, O Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.
6 They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
7 Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?
8 But thou, O Lord, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.
9 Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.
10 The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.
11 Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.
12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.
13 Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.
14 And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
15 Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.
16 But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.
17 Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
