1 Moyiz pale ak chèf branch fanmi pèp Izrayèl yo. Li di yo konsa: -Men lòd Seyè a bay.
2 Lè yon moun fè yon ve l’ap bay Seyè a kichòy ou ankò lè yon moun pwomèt li p’ap fè yon bagay, li pa fèt pou l’ pa kenbe pawòl. Se pou l’ fè tou sa li te pwomèt l’ap fè a.
3 Si yon jenn fi ki lakay papa l’ toujou fè yon ve l’ap bay Seyè a kichòy ou ankò li pwomèt pou l’ pa fè yon bagay,
4 lè papa a vin konn sa, si li pa di l’ anyen, jenn fi a gen obligasyon pou l’ kenbe ve li te pran an, osinon pwomès li te fè a.
5 Men, si lè papa a vin konn sa, li fè opozisyon, ni ve jenn fi a te pran yo ni pwomès li te fè yo pa kenbe ankò: yo pa vo anyen. Seyè a p’ap gade sou sa, li p’ap fè l’ anyen, paske se pa fòt li. Se papa l’ ki derefize kite l’ kenbe pawòl li.
6 Si yon jenn fi te anba obligasyon pou l’ te kenbe yon ve li te pran osinon yon pwomès li te fè, menm si li te pran yo an jwèt, si li rive marye,
7 epi mari a pa di l’ anyen lè li vin konn sa, fi a gen obligasyon pou l’ kenbe ve li te pran an osinon pwomès li te fè a.
8 Men, si jou mari a vin konn sa li fè opozisyon, lamenm li wete fanm lan anba obligasyon li te genyen pou l’ te kenbe ve li te pran an osinon pwomès li te fè a. Seyè a p’ap gade sou sa, li p’ap fè l’ anyen.
9 Men lè yon fanm ki vèv osinon ki divòse fè yon ve pou l’ bay Seyè a kichòy, osinon li pwomèt pou l’ pa fè yon bagay, se pou l’ kenbe pawòl li.
10 Si yon madanm marye, antan li lakay mari l’, pran yon ve pou fè kichòy osinon pwomèt pou l’ pa fè yon bagay,
11 epi si lè mari l’ vin konn sa, li pa di l’ anyen, li pa fè okenn opozisyon, fanm lan gen obligasyon pou l’ kenbe ve li te pran an osinon pwomès li te fè a, nenpòt kisa yo te ye.
12 Men, si mari a vin konn sa, epi menm jou li vin konn sa a, li di li pa dakò, fanm lan p’ap nan obligasyon pou l’ kenbe pawòl ni pou ve li te pran an, ni pou pwomès li te fè a. Se mari a ki te derefize kite l’ kenbe pawòl li. Konsa, Seyè a p’ap gade sou sa, li p’ap fè l’ anyen.
13 Yon mari gen dwa dakò, konsa tou li gen dwa refize dakò kite madanm li kenbe pawòl li, ni pou ve madanm li te pran an, ni pou pwomès li te fè a.
14 Men, si apre mari a vin konn sa li kite yon jou pase, li pa di l’ anyen ankò, sa vle di li dakò ak ve madanm li te pran an osinon ak pwomès madanm lan te fè a. Depi mari a pa di l’ anyen lè li vin konn sa, sa vle di se dakò li dakò.
15 Men si, apre mari a vin konn angajman madanm lan te pran an, mari a kite kèk jou pase anvan li di li pa dakò, se li menm k’ap sibi chatiman ki pou ta tonbe sou madanm lan pou pawòl li pa kenbe a.
16 Men tout regleman Seyè a te bay Moyiz pou yon fanm ki fè ve osinon ki pran yon angajman. Si li marye, men tout jan mari a ka boule avè l’ nan ka sa a. Si li poko marye, li lakay papa l’ toujou, men tout jan papa a ka pran sa.

Nombres 30
1 Moïse parla aux chefs des tribus des enfants d’Israël, et dit: Voici ce que l’Éternel ordonne.
2 (30:3) Lorsqu’un homme fera un voeu à l’Éternel, ou un serment pour se lier par un engagement, il ne violera point sa parole, il agira selon tout ce qui est sorti de sa bouche.
3 (30:4) Lorsqu’une femme, dans sa jeunesse et à la maison de son père, fera un voeu à l’Éternel et se liera par un engagement,
4 (30:5) et que son père aura connaissance du voeu qu’elle a fait et de l’engagement par lequel elle s’est liée, -si son père garde le silence envers elle, tout voeu qu’elle aura fait sera valable, et tout engagement par lequel elle se sera liée sera valable;
5 (30:6) mais si son père la désapprouve le jour où il en a connaissance, tous ses voeux et tous les engagements par lesquels elle se sera liée n’auront aucune valeur; et l’Éternel lui pardonnera, parce qu’elle a été désapprouvée de son père.
6 (30:7) Lorsqu’elle sera mariée, après avoir fait des voeux, ou s’être liée par une parole échappée de ses lèvres,
7 (30:8) et que son mari en aura connaissance, -s’il garde le silence envers elle le jour où il en a connaissance, ses voeux seront valables, et les engagements par lesquels elle se sera liée seront valables;
8 (30:9) mais si son mari la désapprouve le jour où il en a connaissance, il annulera le voeu qu’elle a fait et la parole échappée de ses lèvres, par laquelle elle s’est liée; et l’Éternel lui pardonnera.
9 (30:10) Le voeu d’une femme veuve ou répudiée, l’engagement quelconque par lequel elle se sera liée, sera valable pour elle.
10 (30:11) Lorsqu’une femme, dans la maison de son mari, fera des voeux ou se liera par un serment,
11 (30:12) et que son mari en aura connaissance, -s’il garde le silence envers elle et ne la désapprouve pas, tous ses voeux seront valables, et tous les engagements par lesquels elle se sera liée seront valables;
12 (30:13) mais si son mari les annule le jour où il en a connaissance, tout voeu et tout engagement sortis de ses lèvres n’auront aucune valeur, son mari les a annulés; et l’Éternel lui pardonnera.
13 (30:14) Son mari peut ratifier et son mari peut annuler tout voeu, tout serment par lequel elle s’engage à mortifier sa personne.
14 (30:15) S’il garde de jour en jour le silence envers elle, il ratifie ainsi tous les voeux ou tous les engagements par lesquels elle s’est liée; il les ratifie, parce qu’il a gardé le silence envers elle le jour où il en a eu connaissance.
15 (30:16) Mais s’il les annule après le jour où il en a eu connaissance, il sera coupable du péché de sa femme.
16 (30:17) Telles sont les lois que l’Éternel prescrivit à Moïse, entre un mari et sa femme, entre un père et sa fille, lorsqu’elle est dans sa jeunesse et à la maison de son père.

Numbers 30
1 And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded.
2 If a man vow a vow unto the Lord, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
3 If a woman also vow a vow unto the Lord, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father’s house in her youth;
4 And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.
5 But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the Lord shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.
6 And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
7 And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
8 But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the Lord shall forgive her.
9 But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
10 And if she vowed in her husband’s house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;
11 And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
12 But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the Lord shall forgive her.
13 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.
14 But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.
15 But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.
16 These are the statutes, which the Lord commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father’s house.
