Sòm 2
1 Poukisa nasyon yo ap toumante kò yo konsa? Poukisa pèp yo ap fè plan ki p’ap sèvi yo anyen?
2 Wa latè yo pran lèzam. Chèf yo mete tèt yo ansanm, y’ap fè konplo sou do Seyè a, y’ap fè konplo sou do wa li chwazi a.
3 Y’ap plede di: -Ann kase chenn yo mete nan pye nou yo! Ann voye yo jete!
4 Seyè a rete chita nan syèl la, l’ap ri. L’ap pase yo nan jwèt.
5 Apre sa, li fè kòlè, li pale ak yo. Li move sou yo, li fè kè yo kase.
6 Li di: -Se mwen menm ki mete wa mwen an sou mòn Siyon, mòn ki apa pou mwen an.
7 Wa a di: -M’ap fè nou konnen sa Seyè a deside. Li di mwen: Ou se pitit mwen. Depi jòdi a, se mwen ki papa ou.
8 Mande m’, m’a ba ou tout nasyon yo pou eritaj ou. M’a ba ou tout latè pou bitasyon ou.
9 W’ap kraze ren yo avèk yon baton fè, w’ap kraze yo an miyèt moso tankou yon kannari yo kraze.
10 Koulye a, nou menm wa yo, manyè konprann. Nou menm k’ap dirije moun sou latè, manyè koute.
11 Sèvi Seyè a avèk krentif, tranble nan tout kò nou,
12 bese tèt devan li. Si se pa sa, n’a fè l’ fache, n’a mouri, paske kòlè l’ moute fasil. Ala bon sa bon pou moun k’ap chache pwoteksyon anba zèl li!

Psaumes 2
1 Pourquoi ce tumulte parmi les nations, Ces vaines pensées parmi les peuples?
2 Pourquoi les rois de la terre se soulèvent-ils Et les princes se liguent-ils avec eux Contre l’Éternel et contre son oint? –
3 Brisons leurs liens, Délivrons-nous de leurs chaînes! –
4 Celui qui siège dans les cieux rit, Le Seigneur se moque d’eux.
5 Puis il leur parle dans sa colère, Il les épouvante dans sa fureur:
6 C’est moi qui ai oint mon roi Sur Sion, ma montagne sainte!
7 Je publierai le décret; L’Éternel m’a dit: Tu es mon fils! Je t’ai engendré aujourd’hui.
8 Demande-moi et je te donnerai les nations pour héritage, Les extrémités de la terre pour possession;
9 Tu les briseras avec une verge de fer, Tu les briseras comme le vase d’un potier.
10 Et maintenant, rois, conduisez-vous avec sagesse! Juges de la terre, recevez instruction!
11 Servez l’Éternel avec crainte, Et réjouissez-vous avec tremblement.
12 Baisez le fils, de peur qu’il ne s’irrite, Et que vous ne périssiez dans votre voie, Car sa colère est prompte à s’enflammer. Heureux tous ceux qui se confient en lui!

Psalm 2
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
