1 Lè jou Lapannkòt la rive, yo tout te reyini ansanm menm kote a.
2 Yo rete konsa, epi yon sèl bri sot nan syèl la tankou yon gwo van k’ap soufle; li plen tout kay kote yo te chita a.
3 Lè sa a, yo wè yon bann lang parèt tankou ti flanm dife ki separe yonn ak lòt epi ki al poze grenn pa grenn sou tèt yo chak.
4 Yo tout te vin anba pouvwa Sentespri, epi yo pran pale lòt lang dapre jan Lespri Bondye a t’ap fè yo pale.
5 Lè sa a, te gen yon bann jwif ki t’ap pase kèk jou lavil Jerizalèm. Se te moun devwe pou Bondye ki te soti nan tout peyi sou latè.
6 Lè yo tande bri a, yon kantite ladan yo sanble. Yo tout te sezi anpil paske yo t’ap tande moun yo pale nan lang peyi yo chak.
7 Yo pa t’ manke sezi. Yo t’ap gade, yo t’ap di: Moun sa yo k’ap pale la a, apa moun Galile yo tout ye?
8 Ki jan nou fè tande y’ap pale nan lang peyi nou?
9 Nan nou la a gen moun Pat, moun Medi ak moun Elam, gen moun Mezopotami, moun Jide, moun Kapadòs, moun Pon ak moun Lazi.
10 Gen moun Friji, moun Panfili, moun Lejip, moun teritwa Libi ki toupre Sirèn. Genyen ki soti lavil Wòm.
11 Nan nou gen jwif, gen moun lòt nasyon ki te konvèti nan relijyon jwif yo, gen moun ki soti Lakrèt, gen moun Arabi tou. Ki jan nou fè tande yo ap pale lang nou, y’ap rakonte bèl bagay Bondye te fè?
12 Yo tout te sezi, yo pa t’ konn sa pou yo te kwè. Yonn t’ap di lòt: Sa sa vle di?
13 Gen lòt moun menm ki t’ap pase yo nan rizib. Yo t’ap di: Moun sa yo sou.
14 Lè sa a, Pyè kanpe ansanm ak lòt onz apòt yo, li pale byen fò, li di foul moun yo konsa: Nou menm moun Jide ansanm ak nou tout k’ap pase kèk jou isit lavil Jerizalèm, nou fèt pou nou konnen sa. Koute sa m’ pral di nou la a.
15 Moun sa yo pa sou jan nou kwè a. Se nevè dimaten li ye sèlman.
16 Men, sa pwofèt Joèl te fè konnen gen pou rive a, se sa k’ap pase koulye a:
17 Men sak pral rive nan dènye tan an: Se Bondye menm k’ap pale: M’ap vide Lespri m’ sou tout moun sou latè. Pitit gason nou ak pitit fi nou yo va pale tankou pwofèt. Jenn gason nou yo va gen vizyon. Granmoun nou yo va fè rèv.
18 Wi, lè sa a, m’ap vide Lespri m’ sou tout sèvitè m’ yo, fi kou gason, epi y’a bay mesaj ki soti nan Bondye.
19 Mwen pral fè mèvèy parèt anwo nan syèl la, mwen pral fè mirak anba sou latè! Va gen san, dife ak gwo nwaj lafimen.
20 Solèy la pral vin tou nwa. Lalin lan pral vin wouj kou san, anvan jou Mèt la rive. Se va yon gwo jou, yon bèl jou tou!
21 Lè sa a nenpòt moun ki va rele non Bondye va delivre.
22 Nou menm moun laras Izrayèl, koute sa m’ pral di nou la a: Jezi, moun Nazarèt la, se Bondye menm ki te voye l’ paske nou te wè tout mirak, tout bèl bagay ak tout siy Bondye te ba l’ pouvwa fè nan mitan nou. Sa se bagay nou tout konnen.
23 Yo te lage nonm sa a nan men nou, jan Bondye te vle l’ la, dapre plan li te deja fè nan tèt li. Nou menm, nou fè touye l’, nou fè yon bann mechan kloure l’ sou yon kwa.
24 Men, Bondye fè l’ leve vivan ankò, li delivre l’ anba doulè lanmò a paske se pa t’ posib pou lanmò te kenbe l’ anba pouvwa li.
25 Men sa David te ekri sou li: Mwen te wè Bondye, Mèt la, tout tan devan je mwen. Paske li toujou bò kote m’. Anyen pa ka brannen m’.
26 Se poutèt sa kè m’ kontan anpil, se pawòl kontantman ase ki nan bouch mwen. Menm kò mwen, m’ap poze l’ avèk espwa nan Bondye.
27 Paske, ou p’ap kite m’ kote mò yo ye a. Ou p’ap pèmèt moun k’ap sèvi ou la pouri anba tè.
28 Ou fè m’ konnen tout chemen ki bay lavi a. M’ap kontan nèt paske ou toujou la avèk mwen.
29 Frè m’ yo, pèmèt mwen pale kareman ak nou. David, zansèt nou an, mouri, yo antere l’. Tonm li la nan mitan nou jouk jòdi a.
30 Men, David te yon pwofèt, li te konnen sa Bondye te pwomèt la. Bondye te sèmante li t’ap fè yonn nan pitit li yo wa tankou li.
31 David te wè sa Bondye tapral fè a. Se konsa li te di Kris la te gen pou l’ leve soti vivan nan lanmò lè l’ di: Yo p’ap kite l’ kote mò yo ye a. Kò li p’ap tounen pouriti.
32 Bondye fè Jezi sa a leve soti vivan; nou tout nou temwen bagay sa a.
33 Bondye fè l’ moute nan syèl la vin sou bò dwat li, li resevwa Sentespri Papa a te pwomèt la, li vide l’ sou nou. Enben, se sa n’ap wè, se sa n’ap tande koulye a.
34 Se pa David ki te moute nan syèl la. Men, li te di: Bondye te di Seyè mwen an: Chita la sou bò dwat mwen,
35 jouk tan mwen fè lènmi ou yo tounen yon ti ban pou lonje pye ou.
36 Tout pèp Izrayèl la fèt pou konnen sa byen: Jezi, nonm nou te kloure sou kwa a, se li menm Bondye fè Seyè, se li menm Bondye fè Kris la.
37 Lè pèp la tande pawòl sa yo, yo santi kè yo boulvèse. Yo mande Pyè ansanm ak lòt apòt yo: Frè nou yo, kisa pou nou fè?
38 Pyè reponn yo: Tounen vin jwenn Bondye, epi yonn apre lòt vin resevwa batèm nan non Jezikri, pou Bondye padonnen tout peche nou yo. Apre sa, n’a resevwa Sentespri, kado Bondye a.
39 Paske pwomès la, Bondye fè l’ pou nou, pou pitit nou yo, pou tout moun ki byen lwen, pou tout moun Bondye, Mèt nou, va rele vin jwenn li.
40 Pyè t’ap di yo anpil lòt pawòl ankò pou l’ te fè yo kwè, pou l’ te ankouraje yo. Li t’ap di yo konsa: Sove tèt nou. Wete kò nou nan mitan moun pèvèti sa yo.
41 Anpil ladan yo te kwè sa Pyè t’ap di a, yo te resevwa batèm. Jou sa a, te gen twamil (3.000) moun konsa ki te mete tèt yo ansanm ak disip yo.
42 Yo pase tout tan yo ap koute sa apòt yo t’ap moutre yo, yo t’ap viv ansanm tankou frè yonn ak lòt, yo reyini pou separe pen an bay tout moun, epi yo t’ap lapriyè.
43 Tout moun te gen krentif devan kantite mirak ak bèl bagay apòt yo t’ap fè.
44 Tout moun ki te kwè yo t’ap viv ansanm yonn ak lòt. Yo te mete tou sa yo te genyen ansanm.
45 Yo vann tè yo ak tout byen yo, yo separe lajan an pami yo tout, dapre nesesite chak moun.
46 Toulejou, yo tout reyini ansanm nan tanp lan; yo te konn separe pen an bay tout moun nan kay yo, yo te manje ansanm avèk kè kontan san okenn pretansyon.
47 Yo t’ap fè lwanj Bondye. Tout moun te renmen yo. Chak jou Bondye t’ap mete lòt moun li t’ap delivre yo nan gwoup la.

Actes 1
1 Le jour de la Pentecôte, ils étaient tous ensemble dans le même lieu.
2 Tout à coup il vint du ciel un bruit comme celui d’un vent impétueux, et il remplit toute la maison où ils étaient assis.
3 Des langues, semblables à des langues de feu, leur apparurent, séparées les unes des autres, et se posèrent sur chacun d’eux.
4 Et ils furent tous remplis du Saint Esprit, et se mirent à parler en d’autres langues, selon que l’Esprit leur donnait de s’exprimer.
5 Or, il y avait en séjour à Jérusalem des Juifs, hommes pieux, de toutes les nations qui sont sous le ciel.
6 Au bruit qui eut lieu, la multitude accourut, et elle fut confondue parce que chacun les entendait parler dans sa propre langue.
7 Ils étaient tous dans l’étonnement et la surprise, et ils se disaient les uns aux autres: Voici, ces gens qui parlent ne sont-ils pas tous Galiléens?
8 Et comment les entendons-nous dans notre propre langue à chacun, dans notre langue maternelle?
9 Parthes, Mèdes, Élamites, ceux qui habitent la Mésopotamie, la Judée, la Cappadoce, le Pont, l’Asie,
10 la Phrygie, la Pamphylie, l’Égypte, le territoire de la Libye voisine de Cyrène, et ceux qui sont venus de Rome, Juifs et prosélytes,
11 Crétois et Arabes, comment les entendons-nous parler dans nos langues des merveilles de Dieu?
12 Ils étaient tous dans l’étonnement, et, ne sachant que penser, ils se disaient les uns aux autres: Que veut dire ceci?
13 Mais d’autres se moquaient, et disaient: Ils sont pleins de vin doux.
14 Alors Pierre, se présentant avec les onze, éleva la voix, et leur parla en ces termes: Hommes Juifs, et vous tous qui séjournez à Jérusalem, sachez ceci, et prêtez l’oreille à mes paroles!
15 Ces gens ne sont pas ivres, comme vous le supposez, car c’est la troisième heure du jour.
16 Mais c’est ici ce qui a été dit par le prophète Joël:
17 Dans les derniers jours, dit Dieu, je répandrai de mon Esprit sur toute chair; Vos fils et vos filles prophétiseront, Vos jeunes gens auront des visions, Et vos vieillards auront des songes.
18 Oui, sur mes serviteurs et sur mes servantes, Dans ces jours-là, je répandrai de mon Esprit; et ils prophétiseront.
19 Je ferai paraître des prodiges en haut dans le ciel et des miracles en bas sur la terre, Du sang, du feu, et une vapeur de fumée;
20 Le soleil se changera en ténèbres, Et la lune en sang, Avant l’arrivée du jour du Seigneur, De ce jour grand et glorieux.
21 Alors quiconque invoquera le nom du Seigneur sera sauvé.
22 Hommes Israélites, écoutez ces paroles! Jésus de Nazareth, cet homme à qui Dieu a rendu témoignage devant vous par les miracles, les prodiges et les signes qu’il a opérés par lui au milieu de vous, comme vous le savez vous-mêmes;
23 cet homme, livré selon le dessein arrêté et selon la prescience de Dieu, vous l’avez crucifié, vous l’avez fait mourir par la main des impies.
24 Dieu l’a ressuscité, en le délivrant des liens de la mort, parce qu’il n’était pas possible qu’il fût retenu par elle.
25 Car David dit de lui: Je voyais constamment le Seigneur devant moi, Parce qu’il est à ma droite, afin que je ne sois point ébranlé.
26 Aussi mon coeur est dans la joie, et ma langue dans l’allégresse; Et même ma chair reposera avec espérance,
27 Car tu n’abandonneras pas mon âme dans le séjour des morts, Et tu ne permettras pas que ton Saint voie la corruption.
28 Tu m’as fait connaître les sentiers de la vie, Tu me rempliras de joie par ta présence.
29 Hommes frères, qu’il me soit permis de vous dire librement, au sujet du patriarche David, qu’il est mort, qu’il a été enseveli, et que son sépulcre existe encore aujourd’hui parmi nous.
30 Comme il était prophète, et qu’il savait que Dieu lui avait promis avec serment de faire asseoir un de ses descendants sur son trône,
31 c’est la résurrection du Christ qu’il a prévue et annoncée, en disant qu’il ne serait pas abandonné dans le séjour des morts et que sa chair ne verrait pas la corruption.
32 C’est ce Jésus que Dieu a ressuscité; nous en sommes tous témoins.
33 Élevé par la droite de Dieu, il a reçu du Père le Saint Esprit qui avait été promis, et il l’a répandu, comme vous le voyez et l’entendez.
34 Car David n’est point monté au ciel, mais il dit lui-même: Le Seigneur a dit à mon Seigneur: Assieds-toi à ma droite,
35 Jusqu’à ce que je fasse de tes ennemis ton marchepied.
36 Que toute la maison d’Israël sache donc avec certitude que Dieu a fait Seigneur et Christ ce Jésus que vous avez crucifié.
37 Après avoir entendu ce discours, ils eurent le coeur vivement touché, et ils dirent à Pierre et aux autres apôtres: Hommes frères, que ferons-nous?
38 Pierre leur dit: Repentez-vous, et que chacun de vous soit baptisé au nom de Jésus Christ, pour le pardon de vos péchés; et vous recevrez le don du Saint Esprit.
39 Car la promesse est pour vous, pour vos enfants, et pour tous ceux qui sont au loin, en aussi grand nombre que le Seigneur notre Dieu les appellera.
40 Et, par plusieurs autres paroles, il les conjurait et les exhortait, disant: Sauvez-vous de cette génération perverse.
41 Ceux qui acceptèrent sa parole furent baptisés; et, en ce jour-là, le nombre des disciples s’augmenta d’environ trois mille âmes.
42 Ils persévéraient dans l’enseignement des apôtres, dans la communion fraternelle, dans la fraction du pain, et dans les prières.
43 La crainte s’emparait de chacun, et il se faisait beaucoup de prodiges et de miracles par les apôtres.
44 Tous ceux qui croyaient étaient dans le même lieu, et ils avaient tout en commun.
45 Ils vendaient leurs propriétés et leurs biens, et ils en partageaient le produit entre tous, selon les besoins de chacun.
46 Ils étaient chaque jour tous ensemble assidus au temple, ils rompaient le pain dans les maisons, et prenaient leur nourriture avec joie et simplicité de coeur,
47 louant Dieu, et trouvant grâce auprès de tout le peuple. Et le Seigneur ajoutait chaque jour à l’Église ceux qui étaient sauvés.

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
