Matye 21
1 Yo t’ap pwoche bò lavil Jerizalèm, yo te gen tan rive nan bouk Betfaje, toupre mòn Oliv la. Lè sa a, Jezi voye de nan disip li yo,
2 li di yo: Ale nan bouk ki devan nou an. Kou n’a rive, n’a jwenn yon manman bourik mare, ak yon jenn ti bourik avèk li. Lage yo, mennen yo ban mwen.
3 Si yon moun di nou kichòy, n’a reponn: Se Mèt la ki bezwen yo. Menm lè a, la kite nou ale ak yo.
4 Sa te rive konsa pou pawòl pwofèt la te di a te ka rive vre:
5 Ale di moun lavil Siyon yo: Gade, men wa nou an ap vin jwenn nou. Li san lògèy, li moute yon bourik, yon ti bourik dèyè manman.
6 Disip yo ale, yo fè tou sa Jezi te bay yo lòd fè a.
7 Yo mennen manman bourik la ak jenn ti bourik la, yo mete rad yo sou bèt yo, epi Jezi moute chita.
8 Yon foul moun te tann rad yo atè sou tout chemen an. Gen lòt menm ki te koupe branch bwa, yo mete yo atè nan chemen an.
9 Ni foul moun ki t’ap mache devan Jezi a, ni moun ki t’ap mache dèyè l’ yo, yo tout t’ap rele: Lwanj pou Pitit David la! Benediksyon pou Moun ki vini nan non Mèt la. Lwanj pou Bondye jouk anwo nan syèl la!
10 Lè Jezi antre lavil Jerizalèm, tout lavil la te tèt anba. Moun yo t’ap mande: Ki moun nonm sa a ye menm?
11 Foul moun yo menm t’ap reponn yo: Se pwofèt Jezi, moun Nazarèt nan peyi Galile a.
12 Jezi antre nan tanp Bondye a, li chase tout moun ki t’ap vann ak tout moun ki t’ap achte nan tanp lan. Li chavire tab moun ki t’ap chanje lajan yo ansanm ak chèz moun ki t’ap vann pijon yo.
13 Apre sa, li di yo; Men sa ki ekri: y’a rele kay mwen an kay kote pou moun vin lapriyè nan pye m’. Men nou menm, nou fè l’ tounen yon kachèt pou vòlè.
14 Kèk avèg ak kèk enfim nan pye pwoche bò kote Jezi nan tanp lan. Li geri yo.
15 Men, chèf prèt yo ak dirèktè lalwa yo te fache anpil lè yo wè bèl bagay li t’ap fè, lè yo tande timoun yo ki t’ap rele nan tanp lan: Lwanj pou Pitit David la!
16 Yo di Jezi konsa: Eske ou pa tande sa y’ap di? Jezi reponn yo: M’ tande wi. Eske nou pa janm li pawòl sa a nan Liv la: Ou fè timoun piti ak tibebe nan tete fè gwo lwanj pou ou?
17 Apre sa, li kite yo, li soti lavil la, li ale Betani. Se la li pase nwit lan.
18 Nan denmen maten, antan yo t’ap tounen lavil Jerizalèm, Jezi te grangou.
19 Li wè yon pye fig frans bò wout la, li pwoche bò kote l’. Men se fèy ase li jwenn. Lè sa a, Jezi di pye fig frans lan: Ou p’ap janm donnen ankò. Menm lè a, pye fig frans lan cheche.
20 Lè disip yo wè sa, yo pa t’ manke sezi, yo di li: Kouman pye fig frans lan fè vin chèch nan yon ti moman?
21 Jezi reponn yo: Sa m’ap di nou la a, se vre wi: Si nou te gen konfyans nan Bondye, si nou pa t’ gen doutans nan kè nou, se pa sèlman sak rive pye fig frans lan nou ta fè. Men, nou ta ka di mòn sa a: Wete kò ou la. Ale jete tèt ou nan lanmè. Sa ta fèt vre.
22 Si nou gen konfyans nan Bondye, n’a resevwa tou sa n’a mande l’ lè n’ap lapriyè.
23 Jezi antre nan tanp lan, li t’ap moutre moun yo anpil bagay. Chèf prèt yo avèk chèf fanmi ki t’ap dirije pèp jwif la vin di li: Ki dwa ou genyen pou w’ap fè tout bagay sa yo? Kilès ki ba ou otorite sa a?
24 Jezi reponn yo: M’ap poze nou yon keksyon mwen menm tou. Si nou reponn mwen, m’a di nou ki dwa mwen genyen pou m’ fè bagay sa yo.
25 Ki moun ki te voye Jan batize moun? Bondye osinon moun? Men, yonn t’ap di lòt konsa: Si nou reponn: Se Bondye ki te voye l’, la mande nou poukisa nou pa t’ kwè l’.
26 Si nou reponn: Se moun ki te voye l’, afè nou p’ap bon ak foul moun yo, paske yo tout te pran Jan Batis pou yon bon pwofèt.
27 Apre sa, yo reponn Jezi: Nou pa konnen. Jezi di yo: Enben, mwen menm tou, mwen p’ap di nou ki dwa mwen genyen pou m’ fè bagay sa yo.
28 Sa nou konprann nan sa? Vwala se te yon nonm ki te gen de pitit gason. Li pale ak pi gran an, li di l’: Pitit mwen, jòdi a al travay nan jaden rezen an.
29 Pitit la reponn li: Non, mwen pa vle! Men, pita li chanje lide, li ale.
30 Apre sa, papa a pale ak lòt pi piti a, li di l’ menm bagay la. Pi piti a reponn li: Wi, papa. Men, li pa janm mete pye li.
31 Kilès nan de pitit yo ki fè volonte papa a? Yo reponn li: Pi gran an. Lè sa a, Jezi di yo: Sa m’ap di nou la a, se vre wi: Pèseptè kontribisyon ak fanm movèz vi yo va antre nan Peyi kote Bondye wa a anvan nou.
32 Paske, lè Jan Batis te vin bò kote nou, lè li t’ap moutre nou jan pou nou viv dwat devan Bondye a, nou pa t’ kwè li. Men, pèseptè kontribisyon ak fanm movèz vi yo te kwè li. Malgre nou te wè sa, nou pa t’ chanje lide nou pou n’ te kwè nan li tou.
33 Koute yon lòt parabòl. Vwala se te yon nonm ki te gen anpil tè. Li plante yon jaden rezen. Li fèmen l’ ak yon lantouraj, li fouye yon basen pou krase rezen yo. Li bati yon kay pou moun k’ap veye jaden an. Apre sa, li antann li avèk kèk moun pou okipe jaden an pou li, lèfini li pati, li al nan vwayaj.
34 Lè sezon rekòt rezen an rive, li voye domestik li yo chache rezen pa l’ bò kote jeran yo.
35 Jeran yo mete men sou domestik yo, yo bat yonn byen bat, yo touye yon lòt, yo touye yon twazyèm ak kout wòch.
36 Mèt jaden an voye lòt domestik ankò, pi plis pase premye fwa a. Jeran yo maltrete yo menm jan an.
37 Apre sa, li voye pwòp pitit gason l’ bò kote yo andènye. Li t’ap di nan kè l’: Omwens y’a gen respè pou pitit mwen an.
38 Men, lè jeran yo wè pitit la, yonn di lòt: Men eritye a. Vini non, ann touye li. Konsa, jaden an va vin pou nou.
39 Yo mete men sou li, yo jete l’ lòt bò jaden an, yo touye li.
40 Bon, lè mèt jaden rezen an vini, kisa li va fè jeran sa yo?
41 Yo reponn li: Li p’ap gen pitye pou yo. La fè touye malveyan sa yo, la pran jaden rezen an bay lòt jeran ki va ba l’ pòsyon pa l’ nan rekòt la lè sezon an va rive.
42 Apre sa, Jezi di yo: Eske nou pa janm li pawòl sa yo nan Liv la? Wòch moun ki t’ap bati yo te voye jete a, se li menm ki tounen wòch ki kenbe kay la. Sa se travay Mèt la. Se bèl bagay pou nou wè sa.
43 Se poutèt sa mwen di nou: y’a wete Peyi kote Bondye Wa a nan men nou, y’a pran l’ bay moun yon lòt nasyon ki va bay rannman pou Peyi Wa a.
44 Moun ki bite sou wòch sa a gen pou kase ren li. Men, si se wòch la menm ki tonbe sou li, li gen pou l’ kraze l’ an miyèt moso.
45 Lè chèf prèt yo ak farizyen yo tande parabòl sa yo, yo vin konprann se pou yo Jezi t’ap pale.
46 Lè sa a, yo t’ap chache yon jan pou mete men sou li. Men, yo te pè foul moun yo ki te pran Jezi pou yon bon pwofèt.

1 Lorsqu’ils approchèrent de Jérusalem, et qu’ils furent arrivés à Bethphagé, vers la montagne des Oliviers, Jésus envoya deux disciples,
2 en leur disant: Allez au village qui est devant vous; vous trouverez aussitôt une ânesse attachée, et un ânon avec elle; détachez-les, et amenez-les-moi.
3 Si, quelqu’un vous dit quelque chose, vous répondrez: Le Seigneur en a besoin. Et à l’instant il les laissera aller.
4 Or, ceci arriva afin que s’accomplît ce qui avait été annoncé par le prophète:
5 Dites à la fille de Sion: Voici, ton roi vient à toi, Plein de douceur, et monté sur un âne, Sur un ânon, le petit d’une ânesse.
6 Les disciples allèrent, et firent ce que Jésus leur avait ordonné.
7 Ils amenèrent l’ânesse et l’ânon, mirent sur eux leurs vêtements, et le firent asseoir dessus.
8 La plupart des gens de la foule étendirent leurs vêtements sur le chemin; d’autres coupèrent des branches d’arbres, et en jonchèrent la route.
9 Ceux qui précédaient et ceux qui suivaient Jésus criaient: Hosanna au Fils de David! Béni soit celui qui vient au nom du Seigneur! Hosanna dans les lieux très hauts!
10 Lorsqu’il entra dans Jérusalem, toute la ville fut émue, et l’on disait: Qui est celui-ci?
11 La foule répondait: C’est Jésus, le prophète, de Nazareth en Galilée.
12 Jésus entra dans le temple de Dieu. Il chassa tous ceux qui vendaient et qui achetaient dans le temple; il renversa les tables des changeurs, et les sièges des vendeurs de pigeons.
13 Et il leur dit: Il est écrit: Ma maison sera appelée une maison de prière. Mais vous, vous en faites une caverne de voleurs.
14 Des aveugles et des boiteux s’approchèrent de lui dans le temple. Et il les guérit.
15 Mais les principaux sacrificateurs et les scribes furent indignés, à la vue des choses merveilleuses qu’il avait faites, et des enfants qui criaient dans le temple: Hosanna au Fils de David!
16 Ils lui dirent: Entends-tu ce qu’ils disent? Oui, leur répondit Jésus. N’avez-vous jamais lu ces paroles: Tu as tiré des louanges de la bouche des enfants et de ceux qui sont à la mamelle?
17 Et, les ayant laissés, il sortit de la ville pour aller à Béthanie, où il passa la nuit.
18 Le matin, en retournant à la ville, il eut faim.
19 Voyant un figuier sur le chemin, il s’en approcha; mais il n’y trouva que des feuilles, et il lui dit: Que jamais fruit ne naisse de toi! Et à l’instant le figuier sécha.
20 Les disciples, qui virent cela, furent étonnés, et dirent: Comment ce figuier est-il devenu sec en un instant?
21 Jésus leur répondit: Je vous le dis en vérité, si vous aviez de la foi et que vous ne doutiez point, non seulement vous feriez ce qui a été fait à ce figuier, mais quand vous diriez à cette montagne: Ote-toi de là et jette-toi dans la mer, cela se ferait.
22 Tout ce que vous demanderez avec foi par la prière, vous le recevrez.
23 Jésus se rendit dans le temple, et, pendant qu’il enseignait, les principaux sacrificateurs et les anciens du peuple vinrent lui dire: Par quelle autorité fais-tu ces choses, et qui t’a donné cette autorité?
24 Jésus leur répondit: Je vous adresserai aussi une question; et, si vous m’y répondez, je vous dirai par quelle autorité je fais ces choses.
25 Le baptême de Jean, d’où venait-il? du ciel, ou des hommes? Mais ils raisonnèrent ainsi entre eux; Si nous répondons: Du ciel, il nous dira: Pourquoi donc n’avez-vous pas cru en lui?
26 Et si nous répondons: Des hommes, nous avons à craindre la foule, car tous tiennent Jean pour un prophète.
27 Alors ils répondirent à Jésus: Nous ne savons. Et il leur dit à son tour: Moi non plus, je ne vous dirai pas par quelle autorité je fais ces choses.
28 Que vous en semble? Un homme avait deux fils; et, s’adressant au premier, il dit: Mon enfant, va travailler aujourd’hui dans ma vigne.
29 Il répondit: Je ne veux pas. Ensuite, il se repentit, et il alla.
30 S’adressant à l’autre, il dit la même chose. Et ce fils répondit: Je veux bien, seigneur. Et il n’alla pas.
31 Lequel des deux a fait la volonté du père? Ils répondirent: Le premier. Et Jésus leur dit: Je vous le dis en vérité, les publicains et les prostituées vous devanceront dans le royaume de Dieu.
32 Car Jean est venu à vous dans la voie de la justice, et vous n’avez pas cru en lui. Mais les publicains et les prostituées ont cru en lui; et vous, qui avez vu cela, vous ne vous êtes pas ensuite repentis pour croire en lui.
33 Écoutez une autre parabole. Il y avait un homme, maître de maison, qui planta une vigne. Il l’entoura d’une haie, y creusa un pressoir, et bâtit une tour; puis il l’afferma à des vignerons, et quitta le pays.
34 Lorsque le temps de la récolte fut arrivé, il envoya ses serviteurs vers les vignerons, pour recevoir le produit de sa vigne.
35 Les vignerons, s’étant saisis de ses serviteurs, battirent l’un, tuèrent l’autre, et lapidèrent le troisième.
36 Il envoya encore d’autres serviteurs, en plus grand nombre que les premiers; et les vignerons les traitèrent de la même manière.
37 Enfin, il envoya vers eux son fils, en disant: Ils auront du respect pour mon fils.
38 Mais, quand les vignerons virent le fils, ils dirent entre eux: Voici l’héritier; venez, tuons-le, et emparons-nous de son héritage.
39 Et ils se saisirent de lui, le jetèrent hors de la vigne, et le tuèrent.
40 Maintenant, lorsque le maître de la vigne viendra, que fera-t-il à ces vignerons?
41 Ils lui répondirent: Il fera périr misérablement ces misérables, et il affermera la vigne à d’autres vignerons, qui lui en donneront le produit au temps de la récolte.
42 Jésus leur dit: N’avez-vous jamais lu dans les Écritures: La pierre qu’ont rejetée ceux qui bâtissaient Est devenue la principale de l’angle; C’est du Seigneur que cela est venu, Et c’est un prodige à nos yeux?
43 C’est pourquoi, je vous le dis, le royaume de Dieu vous sera enlevé, et sera donné à une nation qui en rendra les fruits.
44 Celui qui tombera sur cette pierre s’y brisera, et celui sur qui elle tombera sera écrasé.
45 Après avoir entendu ses paraboles, les principaux sacrificateurs et les pharisiens comprirent que c’était d’eux que Jésus parlait,
46 et ils cherchaient à se saisir de lui; mais ils craignaient la foule, parce qu’elle le tenait pour un prophète.

1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,
2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.
4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,
5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,
7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.
8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.
9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.
12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.
15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased,
16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
17 And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.
18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.
19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?
24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?
26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.
27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.
29 He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.
30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.
31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.
33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.
35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.
37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.
38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.
39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.
40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.
