2 Jezi reponn yo: Gen lè nou kwè se paske moun sa yo te fè pi gwo peche pase lòt moun Galile yo kifè yo te masakre yo konsa?
3 Mwen di nou: Non. Men, si nou menm nou pa tounen vin jwenn Bondye, nou tout n’ap peri menm jan an tou.
4 Dizwit moun ki te mouri kraze lè gwo kay Siloe a te tonbe sou yo a, gen lè nou kwè yo te pi koupab pase tout lòt moun nan lavil Jerizalèm yo?
5 Mwen di nou: Non. Men, si nou menm nou pa tounen vin jwenn Bondye, nou tout n’ap peri menm jan an tou.
6 Apre sa, Jezi di yo parabòl sa a: Yon nonm te gen yon pye fig frans plante nan jaden rezen li. Li vin chache fig frans ladan l’, men li pa jwenn.
7 Lè sa a, li di jeran jaden an: Sa fè twazan depi m’ap vin chache fig nan pye fig frans sa a, mwen pa ka jwenn anyen. Koupe li non. Poukisa pou l’ pran tout plas sa a nan tè a pou gremesi?
8 Men, jeran an reponn li: Mèt, kite l’ fè lanne sa a ankò. Mwen pral fouye yon twou fè wonn nan pye l’, m’ap mete fimye ladan li.
9 Konsa, li ka donnen. Si l’ pa donnen, wa fè koupe l’ lòt lanne.
10 Yon jou repo, Jezi t’ap moutre moun yo anpil bagay nan yon sinagòg.
11 Te gen yon fanm nan sinagòg la ki te malad. Depi dizwitan li te gen yon move lespri sou li ki te fè l’ rete kokobe; li pa t’ kapab kanpe dwat menm.
12 Lè Jezi wè l’, li rele l’, li di li: Mafi, ou delivre anba enfimite ou la tande.
13 Jezi lonje men l’ sou li. Latou fanm lan kanpe dwat, li pran fè lwanj Bondye.
14 Men, chèf sinagòg la pa t’ kontan menm paske Jezi te fè gerizon an yon jou repo. Li pran lapawòl, li di foul la: Nou gen sis jou pou nou travay, vin fè yo geri nou jou sa yo. Pa vini jou repo a.
15 Jezi reponn li: Ala ou ipokrit! Jou repo a, nou tout nou lage bèf nou ak bourik nou nan kay kote nou gade yo a, nou mennen yo al bwè dlo, pa vre?
16 Bon, fanm sa a, moun ras Abraram, ki gen dizwitan depi Satan mare l’ anba yon maladi, mwen pa t’ dwe delivre l’ yon jou repo?
17 Repons Jezi te ba yo a te fè tout moun ki pa t’ vle wè l’ yo wont. Men, tout moun nan foul la te kontan pou tout bèl mèvèy li t’ap fè yo.
18 Jezi di yo: Ak ki bagay peyi kote Bondye Wa a sanble? Kisa m’ ta di l’ sanble ankò?
19 Li tankou yon ti grenn moutad yon nonm pran pou li al simen nan jaden li. Li pouse, li vin yon pyebwa. Se konsa zwezo nan syèl la fè nich nan branch li yo.
20 Jezi di yo ankò: Ak kisa pou m’ konpare peyi kote Bondye Wa a?
21 Li tankou ledven yon fanm pran li mete nan twa mezi farin pou fè tout pa t’ la leve.
22 Jezi t’ap moute lavil Jerizalèm, li t’ap pase nan anpil lavil ak anpil bouk. Sou tout wout la, li t’ap moutre moun yo anpil bagay.
23 Yon moun mande li: Mèt, èske se de twa moun sèlman k’ap sove? Li reponn yo:
24 Fè jefò pou n’ antre nan pòt jis la; paske, m’ap di nou sa, anpil moun va seye antre, yo p’ap kapab.
25 Mèt kay la gen pou l’ leve fèmen pòt la; lè sa a, nou menm n’a deyò. N’a kòmanse frape nan pòt la; n’a di: Mèt, Mèt, louvri pou nou! La reponn nou: Mwen pa konnen ki bò nou soti.
26 Lè sa a n’a di: Nou te manje, nou te bwè ansanm avè ou, ou te moutre nou anpil bagay nan tout lari lakay nou.
27 Men, la reponn nou: Mwen di nou, mwen pa konnen ki bò nou soti. Wete kò nou sou mwen, nou tout k’ap fè sa ki mal.
28 Lè n’a wè Abraram, Izarak, Jakòb ak tout pwofèt yo nan bèl peyi kote Bondye Wa a, epi nou menm nou deyò, se lè sa a va gen rèl, se lè sa a moun va manje dan yo.
29 Moun va soti nan peyi solèy leve ak nan peyi solèy kouche, y’a soti nan nò ak nan sid, y’a chita sou tab nan bèl peyi kote Bondye Wa a.
30 Lè sa a, nan moun ki dèyè nèt koulye a, genyen k’ap pase devan. Nan moun ki devan koulye a, genyen k’ap rete dèyè.
31 Menm lè sa a, kèk farizyen pwoche bò kot Jezi, yo di li: Pa rete isit la, ale yon lòt kote, paske Ewòd vle touye ou.
32 Li reponn yo: Ale di chat mawon an: m’ap chase move lespri yo, m’ap geri moun malad jòdi a ak denmen, nan twa jou m’ap fin travay mwen.
33 Men, fòk mwen kontinye mache jòdi a, denmen ak apre denmen tou, paske sa pa bon pou yo touye yon pwofèt lòt kote pase nan lavil Jerizalèm.
34 Jerizalèm, Jerizalèm, ou menm k’ap touye pwofèt yo, k’ap touye moun Bondye voye ba ou yo ak kout wòch, depi lontan mwen te vle sanble moun ou yo tankou yon manman poul sanble ti pitit li yo anba zèl li, men ou pa t’ vle!
35 Enben, kay ou yo va rete san moun. M’ap di ou sa: nou p’ap wè m’ ankò, jouk lè a va rive pou nou di: benediksyon pou moun ki vini nan non Mèt la.

1 En ce même temps, quelques personnes qui se trouvaient là racontaient à Jésus ce qui était arrivé à des Galiléens dont Pilate avait mêlé le sang avec celui de leurs sacrifices.
2 Il leur répondit: Croyez-vous que ces Galiléens fussent de plus grands pécheurs que tous les autres Galiléens, parce qu’ils ont souffert de la sorte?
3 Non, je vous le dis. Mais si vous ne vous repentez, vous périrez tous également.
4 Ou bien, ces dix-huit personnes sur qui est tombée la tour de Siloé et qu’elle a tuées, croyez-vous qu’elles fussent plus coupables que tous les autres habitants de Jérusalem?
5 Non, je vous le dis. Mais si vous ne vous repentez, vous périrez tous également.
6 Il dit aussi cette parabole: Un homme avait un figuier planté dans sa vigne. Il vint pour y chercher du fruit, et il n’en trouva point.
7 Alors il dit au vigneron: Voilà trois ans que je viens chercher du fruit à ce figuier, et je n’en trouve point. Coupe-le: pourquoi occupe-t-il la terre inutilement?
8 Le vigneron lui répondit: Seigneur, laisse-le encore cette année; je creuserai tout autour, et j’y mettrai du fumier.
9 Peut-être à l’avenir donnera-t-il du fruit; sinon, tu le couperas.
10 Jésus enseignait dans une des synagogues, le jour du sabbat.
11 Et voici, il y avait là une femme possédée d’un esprit qui la rendait infirme depuis dix-huit ans; elle était courbée, et ne pouvait pas du tout se redresser.
12 Lorsqu’il la vit, Jésus lui adressa la parole, et lui dit: Femme, tu es délivrée de ton infirmité.
13 Et il lui imposa les mains. A l’instant elle se redressa, et glorifia Dieu.
14 Mais le chef de la synagogue, indigné de ce que Jésus avait opéré cette guérison un jour de sabbat, dit à la foule: Il y a six jours pour travailler; venez donc vous faire guérir ces jours-là, et non pas le jour du sabbat.
15 Hypocrites! lui répondit le Seigneur, est-ce que chacun de vous, le jour du sabbat, ne détache pas de la crèche son boeuf ou son âne, pour le mener boire?
16 Et cette femme, qui est une fille d’Abraham, et que Satan tenait liée depuis dix-huit ans, ne fallait-il pas la délivrer de cette chaîne le jour du sabbat?
17 Tandis qu’il parlait ainsi, tous ses adversaires étaient confus, et la foule se réjouissait de toutes les choses glorieuses qu’il faisait.
18 Il dit encore: A quoi le royaume de Dieu est-il semblable, et à quoi le comparerai-je?
19 Il est semblable à un grain de sénevé qu’un homme a pris et jeté dans son jardin; il pousse, devient un arbre, et les oiseaux du ciel habitent dans ses branches.
20 Il dit encore: A quoi comparerai-je le royaume de Dieu?
21 Il est semblable à du levain qu’une femme a pris et mis dans trois mesures de farine, pour faire lever toute la pâte.
22 Jésus traversait les villes et les villages, enseignant, et faisant route vers Jérusalem.
23 Quelqu’un lui dit: Seigneur, n’y a-t-il que peu de gens qui soient sauvés? Il leur répondit:
24 Efforcez-vous d’entrer par la porte étroite. Car, je vous le dis, beaucoup chercheront à entrer, et ne le pourront pas.
25 Quand le maître de la maison se sera levé et aura fermé la porte, et que vous, étant dehors, vous commencerez à frapper à la porte, en disant: Seigneur, Seigneur, ouvre-nous! il vous répondra: Je ne sais d’où vous êtes.
26 Alors vous vous mettrez à dire: Nous avons mangé et bu devant toi, et tu as enseigné dans nos rues.
27 Et il répondra: Je vous le dis, je ne sais d’où vous êtes; retirez-vous de moi, vous tous, ouvriers d’iniquité.
28 C’est là qu’il y aura des pleurs et des grincements de dents, quand vous verrez Abraham, Isaac et Jacob, et tous les prophètes, dans le royaume de Dieu, et que vous serez jetés dehors.
29 Il en viendra de l’orient et de l’occident, du nord et du midi; et ils se mettront à table dans le royaume de Dieu.
30 Et voici, il y en a des derniers qui seront les premiers, et des premiers qui seront les derniers.
31 Ce même jour, quelques pharisiens vinrent lui dire: Va-t’en, pars d’ici, car Hérode veut te tuer.
32 Il leur répondit: Allez, et dites à ce renard: Voici, je chasse les démons et je fais des guérisons aujourd’hui et demain, et le troisième jour j’aurai fini.
33 Mais il faut que je marche aujourd’hui, demain, et le jour suivant; car il ne convient pas qu’un prophète périsse hors de Jérusalem.
34 Jérusalem, Jérusalem, qui tues les prophètes et qui lapides ceux qui te sont envoyés, combien de fois ai-je voulu rassembler tes enfants, comme une poule rassemble sa couvée sous ses ailes, et vous ne l’avez pas voulu!
35 Voici, votre maison vous sera laissée; mais, je vous le dis, vous ne me verrez plus, jusqu’à ce que vous disiez: Béni soit celui qui vient au nom du Seigneur!

1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
18 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?
19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.
20 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?
21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
22 And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.
23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.
33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
