1 Lwanj pou Seyè a! Fè konnen jan li gen pouvwa! Fè nasyon yo konnen sa li fè!
2 Chante pou li! Fè lwanj li! Rakonte tout mèvèy li te fè yo!
3 Fè kè nou kontan paske se moun pa l’ nou ye. Wi, se pou tout moun k’ap sèvi Seyè a fè fèt!
4 Ale jwenn Seyè a pou l’ ka ede nou, toujou chache rete devan li.

6 Nou menm, pitit pitit Abraram, sèvitè Bondye, nou menm, pitit pitit Jakòb yo, nou menm Bondye chwazi, chonje mirak ak mèvèy li te fè. Chonje jijman ki te soti nan bouch li!
7 Seyè a se Bondye nou li ye. Lè li pase yon lòd se pou tout latè.
8 -(we vèsè pwochen)
9 L’ap toujou chonje kontra li te pase ak Abraram. L’ap kenbe pwomès li, pwomès li fè Izarak la pou tout tan tout tan.
10 Sa li te pwomèt Abraram lan, li fè l’ tounen yon lwa pou pitit Jakòb yo, yon kontra ak pèp Izrayèl la pou tout tan.
11 Li te di: -M’ap ba ou peyi Kanaran an pou pòsyon ki rele ou pa ou nan byen m’ yo.
12 Lè sa a, pèp Bondye a pa t’ anpil, yo te sèlman yon ti ponyen moun, yo te tankou etranje toujou nan peyi a.
13 Yo t’ap mache ale vini nan tout nasyon yo, yo t’ap soti nan yon peyi ale nan yon lòt.
14 Men, li pa t’ kite pesonn maltrete yo. Li te menm rive pini anpil wa poutèt yo.
15 Li te di: Piga nou manyen moun mwen chwazi yo. Piga nou fè pwofèt mwen yo anyen.
16 Lè Seyè a te voye yon grangou sou peyi yo a, lè li te koupe tout viv yo,
17 li te voye Jozèf devan yo, menm Jozèf yo te vann tankou esklav la.
18 Yo te mete pye l’ nan sèp, yo te pase yon chenn nan kou li,
19 jouk sa li te di a te rive vre. Konsa, pawòl Seyè a te fè wè se Jozèf ki te gen rezon.
20 Wa peyi Lejip la te wete l’ nan chenn yo, chèf nasyon yo te fè lage l’.
21 Li mete l’ chèf sou tout moun lakay li, li mete l’ pou l’ gouvènen tout peyi a.
22 Li ba li kat blanch sou tout chèf yo, li ba li otorite pou l’ moutre notab yo sa pou yo fè.
23 Apre sa, Jakòb te desann nan peyi Lejip ansanm ak tout pitit li yo. Li pase kèk tan nan peyi pitit Kam yo.
24 Seyè a te fè pèp li a peple anpil. Li te fè l’ vin pi fò pase lènmi l’ yo.
25 Li fè moun peyi Lejip yo rayi pèp li a: Yo aji mal ak li, yo twonpe li.
26 Lè sa a, li voye Moyiz, yon moun ki t’ap sèvi l’, ansanm ak Arawon, yon moun li te chwazi.
27 Avèk pouvwa li, yo te fè mèvèy nan peyi pitit Kam yo. Yo te fè anpil mirak nan peyi Lejip.
28 Li voye fènwa kouvri tout peyi a. Men, moun peyi Lejip yo pa t’ koute sa l’ te di yo.
29 Li fè dlo larivyè yo tounen san, li touye tout pwason ladan yo.
30 Krapo te pran tout peyi a pou yo, yo te rive jouk anndan kay wa a.
31 Bondye annik pale, mouchavè ak vèmin parèt, yo kouvri tout peyi a.
32 Li pa ba yo lapli, li voye lagrèl pito ak kout zèklè sou peyi a.
33 Li te detwi tout pye rezen ak tout pye figfrans yo. Li jete tout pyebwa nan peyi a atè.
34 Bondye annik pale, chwalbwa parèt, chini vide an kantite.
35 Yo devore tout ti plant nan peyi a, yo manje tout rekòt nan jaden yo.
36 Bondye touye premye pitit gason nan tout fanmi nan peyi Lejip la. Wi, li touye tout premye pitit gason yo.
37 Apre sa, li fè pèp Izrayèl la pati avèk kantite lò ak ajan. Anyen pa t’ rive yo yonn menm.
38 Moun peyi Lejip yo te fè fèt lè yo pati paske yo te pè anpil.
39 Seyè a mete yon nwaj pou pwoteje yo lajounen, yon dife pou klere yo lannwit.
40 Yo mande l’ vyann, li ba yo zòtolan. Li ba yo pen ki soti nan syèl pou plen vant yo.
41 Li fann yon gwo wòch, sous dlo pete, dlo pran koule nan dezè a tankou larivyè.
42 Li te chonje pwomès li te fè a, pawòl li te bay Abraram, sèvitè l’ la.
43 Se konsa li te fè pèp li a soti ak kè kontan, li te fè pèp li te chwazi a rele sitèlman yo te kontan.
44 Li ba yo tè lòt nasyon yo, li kite yo ranmase rekòt jaden lòt moun,
45 pou pèp li a te ka kenbe lòd li yo, pou yo te ka obeyi kòmandman li yo. Lwanj pou Seyè a!

Psaumes 105
1 Louez l’Éternel, invoquez son nom! Faites connaître parmi les peuples ses hauts faits!
2 Chantez, chantez en son honneur! Parlez de toutes ses merveilles!
3 Glorifiez-vous de son saint nom! Que le coeur de ceux qui cherchent l’Éternel se réjouisse!
4 Ayez recours à l’Éternel et à son appui, Cherchez continuellement sa face!
5 Souvenez-vous des prodiges qu’il a faits, De ses miracles et des jugements de sa bouche,
6 Postérité d’Abraham, son serviteur, Enfants de Jacob, ses élus!
7 L’Éternel est notre Dieu; Ses jugements s’exercent sur toute la terre.
8 Il se rappelle à toujours son alliance, Ses promesses pour mille générations,
9 L’alliance qu’il a traitée avec Abraham, Et le serment qu’il a fait à Isaac;
10 Il l’a érigée pour Jacob en loi, Pour Israël en alliance éternelle,
11 Disant: Je te donnerai le pays de Canaan Comme héritage qui vous est échu.
12 Ils étaient alors peu nombreux, Très peu nombreux, et étrangers dans le pays,
13 Et ils allaient d’une nation à l’autre Et d’un royaume vers un autre peuple;
14 Mais il ne permit à personne de les opprimer, Et il châtia des rois à cause d’eux:
15 Ne touchez pas à mes oints, Et ne faites pas de mal à mes prophètes!
16 Il appela sur le pays la famine, Il coupa tout moyen de subsistance.
17 Il envoya devant eux un homme: Joseph fut vendu comme esclave.
18 On serra ses pieds dans des liens, On le mit aux fers,
19 Jusqu’au temps où arriva ce qu’il avait annoncé, Et où la parole de l’Éternel l’éprouva.
20 Le roi fit ôter ses liens, Le dominateur des peuples le délivra.
21 Il l’établit seigneur sur sa maison, Et gouverneur de tous ses biens,
22 Afin qu’il pût à son gré enchaîner ses princes, Et qu’il enseignât la sagesse à ses anciens.
23 Alors Israël vint en Égypte, Et Jacob séjourna dans le pays de Cham.
24 Il rendit son peuple très fécond, Et plus puissant que ses adversaires.
25 Il changea leur coeur, au point qu’ils haïrent son peuple Et qu’ils traitèrent ses serviteurs avec perfidie.
26 Il envoya Moïse, son serviteur, Et Aaron, qu’il avait choisi.
27 Ils accomplirent par son pouvoir des prodiges au milieu d’eux, Ils firent des miracles dans le pays de Cham.
28 Il envoya des ténèbres et amena l’obscurité, Et ils ne furent pas rebelles à sa parole.
29 Il changea leurs eaux en sang, Et fit périr leurs poissons.
30 Le pays fourmilla de grenouilles, Jusque dans les chambres de leurs rois.
31 Il dit, et parurent les mouches venimeuses, Les poux sur tout leur territoire.
32 Il leur donna pour pluie de la grêle, Des flammes de feu dans leur pays.
33 Il frappa leurs vignes et leurs figuiers, Et brisa les arbres de leur contrée.
34 Il dit, et parurent les sauterelles, Des sauterelles sans nombre,
35 Qui dévorèrent toute l’herbe du pays, Qui dévorèrent les fruits de leurs champs.
36 Il frappa tous les premiers-nés dans leur pays, Toutes les prémices de leur force.
37 Il fit sortir son peuple avec de l’argent et de l’or, Et nul ne chancela parmi ses tribus.
38 Les Égyptiens se réjouirent de leur départ, Car la terreur qu’ils avaient d’eux les saisissait.
39 Il étendit la nuée pour les couvrir, Et le feu pour éclairer la nuit.
40 A leur demande, il fit venir des cailles, Et il les rassasia du pain du ciel.
41 Il ouvrit le rocher, et des eaux coulèrent; Elles se répandirent comme un fleuve dans les lieux arides.
42 Car il se souvint de sa parole sainte, Et d’Abraham, son serviteur.
43 Il fit sortir son peuple dans l’allégresse, Ses élus au milieu des cris de joie.
44 Il leur donna les terres des nations, Et ils possédèrent le fruit du travail des peuples,
45 Afin qu’ils gardassent ses ordonnances, Et qu’ils observassent ses lois. Louez l’Éternel!

Psalm 105
1 O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.
4 Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
7 He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
12 When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
14 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.
20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
26 He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
27 They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30 Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
31 He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
33 He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
34 He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
35 And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
36 He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
40 The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the Lord.
