Sòm 84
1 Pou chèf sanba yo. Se sou lè yon chante yo chante lè y’ap kraze rezen. Se yon sòm pitit Kore yo. Ala bèl kay ou a bèl, Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa!
2 Jan mwen anvi wè kay Seyè a sa! M’ap deperi sitèlman m’ anvi al lakay Seyè a. M’ap chante, m’ap fè fèt pou Bondye vivan an.
3 Menm ti zwezo jwenn kote pou yo rete, menm iwondèl jwenn nich pou mete pitit yo: Se toupre lotèl ou yo, Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa, ou menm ki Bondye mwen, ou menm ki wa mwen!
4 Ala bon sa bon pou moun k’ap viv lakay ou yo! Yo toujou ap fè lwanj ou.
5 Ala bon sa bon pou moun ki mete konfyans yo nan ou, pou moun ki fè lide ale sou Mòn Siyon an!
6 Lè y’ap pase nan mitan Fon Sèk la, yo fè l’ tounen yon kote ki plen sous dlo. Anvan yon ti lapli tonbe, tout jaden bèl.
7 Plis y’ap mache, se plis y’ap gen fòs. Yo gen pou yo parèt devan Bondye sou mòn Siyon an.
8 Seyè, Bondye ki gen tout pouvwa a, koute lapriyè mwen. Bondye Jakòb la, panche zòrèy ou pou tande m’.
9 Bondye, ou menm ki tout pwoteksyon nou, voye benediksyon ou sou wa ou te chwazi pou nou an!
10 Yon jou pase anndan lakay ou pi bon pase mil jou pase nenpòt lòt kote. Mwen ta pito rete kanpe nan papòt kay Bondye a pase pou m’ ta rete anndan kay mechan yo.
11 Paske, se Seyè a ki tout defans mwen, se li menm k’ap pwoteje nou. L’ap ban nou favè li, l’ap fè yo respekte nou. Lè yon moun ap mennen yon vi ki san repwòch, Bondye p’ap janm refize l’ okenn bon bagay.
12 Bondye ki gen tout pouvwa, ala bon sa bon pou moun ki mete konfyans yo nan ou!

Psaumes 84
1 Au chef des chantres. Sur la guitthith. Des fils de Koré. Psaume. Que tes demeures sont aimables, Éternel des armées!
2 Mon âme soupire et languit après les parvis de l’Éternel, Mon coeur et ma chair poussent des cris vers le Dieu vivant.
3 Le passereau même trouve une maison, Et l’hirondelle un nid où elle dépose ses petits… Tes autels, Éternel des armées! Mon roi et mon Dieu!
4 Heureux ceux qui habitent ta maison! Ils peuvent te célébrer encore. Pause.
5 Heureux ceux qui placent en toi leur appui! Ils trouvent dans leur coeur des chemins tout tracés.
6 Lorsqu’ils traversent la vallée de Baca, Ils la transforment en un lieu plein de sources, Et la pluie la couvre aussi de bénédictions.
7 Leur force augmente pendant la marche, Et ils se présentent devant Dieu à Sion.
8 Éternel, Dieu des armées, écoute ma prière! Prête l’oreille, Dieu de Jacob! Pause.
9 Toi qui es notre bouclier, vois, ô Dieu! Et regarde la face de ton oint!
10 Mieux vaut un jour dans tes parvis que mille ailleurs; Je préfère me tenir sur le seuil de la maison de mon Dieu, Plutôt que d’habiter sous les tentes de la méchanceté.
11 Car l’Éternel Dieu est un soleil et un bouclier, L’Éternel donne la grâce et la gloire, Il ne refuse aucun bien à ceux qui marchent dans l’intégrité.
12 Éternel des armées! Heureux l’homme qui se confie en toi!

Psalm 84
1 How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!
2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.
4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.
5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
8 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
9 Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
12 O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
