Sòm 58
1 Pou chèf sanba yo. Se pou yo chante sou lè chante ki di: Pa detwi. Se yon chante David. Nou menm ki reprezante Bondye, èske nou rann jistis la tout bon vre? Nou menm lèzòm, èske nou jije san patipri?
2 Non! Okontrè! Se move lide ase ki nan kè nou. N’ap plede fè mechanste nan tout peyi a.
3 Malveyan yo pèvèti depi nan vant manman yo. Moun k’ap bay manti yo gen madichon depi yo fèt.
4 Yo gen yon pwazon nan bouch yo, tankou pwazon sèpan. Yo pa pran priyè, yo tankou sèpan aspik,
5 ki fèmen zòrèy yo pou yo pa tande vwa moun k’ap chante pou fè yo dòmi, menm lè moun yo gen bèl bèl vwa.
6 Bondye, tanpri, kase dan nan bouch yo! Kase kwòk dan jenn lyon yo, Seyè!
7 Se pou yo disparèt tankou dlo lavalas k’ap koule desann. Se pou moun kraze yo anba pye tankou zèb sou granchemen.
8 Se pou yo fonn tankou mantèg nan solèy. Se pou yo pa janm wè solèy tankou tibebe ki fèt tou mouri.
9 Anvan menm yo konnen sa k’ap rive yo, se pou yo boule tankou raje. Bondye ap fè kòlè, l’ap rache yo pandan yo tou vivan.
10 Moun ki mache dwat devan Bondye gen pou yo kontan lè yo wè jan yo pini mechan yo. Y’a lave pye yo nan san mechan yo.
11 Lè sa a, moun va di: -Wi, sa vo lapenn pou moun mache dwat devan Bondye. Wi, gen yon Bondye k’ap jije moun sou latè.

Psaumes 58
1 Au chef des chantres. «Ne détruis pas.» Hymne de David. Est-ce donc en vous taisant que vous rendez la justice? Est-ce ainsi que vous jugez avec droiture, fils de l’homme?
2 Loin de là! Dans le coeur, vous consommez des iniquités; Dans le pays, c’est la violence de vos mains que vous placez sur la balance.
3 Les méchants sont pervertis dès le sein maternel, Les menteurs s’égarent au sortir du ventre de leur mère.
4 Ils ont un venin pareil au venin d’un serpent, D’un aspic sourd qui ferme son oreille,
5 Qui n’entend pas la voix des enchanteurs, Du magicien le plus habile.
6 O Dieu, brise-leur les dents dans la bouche! Éternel, arrache les mâchoires des lionceaux!
7 Qu’ils se dissipent comme des eaux qui s’écoulent! Qu’ils ne lancent que des traits émoussés!
8 Qu’ils périssent en se fondant, comme un limaçon; Sans voir le soleil, comme l’avorton d’une femme!
9 Avant que vos chaudières sentent l’épine, Verte ou enflammée, le tourbillon l’emportera.
10 Le juste sera dans la joie, à la vue de la vengeance; Il baignera ses pieds dans le sang des méchants.
11 Et les hommes diront: Oui, il est une récompense pour le juste; Oui, il est un Dieu qui juge sur la terre.

Psalm 58
1 Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
2 Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
5 Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
6 Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Lord.
7 Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.
8 As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
9 Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.
10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
11 So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
