Sòm 60
1 Pou chèf sanba yo. Se pou yo chante sou menm lè ak chante ki di: Bèl flè savann blan yo. Se yon chante David te fè pou moutre moun anpil bagay. Li te ekri l’ lè li t’ap fè lagè ak moun Aram yo ki te soti nan peyi Naarayen ak peyi Soba. Sa te rive aprè Joab te tounen nan batay la pou l’ te touye douz mil (12.000) moun peyi Edon nan Fon Sèl la. Bondye, ou vire do ban nou. Ou gaye nou toupatou. Ou te fache ak nou. Tanpri, fè nou kanpe ankò!
2 Ou fè peyi a tranble, ou mete l’ tèt anba. Mete l’ sou de pye l’ ankò, paske li prèt pou tonbe nèt.
3 Ou kite pèp ou a pase anba kont tray li. Ou ba li bwè yon bweson ki fè tèt li vire.
4 Ou bay moun ki gen krentif pou ou yo yon drapo, pou lè batay la yo jwenn kote pou yo kache.
5 Delivre nou ak pouvwa ou. Reponn nou lè nou lapriyè nan pye ou, pou moun ou renmen anpil yo ka jwenn delivrans.
6 Bondye rete kote ki apa pou li a, li di: -Mwen kontan anpil. Mwen pral separe lavil Sichèm. Mwen pral fè apantaj Fon Soukòt.
7 Peyi Galarad, se pou mwen li ye. Peyi Manase tou. M’ap fè peyi Efrayim tounen yon kas pou pwoteje tèt mwen. Peyi Jida, se baton kòmandman mwen li ye.
8 Men m’ap fè peyi Moab sèvi m’ kivèt pou m’ fè twalèt mwen. M’ap poze men m’ sou peyi Edon. Peyi Filisti a menm, m’ap mache pran li.
9 Ki moun ki pou mennen m’ nan lavil ki byen gade a? Ki moun ki pou mennen m’ lavil Edon?
10 Eske se pa ou menm, Bondye, ki pou fè sa pou mwen, ou menm ki te vire do ban nou, ou menm ki pa soti ansanm ak lame nou yo ankò?
11 Tanpri, ede nou goumen kont lènmi nou yo, paske sekou lèzòm se pawòl nan bouch.
12 Avèk Bondye bò kote nou, n’a fè bèl bagay nan lagè. Se li menm k’ap kraze lènmi nou yo anba pye l’.

Psaumes 60
1 Au chef des chantres. Sur le lis lyrique. Hymne de David, pour enseigner. Lorsqu’il fit la guerre aux Syriens de Mésopotamie et aux Syriens de Tsoba, et que Joab revint et battit dans la vallée du sel douze mille Édomites. O Dieu! tu nous as repoussés, dispersés, Tu t’es irrité: relève-nous!
2 Tu as ébranlé la terre, tu l’as déchirée: Répare ses brèches, car elle chancelle!
3 Tu as fait voir à ton peuple des choses dures, Tu nous as abreuvés d’un vin d’étourdissement.
4 Tu as donné à ceux qui te craignent une bannière, Pour qu’elle s’élève à cause de la vérité. -Pause.
5 Afin que tes bien-aimés soient délivrés, Sauve par ta droite, et exauce-nous!
6 Dieu a dit dans sa sainteté: Je triompherai, Je partagerai Sichem, je mesurerai la vallée de Succoth;
7 A moi Galaad, à moi Manassé; Éphraïm est le rempart de ma tête, Et Juda, mon sceptre;
8 Moab est le bassin où je me lave; Je jette mon soulier sur Édom; Pays des Philistins, pousse à mon sujet des cris de joie! –
9 Qui me mènera dans la ville forte? Qui me conduira à Édom?
10 N’est-ce pas toi, ô Dieu, qui nous as repoussés, Et qui ne sortais plus, ô Dieu, avec nos armées?
11 Donne-nous du secours contre la détresse! Le secours de l’homme n’est que vanité.
12 Avec Dieu, nous ferons des exploits; Il écrasera nos ennemis.

Psalm 60
1 O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us 1 again.
2 Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.
3 Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.
4 Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.
5 That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me.
6 God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
8 Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.
9 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
10 Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?
11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
12 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
