1 Lwanj pou Seyè a! Fè lwanj Seyè a! Nou tout k’ap sèvi Seyè a,
2 nou tout ki kanpe lakay li, nan kote ki apa pou Bondye nou an, fè lwanj li!
3 Fè lwanj Seyè a, paske li gen bon kè! Chante chante pou li, paske li aji byen ak nou.
4 Se li menm ki te chwazi Jakòb pou moun pa l’, se li menm ki te chwazi pèp Izrayèl la pou pèp li.
5 Mwen konnen Seyè nou an gen gwo pouvwa. Li gen pouvwa pase tout lòt bondye yo.
6 Li fè sa li vle nan syèl ak sou latè, sou lanmè ak nan fon lanmè.
7 Li fè nwaj yo leve kote syèl la kole ak latè a, li fè zèklè ak lapli, li fè van yo soti kote li sere yo a.
8 Se li menm ki te touye tout premye pitit gason ak tout premye pòte mal zannimo nan peyi Lejip.
9 Se li ki te fè anpil mirak ak mèvèy nan peyi Lejip pou pini farawon an ansanm ak tout moun k’ap sèvi l’ yo.
10 Li detwi anpil nasyon, li touye wa ki te gen pouvwa:
11 Siyon, wa peyi Amon an, Og, wa peyi Bazan an ansanm ak tout wa nan peyi Kanaran yo.
12 Li pran peyi yo, li bay pèp li a, wi, li bay moun pèp Izrayèl yo peyi moun sa yo pou yo rete.
13 Seyè, lèzòm ap toujou konnen ki moun ou ye. Yo p’ap janm bliye ou!
14 Seyè a va pran defans pèp li a, l’a gen pitye pou moun k’ap sèvi l’ yo.
15 Zidòl nasyon yo se bagay ki fèt ak ajan, ak lò. Se moun ki fè yo ak men yo.
16 Yo gen bouch, men yo pa ka pale. Yo gen je, men yo pa ka wè.
17 Yo gen zòrèy, men yo pa ka tande. Yo pa gen yon ti souf nan bouch yo.
18 Moun ki fè zidòl yo ansanm ak tout moun ki mete konfyans yo nan yo, se pou yo tounen tankou yo.
19 Nou menm, pèp Izrayèl la, fè lwanj Seyè a! Nou menm, prèt Bondye yo, fè lwanj Seyè a!
20 Nou menm k’ap sèvi nan tanp li a, fè lwanj Seyè a! Nou tout ki gen krentif pou Seyè a, fè lwanj li!
21 Fè lwanj Seyè a nan peyi Siyon. nan lavil Jerizalèm, kote l’ rete a. Lwanj pou Seyè a!

1 Louez l’Éternel! Louez le nom de l’Éternel, Louez-le, serviteurs de l’Éternel,
2 Qui vous tenez dans la maison de l’Éternel, Dans les parvis de la maison de notre Dieu!
3 Louez l’Éternel! car l’Éternel est bon. Chantez à son nom! car il est favorable.
4 Car l’Éternel s’est choisi Jacob, Israël, pour qu’il lui appartînt.
5 Je sais que l’Éternel est grand, Et que notre Seigneur est au-dessus de tous les dieux.
6 Tout ce que l’Éternel veut, il le fait, Dans les cieux et sur la terre, Dans les mers et dans tous les abîmes.
7 Il fait monter les nuages des extrémités de la terre, Il produit les éclairs et la pluie, Il tire le vent de ses trésors.
8 Il frappa les premiers-nés de l’Égypte, Depuis les hommes jusqu’aux animaux.
9 Il envoya des signes et des miracles au milieu de toi, Égypte! Contre Pharaon et contre tous ses serviteurs.
10 Il frappa des nations nombreuses, Et tua des rois puissants,
11 Sihon, roi des Amoréens, Og, roi de Basan, Et tous les rois de Canaan;
12 Et il donna leur pays en héritage, En héritage à Israël, son peuple.
13 Éternel! ton nom subsiste à toujours, Éternel! ta mémoire dure de génération en génération.
14 Car l’Éternel jugera son peuple, Et il aura pitié de ses serviteurs.
15 Les idoles des nations sont de l’argent et de l’or, Elles sont l’ouvrage de la main des hommes.
16 Elles ont une bouche et ne parlent point, Elles ont des yeux et ne voient point,
17 Elles ont des oreilles et n’entendent point, Elles n’ont point de souffle dans leur bouche.
18 Ils leur ressemblent, ceux qui les fabriquent, Tous ceux qui se confient en elles.
19 Maison d’Israël, bénissez l’Éternel! Maison d’Aaron, bénissez l’Éternel!
20 Maison de Lévi, bénissez l’Éternel! Vous qui craignez l’Éternel, bénissez l’Éternel!
21 Que de Sion l’on bénisse l’Éternel, Qui habite à Jérusalem! Louez l’Éternel!

Psalm 135
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the name of the Lord; praise him, O ye servants of the Lord.
2 Ye that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.
3 Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
4 For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.
5 For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
6 Whatsoever the Lord pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
7 He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
9 Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
12 And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
13 Thy name, O Lord, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O Lord, throughout all generations.
14 For the Lord will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
15 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18 They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.
19 Bless the Lord, O house of Israel: bless the Lord, O house of Aaron:
20 Bless the Lord, O house of Levi: ye that fear the Lord, bless the Lord.
21 Blessed be the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
