1 Jezi rele douz disip li yo. Li ba yo pouvwa pou chase move lespri ak pouvwa pou geri tout kalite maladi ak enfimite.
2 Men non douz apòt yo: Premye a se te Simon (li te ba l’ yon ti non: Pyè) ak Andre, frè li. Te gen Jak, pitit Zebede, ak Jan, frè li.
3 Te gen Filip ak Batèlmi, Toma ak Matye, pèseptè kontribisyon an, Jak, pitit Alfe a, ak Tade.
4 Te gen Simon, patriyòt la ak Jida Iskariòt, nonm ki te lage Jezi nan men lènmi l’ yo.
5 Jezi voye douz mesye yo ale, li ba yo lòd sa a: Piga n’ ale nan peyi moun lòt nasyon yo. Pa antre nan lavil Samari yo.
6 Okontrè, ale tout kote n’a jwenn moun ras Izrayèl yo ki pèdi.
7 Sou tout wout nou, bay mesaj sa a: Gouvènman Wa ki nan syèl la prèt pou rive.
8 Geri moun ki malad. Fè moun mouri yo leve. Geri moun ki malad ak lalèp. Chase move lespri yo. Se gratis nou resevwa, se gratis tou pou nou bay.
9 Pa pran ni lò, ni lajan, ni kòb kwiv mete nan pòch nou.
10 Nou pa bezwen pote sak pou vwayaj la. Pa mete de rad sou nou, pa pran ni soulye, ni baton. Paske, yon travayè merite pou yo ba l’ manje.
11 Lè nou rive nan yon lavil, osinon nan yon ti bouk, mande si gen moun ki vle resevwa nou. Rete lakay li jouk lè nou pati.
12 Lè n’ap antre nan kay la, n’a di: Benediksyon Bondye sou kay la.
13 Si moun nan kay la resevwa nou, benediksyon nou an va desann sou li. Men, si l’ pa vle resevwa nou, benediksyon an va tounen vin jwenn nou.
14 Si yo pa vle resevwa nou, si yo pa vle koute pawòl nou, soti nan kay la, osinon nan lavil la, al fè wout nou. Souke pousyè pye nou.
15 Sa m’ap di nou la a, se vre wi: Jou jijman an, y’ap peni moun lavil sa a pi rèd pase moun Sòdòm ak moun Gomò.
16 Gade, mesye! M’ap voye nou tankou mouton nan mitan chen mawon. Se sak fè, se pou nou sou prigad nou tankou pentad, se pou nou inonsan tankou pijon.
17 Pran prekosyon nou ak tout moun; paske y’a trennen nou devan tribinal, y’a bat nou ak kout fwèt nan sinagòg yo.
18 y’a fè nou konparèt devan chèf gouvènman ak devan wa poutèt mwen, pou nou kapab sèvi m’ temwen devan yo ak devan moun lòt nasyon yo.
19 Men, lè y’a mennen nou nan tribinal, pa bat kò nou chache sa n’a gen pou n’ di, ni jan n’a gen pou n’ pale. Lè lè a va rive, Bondye va mete nan bouch nou sa n’a gen pou n’ di.
20 Paske, se pa nou menm ki va pale, men se Lespri Papa nou an ki va mete pawòl nan bouch nou.
21 Frè va denonse frè pou fè touye li. Papa va denonse pitit. Pitit va leve kont papa ak manman pou fè touye yo.
22 Tout moun pral rayi nou poutèt mwen. Men, moun ki va kenbe fèm jouk sa kaba, se yo ki va sove.
23 Lè y’a pèsekite nou nan yon lavil, sove ale nan yon lòt. Sa m’ap di nou la a, se vre wi: Moun Bondye voye nan lachè a va gen tan vini anvan n’a fin mache nan tout lavil ki nan peyi Izrayèl la.
24 Yon elèv pa pi fò pase mèt li. Nitou, yon domestik pa pi grannèg pase patwon li.
25 Si yon elèv rive fò tankou mèt li, sa kont pou li; si yon domestik rive tankou patwon li, sa kont pou li. Si yo rele mèt kay la Bèlzeboul, se pa lòt moun nan kay la yo p’ap bay pi move non toujou!
26 Se sak fè nou pa bezwen pè pesonn. Pa gen anyen ki kache ki p’ap dekouvri yon lè. Nanpwen sekrè ki p’ap devwale.
27 Tou sa m’ap di nou nan fènwa, nou menm repete l’ gwo lajounen. Tou sa yo di nou nan zòrèy, mache bay li nan tout kalfou.
28 Nou pa bezwen pè moun ki kapab touye kò nou, men ki pa kapab touye nanm nou. Se Bondye pou nou pè pito, paske li menm li kapab detwi nanm nou ansanm ak tout kò nou nan lanfè.
29 Eske yo pa vann ti zwazo de pou senk kòb? Malgre sa, pa gen yon sèl ki tonbe atè san Papa nou pa konnen.
30 Pou nou menm menm, ata grenn cheve nan tèt nou, yo tout konte.
31 Se sak fè, nou pa bezwen pè menm: nou vo pi plis pase anpil ti zwazo.
32 Moun ki va kanpe pou mwen devan lèzòm, mwen menm tou, m’a kanpe pou li devan Papa m’ ki nan syèl la.
33 Men tou, moun ki va kanpe devan lèzòm pou di li pa konnen m’, mwen menm tou, m’a kanpe devan Papa m’ ki nan syèl la, m’a di mwen pa konnen l’.
34 Pa mete nan tèt nou se lapè mwen vin mete sou latè; mwen pa vin mete lapè, men mwen vin mete divizyon.
35 Mwen vin mete divizyon ant pitit gason ak papa yo, ant pitit fi ak manman yo, ant bèlfi ak bèlmè yo.
36 Se pwòp fanmi nou ki va pi gwo lènmi nou.
37 Moun ki renmen papa l’ osinon manman l’ plis pase m’ pa kapab moun pa m’. Moun ki renmen pitit gason l’ osinon pitit fi l’ plis pase m’ pa kapab moun pa m’.
38 Moun ki pa pran kwa l’ pou l’ swiv mwen, li pa kapab moun pa m’ non plis.
39 Moun k’ap chache asire lavi l’ va pèdi li. Men, moun ki va pèdi lavi l’ poutèt mwen va jwenn li ankò.
40 Moun ki resevwa nou, se mwen menm li resevwa. Moun ki resevwa mwen, li resevwa moun ki voye m’ lan tou.
41 Moun ki resevwa yon pwofèt Bondye paske se pwofèt Bondye li ye, moun sa a va resevwa rekonpans yo bay yon pwofèt. Moun ki resevwa yon nonm k’ap mache dwat devan Bondye paske se yon moun dwat li ye, moun sa a va resevwa rekonpans yo bay yon moun k’ap mache dwat.
42 Sa m’ap di nou la a, se vre wi: Nenpòt moun ki va bay yonn nan ti piti sa yo menm yon gode dlo frèt paske se disip mwen li ye, moun sa a p’ap pèdi rekonpans li.

Mathieu 10
1 Puis, ayant appelé ses douze disciples, il leur donna le pouvoir de chasser les esprits impurs, et de guérir toute maladie et toute infirmité.
2 Voici les noms des douze apôtres. Le premier, Simon appelé Pierre, et André, son frère; Jacques, fils de Zébédée, et Jean, son frère;
3 Philippe, et Barthélemy; Thomas, et Matthieu, le publicain; Jacques, fils d’Alphée, et Thaddée;
4 Simon le Cananite, et Judas l’Iscariot, celui qui livra Jésus.
5 Tels sont les douze que Jésus envoya, après leur avoir donné les instructions suivantes: N’allez pas vers les païens, et n’entrez pas dans les villes des Samaritains;
6 allez plutôt vers les brebis perdues de la maison d’Israël.
7 Allez, prêchez, et dites: Le royaume des cieux est proche.
8 Guérissez les malades, ressuscitez les morts, purifiez les lépreux, chassez les démons. Vous avez reçu gratuitement, donnez gratuitement.
9 Ne prenez ni or, ni argent, ni monnaie, dans vos ceintures;
10 ni sac pour le voyage, ni deux tuniques, ni souliers, ni bâton; car l’ouvrier mérite sa nourriture.
11 Dans quelque ville ou village que vous entriez, informez-vous s’il s’y trouve quelque homme digne de vous recevoir; et demeurez chez lui jusqu’à ce que vous partiez.
12 En entrant dans la maison, saluez-la;
13 et, si la maison en est digne, que votre paix vienne sur elle; mais si elle n’en est pas digne, que votre paix retourne à vous.
14 Lorsqu’on ne vous recevra pas et qu’on n’écoutera pas vos paroles, sortez de cette maison ou de cette ville et secouez la poussière de vos pieds.
15 Je vous le dis en vérité: au jour du jugement, le pays de Sodome et de Gomorrhe sera traité moins rigoureusement que cette ville-là.
16 Voici, je vous envoie comme des brebis au milieu des loups. Soyez donc prudents comme les serpents, et simples comme les colombes.
17 Mettez-vous en garde contre les hommes; car ils vous livreront aux tribunaux, et ils vous battront de verges dans leurs synagogues;
18 vous serez menés, à cause de moi, devant des gouverneurs et devant des rois, pour servir de témoignage à eux et aux païens.
19 Mais, quand on vous livrera, ne vous inquiétez ni de la manière dont vous parlerez ni de ce que vous direz: ce que vous aurez à dire vous sera donné à l’heure même;
20 car ce n’est pas vous qui parlerez, c’est l’Esprit de votre Père qui parlera en vous.
21 Le frère livrera son frère à la mort, et le père son enfant; les enfants se soulèveront contre leurs parents, et les feront mourir.
22 Vous serez haïs de tous, à cause de mon nom; mais celui qui persévérera jusqu’à la fin sera sauvé.
23 Quand on vous persécutera dans une ville, fuyez dans une autre. Je vous le dis en vérité, vous n’aurez pas achevé de parcourir les villes d’Israël que le Fils de l’homme sera venu.
24 Le disciple n’est pas plus que le maître, ni le serviteur plus que son seigneur.
25 Il suffit au disciple d’être traité comme son maître, et au serviteur comme son seigneur. S’ils ont appelé le maître de la maison Béelzébul, à combien plus forte raison appelleront-ils ainsi les gens de sa maison!
26 Ne les craignez donc point; car il n’y a rien de caché qui ne doive être découvert, ni de secret qui ne doive être connu.
27 Ce que je vous dis dans les ténèbres, dites-le en plein jour; et ce qui vous est dit à l’oreille, prêchez-le sur les toits.
28 Ne craignez pas ceux qui tuent le corps et qui ne peuvent tuer l’âme; craignez plutôt celui qui peut faire périr l’âme et le corps dans la géhenne.
29 Ne vend-on pas deux passereaux pour un sou? Cependant, il n’en tombe pas un à terre sans la volonté de votre Père.
30 Et même les cheveux de votre tête sont tous comptés.
31 Ne craignez donc point: vous valez plus que beaucoup de passereaux.
32 C’est pourquoi, quiconque me confessera devant les hommes, je le confesserai aussi devant mon Père qui est dans les cieux;
33 mais quiconque me reniera devant les hommes, je le renierai aussi devant mon Père qui est dans les cieux.
34 Ne croyez pas que je sois venu apporter la paix sur la terre; je ne suis pas venu apporter la paix, mais l’épée.
35 Car je suis venu mettre la division entre l’homme et son père, entre la fille et sa mère, entre la belle-fille et sa belle-mère;
36 et l’homme aura pour ennemis les gens de sa maison.
37 Celui qui aime son père ou sa mère plus que moi n’est pas digne de moi, et celui qui aime son fils ou sa fille plus que moi n’est pas digne de moi;
38 celui qui ne prend pas sa croix, et ne me suit pas, n’est pas digne de moi.
39 Celui qui conservera sa vie la perdra, et celui qui perdra sa vie à cause de moi la retrouvera.
40 Celui qui vous reçoit me reçoit, et celui qui me reçoit, reçoit celui qui m’a envoyé.
41 Celui qui reçoit un prophète en qualité de prophète recevra une récompense de prophète, et celui qui reçoit un juste en qualité de juste recevra une récompense de juste.
42 Et quiconque donnera seulement un verre d’eau froide à l’un de ces petits parce qu’il est mon disciple, je vous le dis en vérité, il ne perdra point sa récompense.

1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
12 And when ye come into an house, salute it.
13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.
42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
