1 Monchè, nenpòt sa ou ye, ou menm k’ap jije lòt moun yo, ou pa gen eskiz. Ou menm k’ap fè menm bagay ak lòt yo, se pwòp tèt pa ou w’ap kondannen lè w’ap jije yo.
2 Nou konnen Bondye ap jije moun k’ap fè bagay sa yo, epi l’ap jije yo yon jan k’ap dakò ak verite a.
3 Monchè, ou menm k’ap jije moun k’ap fè bagay sa yo epi k’ap aji menm jan an tou, èske ou kwè wa chape anba jijman Bondye a?
4 Osinon, èske se meprize w’ap meprize Bondye ki gen bon kè anpil, ki gen pasyans anpil, ki sipòte nou anpil? Se konnen ou pa konnen se pou l’ ka rele ou vin chanje lavi ou kifè Bondye gen bon kè konsa?
5 Men, w’ap fè tèt di. Ou pa soti pou chanje lavi ou. Se poutèt sa, w’ap pare yon pi gwo chatiman mete la tann ou pou jou Bondye va fè wè kòlè li ansanm ak jijman li k’ap fèt san patipri.
6 Lè sa a, Bondye va bay chak moun sa yo merite dapre sa yo fè.
7 Moun ki pa janm sispann fè byen, k’ap chache lwanj ak respè, k’ap chache mwayen pou yo pa janm mouri, moun sa yo va resevwa lavi ki p’ap janm fini an.
8 Men, moun k’ap kenbe tèt ak Bondye, k’ap refize asepte verite a pou fè sa ki pa bon, moun sa yo, yo fè Bondye fache. Kòlè l’ va tonbe sou yo.
9 Anpil soufrans ak anpil lapenn pou tout moun ki lage kò yo nan fè sa ki mal, pou jwif yo an premye, apre yo pou moun lòt nasyon yo.
10 Men, Bondye va bay tout moun k’ap fè sa ki byen lwanj, respè ak kè poze, jwif yo an premye, apre yo moun lòt nasyon yo.
11 Paske, Bondye pa gade sou figi moun.
12 Tout moun ki pa t’ konn lalwa Moyiz la epi ki fè sa ki mal, y’ap peri san lalwa pa reskonsab. Men, tout moun ki konnen lalwa a epi ki fè sa ki mal, y’ap pase anba jijman dapre lalwa a.
13 Moun ki mache dwat devan Bondye, se pa moun k’ap tande lalwa a nan zòrèy yo sèlman, men se moun ki fè sa lalwa a mande.
14 Moun lòt nasyon yo ki pa gen lalwa Moyiz la, yo fè sa lalwa a mande san yo pa konnen. Yo menm ki pa gen lalwa Moyiz la, yo tounen yon lwa pou pwòp tèt pa yo menm si yo pa t’ konn lalwa a.
15 Konsa, yo moutre ki jan sa lalwa Moyiz mande a ekri nan kè yo. Konsyans yo moutre sa tou paske yon lè konsyans yo repwoche yo sa yo fè, yon lòt lè konsyans yo dakò ak sa yo fè.
16 Dapre bon nouvèl m’ap anonse a, se sa menm ki gen pou rive lè Bondye va voye Jezikri pou jije tou sa lèzòm t’ap fè an kachèt.
17 Ou menm yo rele jwif la, ou apiye kò ou sou lalwa a. W’ap vante tèt ou dèske ou konn Bondye.
18 Ou konnen sa Bondye vle ou fè; lalwa a moutre ou ki jan pou ou chwazi sa ki byen.
19 Ou mete nan tèt ou ou ka moutre moun ki pa wè yo chemen pou yo pran. Ou konprann se yon limyè ou ye pou moun ki nan fènwa,
20 yon pwofesè lekòl pou timoun; ou kwè ou ka moutre moun ki pa konnen anyen yo anpil bagay. Ou mete tou sa nan tèt ou paske ou sèten ou jwenn tout konesans ak tout verite nan lalwa a.
21 Enben, ou menm k’ap bay lòt yo leson, poukisa ou pa bay tèt ou leson tou?
22 W’ap mande moun pou yo pa vòlò, epi w’ap vòlò: w’ap dèfann moun fè adiltè epi ou menm, w’ap fè adiltè! Ou di ou rayi zidòl, epi w’ap piye tanp zidòl yo!
23 Wi, ou menm k’ap vante tèt ou deske ou gen lalwa Bondye a ou se yon wont pou Bondye, pou jan w’ap dezobeyi lalwa a!
24 Se sa menm ki te ekri: Se nou menm jwif yo ki lakòz moun lòt nasyon yo ap plede pale Bondye mal konsa.
25 Si ou fè sa lalwa a mande ou fè, sikonsizyon an gen valè pou ou. Men, si w’ap dezobeyi lalwa a, se tankou si ou pa t’ janm sikonsi.
26 Lè yon moun lòt nasyon ki pa sikonsi fè sa lalwa a mande, èske Bondye p’ap gade li tankou yon moun ki sikonsi?
27 Moun lòt nasyon yo ki pa sikonsi men k’ap obeyi lalwa a, yo gen pou yo jije ou, ou menm jwif k’ap dezobeyi lalwa a atout ou gen liv lalwa a nan men ou, atout ou sikonsi a.
28 Se pa moun ki gen aparans jwif ki jwif tout bon. Se pa sikonsizyon ki kite mak nan kò moun ki sikonsizyon tout bon an.
29 Jwif ki jwif tout bon, se moun ki jwif nan kè yo. Sikonsizyon tout bon an, se sikonsizyon ki make kè moun. Sa se travay Lespri Bondye a, se pa travay lalwa ki ekri nan liv. Lwanj yon jwif konsa pa soti nan men moun, men nan men Bondye.

Romains 2
1 O homme, qui que tu sois, toi qui juges, tu es donc inexcusable; car, en jugeant les autres, tu te condamnes toi-même, puisque toi qui juges, tu fais les mêmes choses.
2 Nous savons, en effet, que le jugement de Dieu contre ceux qui commettent de telles choses est selon la vérité.
3 Et penses-tu, ô homme, qui juges ceux qui commettent de telles choses, et qui les fais, que tu échapperas au jugement de Dieu?
4 Ou méprises-tu les richesses de sa bonté, de sa patience et de sa longanimité, ne reconnaissant pas que la bonté de Dieu te pousse à la repentance?
5 Mais, par ton endurcissement et par ton coeur impénitent, tu t’amasses un trésor de colère pour le jour de la colère et de la manifestation du juste jugement de Dieu,
6 qui rendra à chacun selon ses oeuvres;
7 réservant la vie éternelle à ceux qui, par la persévérance à bien faire, cherchent l’honneur, la gloire et l’immortalité;
8 mais l’irritation et la colère à ceux qui, par esprit de dispute, sont rebelles à la vérité et obéissent à l’injustice.
9 Tribulation et angoisse sur toute âme d’homme qui fait le mal, sur le Juif premièrement, puis sur le Grec!
10 Gloire, honneur et paix pour quiconque fait le bien, pour le Juif premièrement, puis pour le Grec!
11 Car devant Dieu il n’y a point d’acception de personnes.
12 Tous ceux qui ont péché sans la loi périront aussi sans la loi, et tous ceux qui ont péché avec la loi seront jugés par la loi.
13 Ce ne sont pas, en effet, ceux qui écoutent la loi qui sont justes devant Dieu, mais ce sont ceux qui la mettent en pratique qui seront justifiés.
14 Quand les païens, qui n’ont point la loi, font naturellement ce que prescrit la loi, ils sont, eux qui n’ont point la loi, une loi pour eux-mêmes;
15 ils montrent que l’oeuvre de la loi est écrite dans leurs coeurs, leur conscience en rendant témoignage, et leurs pensées s’accusant ou se défendant tour à tour.
16 C’est ce qui paraîtra au jour où, selon mon Évangile, Dieu jugera par Jésus Christ les actions secrètes des hommes.
17 Toi qui te donnes le nom de Juif, qui te reposes sur la loi, qui te glorifies de Dieu,
18 qui connais sa volonté, qui apprécies la différence des choses, étant instruit par la loi;
19 toi qui te flattes d’être le conducteur des aveugles, la lumière de ceux qui sont dans les ténèbres,
20 le docteur des insensés, le maître des ignorants, parce que tu as dans la loi la règle de la science et de la vérité;
21 toi donc, qui enseignes les autres, tu ne t’enseignes pas toi-même! Toi qui prêches de ne pas dérober, tu dérobes!
22 Toi qui dis de ne pas commettre d’adultère, tu commets l’adultère! Toi qui as en abomination les idoles, tu commets des sacrilèges!
23 Toi qui te fais une gloire de la loi, tu déshonores Dieu par la transgression de la loi!
24 Car le nom de Dieu est à cause de vous blasphémé parmi les païens, comme cela est écrit.
25 La circoncision est utile, si tu mets en pratique la loi; mais si tu transgresses la loi, ta circoncision devient incirconcision.
26 Si donc l’incirconcis observe les ordonnances de la loi, son incirconcision ne sera-t-elle pas tenue pour circoncision?
27 L’incirconcis de nature, qui accomplit la loi, ne te condamnera-t-il pas, toi qui la transgresses, tout en ayant la lettre de la loi et la circoncision?
28 Le Juif, ce n’est pas celui qui en a les dehors; et la circoncision, ce n’est pas celle qui est visible dans la chair.
29 Mais le Juif, c’est celui qui l’est intérieurement; et la circoncision, c’est celle du coeur, selon l’esprit et non selon la lettre. La louange de ce Juif ne vient pas des hommes, mais de Dieu.

Romans 2
1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
17 Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,
18 And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;
19 And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,
20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?
24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
