Ezekyel 32
1 Nan premye jou nan douzyèm mwa douzyèm lanne depi yo te depòte nou an, Seyè a pale avè m’, li di m’ konsa:
2 -Nonm o! Chante yon chante pou plenn sò farawon an, wa peyi Lejip la. Ba l’ mesaj sa a pou mwen: Ou pran pòz lyon ou nan mitan lòt nasyon yo. Men pou di vre, ou tankou yon gwo kayiman k’ap benyen nan larivyè a. Ou leve tout fon dlo a ak pat ou yo, ou sal tout dlo a.
3 Men sa Seyè sèl Mèt la voye di ou: Nan mitan anpil nasyon ki va sanble bò kote ou, m’ap voye privye mwen sou ou pou m’ pran ou.
4 M’ap voye ou jete atè, m’ap blayi ou nan mitan jaden yo. M’ap fè tout kalite zwezo ak bèt nan bwa vin manje plen vant yo ak kadav ou.
5 Mwen pral kouvri tout mòn ak tout fon yo ak kadav ou k’ap dekonpoze.
6 M’ap wouze tout peyi a ak san ou. M’ap vide san ou sou mòn yo, jouk ravin yo pral plen dlo kò ou.
7 Lè m’ap disparèt ou a, m’ap kouvri syèl la, m’ap bouche zetwal yo. M’ap kache solèy la dèyè nwaj yo, lalin lan p’ap klere ankò.
8 Poutèt ou, m’ap tenyen dènye limyè nan syèl la. Pral fènwa nèt sou tout latè. Se mwen menm Seyè sèl Mèt la ki di sa.
9 Anpil moun pral gen lespri yo boulvèse lè m’ fè nouvèl jan ou fini an gaye nan tout nasyon yo, ata nan peyi ou menm ou pa janm konnen.
10 M’ap fè anpil nasyon sezi wè sa k’ap rive ou la. Lè m’ap lonje nepe m’ lan devan yo, wa yo pral tranble nan kanson yo. Jou w’ap tonbe a, yo tout pral tranble. Y’ap pè pou yo pa pèdi lavi yo tou.
11 Men sa Seyè sèl Mèt la voye di wa peyi Lejip la: -Nepe wa Babilòn lan pral tonbe sou ou.
12 Mwen pral fè sòlda peyi ki pi mechan an touye tout pèp ou a ak nepe yo. Yo pral ravaje tout bèl bagay ki te fè ou kontan nan peyi Lejip la. Yo pral touye dènye kras moun nan peyi a.
13 M’ap touye tout bèt nou yo bò dlo a. p’ap rete yon grenn moun ni yon sèl bèt pou sal dlo yo ankò.
14 M’ap kite dlo yo poze, m’ap fè larivyè yo koule tou dousman. Se mwen menm Seyè sèl Mèt la ki di sa.
15 Lè m’a fè peyi Lejip la tounen yon dezè, lè m’a devaste tout bagay nan peyi a, lè m’a touye dènye moun ki rete nan peyi a, lè sa a y’a konnen se mwen menm ki Seyè a.
16 Men chante y’a chante pou plenn sò peyi Lejip la. Medam lòt nasyon yo va chante l’ lè y’ap kriye pou peyi Lejip ansanm ak tout pèp li a. Wi, se chante sa a y’a chante lè y’ap kriye pou yo. Se mwen menm Seyè a ki di sa.
17 Nan kenzyèm jou premye mwa douzyèm lanne depi yo te depòte nou an, Seyè a pale avè m’ ankò. Li di m’ konsa:
18 -Nonm o! Plenn sò tout moun peyi Lejip yo. Voye yo desann ansanm ak tout lòt moun gwo nasyon yo nan peyi kote mò yo ye a, anba tè kote moun ki deja mouri yo ye.
19 Di yo konsa: -Nou konprann nou pi bèl pase tout moun? Enben, nou pral desann nan peyi kote mò yo ye a. Nou pral kouche ansanm ak moun ki pa pote mak kontra Bondye a.
20 Moun peyi Lejip yo pral tonbe ansanm ak moun ki mouri nan lagè yo. Gen yon nepe ki pare pou touye yo tout.
21 Sòlda ki te pi vanyan yo ansanm ak tout moun ki te pran pozisyon ak moun peyi Lejip yo pral resevwa yo nan peyi kote mò yo ye a. Yo pral di: Moun ki pa pote mak kontra Bondye a ap mouri nan lagè, yo desann isit la. Se la yo vin kouche!
22 Peyi Lasiri a la avèk tonm tout sòlda li yo bò kote l’. Yo tout mouri nan lagè.
23 Yo mete tonm yo anba nèt nan peyi kote mò yo ye a. Tout sòlda li yo mouri nan lagè. Tout tonm yo bò kote l’. Se yo menm ki te mache fè moun pè yo toupatou sou latè.
24 Peyi Elam lan la tou avèk tonm tout sòlda li yo bò kote l’. Yo tout mouri nan lagè. Yo pa pote mak kontra Bondye a, yo desann konsa nan peyi kote mò yo ye a, yo menm ki te mache fè moun pè yo toupatou sou latè. Koulye a yo wont, y’ap peye mechanste yo, yo mouri ansanm ak moun ki desann nan twou san fon an.
25 Wa peyi Elam lan kouche nan mitan moun pa l’ yo ki mouri nan lagè. Tonm sòlda li yo bò kote l’. Yo pa pote mak kontra Bondye a, yo mouri konsa nan lagè. Sou latè, yo te mache fè tout moun pè yo. Koulye a yo wont, y’ap peye mechanste yo. Yo desann nan twou san fon an ansanm ak moun ki mouri nan lagè yo.
26 Wa peyi Mechèk la ak wa peyi Toubal la tou, ansanm avèk tonm sòlda yo bò kote yo. Yo pa pote mak kontra Bondye a, yo mouri konsa nan lagè. Yon lè yo t’ap mache fè tout moun pè sou latè.
27 Yo p’ap fè bèl lantèman pou yo tankou pou vanyan sòlda tan lontan yo, ki te desann nan peyi kote mò yo ye a ak tout zam yo sou yo, nepe yo anba tèt yo ak plak fè pwotèj yo anwo kadav yo. Paske yon lè yo t’ap mache fè tout moun pè yo sou latè.
28 Se konsa moun peyi Lejip yo pral mouri tankou moun ki pa pote mak kontra Bondye a, y’ap antere yo ansanm ak moun ki te mouri nan lagè yo.
29 Peyi Edon an la tou ansanm ak tout wa li yo ak chèf li yo. Yon lè yo te vanyan sòlda, men koulye a yo kouche nan peyi kote mò yo ye a ansanm ak moun ki pa pote mak kontra Bondye a epi ki te mouri nan lagè.
30 Tout chèf peyi nan nò yo la tou ansanm ak tout moun peyi Sidon yo. Yo te sitèlman gen fòs, yo te fè moun pè yo. Koulye a, yo desann nan twou san fon an. Yo pote wont mechanste yo anba tè a ak yo. Yo mete yo kouche ansanm ak moun ki pa pote mak kontra Bondye a, epi ki te mouri nan lagè yo.
31 Se pral yon gwo konsolasyon pou wa peyi Lejip la ansanm ak sòlda li yo, lè y’a wè tout kantite moun ki te mouri nan lagè. Se Seyè sèl Mèt la menm ki di sa.
32 Atout mwen te fè wa peyi Lejip la mache fè moun pè l’ toupatou sou latè, y’ap touye l’ ansanm ak tout sòlda li yo. Ni li ni sòlda li yo pral kouche ansanm ak moun ki pa pote mak kontra Bondye a epi ki mouri nan lagè yo. Se mwen menm, Seyè sèl Mèt la, ki di sa.

1 La douzième année, le premier jour du douzième mois, la parole de l’Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:
2 Fils de l’homme, Prononce une complainte sur Pharaon, roi d’Égypte! Tu lui diras: Tu ressemblais à un lionceau parmi les nations; Tu étais comme un crocodile dans les mers, Tu t’élançais dans tes fleuves, Tu troublais les eaux avec tes pieds, Tu agitais leurs flots.
3 Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel: J’étendrai sur toi mon rets, Dans une foule nombreuse de peuples, Et ils te tireront dans mon filet.
4 Je te laisserai à terre, Je te jetterai sur la face des champs; Je ferai reposer sur toi tous les oiseaux du ciel, Et je rassasierai de toi les bêtes de toute la terre.
5 Je mettrai ta chair sur les montagnes, Et je remplirai les vallées de tes débris;
6 J’arroserai de ton sang le pays où tu nages, Jusqu’aux montagnes, Et les ravins seront remplis de toi.
7 Quand je t’éteindrai, je voilerai les cieux Et j’obscurcirai leurs étoiles, Je couvrirai le soleil de nuages, Et la lune ne donnera plus sa lumière.
8 J’obscurcirai à cause de toi tous les luminaires des cieux, Et je répandrai les ténèbres sur ton pays, Dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel.
9 J’affligerai le coeur de beaucoup de peuples, Quand j’annoncerai ta ruine parmi les nations A des pays que tu ne connaissais pas.
10 Je frapperai de stupeur beaucoup de peuples à cause de toi, Et leurs rois seront saisis d’épouvante à cause de toi, Quand j’agiterai mon épée devant leur face; Ils trembleront à tout instant chacun pour sa vie, Au jour de ta chute.
11 Car ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel: L’épée du roi de Babylone fondra sur toi.
12 Je ferai tomber ta multitude par l’épée de vaillants hommes, Tous les plus violents d’entre les peuples; Ils anéantiront l’orgueil de l’Égypte, Et toute sa multitude sera détruite.
13 Je ferai périr tout son bétail près des grandes eaux; Le pied de l’homme ne les troublera plus, Le sabot des animaux ne les troublera plus.
14 Alors je calmerai ses eaux, Et je ferai couler ses fleuves comme l’huile, Dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel
15 Quand je ferai du pays d’Égypte une solitude, Et que le pays sera dépouillé de tout ce qu’il contient, Quand je frapperai tous ceux qui l’habitent, Ils sauront que je suis l’Éternel.
16 C’est là une complainte, et on la dira; Les filles des nations diront cette complainte; Elles la prononceront sur l’Égypte et sur toute sa multitude, Dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel.
17 La douzième année, le quinzième jour du mois, la parole de l’Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:
18 Fils de l’homme, Lamente-toi sur la multitude d’Égypte, et précipite-la, Elle et les filles des nations puissantes, Dans les profondeurs de la terre, Avec ceux qui descendent dans la fosse!
19 Qui surpasses-tu en beauté? Descends, et couche-toi avec les incirconcis!
20 Ils tomberont au milieu de ceux qui sont morts par l’épée. Le glaive est donné: Entraînez l’Égypte et toute sa multitude!
21 Les puissants héros lui adresseront la parole Au sein du séjour des morts, Avec ceux qui étaient ses soutiens. Ils sont descendus, ils sont couchés, les incirconcis, Tués par l’épée.
22 Là est l’Assyrien, avec toute sa multitude, Et ses sépulcres sont autour de lui; Tous sont morts, sont tombés par l’épée.
23 Ses sépulcres sont dans les profondeurs de la fosse, Et sa multitude est autour de son sépulcre; Tous sont morts, sont tombés par l’épée; Eux qui répandaient la terreur dans le pays des vivants.
24 Là est Élam, avec toute sa multitude, Autour est son sépulcre; Tous sont morts, sont tombés par l’épée; Ils sont descendus incirconcis dans les profondeurs de la terre, Eux qui répandaient la terreur dans le pays des vivants, Et ils ont porté leur ignominie vers ceux qui descendent dans la fosse.
25 On a fait sa couche parmi les morts avec toute sa multitude, Et ses sépulcres sont autour de lui; Tous ces incirconcis sont morts par l’épée, Car ils répandaient la terreur dans le pays des vivants, Et ils ont porté leur ignominie vers ceux qui descendent dans la fosse; Ils ont été placés parmi les morts.
26 Là sont Méschec, Tubal, et toute leur multitude, Et leurs sépulcres sont autour d’eux; Tous ces incirconcis sont morts par l’épée, Car ils répandaient la terreur dans le pays des vivants.
27 Ils ne sont pas couchés avec les héros, Ceux qui sont tombés d’entre les incirconcis; Ils sont descendus au séjour des morts avec leurs armes de guerre, Ils ont mis leurs épées sous leurs têtes, Et leurs iniquités ont été sur leurs ossements; Car ils étaient la terreur des héros dans le pays des vivants.
28 Toi aussi, tu seras brisé au milieu des incirconcis; Tu seras couché avec ceux qui sont morts par l’épée.
29 Là sont Édom, ses rois et tous ses princes, Qui, malgré leur vaillance, ont été placés Avec ceux qui sont morts par l’épée; Ils sont couchés avec les incirconcis, Avec ceux qui descendent dans la fosse.
30 Là sont tous les princes du septentrion, et tous les Sidoniens, Qui sont descendus vers les morts, Confus, malgré la terreur qu’inspirait leur vaillance; Ces incirconcis sont couchés avec ceux qui sont morts par l’épée, Et ils ont porté leur ignominie vers ceux qui descendent dans la fosse.
31 Pharaon les verra, Et il se consolera au sujet de toute sa multitude, Des siens qui sont morts par l’épée et de toute son armée, Dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel.
32 Car je répandrai ma terreur dans le pays des vivants; Et ils seront couchés au

1 And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers.
3 Thus saith the Lord God; I will therefore spread out my net over thee with a company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in my net.
4 Then will I leave thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to remain upon thee, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee.
5 And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy height.
6 I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, even to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of thee.
7 And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.
8 All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord God.
9 I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known.
10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.
11 For thus saith the Lord God; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.
12 By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.
13 I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them.
14 Then will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord God.
15 When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I am the Lord.
16 This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for Egypt, and for all her multitude, saith the Lord God.
17 It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
18 Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit.
19 Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised.
20 They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes.
21 The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.
22 Asshur is there and all her company: his graves are about him: all of them slain, fallen by the sword:
23 Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.
24 There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.
25 They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that be slain.
26 There is Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, though they caused their terror in the land of the living.
27 And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.
28 Yea, thou shalt be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shalt lie with them that are slain with the sword.
29 There is Edom, her kings, and all her princes, which with their might are laid by them that were slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit.
30 There be the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, which are gone down with the slain; with their terror they are ashamed of their might; and they lie uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword, and bear their shame with them that go down to the pit.
31 Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, saith the Lord God.
32 For I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord God.
