Ézayi 55
1 Vini non, nou tout ki swaf dlo. Men dlo! Vini non, nou tout ki pa gen lajan, nou mèt vini. Achte manje pou nou manje. Nou pa bezwen lajan! Achte diven ak lèt pou nou bwè. Nou pa bezwen peye!
2 Poukisa n’ap depanse lajan achte manje ki pa ka fè anyen pou nou? Poukisa n’ap depanse lajan travay nou pou bagay ki pa ka plen vant nou? Si nou koute byen sa m’ap di nou la a, n’a manje sa ki bon. N’a pran plezi nou nan manje bon kalite manje.
3 Louvri zòrèy nou. Vin jwenn mwen. Koute byen sa m’ap di nou, n’a jwenn lavi. M’ap siyen yon kontra ak nou pou tout tan. M’a ban nou benediksyon mwen te pwomèt David yo.
4 Gade. Mwen te fè l’ chèf pou l’ te kòmande nasyon yo. Mwen te fè l’ sèvi m’ temwen nan mitan yo.
5 Gade, ou pral rele nasyon ou pa t’ konnen. Nasyon ki pa t’ konnen ou pral kouri vin jwenn ou. Se mwen menm, Seyè a, Bondye ou la, Bondye apa pèp Izrayèl la, k’ap fè sa rive konsa, paske m’ap leve ou anlè.
6 Tounen vin jwenn Seyè a, pandan nou ka jwenn li an. Lapriyè nan pye l’ pandan li toupre nou an.
7 Se pou mechan yo kite move chemen y’ap swiv la. Se pou malveyan yo wete move lide k’ap travay nan tèt yo. Se pou yo tounen vin jwenn Seyè a ki va gen pitye pou yo. Se pou yo tounen vin jwenn Bondye nou an, paske l’ap padonnen tou sa yo fè.
8 Lide pa m’ pa menm ak lide pa nou. Chemen pa nou pa menm ak chemen pa m’. Se Seyè a menm ki di sa.
9 Menm jan syèl la byen lwen anwo latè, se konsa lide pa m’ byen lwen anwo lide pa nou, chemen pa m’ byen lwen chemen pa nou.
10 Gade! Lapli ak lawouze soti nan syèl la, yo pa tounen kote yo soti a san yo pa wouze latè, san yo pa fè l’ donnen, san yo pa fè plant yo pouse pou bay kiltivatè yo grenn pou yo simen ak manje pou yo manje.
11 Konsa tou pou pawòl ki soti nan bouch mwen: li p’ap tounen vin jwenn mwen san li pa fè sa m’ te vle l’ fè a, san li pa fè tou sa mwen te voye l’ fè a.
12 N’a kite lavil Babilòn ak kè kontan. Y’a mennen nou tounen lakay nou ak kè poze. Gwo mòn yo ak ti mòn yo va pran chante pou nou sitèlman y’a kontan. Tout pyebwa nan plenn yo va bat bravo pou nou!
13 Pye pichpen va pouse kote ki te plen pikan. Pye ilan-ilan va pouse kote ki te plen chadwon. Sa va sèvi yon lwanj pou Seyè a, yon remak k’ap la pou tout tan, yon siy pesonn p’ap ka detwi.

Ésaïe 55
1 Vous tous qui avez soif, venez aux eaux, Même celui qui n’a pas d’argent! Venez, achetez et mangez, Venez, achetez du vin et du lait, sans argent, sans rien payer!
2 Pourquoi pesez-vous de l’argent pour ce qui ne nourrit pas? Pourquoi travaillez-vous pour ce qui ne rassasie pas? Écoutez-moi donc, et vous mangerez ce qui est bon, Et votre âme se délectera de mets succulents.
3 Prêtez l’oreille, et venez à moi, Écoutez, et votre âme vivra: Je traiterai avec vous une alliance éternelle, Pour rendre durables mes faveurs envers David.
4 Voici, je l’ai établi comme témoin auprès des peuples, Comme chef et dominateur des peuples.
5 Voici, tu appelleras des nations que tu ne connais pas, Et les nations qui ne te connaissent pas accourront vers toi, A cause de l’Éternel, ton Dieu, Du Saint d’Israël, qui te glorifie.
6 Cherchez l’Éternel pendant qu’il se trouve; Invoquez-le, tandis qu’il est près.
7 Que le méchant abandonne sa voie, Et l’homme d’iniquité ses pensées; Qu’il retourne à l’Éternel, qui aura pitié de lui, A notre Dieu, qui ne se lasse pas de pardonner.
8 Car mes pensées ne sont pas vos pensées, Et vos voies ne sont pas mes voies, Dit l’Éternel.
9 Autant les cieux sont élevés au-dessus de la terre, Autant mes voies sont élevées au-dessus de vos voies, Et mes pensées au-dessus de vos pensées.
10 Comme la pluie et la neige descendent des cieux, Et n’y retournent pas Sans avoir arrosé, fécondé la terre, et fait germer les plantes, Sans avoir donné de la semence au semeur Et du pain à celui qui mange,
11 Ainsi en est-il de ma parole, qui sort de ma bouche: Elle ne retourne point à moi sans effet, Sans avoir exécuté ma volonté Et accompli mes desseins.
12 Oui, vous sortirez avec joie, Et vous serez conduits en paix; Les montagnes et les collines éclateront d’allégresse devant vous, Et tous les arbres de la campagne battront des mains.
13 Au lieu de l’épine s’élèvera le cyprès, Au lieu de la ronce croîtra le myrte; Et ce sera pour l’Éternel une gloire, Un monument perpétuel, impérissable.

Isaiah 55
1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
4 Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
5 Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the Lord thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
