1 Lè fèt la fini, tout moun pèp Izrayèl ki te la yo ale nan tout lavil pèyi Jida yo. Yo kraze moniman wòch yo, yo jete estati zidòl Achera yo, yo demoli dènye tanp ak lotèl kote yo fè sèvis pou zidòl yo. Yo mache fè sa nan tout peyi Jida a, nan peyi moun Benjamen, moun Efrayim ak moun Manase yo. Lèfini, tout moun pèp Izrayèl yo tounen lakay yo nan peyi pa yo.
2 Apre sa, Ezekyas separe prèt yo ak moun Levi yo an gwoup ankò. Li bay chak gwoup lè pou yo pran sèvis yonn apre lòt. Nan chak gwoup, chak moun te gen travay pa yo pou fè lè y’ap boule bèt nèt pou Seyè a, lè y’ap fè ofrann pou mande Bondye padon, lè y’ap di Bondye mèsi, lè y’ap fè lwanj li, lè y’ap sèvi l’ nan papòt Tanp Seyè a.
3 Apre sa, li pran nan bèt ki pou li yo li bay pou yo boule nèt pou Seyè a chak maten, chak aswè, pou ofrann jou repo yo, pou fèt lalin nouvèl ak pou lòt gwo jou fèt yo, jan sa ekri nan Lalwa Seyè a.
4 Lèfini, li mande moun ki rete lavil Jerizalèm yo pou yo fè ofrann pou prèt ak moun Levi yo, pou mesye sa yo ka bay tout tan yo nan fè travay yo, jan Lalwa Seyè a mande l’ la.
5 Lè nouvèl la gaye, moun pèp Izrayèl yo pote premye sa yo rekolte nan ble, nan diven, nan lwil oliv, nan siwo myèl ak nan tout lòt danre jaden yo an kantite. Lèfini, yo pote yon dizyèm sou tou sa yo te genyen.
6 Tout moun peyi Izrayèl ak moun peyi Jida ki t’ap viv nan lòt lavil peyi Jida yo te bay yon bèt pou chak dis bèf osinon kabrit ak mouton yo te genyen. Yo pote yon dizyèm nan tout bagay yo te mete apa pou Bondye, sèl Mèt yo a. Yo pote yo fè pil sou pil.
7 Yo konmanse pote kado yo depi nan twazyèm mwa a rive sou setyèm mwa a.
8 Lè wa Ezekyas ak chèf li yo wè kantite bagay moun yo te bay, yo di Bondye mèsi, yo fè lwanj pou pèp Izrayèl la, pèp Bondye a.
9 Lè sa a, Ezekyas pale ak prèt yo ansanm ak moun Levi yo sou koze ofrann yo.
10 Azarya, granprèt la, moun fanmi Zadòk yo, di l’ konsa: -Depi lè pèp la konmanse ap pote ofrann nan Tanp lan, gen kont manje pou moun manje. Lèfini, rete yon bon kantite, paske Seyè a beni pèp li a. Sa ki rete la a, se sa ki te anplis la.
11 Ezekyas bay lòd pou yo pare kèk pyès nan Tanp lan pou sèvi depo. Lè depo yo fin pare,
12 li fè mete tout sa yo te pran sou rekòt yo, tout ladim yo ak tout bagay yo te mete apa pou Bondye yo ladan yo. Yo mete Konanya, yon moun Levi, chèf reskonsab ak Chimèyi, frè li, pou adjwen.
13 Yo chwazi dis moun pou travay sou lòd Konanya ak Chimèyi, frè li a, dapre lòd wa a ak Azarya, prèt reskonsab Tanp lan, te bay. Se te Jeiyèl, Azaryawou, Nakat, Asayèl, Jerimòt, Jozaba, Eliyèl, Jismakya, Makat ak Benaja.
14 Kore, pitit Jimna a, yon moun Levi ki te chèf gad nan Pòtay sou solèy leve Tanp lan, te reskonsab resevwa kado moun yo te ofri pou Seyè a paske yo te vle. Se li tou ki pou te separe ofrann yo te fè pou Seyè a ak pòsyon yo te mete apa nèt pou Seyè a.
15 Nan lòt lavil kote prèt yo rete a, men moun ki te toujou la pou ede Kore: Se te Edèn, Menjamin, Jechwa, Chemaja, Amarya ak Chekanya. Se yo menm ki pou te separe manje a bay moun Levi parèy yo, gran kou piti, dapre travay yo gen pou fè.
16 Non sèlman yo te bay tout moun Levi ki te gen non yo pote nan rejis fanmi yo, depi sa ki gen twazan laj pou pi piti, pòsyon manje pa yo, men yo te bay chak gwoup moun Levi ki te travay nan Tanp Seyè a chak jou, dapre jou travay yo ak dapre travay yo gen pou fè.
17 Prèt yo te enskri dapre fanmi yo. Men moun Levi yo, depi sa ki gen ventan pou pi piti, te enskri dapre travay pou yo fè ak jou pou yo travay.
18 Yo tout te enskri ansanm ak pitit gason yo, pitit fi yo, madanm yo ak tout moun ki sou kont yo, pou yo te ka bay tout tan yo pou travay nan Tanp Bondye a.
19 Yo te chwazi moun tou pou mete reskonsab separe manje bay tout prèt yo, moun fanmi Arawon yo, ak moun Levi ki te enskri nan rejis yo epi ki t’ap viv andeyò nan vwazinaj lavil prèt yo.
20 Se konsa Ezekyas te fè nan tout peyi Jida a. Li te fè sa ki byen, sa ki dwat ak tout kè li devan Seyè a, Bondye li a.
21 Nan tou sa li te fè pou sèvis Tanp Bondye a, pou lalwa ak pou kòmandman Bondye yo, li te chache fè volonte Bondye ak tout kè li. Se poutèt sa tout bagay te mache byen pou li.

1 Lorsque tout cela fut terminé, tous ceux d’Israël qui étaient présents partirent pour les villes de Juda, et ils brisèrent les statues, abattirent les idoles, et renversèrent entièrement les hauts lieux et les autels dans tout Juda et Benjamin et dans Éphraïm et Manassé. Puis tous les enfants d’Israël retournèrent dans leurs villes, chacun dans sa propriété.
2 Ézéchias rétablit les classes des sacrificateurs et des Lévites d’après leurs divisions, chacun selon ses fonctions, sacrificateurs et Lévites, pour les holocaustes et les sacrifices d’actions de grâces, pour le service, pour les chants et les louanges, aux portes du camp de l’Éternel.
3 Le roi donna une portion de ses biens pour les holocaustes, pour les holocaustes du matin et du soir, et pour les holocaustes des sabbats, des nouvelles lunes et des fêtes, comme il est écrit dans la loi de l’Éternel.
4 Et il dit au peuple, aux habitants de Jérusalem, de donner la portion des sacrificateurs et des Lévites, afin qu’ils observassent fidèlement la loi de l’Éternel.
5 Lorsque la chose fut répandue, les enfants d’Israël donnèrent en abondance les prémices du blé, du moût, de l’huile, du miel, et de tous les produits des champs; ils apportèrent aussi en abondance la dîme de tout.
6 De même, les enfants d’Israël et de Juda qui demeuraient dans les villes de Juda donnèrent la dîme du gros et du menu bétail, et la dîme des choses saintes qui étaient consacrées à l’Éternel, leur Dieu, et dont on fit plusieurs tas.
7 On commença à former les tas au troisième mois, et l’on acheva au septième mois.
8 Ézéchias et les chefs vinrent voir les tas, et ils bénirent l’Éternel et son peuple d’Israël.
9 Et Ézéchias interrogea les sacrificateurs et les Lévites au sujet de ces tas.
10 Alors le souverain sacrificateur Azaria, de la maison de Tsadok, lui répondit: Depuis qu’on a commencé d’apporter les offrandes dans la maison de l’Éternel, nous avons mangé, nous nous sommes rassasiés, et nous en avons beaucoup laissé, car l’Éternel a béni son peuple; et voici la grande quantité qu’il y a de reste.
11 Ézéchias donna l’ordre de préparer des chambres dans la maison de l’Éternel; et on les prépara.
12 On y apporta fidèlement les offrandes, la dîme, et les choses saintes. Le Lévite Conania en eut l’intendance, et son frère Schimeï était en second.
13 Jehiel, Azazia, Nachath, Asaël, Jerimoth, Jozabad, Éliel, Jismakia, Machath et Benaja étaient employés sous la direction de Conania et de son frère Schimeï, d’après l’ordre du roi Ézéchias, et d’Azaria, chef de la maison de Dieu.
14 Le Lévite Koré, fils de Jimna, portier de l’orient, avait l’intendance des dons volontaires faits à Dieu, pour distribuer ce qui était présenté à l’Éternel par élévation et les choses très saintes.
15 Dans les villes sacerdotales, Éden, Minjamin, Josué, Schemaeja, Amaria et Schecania étaient placés sous sa direction pour faire fidèlement les distributions à leurs frères, grands et petits, selon leurs divisions:
16 aux mâles enregistrés depuis l’âge de trois ans et au-dessus; à tous ceux qui entraient journellement dans la maison de l’Éternel pour faire leur service selon leurs fonctions et selon leurs divisions;
17 aux sacrificateurs enregistrés d’après leurs maisons paternelles, et aux Lévites de vingt ans et au-dessus, selon leurs fonctions et selon leurs divisions;
18 à ceux de toute l’assemblée enregistrés avec tous leurs petits enfants, leurs femmes, leurs fils et leurs filles, car ils se consacraient fidèlement au service du sanctuaire.
19 Et pour les fils d’Aaron, les sacrificateurs, qui demeuraient à la campagne dans les banlieues de leurs villes, il y avait dans chaque ville des hommes désignés par leurs noms pour distribuer les portions à tous les mâles des sacrificateurs et à tous les Lévites enregistrés.
20 Voilà ce que fit Ézéchias dans tout Juda; il fit ce qui est bien, ce qui est droit, ce qui est vrai, devant l’Éternel, son Dieu.
21 Il agit de tout son coeur, et il réussit dans tout ce qu’il entreprit, en recherchant son Dieu, pour le service de la maison de Dieu, pour la loi et pour les commandements.

1 Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.
2 And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the Lord.
3 He appointed also the king’s portion of his substance for the burnt offerings, to wit, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written in the law of the Lord.
4 Moreover he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the Lord.
5 And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
6 And concerning the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated unto the Lord their God, and laid them by heaps.
7 In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month.
8 And when Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed the Lord, and his people Israel.
9 Then Hezekiah questioned with the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.
10 And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and said, Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the Lord, we have had enough to eat, and have left plenty: for the Lord hath blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.
11 Then Hezekiah commanded to prepare chambers in the house of the Lord; and they prepared them,
12 And brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully: over which Cononiah the Levite was ruler, and Shimei his brother was the next.
13 And Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, were overseers under the hand of Cononiah and Shimei his brother, at the commandment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah the ruler of the house of God.
14 And Kore the son of Imnah the Levite, the porter toward the east, was over the freewill offerings of God, to distribute the oblations of the Lord, and the most holy things.
15 And next him were Eden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, in the cities of the priests, in their set office, to give to their brethren by courses, as well to the great as to the small:
16 Beside their genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even unto every one that entereth into the house of the Lord, his daily portion for their service in their charges according to their courses;
17 Both to the genealogy of the priests by the house of their fathers, and the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their charges by their courses;
18 And to the genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation: for in their set office they sanctified themselves in holiness:
19 Also of the sons of Aaron the priests, which were in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all that were reckoned by genealogies among the Levites.
20 And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought that which was good and right and truth before the Lord his God.
21 And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.
