1 Antan Moyiz ak Arawon te nan peyi Lejip la, Seyè a di yo:
2 -Se mwa sa a k’ap premye mwa pou nou nan lanne a. Se limenm k’ap anvan tout lòt mwa yo.
3 Pale tout moun pèp Izrayèl la. Di yo: sou dizyèm jou mwa sa a, n’a pran yon ti mouton pou chak fanmi, tande byen wi, yon ti mouton pou chak kay.
4 Si pa gen kont moun nan kay la pou manje tout ti mouton an, se pou yo mete tèt yo ansanm ak vwazinaj ki pi pre kay la. N’a kalkile kantite moun ki nesesè pou manje mouton an, sa chak moun ka manje.
5 Se pou ti bèt nou chwazi a yon timal ki gen ennan, epi ki pa gen ankenn enfimite, li te mèt mouton, li te mèt kabrit.
6 N’a gade l’ apa jouk sou katòzyèm jou mwa a. Jou sa a, nan aswè, tout moun Izrayèl yo va touye ti bèt la anvan li fin fè nwa.
7 N’a pran ti gout nan san bèt la, n’a pase l’ sou de chanbrann pòt kay la ansanm ak sou travès lento pòt la, nan kay kote n’ap manje ti bèt la.
8 Menm nwit sa a, n’a boukannen vyann lan. Apre sa, n’a manje l’ avèk pen ki fèt san ledven epi ak fèy lanman.
9 Piga nou manje vyann lan ni manke kwit ni bouyi. Se boukannen pou nou boukannen l’ tout ankè ak tout tonbe a.
10 Pa kite anyen pou denmen maten. Si rete rès, se pou nou boule l’ nan dife.
11 Men ki jan pou nou ranje kò nou pou nou manje l’: n’a mare ren nou, sapat nou nan pye nou, baton nou nan men nou. Se pou nou manje l’ prese prese, paske se lè sa a Seyè a ap pase.
12 Jou lannwit sa a, m’ap pase nan tout peyi Lejip la, m’ap touye tout premye pitit gason ak tout premye pitit bèt yo ki nan peyi a. M’ap regle tout bondye peyi Lejip yo. Se mwen menm ki Seyè a.
13 San nou pase sou pòt yo va make kay kote nou ye a. Lè m’a wè san an, m’a sote kay nou. Konsa, lè m’ap frape peyi Lejip la, chatiman an p’ap tonbe sou nou tou.
14 Jou sa a, se yon jou pou nou pa janm bliye. Se pou nou fete l’ tankou yon fèt pou Seyè a, chak lè lè a va rive. Se pou nou pase yon lwa pou nou toujou fete fèt sa a, nou menm ak tout pitit pitit nou yo.
15 Pandan sèt jou, se pou nou manje pen ki fèt san ledven. Depi premye jou nan mwa a, n’a wete tout ledven anndan lakay nou, paske depi premye jou a, rive sou setyèm jou a, si yon moun gen malè manje pen ki gen ledven ladan l’, se pou yo disparèt li nan mitan pèp Izrayèl la.
16 Sou premye jou a ak sou setyèm jou a, n’a reyini pou nou lapriyè. Jou sa yo, nou p’ap fè ankenn travay. Manje ase n’a fè pou tout moun manje.
17 N’a toujou fete fèt pen san ledven an, paske se jou sa a mwen te fè tout lame moun nou yo soti kite peyi Lejip. N’a toujou fete fèt sa a, de pitit an pitit tankou yon lwa ki la pou tout tan.
18 Nan premye mwa a, depi katòzyèm jou a nan aswè rive jouk sou venteyenyèm jou a nan aswè tou, se pen san ledven pou nou manje.
19 Pandan sèt jou sa yo, p’ap gen ledven lakay nou paske nenpòt moun ki va gen malè manje pen ki gen ledven, yo gen pou yo disparèt li nan mitan pèp Izrayèl la, kit se yon etranje, kit se yonn nan nou.
20 Se pa pou nou manje pen ki gen ledven. Lakay nou, se pou tout moun manje pen san ledven.
21 Moyiz rele tout chèf fanmi pèp Izrayèl la, li di yo: -Se pou chak moun al chache yon ti mouton osinon yon ti kabrit pou yo touye pou fèt delivrans lan pou fanmi nou.
22 Apre sa, n’a pran yon branch izòp, n’a tranpe l’ nan kivèt ki gen san bèt la. N’a pase l’ sou de chanbrann pòt la ak sou travès lento a. Apre sa, piga pesonn soti deyò lakay yo jouk li jou.
23 Konsa, lè Seyè a va pase nan peyi Lejip la pou touye moun peyi Lejip yo, l’a wè san an sou chanbrann yo ak sou lento a, l’ap pase devan pòt la, li p’ap kite moun ki reskonsab pou touye a antre lakay nou pou touye nou.
24 N’a fè tout bagay sa yo sèvi tankou yon lwa ki la pou tout tan, ni pou nou ni pou pitit nou yo.
25 Lè n’a antre nan peyi Seyè a pral ban nou an, jan l’ te pwomèt la, se pou nou toujou fè seremoni sa a.
26 Lè timoun nou yo va mande nou sa seremoni sa a vle di,
27 n’a reponn yo: Se fèt Delivrans lan n’ap fete pou Seyè a, paske li te sote kay moun pèp Izrayèl yo nan peyi Lejip, lè li t’ap touye moun peyi Lejip yo. Konsa li pa t’ fè nou anyen. Apre tout pawòl sa yo, tout moun pèp Izrayèl yo met ajenou, yo bese tèt yo atè pou adore Seyè a.
28 Lèfini, yo leve, y’ ale, yo fè tou sa Seyè a te bay Moyiz ak Arawon lòd fè a. Wi, yo fè tout bagay jan li te bay lòd la.
29 Nan mitan lannwit, Seyè a touye tout premye pitit gason moun peyi Lejip yo, depi premye pitit gason farawon an ki chita sou fotèy la, jouk premye pitit gason prizonye ki te nan kacho. Tout premye pitit bèt yo tou te mouri.
30 Jou lannwit sa a, farawon an leve, li menm, tout chèf li yo ansanm ak tout pèp peyi Lejip la. Yon gwo rèl pete toupatou nan peyi Lejip, paske pa t’ gen yon kay ki pa t’ gen lanmò.
31 Nan mitan lannwit lan, farawon an fè rele Moyiz ak Arawon, li di yo: -Leve, ale fè wout nou! Wete kò nou nan mitan pèp mwen an, nou menm ansanm ak moun pèp Izrayèl la. Ale, mwen di nou. Al fè sèvis pou Seyè a jan nou te di a.
32 Nou mèt pran mouton nou ak bèf nou yo, jan nou te di l’ la. Epi mande Bondye pou l’ beni mwen.
33 Moun peyi Lejip yo te cho cho dèyè moun pèp Izrayèl yo pou fè yo prese kite peyi a. Yo t’ap di: -Si nou pa ale, nou tout ap mouri!
34 Se konsa pèp Izrayèl la pran pa t’ farin lan san yo pa t’ ankò mete ledven ladan l’. Yo mete yo sou platin fou yo, yo vlope yo nan rad yo, yo mete yo sou zepòl yo.
35 Moun pèp Izrayèl yo te fè sa Moyiz te di yo a. Yo mande moun peyi Lejip yo bijou an ajan, bijou an lò ansanm ak rad.
36 Seyè a te fè moun peyi Lejip yo gen kè sansib pou pèp Izrayèl la. Yo ba yo tou sa yo te mande. Se konsa pèp Izrayèl la pran tout bagay moun peyi Lejip yo.
37 Moun pèp Izrayèl yo pati kite Ranmsès pou Soukòt. Te gen sisanmil (600,000) moun konsa, san konte fanm ak timoun. Yo tout te apye.
38 Te gen anpil moun lòt peyi tou ki te pati ansanm ak yo. Te gen anpil mouton, kabrit ak bèf tou.
39 Avèk pa t’ farin yo te pote soti peyi Lejip la, yo fè pen. Pen yo te san ledven, paske yo te prese mete yo deyò nan peyi Lejip la. Yo pa t’ menm gen tan fè pwovizyon.
40 Moun pèp Izrayèl yo te pase katsantrantan nan peyi Lejip la.
41 Menm jou ki te fè yo katsantrantan nan peyi a, jou pou jou, tout lame moun Seyè a soti kite peyi Lejip la.
42 Se te yon jou lannwit. Seyè a te pase tout nwit la ap veye pou fè yo soti kite peyi Lejip la. Se poutèt sa, se pou yo mete nwit sa a apa pou yo fè veye pou Seyè a. Se bagay pou yo toujou fè de pitit an pitit.
43 Seyè a di Moyiz ak Arawon konsa: -Men ki jan pou yo fete fèt Delivrans lan. Pou konmanse, ankenn moun lòt nasyon pa gen dwa patisipe ladan l’.
44 Domestik nou achte pou sèvis lakay nou, lè nou fin sikonsi yo, yo mèt patisipe.
45 Men, ni moun lòt nasyon ki depasaj lakay nou, ni domestik k’ap travay pou lajan pa ka patisipe nan fèt la.
46 Se pou nou manje manje Delivrans lan anndan kay. Vyann lan pa fèt pou soti deyò menm. Ni nou pa fèt pou kraze ankenn zo bèt nou touye yo.
47 Se pou tout pèp Izrayèl la nèt fete fèt sa a.
48 Si gen yon moun lòt nasyon ki rete nan peyi a epi ki ta vle fete fèt Delivrans lan pou Seyè a, men sa pou nou fè: Sè pou nou sikonsi tout gason lakay li anvan. Apre sa, l’a gen dwa fete fèt Delivrans lan. y’a konsidere l’ tankou moun natif natal pèp Izrayèl la. Si yon gason pa sikonsi, li pa ka patisipe nan fèt la.
49 Lòd sa a bon ni pou natif natal yo ni pou moun lòt nasyon ki rete nan peyi a nan mitan nou.
50 Tout moun pèp Izrayèl yo te swiv lòd la, yo te fè sa Seyè a te bay Moyiz ak Arawon lòd fè a.
51 Se jou sa a Seyè a te fè tout lame moun Izrayèl yo soti kite peyi Lejip la.

Exode 12
1 L’Éternel dit à Moïse et à Aaron dans le pays d’Égypte:
2 Ce mois-ci sera pour vous le premier des mois; il sera pour vous le premier des mois de l’année.
3 Parlez à toute l’assemblée d’Israël, et dites: Le dixième jour de ce mois, on prendra un agneau pour chaque famille, un agneau pour chaque maison.
4 Si la maison est trop peu nombreuse pour un agneau, on le prendra avec son plus proche voisin, selon le nombre des personnes; vous compterez pour cet agneau d’après ce que chacun peut manger.
5 Ce sera un agneau sans défaut, mâle, âgé d’un an; vous pourrez prendre un agneau ou un chevreau.
6 Vous le garderez jusqu’au quatorzième jour de ce mois; et toute l’assemblée d’Israël l’immolera entre les deux soirs.
7 On prendra de son sang, et on en mettra sur les deux poteaux et sur le linteau de la porte des maisons où on le mangera.
8 Cette même nuit, on en mangera la chair, rôtie au feu; on la mangera avec des pains sans levain et des herbes amères.
9 Vous ne le mangerez point à demi cuit et bouilli dans l’eau; mais il sera rôti au feu, avec la tête, les jambes et l’intérieur.
10 Vous n’en laisserez rien jusqu’au matin; et, s’il en reste quelque chose le matin, vous le brûlerez au feu.
11 Quand vous le mangerez, vous aurez vos reins ceints, vos souliers aux pieds, et votre bâton à la main; et vous le mangerez à la hâte. C’est la Pâque de l’Éternel.
12 Cette nuit-là, je passerai dans le pays d’Égypte, et je frapperai tous les premiers-nés du pays d’Égypte, depuis les hommes jusqu’aux animaux, et j’exercerai des jugements contre tous les dieux de l’Égypte. Je suis l’Éternel.
13 Le sang vous servira de signe sur les maisons où vous serez; je verrai le sang, et je passerai par-dessus vous, et il n’y aura point de plaie qui vous détruise, quand je frapperai le pays d’Égypte.
14 Vous conserverez le souvenir de ce jour, et vous le célébrerez par une fête en l’honneur de l’Éternel; vous le célébrerez comme une loi perpétuelle pour vos descendants.
15 Pendant sept jours, vous mangerez des pains sans levain. Dès le premier jour, il n’y aura plus de levain dans vos maisons; car toute personne qui mangera du pain levé, du premier jour au septième jour, sera retranchée d’Israël.
16 Le premier jour, vous aurez une sainte convocation; et le septième jour, vous aurez une sainte convocation. On ne fera aucun travail ces jours-là; vous pourrez seulement préparer la nourriture de chaque personne.
17 Vous observerez la fête des pains sans levain, car c’est en ce jour même que j’aurai fait sortir vos armées du pays d’Égypte; vous observerez ce jour comme une loi perpétuelle pour vos descendants.
18 Le premier mois, le quatorzième jour du mois, au soir, vous mangerez des pains sans levain jusqu’au soir du vingt et unième jour.
19 Pendant sept jours, il ne se trouvera point de levain dans vos maisons; car toute personne qui mangera du pain levé sera retranchée de l’assemblée d’Israël, que ce soit un étranger ou un indigène.
20 Vous ne mangerez point de pain levé; dans toutes vos demeures, vous mangerez des pains sans levain.
21 Moïse appela tous les anciens d’Israël, et leur dit: Allez prendre du bétail pour vos familles, et immolez la Pâque.
22 Vous prendrez ensuite un bouquet d’hysope, vous le tremperez dans le sang qui sera dans le bassin, et vous toucherez le linteau et les deux poteaux de la porte avec le sang qui sera dans le bassin. Nul de vous ne sortira de sa maison jusqu’au matin.
23 Quand l’Éternel passera pour frapper l’Égypte, et verra le sang sur le linteau et sur les deux poteaux, l’Éternel passera par-dessus la porte, et il ne permettra pas au destructeur d’entrer dans vos maisons pour frapper.
24 Vous observerez cela comme une loi pour vous et pour vos enfants à perpétuité.
25 Quand vous serez entrés dans le pays que l’Éternel vous donnera, selon sa promesse, vous observerez cet usage sacré.
26 Et lorsque vos enfants vous diront: Que signifie pour vous cet usage?
27 vous répondrez: C’est le sacrifice de Pâque en l’honneur de l’Éternel, qui a passé par-dessus les maisons des enfants d’Israël en Égypte, lorsqu’il frappa l’Égypte et qu’il sauva nos maisons. Le peuple s’inclina et se prosterna.
28 Et les enfants d’Israël s’en allèrent, et firent ce que l’Éternel avait ordonné à Moïse et à Aaron; ils firent ainsi.
29 Au milieu de la nuit, l’Éternel frappa tous les premiers-nés dans le pays d’Égypte, depuis le premier-né de Pharaon assis sur son trône, jusqu’au premier-né du captif dans sa prison, et jusqu’à tous les premiers-nés des animaux.
30 Pharaon se leva de nuit, lui et tous ses serviteurs, et tous les Égyptiens; et il y eut de grands cris en Égypte, car il n’y avait point de maison où il n’y eût un mort.
31 Dans la nuit même, Pharaon appela Moïse et Aaron, et leur dit: Levez-vous, sortez du milieu de mon peuple, vous et les enfants d’Israël. Allez, servez l’Éternel, comme vous l’avez dit.
32 Prenez vos brebis et vos boeufs, comme vous l’avez dit; allez, et bénissez-moi.
33 Les Égyptiens pressaient le peuple, et avaient hâte de le renvoyer du pays, car ils disaient: Nous périrons tous.
34 Le peuple emporta sa pâte avant qu’elle fût levée. Ils enveloppèrent les pétrins dans leurs vêtements, et les mirent sur leurs épaules.
35 Les enfants d’Israël firent ce que Moïse avait dit, et ils demandèrent aux Égyptiens des vases d’argent, des vases d’or et des vêtements.
36 L’Éternel fit trouver grâce au peuple aux yeux des Égyptiens, qui se rendirent à leur demande. Et ils dépouillèrent les Égyptiens.
37 Les enfants d’Israël partirent de Ramsès pour Succoth au nombre d’environ six cent mille hommes de pied, sans les enfants.
38 Une multitude de gens de toute espèce montèrent avec eux; ils avaient aussi des troupeaux considérables de brebis et de boeufs.
39 Ils firent des gâteaux cuits sans levain avec la pâte qu’ils avaient emportée d’Égypte, et qui n’était pas levée; car ils avaient été chassés d’Égypte, sans pouvoir tarder, et sans prendre des provisions avec eux.
40 Le séjour des enfants d’Israël en Égypte fut de quatre cent trente ans.
41 Et au bout de quatre cent trente ans, le jour même, toutes les armées de l’Éternel sortirent du pays d’Égypte.
42 Cette nuit sera célébrée en l’honneur de l’Éternel, parce qu’il les fit sortir du pays d’Égypte; cette nuit sera célébrée en l’honneur de l’Éternel par tous les enfants d’Israël et par leurs descendants.
43 L’Éternel dit à Moïse et à Aaron: Voici une ordonnance au sujet de la Pâque: Aucun étranger n’en mangera.
44 Tu circonciras tout esclave acquis à prix d’argent; alors il en mangera.
45 L’habitant et le mercenaire n’en mangeront point.
46 On ne la mangera que dans la maison; vous n’emporterez point de chair hors de la maison, et vous ne briserez aucun os.
47 Toute l’assemblée d’Israël fera la Pâque.
48 Si un étranger en séjour chez toi veut faire la Pâque de l’Éternel, tout mâle de sa maison devra être circoncis; alors il s’approchera pour la faire, et il sera comme l’indigène; mais aucun incirconcis n’en mangera.
49 La même loi existera pour l’indigène comme pour l’étranger en séjour au milieu de vous.
50 Tous les enfants d’Israël firent ce que l’Éternel avait ordonné à Moïse et à Aaron; ils firent ainsi.
51 Et ce même jour l’Éternel fit sortir du pays d’Égypte les enfants d’Israël, selon leurs armées.

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying,
2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.
7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.
10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the Lord‘s passover.
12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.
13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
16 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.
17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
20 Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.
21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.
22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.
23 For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.
24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.
25 And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the Lord will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.
26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?
27 That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the Lord‘s passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
28 And the children of Israel went away, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.
30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as ye have said.
32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.
33 And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.
34 And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.
35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:
36 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.
37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.
38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.
39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.
40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.
41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.
42 It is a night to be much observed unto the Lord for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the Lord to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.
43 And the Lord said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:
44 But every man’s servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.
45 A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.
46 In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.
47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.
50 Thus did all the children of Israel; as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
51 And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the Lord did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.
