1 Apre sa, Jezi mache ale nan tout lavil yo ak nan tout bouk yo. Li t’ap mache bay mesaj la, li t’ap anonse bon nouvèl peyi kote Bondye Wa a. Douz disip yo te toujou avè li.
2 Te gen kèk fanm avè l’ tou. Se moun li te wete move lespri sou yo, li te geri maladi yo. Te gen Mari (yo te rele moun Magdala a). Jezi te wete sèt move lespri sou li.
3 Te gen Jan, madanm Chouza, yonn nan jeran Ewòd yo. Te gen Sizan ak anpil lòt ankò. Yo tout yo t’ap ede Jezi ansanm ak disip li yo ak sa yo te genyen.
4 Lè sa a, te gen yon gwo foul moun ki te sanble; moun te soti nan divès vil vin bò kot Jezi. Li pran rakonte yo parabòl sa a:
5 Yon nonm soti pou li ale simen grenn nan jaden li. Pandan l’ t’ap simen grenn yo, kèk grenn tonbe bò chemen an: Pye pile yo, zwezo nan syèl vini, yo manje yo.
6 Yon pati tonbe nan mitan wòch; grenn yo leve. Men, yo cheche paske yo pa t’ jwenn tè fre.
7 Yon lòt pati tonbe nan mitan pye pikan. Pye pikan yo grandi ansanm ak bon ti plant yo, yo toufe yo.
8 Men, yon lòt pati ankò tonbe nan bon tè. Plant yo leve, yo donnen: yo bay san (100) pou yonn. Lè l’ fin di sa, li di ankò: Si nou gen zòrèy pou n’ tande, tande.
9 Disip li yo mande l’ kisa parabòl sa a vle di.
10 Li reponn yo: Pou nou, yo fè nou konnen tout sekrè peyi kote Bondye Wa a. Men, pou lòt moun yo, yo ba yo l’ an parabòl; konsa yo mèt gade, yo p’ap wè, yo mèt tande, yo p’ap konprann.
11 Men sa parabòl sa a vle di: Grenn y’ap simen an se pawòl Bondye.
12 Gen moun ki sanble ak tè bò chemen kote grenn yo tonbe a. Yo tande, men Satan vini, li rache pawòl la nan kè yo pou yo pa kwè, pou yo pa sove.
13 Gen lòt moun ki sanble tè ki gen anpil wòch la. Yo tande pawòl la, yo resevwa l’ ak kè kontan; men yo pa kite l’ pouse rasin, yo pa kwè l’ pou lontan. Lè eprèv tonbe sou yo, yo vire do bay Bondye.
14 Grenn ki tonbe nan mitan pikan yo, se moun ki tande pawòl la, men lè y al fè wout yo, yo kite traka lavi, richès ak plezi ki nan lavi toufè l’. Yo donnen men donn yo pa janm rive rèk.
15 Grenn ki tonbe nan bon tè a, se moun ki sensè, ki gen bon kè, ki tande pawòl la, yo kenbe l’ nan kè yo. Yo toujou rete fèm jouk yo donnen.
16 Pesonn pa limen yon lanp pou l’ kouvri l’ anba yon mamit, osinon pou l’ mete l’ anba yon kabann. Li mete l’ sou yon etajè. Konsa, moun k’ap antre yo kapab wè limyè a.
17 Nanpwen anyen ki kache ki p’ap devwale, nanpwen sekrè pou moun pa rive konnen, ki p’ap parèt aklè.
18 Se poutèt sa, fè atansyon jan n’ap tande pawòl la. Paske, moun ki genyen deja a, y’a ba li ankò. Men, moun ki pa gen anyen an, y’a wete nan men l’ menm ti sa l’ te kwè li te genyen an.
19 Manman Jezi ak frè l’ yo te vin kote li. Men, yo pa t’ kapab rive pre li akòz foul moun yo.
20 Moun yo di l’ konsa: Men manman ou ak frè ou yo deyò a. Yo anvi wè ou.
21 Men, Jezi di yo tout: Manman m’ ak frè m’, se moun ki koute pawòl Bondye a epi ki fè sa pawòl la di.
22 Yon jou, Jezi moute nan yon kannòt ak disip li yo. Li di yo: Ann janbe lòt bò letan an. Lamenm yo pati.
23 Pandan yo t’ap navige, dòmi pran Jezi. Yon gwo van vin leve sou letan an, dlo kòmanse plen kannòt la, kifè lavi yo tout te an danje.
24 Yo pwoche bò kot Jezi yo souke l’, yo di li: Mèt, Mèt, se mouri n’ap mouri wi! Jezi leve, li pale byen fò ak van an ansanm ak lanm lanmè yo: tout bagay vin byen trankil, yon gwo kalmi fèt.
25 Epi Jezi di yo: Kote konfyans nou ye? Men, yo te pè, yo te sezi. Yonn t’ap di lòt konsa: Ki moun li ye menm? Li kòmande menm van ak lanmè, yo obeyi li.
26 Yo fè tè nan peyi Jerazenyen yo ki lòt bò letan an, vizaviz ak Galile.
27 Jezi desann atè. Lamenm yon nonm lavil la vin devan l’: nonm lan te gen anpil move lespri sou li. Depi lontan li pa t’ janm vle mete rad sou li, ni li pa t’ vle rete nan ankenn kay, se nan mitan tonm mò yo li t’ap viv.
28 Lè l’ wè Jezi, li bay yon gwo rèl, li lage kò l’ atè devan Jezi, li pran pale byen fò, li di li konsa: Kisa m’ gen avè ou, Jezi, Pitit Bondye ki anwo nan syèl la? Tanpri souple, pa fè m’ soufri.
29 Li te pale konsa paske Jezi te pase move lespri a lòd pou li soti sou nonm lan. Anpil fwa, lespri a te vin sou li: lè konsa, yo te konn mare tou de men l’ ak tou de pye l’ ak chenn pou l’ pa t’ kouri. Men, li te jwenn mwayen pete chenn yo epi move lespri a te mennen l’ ale nan dezè.
30 Jezi mande li: Ki jan ou rele? Li reponn: Yo rele m’ Rejiman. Li di sa paske se anpil move lespri ki te sou nonm lan.
31 Lespri yo t’ap mande Jezi: Tanpri souple, pa voye n’ ale nan gwo twou san fon an.
32 Sou ti mòn lan te gen yon bann kochon ki t’ap chache manje pou yo manje. Move lespri yo pran mande Jezi: Tanpri souple, kite nou antre nan kochon sa yo. Jezi ba yo pèmisyon sa a.
33 Lè sa a, move lespri yo soti sou nonm lan, yo antre nan kochon yo. Lamenm tout bann kochon yo pran degrengole desann bò falèz la, y’ al neye tèt yo nan letan an.
34 Moun ki t’ap gade kochon yo, lè yo wè sak te rive, yo pran kouri, yo gaye nouvèl la nan lavil la kou andeyò.
35 Moun soti pou y’ al wè sak te pase. Lè yo rive kote Jezi te ye a, yo jwenn nonm lan: move lespri yo te soti sou li, li te chita nan pye Jezi byen abiye ak tout bon sans li sou li. Yo tout te pè.
36 Moun ki te asiste bagay la mete rakonte yo ki jan nonm ki te gen move lespri sou li a te geri.
37 Lè sa a, tout moun nan peyi Jerazenyen yo mande Jezi pou li al fè wout li kite peyi a, paske yo te pè anpil. Jezi moute nan kannòt la pou l’ ale.
38 Nonm ki te gen move lespri soti sou li a mande l’ pou li ale avèk li tou. Men, Jezi voye l’ ale, li di li:
39 Tounen lakay ou; al rakonte tou sa Bondye fè pou ou. Nonm lan pati, li mache fè konnen tou sa Jezi te fè pou li nan tout lavil la.
40 Lè Jezi tounen lòt bò letan an, yon foul moun resevwa l’, paske tout moun t’ap tann li.
41 Yon nonm yo rele Jayiris vin rive. Se li ki te chèf sinagòg la. Li lage kò l’ nan pye Jezi, li mande li: Tanpri souple, ann al lakay.
42 Mwen gen yon tifi douzan ki sèl pitit fi m’, mwen kite l’ prèt pou mouri. Pandan Jezi tapral lakay Jayiris, yon foul moun t’ap kwense l’ toupatou.
43 Te gen yon fanm nan foul moun yo ki te malad: Depi douzan li t’ap pèdi san. Li te fin depanse tout byen l’ kay dòktè, san yo yonn pa t’ kapab geri li.
44 Li pwoche pa dèyè, li manyen ke rad Jezi. Latou, san an rete.
45 Jezi mande: Ki moun ki manyen m’ lan? Tout moun pran di se pa yo. Lè sa a, Pyè di li: Men, Mèt, se nan mitan yon foul moun ou ye, moun ap kwense ou tout jan.
46 Men, Jezi reponn li: Mwen di ou gen yon moun ki manyen m’, paske mwen santi yon fòs soti sou mwen.
47 Lè sa a, fanm lan wè yo te dekouvri l’, li pran tranble kou yon fèy bwa, li vin lage kò l’ nan pye Jezi, li pran rakonte devan tout pèp la poukisa li te manyen l’, ki jan li te geri menm lè a tou.
48 Jezi di li: Mafi, se konfyans ou nan Bondye ki geri ou; ale ak kè poze.
49 Jezi t’ap pale toujou lè yon nonm soti lakay chèf sinagòg la vin di li: Tifi ou la mouri; ou pa bezwen deranje mèt la pase sa.
50 Men, lè Jezi tande sa, li di Jayiris konsa: Pa pè. Sèlman, met konfyans ou nan mwen, pitit la va geri.
51 Lè Jezi rive lakay la, li pa kite tout moun yo antre ak li. Li pran Pyè, Jan, Jak epi papa ak manman pitit la.
52 Tout moun t’ap kriye, yo t’ap plenn lanmò pitit la. Jezi di yo: Pa kriye. Pitit la pa mouri, se dòmi l’ap dòmi.
53 Lè sa a, yo tonbe pase l’ nan betiz paske yo te konnen tifi a fin mouri.
54 Men, Jezi pran men pitit la, li pale byen fò, li di konsa: Tifi, leve.
55 Lespri tifi a tounen sou li ankò, menm lè a li leve. Jezi pase lòd pou yo ba l’ manje.
56 Papa ak manman tifi a te sezi anpil, men Jezi bay yo lòd pou yo pa di pesonn sak te pase.

Luc 8
1 Ensuite, Jésus allait de ville en ville et de village en village, prêchant et annonçant la bonne nouvelle du royaume de Dieu.
2 Les douze étaient avec de lui et quelques femmes qui avaient été guéries d’esprits malins et de maladies: Marie, dite de Magdala, de laquelle étaient sortis sept démons,
3 Jeanne, femme de Chuza, intendant d’Hérode, Susanne, et plusieurs autres, qui l’assistaient de leurs biens.
4 Une grande foule s’étant assemblée, et des gens étant venus de diverses villes auprès de lui, il dit cette parabole:
5 Un semeur sortit pour semer sa semence. Comme il semait, une partie de la semence tomba le long du chemin: elle fut foulée aux pieds, et les oiseaux du ciel la mangèrent.
6 Une autre partie tomba sur le roc: quand elle fut levée, elle sécha, parce qu’elle n’avait point d’humidité.
7 Une autre partie tomba au milieu des épines: les épines crûrent avec elle, et l’étouffèrent.
8 Une autre partie tomba dans la bonne terre: quand elle fut levée, elle donna du fruit au centuple. Après avoir ainsi parlé, Jésus dit à haute voix: Que celui qui a des oreilles pour entendre entende!
9 Ses disciples lui demandèrent ce que signifiait cette parabole.
10 Il répondit: Il vous a été donné de connaître les mystères du royaume de Dieu; mais pour les autres, cela leur est dit en paraboles, afin qu’en voyant ils ne voient point, et qu’en entendant ils ne comprennent point.
11 Voici ce que signifie cette parabole: La semence, c’est la parole de Dieu.
12 Ceux qui sont le long du chemin, ce sont ceux qui entendent; puis le diable vient, et enlève de leur coeur la parole, de peur qu’ils ne croient et soient sauvés.
13 Ceux qui sont sur le roc, ce sont ceux qui, lorsqu’ils entendent la parole, la reçoivent avec joie; mais ils n’ont point de racine, ils croient pour un temps, et ils succombent au moment de la tentation.
14 Ce qui est tombé parmi les épines, ce sont ceux qui, ayant entendu la parole, s’en vont, et la laissent étouffer par les soucis, les richesses et les plaisirs de la vie, et ils ne portent point de fruit qui vienne à maturité.
15 Ce qui est tombé dans la bonne terre, ce sont ceux qui, ayant entendu la parole avec un coeur honnête et bon, la retiennent, et portent du fruit avec persévérance.
16 Personne, après avoir allumé une lampe, ne la couvre d’un vase, ou ne la met sous un lit; mais il la met sur un chandelier, afin que ceux qui entrent voient la lumière.
17 Car il n’est rien de caché qui ne doive être découvert, rien de secret qui ne doive être connu et mis au jour.
18 Prenez donc garde à la manière dont vous écoutez; car on donnera à celui qui a, mais à celui qui n’a pas on ôtera même ce qu’il croit avoir.
19 La mère et les frères de Jésus vinrent le trouver; mais ils ne purent l’aborder, à cause de la foule.
20 On lui dit: Ta mère et tes frères sont dehors, et ils désirent te voir.
21 Mais il répondit: Ma mère et mes frères, ce sont ceux qui écoutent la parole de Dieu, et qui la mettent en pratique.
22 Un jour, Jésus monta dans une barque avec ses disciples. Il leur dit: Passons de l’autre côté du lac. Et ils partirent.
23 Pendant qu’ils naviguaient, Jésus s’endormit. Un tourbillon fondit sur le lac, la barque se remplissait d’eau, et ils étaient en péril.
24 Ils s’approchèrent et le réveillèrent, en disant: Maître, maître, nous périssons! S’étant réveillé, il menaça le vent et les flots, qui s’apaisèrent, et le calme revint.
25 Puis il leur dit: Où est votre foi? Saisis de frayeur et d’étonnement, ils se dirent les uns aux autres: Quel est donc celui-ci, qui commande même au vent et à l’eau, et à qui ils obéissent?
26 Ils abordèrent dans le pays des Géraséniens, qui est vis-à-vis de la Galilée.
27 Lorsque Jésus fut descendu à terre, il vint au-devant de lui un homme de la ville, qui était possédé de plusieurs démons. Depuis longtemps il ne portait point de vêtement, et avait sa demeure non dans une maison, mais dans les sépulcres.
28 Ayant vu Jésus, il poussa un cri, se jeta à ses pieds, et dit d’une voix forte: Qu’y a-t-il entre moi et toi, Jésus, Fils du Dieu Très Haut? Je t’en supplie, ne me tourmente pas.
29 Car Jésus commandait à l’esprit impur de sortir de cet homme, dont il s’était emparé depuis longtemps; on le gardait lié de chaînes et les fers aux pieds, mais il rompait les liens, et il était entraîné par le démon dans les déserts.
30 Jésus lui demanda: Quel est ton nom? Légion, répondit-il. Car plusieurs démons étaient entrés en lui.
31 Et ils priaient instamment Jésus de ne pas leur ordonner d’aller dans l’abîme.
32 Il y avait là, dans la montagne, un grand troupeau de pourceaux qui paissaient. Et les démons supplièrent Jésus de leur permettre d’entrer dans ces pourceaux. Il le leur permit.
33 Les démons sortirent de cet homme, entrèrent dans les pourceaux, et le troupeau se précipita des pentes escarpées dans le lac, et se noya.
34 Ceux qui les faisaient paître, voyant ce qui était arrivé, s’enfuirent, et répandirent la nouvelle dans la ville et dans les campagnes.
35 Les gens allèrent voir ce qui était arrivé. Ils vinrent auprès de Jésus, et ils trouvèrent l’homme de qui étaient sortis les démons, assis à ses pieds, vêtu, et dans son bon sens; et ils furent saisis de frayeur.
36 Ceux qui avaient vu ce qui s’était passé leur racontèrent comment le démoniaque avait été guéri.
37 Tous les habitants du pays des Géraséniens prièrent Jésus de s’éloigner d’eux, car ils étaient saisis d’une grande crainte. Jésus monta dans la barque, et s’en retourna.
38 L’homme de qui étaient sortis les démons lui demandait la permission de rester avec lui. Mais Jésus le renvoya, en disant:
39 Retourne dans ta maison, et raconte tout ce que Dieu t’a fait. Il s’en alla, et publia par toute la ville tout ce que Jésus avait fait pour lui.
40 A son retour, Jésus fut reçu par la foule, car tous l’attendaient.
41 Et voici, il vint un homme, nommé Jaïrus, qui était chef de la synagogue. Il se jeta à ses pieds, et le supplia d’entrer dans sa maison,
42 parce qu’il avait une fille unique d’environ douze ans qui se mourait. Pendant que Jésus y allait, il était pressé par la foule.
43 Or, il y avait une femme atteinte d’une perte de sang depuis douze ans, et qui avait dépensé tout son bien pour les médecins, sans qu’aucun ait pu la guérir.
44 Elle s’approcha par derrière, et toucha le bord du vêtement de Jésus. Au même instant la perte de sang s’arrêta.
45 Et Jésus dit: Qui m’a touché? Comme tous s’en défendaient, Pierre et ceux qui étaient avec lui dirent: Maître, la foule t’entoure et te presse, et tu dis: Qui m’a touché?
46 Mais Jésus répondit: Quelqu’un m’a touché, car j’ai connu qu’une force était sortie de moi.
47 La femme, se voyant découverte, vint toute tremblante se jeter à ses pieds, et déclara devant tout le peuple pourquoi elle l’avait touché, et comment elle avait été guérie à l’instant.
48 Jésus lui dit: Ma fille, ta foi t’a sauvée; va en paix.
49 Comme il parlait encore, survint de chez le chef de la synagogue quelqu’un disant: Ta fille est morte; n’importune pas le maître.
50 Mais Jésus, ayant entendu cela, dit au chef de la synagogue: Ne crains pas, crois seulement, et elle sera sauvée.
51 Lorsqu’il fut arrivé à la maison, il ne permit à personne d’entrer avec lui, si ce n’est à Pierre, à Jean et à Jacques, et au père et à la mère de l’enfant.
52 Tous pleuraient et se lamentaient sur elle. Alors Jésus dit: Ne pleurez pas; elle n’est pas morte, mais elle dort.
53 Et ils se moquaient de lui, sachant qu’elle était morte.
54 Mais il la saisit par la main, et dit d’une voix forte: Enfant, lève-toi.
55 Et son esprit revint en elle, et à l’instant elle se leva; et Jésus ordonna qu’on lui donnât à manger.
56 Les parents de la jeune fille furent dans l’étonnement, et il leur recommanda de ne dire à personne ce qui était arrivé.

1 And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,
2 And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,
3 And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.
4 And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:
5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.
8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?
10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
16 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.
18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
19 Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press.
20 And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.
21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.
22 Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.
23 But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.
24 And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.
25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.
26 And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee.
27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.
28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.
29 (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)
30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.
31 And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.
32 And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.
33 Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.
34 When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country.
35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
36 They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed.
37 Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again.
38 Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,
39 Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.
40 And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.
41 And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus’ feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:
42 For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him.
43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.
45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
49 While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.
50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
51 And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
52 And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.
53 And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
54 And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.
55 And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.
56 And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.
