Jeremi 27
1 Sedesyas, pitit Jozyas la, te gen katran depi li fèk moute wa nan peyi Jida, lè Seyè a pale ak Jeremi ankò.
2 Seyè a di l’ konsa: -Pran kòd ak bwa yo sèvi pou fè jouk bèf. Mete yo sou zepòl ou.
3 Lèfini, w’a voye yo bay wa peyi Edon, wa peyi Moab, wa peyi Amon, wa peyi Tir ak wa peyi Sidon. W’a renmèt yo nan men delege wa sa yo ki te vin wè wa Sedesyas lavil Jerizalèm.
4 W’a ba yo chak yon misyon pou mèt yo. W’a di yo men mesaj Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a, Bondye pèp Izrayèl la, ba yo pou mèt yo:
5 -Se mwen menm avèk gwo kouraj mwen epi ak fòs ponyèt mwen ki fè latè ansanm ak tout moun ak tout bèt k’ap viv sou latè. Mwen pran yo bay moun mwen vle.
6 Se konsa, mwen lage tout peyi nou yo nan men Nèbikadneza, wa Babilòn, sèvitè m’ lan. Mwen ba li ata bèt nan bwa yo pou yo soumèt devan l’.
7 Tout nasyon yo va sèvi l’. Y’a sèvi pitit li ak pitit pitit li jouk lè a va rive pou lòt nasyon ki pi fò pase l’ yo, lòt wa ki pi gran pase l’ yo va fè peyi pa l’ la sèvi yo tou.
8 Men si yon nasyon osinon yon wa ak tout pèp li derefize soumèt devan Nèbikadneza, wa Babilòn lan, si yonn ladan yo refize bese tèt devan otorite li pou obeyi l’, m’ap voye lagè, grangou, move maladi sou nasyon sa a pou pini l’ jouk m’a fè Nèbikadneza fini nèt ak li.
9 Pa koute pwofèt nou yo, ni divinò nou yo, ni ankenn lòt moun ki pretann yo konnen sa ki pral rive nou, paske yo fè rèv pou nou, osinon paske yo ka li sa k’ap pase nan syèl la ou ankò paske yo konn fè maji. Yo tout ap plede di nou p’ap janm sèvi wa Babilòn lan.
10 Se manti y’ap ban nou. Si nou koute yo, y’ap depòte nou byen lwen peyi nou an. Se mwen menm k’ap mete nou deyò. Lèfini, nou tout pral mouri.
11 Men, si yon nasyon asepte bese tèt li devan otorite wa Babilòn lan pou sèvi l’, m’a kite l’ nan peyi l’, l’a travay latè, l’a rete lakay li. Se mwen menm Seyè a ki di sa.
12 Mwen pale ak Sedesyas, wa Jida a, mwen di l’ menm bagay la tou: -Ou menm ansanm ak pèp la, se pou nou bese tèt devan otorite wa Babilòn lan. Se pou nou sèvi ni li ni pèp li a, konsa n’a viv.
13 Pa gen rezon pou nou mouri, ou menm ak tout pèp ou a, nan lagè, nan grangou, anba move maladi. Paske se sa Seyè a te di ki gen pou rive tout nasyon ki va derefize soumèt devan wa Babilòn lan.
14 Gen yon bann pwofèt k’ap plede di nou p’ap janm sèvi wa Babilòn lan. Pa koute yo. Se manti y’ap bay.
15 Se Seyè a menm ki di se pa li menm ki voye yo. Yo pran non l’ pou ban nou manti. Si nou koute yo, m’ap mete nou deyò, m’ap fè nou mouri, ni nou ni pwofèt k’ap ban nou manti yo.
16 Apre sa, mwen pale ak prèt yo ansanm ak pèp la, mwen di yo: -Men mesaj Seyè a bay. Pa koute pwofèt yo k’ap plede di nou yo pral pote tounen soti lavil Babilòn tout bagay yo te pran nan tanp lan. Se manti y’ap bay.
17 Pa koute yo. Soumèt devan wa Babilòn lan, konsa n’a viv. Pa gen rezon pou nou fè lavil Jerizalèm lan tounen mazi.
18 Si yo se pwofèt tout bon, si yo resevwa yon mesaj nan men Seyè a tout bon vre, enben, se pou y’ al mande Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a pou li pa kite yo pran rès bon bagay ki nan Tanp lan, ak rès bon bagay ki lakay wa peyi Jida a ak nan lavil Jerizalèm lan pou pote yo ale lavil Babilòn.
19 Seyè a t’ap pale sou gwo poto kwiv yo, sou gwo basen lan ansanm ak pye l’ yo, sou tout lòt richès ki te nan lavil la toujou.
20 Se bagay sa yo Nèbikadneza, wa Babilòn lan, te kite lavil Jerizalèm lè li t’ap depòte Jekonya, pitit Jojakim, wa peyi Jida a, lavil Babilòn, ansanm ak grannèg peyi Jida yo ak grannèg lavil Jerizalèm yo.
21 Wi, men sa Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a, Bondye pèp Izrayèl la, te di sou rès bon bagay ki te nan kay Seyè a, nan kay wa Jida a ak nan lavil Jerizalèm:
22 Y’ap pote yo ale lavil Babilòn. Y’ap rete la jouk lè m’a vin pran yo pou m’ fè yo tounen nan plas yo. Se mwen menm Seyè a ki di sa.

1 Au commencement du règne de Jojakim, fils de Josias, roi de Juda, cette parole fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de l’Éternel, en ces mots:
2 Ainsi m’a parlé l’Éternel: Fais-toi des liens et des jougs, et mets-les sur ton cou.
3 Envoie-les au roi d’Édom, au roi de Moab, au roi des enfants d’Ammon, au roi de Tyr et au roi de Sidon, par les envoyés qui sont venus à Jérusalem auprès de Sédécias, roi de Juda,
4 et à qui tu donneras mes ordres pour leurs maîtres, en disant: Ainsi parle l’Éternel des armées, le Dieu d’Israël: Voici ce que vous direz à vos maîtres:
5 C’est moi qui ai fait la terre, les hommes et les animaux qui sont sur la terre, par ma grande puissance et par mon bras étendu, et je donne la terre à qui cela me plaît.
6 Maintenant je livre tous ces pays entre les mains de Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, mon serviteur; je lui donne aussi les animaux des champs, pour qu’ils lui soient assujettis.
7 Toutes les nations lui seront soumises, à lui, à son fils, et au fils de son fils, jusqu’à ce que le temps de son pays arrive, et que des nations puissantes et de grands rois l’asservissent.
8 Si une nation, si un royaume ne se soumet pas à lui, à Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, et ne livre pas son cou au joug du roi de Babylone, je châtierai cette nation par l’épée, par la famine et par la peste, dit l’Éternel, jusqu’à ce que je l’aie anéantie par sa main.
9 Et vous, n’écoutez pas vos prophètes, vos devins, vos songeurs, vos astrologues, vos magiciens, qui vous disent: Vous ne serez point asservis au roi de Babylone!
10 Car c’est le mensonge qu’ils vous prophétisent, afin que vous soyez éloignés de votre pays, afin que je vous chasse et que vous périssiez.
11 Mais la nation qui pliera son cou sous le joug du roi de Babylone, et qui lui sera soumise, je la laisserai dans son pays, dit l’Éternel, pour qu’elle le cultive et qu’elle y demeure.
12 J’ai dit entièrement les mêmes choses à Sédécias, roi de Juda: Pliez votre cou sous le joug du roi de Babylone, soumettez-vous à lui et à son peuple, et vous vivrez.
13 Pourquoi mourriez-vous, toi et ton peuple, par l’épée, par la famine et par la peste, comme l’Éternel l’a prononcé sur la nation qui ne se soumettra pas au roi de Babylone?
14 N’écoutez pas les paroles des prophètes qui vous disent: Vous ne serez point asservis au roi de Babylone! Car c’est le mensonge qu’ils vous prophétisent.
15 Je ne les ai point envoyés, dit l’Éternel, et ils prophétisent le mensonge en mon nom, afin que je vous chasse et que vous périssiez, vous et les prophètes qui vous prophétisent.
16 J’ai dit aux sacrificateurs et à tout ce peuple: Ainsi parle l’Éternel: N’écoutez pas les paroles de vos prophètes qui vous prophétisent, disant: Voici, les ustensiles de la maison de l’Éternel seront bientôt rapportés de Babylone! Car c’est le mensonge qu’ils vous prophétisent.
17 Ne les écoutez pas, soumettez-vous au roi de Babylone, et vous vivrez. Pourquoi cette ville deviendrait-elle une ruine?
18 S’ils sont prophètes et si la parole de l’Éternel est avec eux, qu’ils intercèdent auprès de l’Éternel des armées pour que les ustensiles qui restent dans la maison de l’Éternel, dans la maison du roi de Juda, et dans Jérusalem, ne s’en aillent point à Babylone.
19 Car ainsi parle l’Éternel des armées au sujet des colonnes, de la mer, des bases, et des autres ustensiles qui sont restés dans cette ville,
20 qui n’ont pas été enlevés par Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, lorsqu’il emmena captifs de Jérusalem à Babylone Jeconia, fils de Jojakim, roi de Juda, et tous les grands de Juda et de Jérusalem,
21 ainsi parle l’Éternel des armées, le Dieu d’Israël, au sujet des ustensiles qui restent dans la maison de l’Éternel, dans la maison du roi de Juda, et dans Jérusalem:
22 Ils seront emportés à Babylone, et ils y resteront jusqu’au jour où je les chercherai, dit l’Éternel, où je les ferai remonter et revenir dans ce lieu.

1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
2 Thus saith the Lord to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck,
3 And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;
4 And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;
5 I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.
6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.
7 And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son’s son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.
8 And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the Lord, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.
9 Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:
10 For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.
11 But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the Lord; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.
12 I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
13 Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the Lord hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
14 Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
15 For I have not sent them, saith the Lord, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.
16 Also I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the Lord‘s house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
17 Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste?
18 But if they be prophets, and if the word of the Lord be with them, let them now make intercession to the Lord of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.
19 For thus saith the Lord of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city.
20 Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;
21 Yea, thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem;
22 They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith the Lord; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.
