Deteronòm 10
1 Apre sa, Seyè a te di m’: Taye de wòch plat tankou de premye yo. Fè yon bwat an bwa, mete yo ladan l’. Moute vin jwenn mwen sou mòn lan.
2 Mwen pral ekri sou wòch yo tou sa mwen te ekri sou wòch plat ou te kraze yo. Lèfini, w’a mete yo nan bwat la.
3 Se konsa, mwen fè yon bwat an bwa zakasya, mwen taye de wòch plat tankou de premye yo, epi mwen moute sou mòn lan ak wòch yo nan men m’.
4 Seyè a make sou wòch yo dis pawòl li te ekri premye fwa a, dis kòmandman Seyè a te ban nou antan li te nan mitan dife a, jou nou tout nou te reyini nan pye mòn lan. Apre sa li ban mwen yo.
5 Mwen desann soti nan mòn lan. Mwen mete wòch plat yo nan bwat mwen te fè a, jan Seyè a te ban mwen lòd la, epi se la yo rete depi lè sa a.
6 Moun pèp Izrayèl yo kite pi Benèy-Jakan yo, yo pati pou Mosera. Se la Arawon te mouri. Se la tou yo antere l’. Se Eleaza, pitit li a, yo te mete prèt nan plas li.
7 Yo kite kote yo te ye a, yo pati pou Goud Goda, epi yo rive Jobata, yon kote ki te gen anpil dlo.
8 Se lè sa a Seyè a te mete moun branch fanmi Levi yo apa pou yo reskonsab pote Bwat Kontra Seyè a, pou yo ka kanpe devan l’ fè sèvis pou li, pou yo ka beni pèp la nan non l’, jan y’ap fè l’ jouk koulye a.
9 Se poutèt sa, moun branch fanmi Levi yo pa t’ resevwa ankenn pòsyon tè pou rele yo pa yo menm jan ak moun lòt branch fanmi yo paske se Seyè a ki tout byen yo, jan Seyè a, Bondye nou an, te di l’ la.
10 Mwen menm, mwen rete karant jou, karant nwit sou mòn lan, jan mwen te fè l’ premye fwa a. Fwa sa a ankò, Seyè a koute m’, li te dakò pou l’ pa detwi nou.
11 Lè sa a, li di m’ konsa: Leve non. Pati, pran devan pèp la. Mennen yo al pran pou yo peyi mwen te sèmante m’ap bay zansèt yo a.
12 Koulye a, nou menm pèp Izrayèl, men sa Seyè a, Bondye nou an, mande nou: Se pou nou gen krentif pou Seyè a, Bondye nou an. Se pou nou swiv chemen li mete devan nou an. Se pou nou renmen l’. Se pou nou sèvi l’ ak tout kè nou ak tout nanm nou.
13 Se pou nou mache dapre tout kòmandman ak tout lòd li yo. Se pou byen nou mwen ban nou yo jòdi a.
14 Gade non! Se pou Seyè a syèl la ak tou sa ki anwo nèt nan syèl la ye. Se pou li latè ak tou sa ki ladan l’ lan ye.
15 Men, pami tout ras moun ki sou latè yo, se zansèt nou yo li te pi pito, paske li te renmen yo. Apre yo, se nou menm, pitit yo, li pi pito nan mitan tout lòt ras moun, jan sa ye jouk koulye a.
16 Se poutèt sa, louvri kè nou nèt bay Seyè a. Sispann fè wòklò ak li,
17 paske Seyè a, Bondye nou an, se li menm ki Bondye anwo tout bondye, se li menm ki chèf sou tout chèf. Li gen pouvwa, li gen fòs, li fè moun respekte l’. Li pa nan paspouki, li pa kite yo achte figi l’ avèk kado y’ap ofri ba li.
18 L’ap defann kòz timoun ki san papa yo ak kòz fanm ki pèdi mari yo. Li renmen moun lòt nasyon k’ap viv nan mitan pèp li a, li ba yo manje pou yo manje ak rad pou yo mete sou yo.
19 Se pou nou renmen moun lòt nasyon sa yo tou paske yon lè se sa nou te ye nan peyi Lejip la.
20 Se pou Seyè a, Bondye nou an, ase pou nou gen krentif. Se li menm sèlman pou nou sèvi. Pa janm lage l’. Se nan non l’ ase pou nou fè sèman.
21 N’a fè lwanj li, se li menm ki Bondye nou. Nou te wè ak je nou tout gwo bagay ak bèl mèvèy li te fè pou nou.
22 Lè zansèt nou yo te desann nan peyi Lejip, yo te swasanndis moun sèlman. Koulye a, Seyè a, Bondye nou an, fè nou vin anpil tankou zetwal nan syèl la.

Deuteronome 10
1 En ce temps-là, l’Éternel me dit: Taille deux tables de pierre comme les premières, et monte vers moi sur la montagne; tu feras aussi une arche de bois.
2 J’écrirai sur ces tables les paroles qui étaient sur les premières tables que tu as brisées, et tu les mettras dans l’arche.
3 Je fis une arche de bois d’acacia, je taillai deux tables de pierre comme les premières, et je montai sur la montagne, les deux tables dans ma main.
4 L’Éternel écrivit sur les tables ce qui avait été écrit sur les premières, les dix paroles qu’il vous avait dites sur la montagne, du milieu du feu, le jour de l’assemblée; et l’Éternel me les donna.
5 Je retournai et je descendis de la montagne, je mis les tables dans l’arche que j’avais faite, et elles restèrent là, comme l’Éternel me l’avait ordonné.
6 Les enfants d’Israël partirent de Beéroth Bené Jaakan pour Moséra. C’est là que mourut Aaron, et qu’il fut enterré; Éléazar, son fils, lui succéda dans le sacerdoce.
7 Ils partirent de là pour Gudgoda, et de Gudgoda pour Jothbatha, pays où il y a des cours d’eau.
8 En ce temps-là, l’Éternel sépara la tribu de Lévi, et lui ordonna de porter l’arche de l’alliance de l’Éternel, de se tenir devant l’Éternel pour le servir, et de bénir le peuple en son nom: ce qu’elle a fait jusqu’à ce jour.
9 C’est pourquoi Lévi n’a ni part ni héritage avec ses frères: l’Éternel est son héritage, comme l’Éternel, ton Dieu, le lui a dit.
10 Je restai sur la montagne, comme précédemment, quarante jours et quarante nuits. L’Éternel m’exauça encore cette fois; l’Éternel ne voulut pas te détruire.
11 L’Éternel me dit: Lève-toi, va, marche à la tête du peuple. Qu’ils aillent prendre possession du pays que j’ai juré à leurs pères de leur donner.
12 Maintenant, Israël, que demande de toi l’Éternel, ton Dieu, si ce n’est que tu craignes l’Éternel, ton Dieu, afin de marcher dans toutes ses voies, d’aimer et de servir l’Éternel, ton Dieu, de tout ton coeur et de toute ton âme;
13 si ce n’est que tu observes les commandements de l’Éternel et ses lois que je te prescris aujourd’hui, afin que tu sois heureux?
14 Voici, à l’Éternel, ton Dieu, appartiennent les cieux et les cieux des cieux, la terre et tout ce qu’elle renferme.
15 Et c’est à tes pères seulement que l’Éternel s’est attaché pour les aimer; et, après eux, c’est leur postérité, c’est vous qu’il a choisis d’entre tous les peuples, comme vous le voyez aujourd’hui.
16 Vous circoncirez donc votre coeur, et vous ne roidirez plus votre cou.
17 Car l’Éternel, votre Dieu, est le Dieu des dieux, le Seigneur des seigneurs, le Dieu grand, fort et terrible, qui ne fait point acception des personnes et qui ne reçoit point de présent,
18 qui fait droit à l’orphelin et à la veuve, qui aime l’étranger et lui donne de la nourriture et des vêtements.
19 Vous aimerez l’étranger, car vous avez été étrangers dans le pays d’Égypte.
20 Tu craindras l’Éternel, ton Dieu, tu le serviras, tu t’attacheras à lui, et tu jureras par son nom.
21 Il est ta gloire, il est ton Dieu: c’est lui qui a fait au milieu de toi ces choses grandes et terribles que tes yeux ont vues.
22 Tes pères descendirent en Égypte au nombre de soixante-dix personnes; et maintenant l’Éternel, ton Dieu, a fait de toi une multitude pareille aux étoiles des cieux.

Deuteronomy 10
1 At that time the Lord said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood.
2 And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark.
3 And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand.
4 And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the Lord spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the Lord gave them unto me.
5 And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the Lord commanded me.
6 And the children of Israel took their journey from Beeroth of the children of Jaakan to Mosera: there Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest’s office in his stead.
7 From thence they journeyed unto Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbath, a land of rivers of waters.
8 At that time the Lord separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.
9 Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the Lord is his inheritance, according as the Lord thy God promised him.
10 And I stayed in the mount, according to the first time, forty days and forty nights; and the Lord hearkened unto me at that time also, and the Lord would not destroy thee.
11 And the Lord said unto me, Arise, take thy journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give unto them.
12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
13 To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the Lord‘s thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.
15 Only the Lord had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.
16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.
17 For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:
18 He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.
19 Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
20 Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.
21 He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.
22 Thy fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the Lord thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude.
