3 Seyè a renmen tout pèp sou latè. Men, li pwoteje tout moun k’ap viv apa pou li. Yo bese nan pye l’. Yo resevwa lòd l’ap ba yo.
4 Moyiz ban nou lalwa. Se yon byen li kite pou tout fanmi Jakòb la.
5 Seyè a te wa nan mitan pèp Izrayèl la lè tout chèf pèp la te reyini, lè tout branch fanmi pèp Izrayèl la te sanble.
6 Men sa li di pou branch fanmi Woubenn lan: Se pou Woubenn viv lontan! Fanmi li p’ap janm disparèt, malgre li pa gen anpil moun.
7 Men sa li di pou branch fanmi Jida a: Seyè, koute vwa moun fanmi Jida yo! Fè yo mete tèt yo ansanm ankò ak rès pèp la. Goumen pou yo, Seyè! Se pou ou ede yo lè y’ap batay ak lènmi l’ yo.
8 Men sa li di pou branch fanmi Levi a: Seyè! Se ou menm ki pou fè yo konnen volonte ou. Y’ap sèvi ou san lage. Ou te sonde yo bò Masa. Ou te kenbe tèt ak yo bò sous dlo Meriba yo.
9 Yo pa konn papa! Yo pa konn manman! Yo pa konn frè! Yo pa konn pitit! Se lòd ou yo y’ap swiv, se kontra ou la y’ap kenbe fèm.

18 Men sa li di pou branch fanmi Zabilon an ak branch fanmi Isaka a: Nou menm moun Zabilon yo, se pou trafik sou lanmè nou mache byen. Nou menm moun Isaka yo, se pou komès n’ap fè lakay nou mache byen tou.
19 Yo rele tout moun lòt nasyon yo vin sou mòn lan. Se la y’a fè ofrann Bondye mande yo, paske yo fè tout lajan yo sou lanmè, nan komès yo fè sou lanmè ak nan trafik lakòt y’ap fè toupatou.
20 Men sa li di pou branch fanmi Gad la: Lwanj pou Bondye ki bay Gad anpil tè pou l’ rete. Gad kouche tankou yon lyon k’ap veye, pou l’ dechire yon bra, yon tèt, yon figi.
21 Yo pran pi bon venn tè a pou yo. Se pòsyon tè ki toujou vin pou chèf. Se yo k’ap mache devan pèp la. Yo fè tou sa Seyè a te mande, yo swiv tout regleman Seyè a te bay pèp Izrayèl la.
22 Men sa li di pou branch fanmi Dann lan: Dann se yon jenn ti lyon k’ap kouri soti peyi Bazan.
23 Men sa li di pou branch fanmi Neftali a: Neftali resevwa kont benediksyon l’. Seyè a fè l’ anpil anpil favè. Pòsyon tè yo ap soti bò letan an, l’ap desann jouk nan pwent sid peyi a.
24 Men sa li di pou branch fanmi Asè a: Nan tout pitit Jakòb yo, benediksyon pou Asè! Tout frè li yo ap renmen l’. Se pou tè li yo rich ak pye oliv.
25 Se pou pòtay lavil li yo fèt an fè ak an asye, pou li ka toujou viv ak kè poze.
26 Pa gen tankou Bondye moun pèp Izrayèl la. Li kouri sou nwaj yo nan syèl la pou l’ vin pote yo sekou avèk fòs ponyèt li.
27 Bondye ki la pou tout tan an ap pwoteje nou. L’ap pran dèfans nou ak pouvwa li ki p’ap janm fini. L’ap fè lènmi nou yo kouri met deyò devan nou, l’ap ban nou lòd pou nou detwi yo nèt.
28 Pèp Izrayèl la ap viv ak kè poze. Moun pèp Izrayèl yo p’ap viv tankou lòt nasyon yo. Y’ap viv nan yon peyi k’ap bay anpil farin ak diven, nan yon peyi kote ki p’ap janm manke lapli.
29 Ala bon sa bon pou nou, moun pèp Izrayèl! Pa gen tankou nou! Se Seyè a menm ki delivrans nou! Se li ki pwoteksyon nou! Se li ki defans nou! L’ap mache devan nou pou l’ fè nou genyen batay la. Lènmi nou yo va vin mande padon nan pye nou. Men nou menm, n’a kraze sa ki fè lògèy yo a anba pye nou.

1 Voici la bénédiction par laquelle Moïse, homme de Dieu, bénit les enfants d’Israël, avant sa mort.
2 Il dit: L’Éternel est venu du Sinaï, Il s’est levé sur eux de Séir, Il a resplendi de la montagne de Paran, Et il est sorti du milieu des saintes myriades: Il leur a de sa droite envoyé le feu de la loi.
3 Oui, il aime les peuples; Tous ses saints sont dans ta main. Ils se sont tenus à tes pieds, Ils ont reçu tes paroles.
4 Moïse nous a donné la loi, Héritage de l’assemblée de Jacob.
5 Il était roi en Israël, Quand s’assemblaient les chefs du peuple Et les tribus d’Israël.
6 Que Ruben vive et qu’il ne meure point, Et que ses hommes soient nombreux!
7 Voici sur Juda ce qu’il dit: Écoute, ô Éternel! la voix de Juda, Et ramène-le vers son peuple. Que ses mains soient puissantes, Et que tu lui sois en aide contre ses ennemis!
8 Sur Lévi il dit: Les thummim et les urim ont été confiés à l’homme saint, Que tu as tenté à Massa, Et avec qui tu as contesté aux eaux de Meriba.
9 Lévi dit de son père et de sa mère: Je ne les ai point vus! Il ne distingue point ses frères, Il ne connaît point ses enfants. Car ils observent ta parole, Et ils gardent ton alliance;
10 Ils enseignent tes ordonnances à Jacob, Et ta loi à Israël; Ils mettent l’encens sous tes narines, Et l’holocauste sur ton autel.
11 Bénis sa force, ô Éternel! Agrée l’oeuvre de ses mains! Brise les reins de ses adversaires, Et que ses ennemis ne se relèvent plus!
12 Sur Benjamin il dit: C’est le bien-aimé de l’Éternel, Il habitera en sécurité auprès de lui; L’Éternel le couvrira toujours, Et résidera entre ses épaules.
13 Sur Joseph il dit: Son pays recevra de l’Éternel, en signe de bénédiction, Le meilleur don du ciel, la rosée, Les meilleures eaux qui sont en bas,
14 Les meilleurs fruits du soleil, Les meilleurs fruits de chaque mois,
15 Les meilleurs produits des antiques montagnes, Les meilleurs produits des collines éternelles,
16 Les meilleurs produits de la terre et de ce qu’elle renferme. Que la grâce de celui qui apparut dans le buisson Vienne sur la tête de Joseph, Sur le sommet de la tête du prince de ses frères!
17 De son taureau premier-né il a la majesté; Ses cornes sont les cornes du buffle; Avec elles il frappera tous les peuples, Jusqu’aux extrémités de la terre: Elles sont les myriades d’Éphraïm, Elles sont les milliers de Manassé.
18 Sur Zabulon il dit: Réjouis-toi, Zabulon, dans tes courses, Et toi, Issacar, dans tes tentes!
19 Ils appelleront les peuples sur la montagne; Là, ils offriront des sacrifices de justice, Car ils suceront l’abondance de la mer, Et les trésors cachés dans le sable.
20 Sur Gad il dit: Béni soit celui qui met Gad au large! Gad repose comme une lionne, Il déchire le bras et la tête.
21 Il a choisi les prémices du pays, Car là est caché l’héritage du législateur; Il a marché en tête du peuple, Il a exécuté la justice de l’Éternel, Et ses ordonnances envers Israël.
22 Sur Dan il dit: Dan est un jeune lion, Qui s’élance de Basan.
23 Sur Nephthali il dit: Nephthali, rassasié de faveurs Et comblé des bénédictions de l’Éternel, Prends possession de l’occident et du midi!
24 Sur Aser il dit: Béni soit Aser entre les enfants d’Israël! Qu’il soit agréable à ses frères, Et qu’il plonge son pied dans l’huile!
25 Que tes verrous soient de fer et d’airain, Et que ta vigueur dure autant que tes jours!
26 Nul n’est semblable au Dieu d’Israël, Il est porté sur les cieux pour venir à ton aide, Il est avec majesté porté sur les nuées.
27 Le Dieu d’éternité est un refuge, Et sous ses bras éternels est une retraite. Devant toi il a chassé l’ennemi, Et il a dit: Extermine.
28 Israël est en sécurité dans sa demeure, La source de Jacob est à part Dans un pays de blé et de moût, Et son ciel distille la rosée.
29 Que tu es heureux, Israël! Qui est comme toi, Un peuple sauvé par l’Éternel, Le bouclier de ton secours Et l’épée de ta gloire? Tes ennemis feront défaut devant toi, Et tu fouleras leurs lieux élevés.

Deuteronomy 33
1 And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2 And he said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.
3 Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.
4 Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.
5 And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.
6 Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few.
7 And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies.
8 And of Levi he said, Let thy Thummim and thy Urim be with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;
9 Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant.
10 They shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel thy law: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar.
11 Bless, Lord, his substance, and accept the work of his hands; smite through the loins of them that rise against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not again.
12 And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.
13 And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the Lord be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,
14 And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon,
15 And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills,
16 And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
17 His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
18 And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents.
19 They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand.
20 And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head.
21 And he provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the Lord, and his judgments with Israel.
22 And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion’s whelp: he shall leap from Bashan.
23 And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the Lord: possess thou the west and the south.
24 And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil.
25 Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.
26 There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.
27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
28 Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew.
29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.
