Deteronòm 6
1 Koulye a, men kòmandman, lòd ak prensip Seyè a, Bondye nou an, te mande pou yo moutre nou, pou nou te ka swiv yo nan peyi kote nou pral antre pou nou pran pou nou an.
2 Konsa, ni nou menm, ni pitit nou yo, ni pitit pitit nou yo, n’a gen krentif pou Seyè a, Bondye nou an, n’a kenbe tout lòd ak tout kòmandman li ban nou yo, chak jou nan lavi nou. Se konsa n’a viv lontan.
3 Koute byen sa m’ap di nou, nou menm pèp Izrayèl! Pa bliye yo. Fè tou sa mwen di nou fè. Se sa ki va fè nou viv ak kè kontan. Se sa ki va fè nou tounen yon gran nasyon nan bon peyi sa a, kote lèt ak siwo myèl ap koule tankou dlo, jan Seyè a, Bondye zansèt nou yo, te di l’ la.
4 Koute byen, nou menm pep Izrayèl! Seyè a, Bondye nou an, se li ki sèl mèt.
5 Se pou nou renmen Seyè a, Bondye nou an, avèk tout kè nou, avèk tout nanm nou, avèk tout fòs kouraj nou.
6 Pa janm bliye kòmandman m’ap ban nou jòdi a.
7 N’a moutre yo bay pitit nou yo. N’a repete yo nan zòrèy yo, kit nou chita lakay nou, kit n’ap mache sou granchemen, kit nou kouche nan kabann nou, kit nou kanpe ap travay.
8 Mare yo sou ponyèt nou ak sou fwon nou pou nou sa pa janm bliye yo.
9 N’a ekri yo sou chanbrann pòt lakay nou ak sou pòtay lavil nou yo.
10 Seyè a pral kenbe pwomès li te fè Abraram, Izarak ak Jakòb, zansèt nou yo, li pral fè nou antre nan peyi li te fè sèman l’ap ban nou an. Se yon peyi kote n’a jwenn gwo bèl lavil nou pa t’ bati,
11 kote n’a jwenn kay plen bon bagay san se pa nou menm ki te mete yo la, avèk pi byen fon nou pa t’ fouye, avèk jaden rezen ak jaden oliv nou pa t’ plante. Lè sa a, lè n’a fin manje plen vant nou,
12 fè atansyon pou nou pa bliye Seyè a, li menm ki te fè nou soti kite peyi Lejip kote nou te esklav la.
13 Se pou Seyè a, Bondye nou an, ase pou nou gen krentif. Se li menm ase pou nou sèvi. Se non li sèlman pou nou pran pou fè sèman.
14 Pa kouri dèyè lòt bondye. Piga n’ al sèvi bondye pèp k’ap viv toupre nou yo.
15 Paske Seyè a, Bondye ki rete nan mitan nou an, se yon Bondye ki fè jalouzi anpil. Si nou fè sa, l’a fache sou nou, l’a disparèt nou nèt sou latè.
16 Piga nou sonde Seyè a, Bondye nou an, jan nou te fè l’ bò Masa a.
17 Se pou nou kenbe tout kòmandman Seyè a ansanm ak tout lòd ak tout prensip li ban nou pou nou swiv.
18 N’a fè sa ki dwat ak sa ki byen nan je Bondye pou nou ka gen kè kontan, pou nou ka pran bèl peyi Seyè a te fè sèman l’ap bay zansèt nou yo,
19 pou nou ka chase tout lènmi nou yo devan nou, jan li te pwomèt la.
20 Yon jou, lè pitit nou yo va mande nou poukisa Seyè a, Bondye nou an, mande nou pou nou swiv tout lòd, tout prensip ak tout kòmandman sa yo,
21 lè sa a, n’a di yo: Nou te esklav farawon an nan peyi Lejip. Seyè a te fè nou soti kite peyi Lejip la avèk fòs ponyèt li.
22 Nou te wè ak je nou tout mèvèy ak tout mirak li te fè pou kraze peyi Lejip, ansanm ak farawon an ak tout moun pa l’ yo.
23 Men nou menm, li fè nou soti kote nou te ye a, li mennen nou nan peyi li te pwomèt zansèt nou yo, epi li ban nou li.
24 Apre sa, Seyè a, Bondye nou an, te pase nou lòd pou nou kenbe tout prensip sa yo. Konsa, n’a gen krentif pou li, n’a viv ak kè kontan, epi l’a konsève lavi nou jan li fè sa pou nou jouk koulye a.
25 Si nou vle fè Bondye plezi, se pou nou fè atansyon pou nou swiv tout kòmandman sa yo nèt, se pou nou mache devan Seyè a, Bondye nou an, jan li te mande nou an.

Deuteronome 6
1 Voici les commandements, les lois et les ordonnances que l’Éternel, votre Dieu, a commandé de vous enseigner, afin que vous les mettiez en pratique dans le pays dont vous allez prendre possession;
2 afin que tu craignes l’Éternel, ton Dieu, en observant, tous les jours de ta vie, toi, ton fils, et le fils de ton fils, toutes ses lois et tous ses commandements que je te prescris, et afin que tes jours soient prolongés.
3 Tu les écouteras donc, Israël, et tu auras soin de les mettre en pratique, afin que tu sois heureux et que vous multipliiez beaucoup, comme te l’a dit l’Éternel, le Dieu de tes pères, en te promettant un pays où coulent le lait et le miel.
4 Écoute, Israël! l’Éternel, notre Dieu, est le seul Éternel.
5 Tu aimeras l’Éternel, ton Dieu, de tout ton coeur, de toute ton âme et de toute ta force.
6 Et ces commandements, que je te donne aujourd’hui, seront dans ton coeur.
7 Tu les inculqueras à tes enfants, et tu en parleras quand tu seras dans ta maison, quand tu iras en voyage, quand tu te coucheras et quand tu te lèveras.
8 Tu les lieras comme un signe sur tes mains, et ils seront comme des fronteaux entre tes yeux.
9 Tu les écriras sur les poteaux de ta maison et sur tes portes.
10 L’Éternel, ton Dieu, te fera entrer dans le pays qu’il a juré à tes pères, à Abraham, à Isaac et à Jacob, de te donner. Tu posséderas de grandes et bonnes villes que tu n’as point bâties,
11 des maisons qui sont pleines de toutes sortes de biens et que tu n’as point remplies, des citernes creusées que tu n’as point creusées, des vignes et des oliviers que tu n’as point plantés.
12 Lorsque tu mangeras et te rassasieras, garde-toi d’oublier l’Éternel, qui t’a fait sortir du pays d’Égypte, de la maison de servitude.
13 Tu craindras l’Éternel, ton Dieu, tu le serviras, et tu jureras par son nom.
14 Vous n’irez point après d’autres dieux, d’entre les dieux des peuples qui sont autour de vous;
15 car l’Éternel, ton Dieu, est un Dieu jaloux au milieu de toi. La colère de l’Éternel, ton Dieu, s’enflammerait contre toi, et il t’exterminerait de dessus la terre.
16 Vous ne tenterez point l’Éternel, votre Dieu, comme vous l’avez tenté à Massa.
17 Mais vous observerez les commandements de l’Éternel, votre Dieu, ses ordonnances et ses lois qu’il vous a prescrites.
18 Tu feras ce qui est droit et ce qui est bien aux yeux de l’Éternel, afin que tu sois heureux, et que tu entres en possession du bon pays que l’Éternel a juré à tes pères de te donner,
19 après qu’il aura chassé tous tes ennemis devant toi, comme l’Éternel l’a dit.
20 Lorsque ton fils te demandera un jour: Que signifient ces préceptes, ces lois et ces ordonnances, que l’Éternel, notre Dieu, vous a prescrits?
21 tu diras à ton fils: Nous étions esclaves de Pharaon en Égypte, et l’Éternel nous a fait sortir de l’Égypte par sa main puissante.
22 L’Éternel a opéré, sous nos yeux, des miracles et des prodiges, grands et désastreux, contre l’Égypte, contre Pharaon et contre toute sa maison;
23 et il nous a fait sortir de là, pour nous amener dans le pays qu’il avait juré à nos pères de nous donner.
24 L’Éternel nous a commandé de mettre en pratique toutes ces lois, et de craindre l’Éternel, notre Dieu, afin que nous fussions toujours heureux, et qu’il nous conservât la vie, comme il le fait aujourd’hui.
25 Nous aurons la justice en partage, si nous mettons soigneusement en pratique tous ces commandements devant l’Éternel, notre Dieu, comme il nous l’a ordonné.

Deuteronomy 6
1 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
2 That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
10 And it shall be, when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,
11 And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;
12 Then beware lest thou forget the Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
13 Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.
14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
15 (For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
16 Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.
17 Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.
18 And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers.
19 To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the Lord hath spoken.
20 And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord our God hath commanded you?
21 Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh’s bondmen in Egypt; and the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:
22 And the Lord shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:
23 And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.
24 And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.
