Egzòd 13
1 Seyè a di Moyiz konsa:
2 -Se pou nou mete tout premye pitit gason ak tout premye mal bèt yo apa pou mwen. Tout premye pitit gason moun pèp Izrayèl yo, tout premye mal bèt yo fè, se pou mwen yo ye.
3 Moyiz di pèp la: -Pa janm bliye jou sa a, jou nou te soti kite peyi Lejip kote yo te fè nou tounen esklav la, paske se Seyè a menm ki te fè nou soti ak fòs ponyèt li. Jou sa a, se pa pou nou manje pen ki gen ledven ladan l’.
4 Se jòdi a, se jou sa a, nan mwa Abib la, n’ap soti kite peyi Lejip.
5 Seyè a va fè nou antre nan peyi ki pou moun Kanaran yo, pou moun Et yo, pou moun Amori yo, pou moun Evi yo ak moun Jebis yo. Se yon peyi ki rich anpil, kote lèt ak siwo myèl koule tankou dlo. Se peyi sa a Seyè a te pwomèt l’ap bay zansèt nou yo. Lè l’a fè nou antre nan peyi sa a, n’a toujou fè sèvis sa a nan menm mwa a.
6 Pandan sèt jou, n’a manje pen ki fèt san ledven. Sou setyèm jou a, n’a fè yon fèt pou Seyè a.
7 Pandan sèt jou, n’a manje pen ki fèt san ledven. Yo pa dwe jwenn ni pen ki fèt ak ledven, ni ledven menm lakay nou, nan tout peyi a.
8 Jou sa a, men sa n’a di pitit gason nou yo: Nou fè tou sa pou Seyè a, lè nou chonje tou sa li te fè pou nou lè nou soti kite Lejip la.
9 Sèvis sa a ap tankou yon mak nan men nou osinon yon bagay nou mete nan tèt nou pou nou pa bliye, pou nou ka toujou fè konnen lòd Seyè a. Paske, se avèk fòs ponyèt li li fè nou soti kite peyi Lejip la.
10 Toujou fè sèvis sa a chak lanne, nan dat mwen te fikse a.
11 Lè Seyè a va fè nou antre nan peyi moun Kanaran yo, dapre pwomès li te fè nou an, nou menm ansanm ak zansèt nou yo, lè Seyè a va ban nou peyi sa a,
12 n’a pran tout premye pitit gason nou yo, n’a mete yo apa pou Seyè a. Konsa tou, tout premye pitit bèt nou yo, depi se mal yo ye, se pou mwen yo ye.
13 Nan plas tout premye pitit bourik nou yo, se pou nou ban mwen yon ti mouton. Si nou pa fè sa, se pou nou kase kou l’. Men, n’a ofri m’ bagay pou achte lavi tout premye pitit gason nou yo nan men mwen.
14 Denmen, lè pitit gason nou yo va mande nou poukisa nou fè sa, n’a di yo: Se paske se ak fòs ponyèt li Seyè a te fè nou soti kite peyi Lejip kote yo te fè nou tounen esklav la.
15 Seyè a te touye depi premye pitit gason moun peyi Lejip yo rive jouk premye mal bèt yo fè, paske farawon an t’ap fè tèt di, li pa t’ vle kite nou ale. Se poutèt sa nou ofri bay Seyè a tout premye mal bèt nou yo fe, epi nou ofri lòt bagay pou achte lavi tout premye pitit gason nou yo nan men l’.
16 Sèvis sa a va tounen tankou yon mak sou men nou, tankou bando nou mare sou fwon nou, pou fè nou chonje se ak fòs ponyèt li Seyè a te fè nou soti kite peyi Lejip.
17 Lè farawon an kite pèp Izrayèl la pati, Bondye pa mennen yo nan wout ki pase bò lanmè a pou ale nan peyi moun Filisti yo, atout se wout sa a ki te pi kout, paske Bondye te di: Mwen pa vle pou pèp la gen remò pou yo kase tèt tounen nan peyi Lejip la ankò, lè y’a wè batay yo gen pou yo fè.
18 Se konsa, Bondye fè pèp la pran chemen dezè a nan direksyon lanmè Wouj la. Pèp Izrayèl la te soti kite peyi Lejip la tankou yon lame.
19 Moyiz pran zosman Jozèf yo avèk li, paske Jozèf te fè moun pèp Izrayèl yo fè sèman. Li te di yo: Bondye gen pou vin ede nou. Lè sa a, se pou nou pati ak zosman mwen soti isit la.
20 Yo kite Soukòt, yo rive yon kote ki rele Etam, sou lizyè dezè a, yo pase kèk tan la.
21 Lajounen, Seyè a t’ap mache devan yo nan yon gwo nwaj ki te gen fòm yon poto pou moutre yo chemen pou yo pran. Lannwit, li t’ap mache devan yo nan yon dife ki te tankou yon flanm ki t’ap klere yo. Konsa, yo te ka vwayaje lajounen kou lannwit.
22 Lajounen, nwaj la te toujou ap mache devan pèp la. Lannwit, se te dife a.

Exode 13
1 L’Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit:
2 Consacre-moi tout premier-né, tout premier-né parmi les enfants d’Israël, tant des hommes que des animaux: il m’appartient.
3 Moïse dit au peuple: Souvenez-vous de ce jour, où vous êtes sortis d’Égypte, de la maison de servitude; car c’est par sa main puissante que l’Éternel vous en a fait sortir. On ne mangera point de pain levé.
4 Vous sortez aujourd’hui, dans le mois des épis.
5 Quand l’Éternel t’aura fait entrer dans le pays des Cananéens, des Héthiens, des Amoréens, des Héviens et des Jébusiens, qu’il a juré à tes pères de te donner, pays où coulent le lait et le miel, tu rendras ce culte à l’Éternel dans ce même mois.
6 Pendant sept jours, tu mangeras des pains sans levain; et le septième jour, il y aura une fête en l’honneur de l’Éternel.
7 On mangera des pains sans levain pendant les sept jours; on ne verra point chez toi de pain levé, et l’on ne verra point chez toi de levain, dans toute l’étendue de ton pays.
8 Tu diras alors à ton fils: C’est en mémoire de ce que l’Éternel a fait pour moi, lorsque je suis sorti d’Égypte.
9 Ce sera pour toi comme un signe sur ta main et comme un souvenir entre tes yeux, afin que la loi de l’Éternel soit dans ta bouche; car c’est par sa main puissante que l’Éternel t’a fait sortir d’Égypte.
10 Tu observeras cette ordonnance au temps fixé d’année en année.
11 Quand l’Éternel t’aura fait entrer dans le pays des Cananéens, comme il l’a juré à toi et à tes pères, et qu’il te l’aura donné,
12 tu consacreras à l’Éternel tout premier-né, même tout premier-né des animaux que tu auras: les mâles appartiennent à l’Éternel.
13 Tu rachèteras avec un agneau tout premier-né de l’âne; et, si tu ne le rachètes pas, tu lui briseras la nuque. Tu rachèteras aussi tout premier-né de l’homme parmi tes fils.
14 Et lorsque ton fils te demandera un jour: Que signifie cela? tu lui répondras: Par sa main puissante, l’Éternel nous a fait sortir d’Égypte, de la maison de servitude;
15 et, comme Pharaon s’obstinait à ne point nous laisser aller, l’Éternel fit mourir tous les premiers-nés dans le pays d’Égypte, depuis les premiers-nés des hommes jusqu’aux premiers-nés des animaux. Voilà pourquoi j’offre en sacrifice à l’Éternel tout premier-né des mâles, et je rachète tout premier-né de mes fils.
16 Ce sera comme un signe sur ta main et comme des fronteaux entre tes yeux; car c’est par sa main puissante que l’Éternel nous a fait sortir d’Égypte.
17 Lorsque Pharaon laissa aller le peuple, Dieu ne le conduisit point par le chemin du pays des Philistins, quoique le plus proche; car Dieu dit: Le peuple pourrait se repentir en voyant la guerre, et retourner en Égypte.
18 Mais Dieu fit faire au peuple un détour par le chemin du désert, vers la mer Rouge. Les enfants d’Israël montèrent en armes hors du pays d’Égypte.
19 Moïse prit avec lui les os de Joseph; car Joseph avait fait jurer les fils d’Israël, en disant: Dieu vous visitera, et vous ferez remonter avec vous mes os loin d’ici.
20 Ils partirent de Succoth, et ils campèrent à Étham, à l’extrémité du désert.
21 L’Éternel allait devant eux, le jour dans une colonne de nuée pour les guider dans leur chemin, et la nuit dans une colonne de feu pour les éclairer, afin qu’ils marchassent jour et nuit.
22 La colonne de nuée ne se retirait point de devant le peuple pendant le jour, ni la colonne de feu pendant la nuit.

Exodus 13
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.
3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.
4 This day came ye out in the month Abib.
5 And it shall be when the Lord shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.
6 Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the Lord.
7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters.
8 And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the Lord did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.
9 And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the Lord‘s law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the Lord brought thee out of Egypt.
10 Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.
11 And it shall be when the Lord shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, as he sware unto thee and to thy fathers, and shall give it thee,
12 That thou shalt set apart unto the Lord all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males shall be the Lord‘s.
13 And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.
14 And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the Lord brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:
15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the Lord slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.
16 And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt.
17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:
18 But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.
19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you.
20 And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.
21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:
22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.
