2 Li wè de kannòt bò rivaj la; pechè yo te desann atè, yo t’ap lave senn yo.
3 Jezi moute nan yonn nan kannòt yo ki te pou Simon. Li mande l’ pou l’ vanse yon ti kras nan fon. Antan Jezi chita nan kannòt la, li t’ap moutre moun yo anpil bagay.
4 Lè li fin pale, li di Simon konsa: Vanse kannòt la plis nan fon; jete senn ou pou peche.
5 Simon reponn li: Mèt, nou pase tout nwit lan ap travay san nou pa pran anyen. Men, paske se ou ki di nou fè sa, nou pral lage senn lan.
6 Yo lage senn lan; yo pran yon kantite pwason. Tèlman pwason yo te anpil, senn lan t’ap chire.
7 Yo fè asosye yo ki te nan lòt kannòt la siy vin ede yo. Yo vini; de kannòt yo te sitèlman plen pwason, yo te prèt pou koule.
8 Lè Simon Pyè wè sa, li lage kò l’ nan pye Jezi, li di l’ konsa: Mèt, pa rete kote mwen, paske mwen pa bon.
9 Yon sèl sezisman te pran Simon ak tout mesye ki te avèk li yo lè yo wè kantite pwason yo te pran.
10 Se te menm bagay la tou pou Jak ak Jan, de pitit Zebede yo, ki te asosye Simon. Lè sa a Jezi di Simon: Pa pè. Depi koulye a se moun ou pral peche.
11 Yo mennen kannòt yo atè, yo kite tout bagay, y’ ale avèk Jezi.
12 Pandan Jezi te nan yon lavil, yon nonm ki te kouvri ak lalèp vin rive. Lè l’ wè Jezi, li lage kò l’ fas atè, li di l’ konsa: Mèt, si ou vle, ou ka geri mwen.
13 Jezi lonje men l’, li manyen nonm lan, li di l’: Wi, mwen vle ou geri. Menm lè a, lalèp la kite li.
14 Jezi pase l’ lòd sevè sa a: Pa di pesonn sa. Men, ale fè prèt la wè ki jan ou ye. Apre sa, wa ofri sa Moyiz te bay lòd ofri a. Konsa wa bay tout moun prèv ou geri.
15 Malgre sa, nouvèl la gaye pi plis; moun t’ap vin an foul pou tande li, pou chache gerizon nan men li.
16 Men, Jezi wete kò l’, li al yon kote ki pa gen moun menm, li t’ap lapriyè.
17 Yon jou, Jezi t’ap moutre moun yo anpil bagay. Kèk farizyen ak kèk dirèktè lalwa te chita la; yo te soti nan tout bouk Galile yo, nan bouk Jide yo ak nan lavil Jerizalèm. Pouvwa Bondye te avèk Jezi, li t’ap geri malad yo.
18 Se konsa, kèk moun vin ap pote yon nonm paralize kouche sou yon kabann. Yo t’ap chache fè l’ antre nan kay la pou mete l’ devan Jezi.
19 Men, akòz foul moun yo, yo pa t’ jwenn plas pou fè l’ antre. Lè yo wè sa, yo moute sou do kay la, yo fè yon twou nan kouvèti kay la ki te fèt an brik, yo file malad la desann ak tout kabann li, nan mitan moun yo, dwat devan Jezi.
20 Jezi wè jan yo te kwè nan li, li di nonm malad la: Monchè, tout peche ou yo padonnen.
21 Dirèktè lalwa ak farizyen yo t’ap di nan kè yo: Kilès nonm sa a k’ap pale mal sou Bondye konsa? Pa gen moun sou latè ki ka padonnen peche: sa se travay Bondye sèlman.
22 Jezi menm te konnen sak t’ap pase nan tèt yo, li di yo konsa: Poukisa n’ap fè lide konsa nan tèt nou?
23 Ki sak pi fasil pou m’ di: Peche ou yo padonnen osinon: Leve kanpe, mache.
24 Enben, m’ap fè nou konnen mwen menm, Moun Bondye voye nan lachè a, mwen gen pouvwa sou latè pou m’ padonnen peche tande. Apre sa, Jezi di nonm paralize a: Se mwen menm k’ap pale avè ou: Leve kanpe, pran kabann ou, ale lakay ou.
25 Menm lè a, nonm lan kanpe devan yo tout, li pran kabann li te kouche sou li a, li al lakay li, li t’ap fè lwanj Bondye.
26 Tout moun te sezi. Yo t’ap fè lwanj Bondye. Yo te pè anpil tou, yo t’ap di: Ala bèl mèvèy nou wè jòdi a!
27 Apre sa, Jezi soti, li wè yon pèseptè kontribisyon yo te rele Levi. Li te chita devan biwo travay li.
28 Jezi di l’ konsa: Swiv mwen. Levi annik leve, li kite tout bagay, li swiv Jezi.
29 Apre sa, Levi fè yon gwo resepsyon lakay li pou Jezi. Te gen anpil pèseptè kontribisyon ansanm ak lòt moun ankò ki te chita bò tab la avèk yo.
30 Farizyen yo ak dirèktè lalwa ki te fè gwoup ak yo t’ap babye, yo di disip Jezi yo: Poukisa n’ap plede manje, n’ap plede bwè konsa ak pèseptè kontribisyon ansanm ak lòt moun k’ap fè sa ki mal?
31 Jezi reponn yo: Lè yon moun ansante, li pa bezwen dòktè. Se moun malad ki bezwen dòktè.
32 Enben, mwen pa vin rele moun k’ap mache dwat devan Bondye, men moun k’ap fè sa ki mal pou yo kapab tounen vin jwenn Bondye.
33 Gen kèk moun ki di Jezi konsa: Patizan Jan Batis yo ak patizan farizyen yo fè jèn souvan, se tout tan y’ap lapriyè. Men disip pa ou yo, tout tan se manje, se bwè.
34 Jezi reponn yo: Eske nou ka fòse zanmi yon nonm k’ap marye pou yo rete san manje tout tan li la avèk yo?
35 Non. Men, lè lè a rive pou nonm k’ap marye a pa avèk yo ankò, se lè sa a y’a fè jèn.
36 Epi li di yo parabòl sa a: Pesonn p’ap chire yon moso nan yon rad nèf pou pyese yon vye rad. Si ou fè sa, ou chire rad nèf la, lèfini moso twal nèf la pa ale ak vye rad la non plis.
37 Konsa tou, pesonn pa mete diven ki fenk fèt nan vye veso fèt an po. Si ou fè sa, diven ki fenk fèt la va pete veso an po yo. Lè sa a, diven an koule atè, veso an po yo pèdi tou.
38 Men, diven ki fenk fèt, sa dwe ale nan veso an po ki fenk fèt tou.
39 Yon moun ki fin bwè diven ki la lontan p’ap vle bwè diven ki fenk fèt. Se sa pawòl la di: Pi vye pi bon.

Luc 5
1 Comme Jésus se trouvait auprès du lac de Génésareth, et que la foule se pressait autour de lui pour entendre la parole de Dieu,
2 il vit au bord du lac deux barques, d’où les pêcheurs étaient descendus pour laver leurs filets.
3 Il monta dans l’une de ces barques, qui était à Simon, et il le pria de s’éloigner un peu de terre. Puis il s’assit, et de la barque il enseignait la foule.
4 Lorsqu’il eut cessé de parler, il dit à Simon: Avance en pleine eau, et jetez vos filets pour pêcher.
5 Simon lui répondit: Maître, nous avons travaillé toute la nuit sans rien prendre; mais, sur ta parole, je jetterai le filet.
6 L’ayant jeté, ils prirent une grande quantité de poissons, et leur filet se rompait.
7 Ils firent signe à leurs compagnons qui étaient dans l’autre barque de venir les aider. Ils vinrent et ils remplirent les deux barques, au point qu’elles enfonçaient.
8 Quand il vit cela, Simon Pierre tomba aux genoux de Jésus, et dit: Seigneur, retire-toi de moi, parce que je suis un homme pécheur.
9 Car l’épouvante l’avait saisi, lui et tous ceux qui étaient avec lui, à cause de la pêche qu’ils avaient faite.
10 Il en était de même de Jacques et de Jean, fils de Zébédée, les associés de Simon. Alors Jésus dit à Simon: Ne crains point; désormais tu seras pêcheur d’hommes.
11 Et, ayant ramené les barques à terre, ils laissèrent tout, et le suivirent.
12 Jésus était dans une des villes; et voici, un homme couvert de lèpre, l’ayant vu, tomba sur sa face, et lui fit cette prière: Seigneur, si tu le veux, tu peux me rendre pur.
13 Jésus étendit la main, le toucha, et dit: Je le veux, sois pur. Aussitôt la lèpre le quitta.
14 Puis il lui ordonna de n’en parler à personne. Mais, dit-il, va te montrer au sacrificateur, et offre pour ta purification ce que Moïse a prescrit, afin que cela leur serve de témoignage.
15 Sa renommée se répandait de plus en plus, et les gens venaient en foule pour l’entendre et pour être guéris de leurs maladies.
16 Et lui, il se retirait dans les déserts, et priait.
17 Un jour Jésus enseignait. Des pharisiens et des docteurs de la loi étaient là assis, venus de tous les villages de la Galilée, de la Judée et de Jérusalem; et la puissance du Seigneur se manifestait par des guérisons.
18 Et voici, des gens, portant sur un lit un homme qui était paralytique, cherchaient à le faire entrer et à le placer sous ses regards.
19 Comme ils ne savaient par où l’introduire, à cause de la foule, ils montèrent sur le toit, et ils le descendirent par une ouverture, avec son lit, au milieu de l’assemblée, devant Jésus.
20 Voyant leur foi, Jésus dit: Homme, tes péchés te sont pardonnés.
21 Les scribes et les pharisiens se mirent à raisonner et à dire: Qui est celui-ci, qui profère des blasphèmes? Qui peut pardonner les péchés, si ce n’est Dieu seul?
22 Jésus, connaissant leurs pensées, prit la parole et leur dit: Quelles pensées avez-vous dans vos coeurs?
23 Lequel est le plus aisé, de dire: Tes péchés te sont pardonnés, ou de dire: Lève-toi, et marche?
24 Or, afin que vous sachiez que le Fils de l’homme a sur la terre le pouvoir de pardonner les péchés: Je te l’ordonne, dit-il au paralytique, lève-toi, prends ton lit, et va dans ta maison.
25 Et, à l’instant, il se leva en leur présence, prit le lit sur lequel il était couché, et s’en alla dans sa maison, glorifiant Dieu.
26 Tous étaient dans l’étonnement, et glorifiaient Dieu; remplis de crainte, ils disaient: Nous avons vu aujourd’hui des choses étranges.
27 Après cela, Jésus sortit, et il vit un publicain, nommé Lévi, assis au lieu des péages. Il lui dit: Suis-moi.
28 Et, laissant tout, il se leva, et le suivit.
29 Lévi lui donna un grand festin dans sa maison, et beaucoup de publicains et d’autres personnes étaient à table avec eux.
30 Les pharisiens et les scribes murmurèrent, et dirent à ses disciples: Pourquoi mangez-vous et buvez-vous avec les publicains et les gens de mauvaise vie?
31 Jésus, prenant la parole, leur dit: Ce ne sont pas ceux qui se portent bien qui ont besoin de médecin, mais les malades.
32 Je ne suis pas venu appeler à la repentance des justes, mais des pécheurs.
33 Ils lui dirent: Les disciples de Jean, comme ceux des pharisiens, jeûnent fréquemment et font des prières, tandis que les tiens mangent et boivent.
34 Il leur répondit: Pouvez-vous faire jeûner les amis de l’époux pendant que l’époux est avec eux?
35 Les jours viendront où l’époux leur sera enlevé, alors ils jeûneront en ces jours-là.
36 Il leur dit aussi une parabole: Personne ne déchire d’un habit neuf un morceau pour le mettre à un vieil habit; car, il déchire l’habit neuf, et le morceau qu’il en a pris n’est pas assorti au vieux.
37 Et personne ne met du vin nouveau dans de vieilles outres; autrement, le vin nouveau fait rompre les outres, il se répand, et les outres sont perdues;
38 mais il faut mettre le vin nouveau dans des outres neuves.
39 Et personne, après avoir bu du vin vieux, ne veut du nouveau, car il dit: Le vieux est bon.

And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.
4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:
10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.
12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.
14 And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
15 But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.
16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
18 And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
23 Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
25 And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.
26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.
27 And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.
28 And he left all, rose up, and followed him.
29 And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.
30 But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.
32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
33 And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?
34 And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
35 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.
36 And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.
37 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.
38 But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.
39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.
