1 Jezi antre Jeriko, li t’ap travèse lavil la.
2 Te gen yon nonm nan lavil la yo rele Zache. Li te chèf pèseptè kontribisyon yo, se te yon nonm rich.
3 Li t’ap chache wè ki moun Jezi ye. Men, li te yon nonm ti tay. Akòz foul moun yo, li pa t’ kapab rive wè li.
4 Li pran kouri devan; li moute sou yon pye sikomò pou l’ wè Jezi ki te gen pou l’ te pase bò la.
5 Lè Jezi rive la, li leve je l’ anlè, li di l’: Zache, fè vit desann. Fòk mwen fè ladesant lakay ou jòdi a.
6 Zache prese desann, li resevwa Jezi ak kè kontan.
7 Lè yo wè sa, tout moun pran babye, yo t’ap di: Men nonm lan fè ladesant kay yon nonm ki plen peche.
8 Zache leve kanpe, li di Jezi konsa: Koute, Mèt. Mwen pral bay pòv mwatye tout byen mwen genyen. Si mwen te twonpe yon moun pou m’ pran lajan l’, mwen pral rann li kat fwa lavalè.
9 Jezi di li: Jòdi a, kay sa a delivre paske nonm sa a se yon pitit Abraram li ye tou.
10 Moun Bondye voye nan lachè a vin chache sa ki te pèdi pou l’ delivre yo.
11 Apre sa, Jezi rakonte yon parabòl pou moun ki te fèk tande pawòl sa yo. Paske li te toupre lavil Jerizalèm lan, yo te kwè gouvènman Bondye ki Wa a tapral parèt touswit.
12 Men sa l’ di yo: Vwala, se te yon nonm gran fanmi ki te al nan yon peyi byen lwen. Li te al fè yo ba l’ otorite pou l’ wa, apre sa pou l’ te tounen lakay li ankò.
13 Anvan li ale, li rele dis nan domestik li yo, li ba yo chak yon pyès lò, li di yo: Fè lajan an travay jouk mwen tounen.
14 Men, pwòp moun peyi l’ yo te rayi li. Yo voye kèk mesaje dèyè l’ pou di: Nou pa vle nonm sa a pou wa nou.
15 Malgre sa, yo bay nonm lan otorite pou l’ wa, epi l’ tounen nan peyi li. Lè sa a, li fè rele domestik li te bay lajan yo pou yo vin kote l’: li te bezwen konnen ki benefis yo chak te fè.
16 Premye a vini, li di: Monwa, pyès lò ou te ban mwen an rapòte dis pyès ankò.
17 Wa a di l’: Sa se bèl bagay. Ou se yon bon domestik. M’ap mete ou gouvènen dis vil, paske ou te fè ti travay sa a byen.
18 Dezyèm lan vini, li di: Monwa, pyès lò ou te ban mwen an rapòte senk lòt pyès.
19 Wa a di l’: Ou menm, m’ap mete ou gouvènen senk vil.
20 Yon lòt vini, li di: Monwa, men pyès lò ou la. Mwen te sere l’ nan yon mouchwa.
21 Mwen te pè ou, paske ou se yon nonm ki di: ou pran sa ki pa pou ou, ou rekòlte sa ou pa simen.
22 Wa a reponn: Gade jan ou se yon move domestik! M’ap jije ou ak pawòl ki sot nan bouch ou. Ou te konnen m’ se yon nonm ki di, mwen pran sa ki pa pou mwen, mwen rekòlte sa m’ pa simen,
23 poukisa ou pa t’ mete lajan m’ labank; lè m’ ta tounen, mwen ta wete l’ ak yon enterè.
24 Li di moun ki te la yo: Wete lajan an nan men li. Bay nonm ki gen dis pyès yo li.
25 Yo di l’: Men, monwa, li gen dis pyès deja.
26 Mwen di nou: Moun ki genyen deja a, y’a ba li ankò; men moun ki pa gen anyen menm lan, y’a wete nan men l’ menm ti sa l’ te genyen an.
27 Kanta lènmi m’ yo ki pa t’ vle mwen pou wa yo, mennen yo isit, touye yo la devan je mwen.
28 Apre Jezi fin pale konsa, li pran mache devan yo pou li al Jerizalèm.
29 Lè Jezi rive toupre Betfaje ak Betani, bò ti mòn Oliv la, li pran de nan disip li yo, li voye yo devan,
30 li di yo konsa: Ale nan bouk ki devan nou an. Lè n’a rive, n’a jwenn yon jenn ti bourik mare; pesonn pa kò janm moute sou li. Lage l’, mennen l’ ban mwen.
31 Nenpòt moun ki mande nou: Poukisa n’ap lage l’? N’a reponn: Se Mèt la ki bezwen li.
32 De disip yo ale; yo jwenn tout bagay jan Jezi te di yo a.
33 Pandan y’ap lage ti bourik la, mèt li di yo: Poukisa n’ap lage ti bourik la?
34 Yo reponn: Se Mèt la ki bezwen li.
35 Apre sa, yo mennen ti bourik la bay Jezi. Yo mete rad yo sou do ti bourik la, yo fè Jezi moute sou li.
36 Pandan Jezi t’ap vanse sou bourik la, moun yo tann rad yo atè sou tout chemen an.
37 Lè l’ rive toupre Jerizalèm, nan ladesant mòn Oliv la, yon sèl kontantman pran tout foul moun ki t’ap swiv li yo; yo pran fè lwanj Bondye byen fò pou tout mirak yo te wè.
38 Yo t’ap di: benediksyon pou Wa ki vini nan non Mèt la! Kè poze pou tout moun nan syèl la! Lwanj pou Bondye!
39 Te gen kèk farizyen nan mitan foul la. Yo di Jezi konsa: Mèt, manyè fè disip ou yo pe bouch yo non.
40 Jezi reponn: M’ap di nou sa: si yo pe bouch yo, wòch yo va pran rele.
41 Lè Jezi rive toupre lavil la, li wè l’, li pran kriye sou li,
42 li di: Si sèlman, jòdi a ou te kapab konprann, ou menm tou, bagay ki pou fè kè ou poze? Men, koulye a, yo kache; ou pa kapab wè yo!
43 Gen yon tan k’ap vin sou ou: lè sa a, lènmi ou yo va sènen ou toupatou, y’a fèmen ou nèt, y’a kwense ou sou tout bò.
44 Y’a detwi ou nèt ansanm ak tout moun ki nan mitan ou yo. Yo p’ap kite yon wòch kanpe sou yon lòt, paske ou pa t’ rekonèt jou Bondye te vin pote ou sekou a.
45 Jezi antre nan tanp lan, li pran chase tout moun ki t’ap vann yo.
46 Li di yo: Men sa ki ekri: Se pou kay mwen an yon kay kote moun vin lapriyè nan pye m’; men, nou menm, nou fè l’ tounen kachèt vòlè.
47 Chak jou, Jezi te nan tanp lan, li t’ap moutre moun yo anpil bagay. Chèf prèt yo, dirèktè lalwa yo ak chèf pèp la t’ap chache ki jan pou yo touye li.
48 Men, yo pa t’ kapab jwenn yon jan pou yo te fè sa, paske tout pèp la t’ap koute sa l’ t’ap di san yo pa pèdi yon mo.

Luc 19
1 Jésus, étant entré dans Jéricho, traversait la ville.
2 Et voici, un homme riche, appelé Zachée, chef des publicains, cherchait à voir qui était Jésus;
3 mais il ne pouvait y parvenir, à cause de la foule, car il était de petite taille.
4 Il courut en avant, et monta sur un sycomore pour le voir, parce qu’il devait passer par là.
5 Lorsque Jésus fut arrivé à cet endroit, il leva les yeux et lui dit: Zachée, hâte-toi de descendre; car il faut que je demeure aujourd’hui dans ta maison.
6 Zachée se hâta de descendre, et le reçut avec joie.
7 Voyant cela, tous murmuraient, et disaient: Il est allé loger chez un homme pécheur.
8 Mais Zachée, se tenant devant le Seigneur, lui dit: Voici, Seigneur, je donne aux pauvres la moitié de mes biens, et, si j’ai fait tort de quelque chose à quelqu’un, je lui rends le quadruple.
9 Jésus lui dit: Le salut est entré aujourd’hui dans cette maison, parce que celui-ci est aussi un fils d’Abraham.
10 Car le Fils de l’homme est venu chercher et sauver ce qui était perdu.
11 Ils écoutaient ces choses, et Jésus ajouta une parabole, parce qu’il était près de Jérusalem, et qu’on croyait qu’à l’instant le royaume de Dieu allait paraître.
12 Il dit donc: Un homme de haute naissance s’en alla dans un pays lointain, pour se faire investir de l’autorité royale, et revenir ensuite.
13 Il appela dix de ses serviteurs, leur donna dix mines, et leur dit: Faites-les valoir jusqu’à ce que je revienne.
14 Mais ses concitoyens le haïssaient, et ils envoyèrent une ambassade après lui, pour dire: Nous ne voulons pas que cet homme règne sur nous.
15 Lorsqu’il fut de retour, après avoir été investi de l’autorité royale, il fit appeler auprès de lui les serviteurs auxquels il avait donné l’argent, afin de connaître comment chacun l’avait fait valoir.
16 Le premier vint, et dit: Seigneur, ta mine a rapporté dix mines.
17 Il lui dit: C’est bien, bon serviteur; parce que tu as été fidèle en peu de chose, reçois le gouvernement de dix villes.
18 Le second vint, et dit: Seigneur, ta mine a produit cinq mines.
19 Il lui dit: Toi aussi, sois établi sur cinq villes.
20 Un autre vint, et dit: Seigneur, voici ta mine, que j’ai gardée dans un linge;
21 car j’avais peur de toi, parce que tu es un homme sévère; tu prends ce que tu n’as pas déposé, et tu moissonnes ce que tu n’as pas semé.
22 Il lui dit: Je te juge sur tes paroles, méchant serviteur; tu savais que je suis un homme sévère, prenant ce que je n’ai pas déposé, et moissonnant ce que je n’ai pas semé;
23 pourquoi donc n’as-tu pas mis mon argent dans une banque, afin qu’à mon retour je le retirasse avec un intérêt?
24 Puis il dit à ceux qui étaient là: Otez-lui la mine, et donnez-la à celui qui a les dix mines.
25 Ils lui dirent: Seigneur, il a dix mines. –
26 Je vous le dis, on donnera à celui qui a, mais à celui qui n’a pas on ôtera même ce qu’il a.
27 Au reste, amenez ici mes ennemis, qui n’ont pas voulu que je régnasse sur eux, et tuez-les en ma présence.
28 Après avoir ainsi parlé, Jésus marcha devant la foule, pour monter à Jérusalem.
29 Lorsqu’il approcha de Bethphagé et de Béthanie, vers la montagne appelée montagne des Oliviers, Jésus envoya deux de ses disciples,
30 en disant: Allez au village qui est en face; quand vous y serez entrés, vous trouverez un ânon attaché, sur lequel aucun homme ne s’est jamais assis; détachez-le, et amenez-le.
31 Si quelqu’un vous demande: Pourquoi le détachez-vous? vous lui répondrez: Le Seigneur en a besoin.
32 Ceux qui étaient envoyés allèrent, et trouvèrent les choses comme Jésus leur avait dit.
33 Comme ils détachaient l’ânon, ses maîtres leur dirent: Pourquoi détachez-vous l’ânon?
34 Ils répondirent: Le Seigneur en a besoin.
35 Et ils amenèrent à Jésus l’ânon, sur lequel ils jetèrent leurs vêtements, et firent monter Jésus.
36 Quand il fut en marche, les gens étendirent leurs vêtements sur le chemin.
37 Et lorsque déjà il approchait de Jérusalem, vers la descente de la montagne des Oliviers, toute la multitude des disciples, saisie de joie, se mit à louer Dieu à haute voix pour tous les miracles qu’ils avaient vus.
38 Ils disaient: Béni soit le roi qui vient au nom du Seigneur! Paix dans le ciel, et gloire dans les lieux très hauts!
39 Quelques pharisiens, du milieu de la foule, dirent à Jésus: Maître, reprends tes disciples.
40 Et il répondit: Je vous le dis, s’ils se taisent, les pierres crieront!
41 Comme il approchait de la ville, Jésus, en la voyant, pleura sur elle, et dit:
42 Si toi aussi, au moins en ce jour qui t’est donné, tu connaissais les choses qui appartiennent à ta paix! Mais maintenant elles sont cachées à tes yeux.
43 Il viendra sur toi des jours où tes ennemis t’environneront de tranchées, t’enfermeront, et te serreront de toutes parts;
44 ils te détruiront, toi et tes enfants au milieu de toi, et ils ne laisseront pas en toi pierre sur pierre, parce que tu n’as pas connu le temps où tu as été visitée.
45 Il entra dans le temple, et il se mit à chasser ceux qui vendaient,
46 leur disant: Il est écrit: Ma maison sera une maison de prière. Mais vous, vous en avez fait une caverne de voleurs.
47 Il enseignait tous les jours dans le temple. Et les principaux sacrificateurs, les scribes, et les principaux du peuple cherchaient à le faire périr;
48 mais ils ne savaient comment s’y prendre, car tout le peuple l’écoutait avec admiration.

1 And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.
2 And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.
3 And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.
4 And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.
5 And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.
6 And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
7 And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.
8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.
12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
18 And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
19 And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.
20 And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
21 For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.
22 And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:
23 Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?
24 And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.
25 (And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.)
26 For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
28 And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem.
29 And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,
30 Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.
31 And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.
32 And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.
33 And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?
34 And they said, The Lord hath need of him.
35 And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.
36 And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.
37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
47 And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,
48 And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.
