2 Se la Satan vin tante l’ pandan karant jou. Tout jou sa yo li pa t’ manje anyen menm. Apre jou sa yo fin pase, li te grangou.
3 Satan di l’ konsa: Si ou se Pitit Bondye, bay wòch sa a lòd pou l’ tounen pen.
4 Jezi reponn li: Men sa ki ekri: Moun pa ka viv ak pen sèlman.
5 Satan mennen l’ yon kote ki wo. Yon sèl kou, li moutre l’ tout peyi ki sou latè.
6 Li di Jezi konsa: M’ap ba ou tout pouvwa ak tout richès peyi sa yo. Yo renmèt tout bagay sa yo nan men mwen, mwen ka bay moun mwen vle yo.
7 Si ou mete ajenou devan m’, tout bagay sa yo pou ou.
8 Jezi reponn li: Men sa ki ekri: Se Mèt la, Bondye ou, pou ou adore. Se li menm ase pou ou sèvi.
9 Apre sa, Satan mennen l’ lavil Jerizalèm, li mete l’ kanpe sou pwent fetay tanp lan; li di Jezi konsa: Si ou se Pitit Bondye, rete isit la lage kò ou anba.
10 Paske, men sa ki ekri: Bondye va bay zanj li yo lòd pou yo veye sou ou.
11 Y’a pote ou nan men yo pou ou pa kase pye ou sou ankenn wòch.
12 Jezi reponn li: Men sa ki ekri tou: Ou pa dwe seye sonde Mèt la, Bondye ou.
13 Apre Satan fin sonde Jezi tout jan sa yo, li kite l’ jouk la jwenn yon lòt okasyon.
14 Jezi te anba pouvwa Sentespri Bondye a; li tounen, li ale nan peyi Galile. Nan tout peyi a se tout moun ki t’ap nonmen non li.
15 Li t’ap moutre moun yo anpil bagay nan sinagòg yo. Tout moun t’ap fè lwanj li.
16 Jezi ale lavil Nazarèt kote l’ te grandi a. Jou repo a, li antre nan sinagòg la tankou l’ te toujou konn fè. Li leve kanpe pou l’ li pou yo.
17 Yo renmèt li liv pwofèt Ezayi a. Lè li louvri l’, li jwenn kote ki te ekri:
18 Lespri Bondye a sou mwen. Li chwazi m’ pou m’ anonse bon nouvèl la bay pòv yo. Li voye m’ pou m’ fè tout prizonye yo konnen yo lage, pou m’ fè tout avèg yo konnen yo kapab wè ankò, pou m’ delivre moun y’ap maltrete yo,
19 pou m’ fè yo konenn lè a rive pou Bondye vin delivre pèp li a.
20 Apre sa, Jezi fèmen Liv la, li renmèt li bay moun ki t’ap ede nan sèvis la. li al chita. Tout moun ki te nan sinagòg la te gen je yo fikse sou li.

26 Men, Bondye pa t’ voye Eli lakay yo yonn menm; se lakay yon vèv ki te rete lavil Sarepta nan peyi Sidon li te voye li.
27 Konsa tou, sou tan pwofèt Elize, te gen anpil moun ki te malad ak lalèp nan pèp Izrayèl la. Men, yo yonn pa t’ jwenn gerizon. Se Naaman sèlman, nonm peyi Siri a, ki te geri.
28 Tout moun nan sinagòg la te byen ankòlè lè yo tande pawòl sa yo.
29 Yo leve, yo trennen l’ andeyò lavil la; yo mennen l’ sou tèt ti mòn kote lavil la te bati a, yo t’ap pare pou yo te jete l’ anba nan falèz la.
30 Men, Jezi pase nan mitan yo, li chape kò li.
31 Apre sa, Jezi desann Kapènawòm, yon vil nan peyi Galile. Jou repo a, li t’ap moutre moun yo anpil bagay.
32 Yo te sezi tande sa l’ t’ap moutre yo, paske li t’ap pale tankou moun ki gen dwa di sa l’ap di a.
33 Te gen yon nonm nan sinagòg la ki te gen yon move lespri sou li. Li pran rele byen fò:
34 Ey, kisa nou gen avè ou, Jezi, nonm Nazarèt? Ou vin isit la pou detwi nou? Mwen konnen byen ki moun ou ye; ou se moun Bondye chwazi a.
35 Jezi pale byen fò ak move lespri a, li di li: Pe la! Soti sou nonm lan. Move lespri a jete nonm lan atè nan mitan tout moun yo epi li soti, li ale san l’ pa fè l’ ankenn mal.
36 Tout moun te sezi, yonn t’ap di lòt: Ki pawòl sa a ye menm? Avèk otorite ak pouvwa li pase move lespri yo lòd sevè epi yo soti, y’ ale.
37 Se tout moun ki t’ap nonmen non l’ nan tout peyi a.
38 Jezi soti, li kite sinagòg la, li ale lakay Simon. Bèlmè Simon an te gen yon gwo lafyèb cho sou li. Yo mande Jezi pou l’ fè kichòy pou li.
39 Li panche sou malad la, li pase lafyèb la yon lòd. Lamenm, lafyèb la kite li. Menm lè a, madanm lan leve, li resevwa yo.
40 Apre solèy te fin kouche, yo mennen tout moun malad ak tout moun ki t’ap soufri divès maladi bay Jezi. Li mete men l’ sou tèt yo tout, li geri yo.
41 Anpil move lespri tou te soti sou plizyè moun malad. Yo t’ap plede rele: Ou se pitit Bondye a. Men, Jezi te pale sevè ak yo, li pa t’ kite yo pale paske yo te konnen se Kris la li ye.
42 Kou l’ fè jou, Jezi soti, li ale yon kote ki pa gen moun. Yon foul moun t’ap chache li. Konsa, yo rive jouk kote li te ye a. Yo te vle kenbe l’ pou l’ pa t’ kite yo.
43 Men li di yo: Fòk m’ anonse bon nouvèl gouvènman Bondye ki Wa a bay moun lòt lavil yo tou, paske se pou sa Bondye voye mwen.
44 Se konsa, li t’ap mache bay mesaj la nan sinagòg Jide yo.

Luc 4
1 Jésus, rempli du Saint Esprit, revint du Jourdain, et il fut conduit par l’Esprit dans le désert,
2 où il fut tenté par le diable pendant quarante jours. Il ne mangea rien durant ces jours-là, et, après qu’ils furent écoulés, il eut faim.
3 Le diable lui dit: Si tu es Fils de Dieu, ordonne à cette pierre qu’elle devienne du pain.
4 Jésus lui répondit: Il est écrit: L’Homme ne vivra pas de pain seulement.
5 Le diable, l’ayant élevé, lui montra en un instant tous les royaumes de la terre,
6 et lui dit: Je te donnerai toute cette puissance, et la gloire de ces royaumes; car elle m’a été donnée, et je la donne à qui je veux.
7 Si donc tu te prosternes devant moi, elle sera toute à toi.
8 Jésus lui répondit: Il est écrit: Tu adoreras le Seigneur, ton Dieu, et tu le serviras lui seul.
9 Le diable le conduisit encore à Jérusalem, le plaça sur le haut du temple, et lui dit: Si tu es Fils de Dieu, jette-toi d’ici en bas; car il est écrit:
10 Il donnera des ordres à ses anges à ton sujet, Afin qu’ils te gardent;
11 et: Ils te porteront sur les mains, De peur que ton pied ne heurte contre une pierre.
12 Jésus lui répondit: Il es dit: Tu ne tenteras point le Seigneur, ton Dieu.
13 Après l’avoir tenté de toutes ces manières, le diable s’éloigna de lui jusqu’à un moment favorable.
14 Jésus, revêtu de la puissance de l’Esprit, retourna en Galilée, et sa renommée se répandit dans tout le pays d’alentour.
15 Il enseignait dans les synagogues, et il était glorifié par tous.
16 Il se rendit à Nazareth, où il avait été élevé, et, selon sa coutume, il entra dans la synagogue le jour du sabbat. Il se leva pour faire la lecture,
17 et on lui remit le livre du prophète Ésaïe. L’ayant déroulé, il trouva l’endroit où il était écrit:
18 L’Esprit du Seigneur est sur moi, Parce qu’il m’a oint pour annoncer une bonne nouvelle aux pauvres; Il m’a envoyé pour guérir ceux qui ont le coeur brisé,
19 Pour proclamer aux captifs la délivrance, Et aux aveugles le recouvrement de la vue, Pour renvoyer libres les opprimés, Pour publier une année de grâce du Seigneur.
20 Ensuite, il roula le livre, le remit au serviteur, et s’assit. Tous ceux qui se trouvaient dans la synagogue avaient les regards fixés sur lui.
21 Alors il commença à leur dire: Aujourd’hui cette parole de l’Écriture, que vous venez d’entendre, est accomplie.
22 Et tous lui rendaient témoignage; ils étaient étonnés des paroles de grâce qui sortaient de sa bouche, et ils disaient: N’est-ce pas le fils de Joseph?
23 Jésus leur dit: Sans doute vous m’appliquerez ce proverbe: Médecin, guéris-toi toi-même; et vous me direz: Fais ici, dans ta patrie, tout ce que nous avons appris que tu as fait à Capernaüm.
24 Mais, ajouta-t-il, je vous le dis en vérité, aucun prophète n’est bien reçu dans sa patrie.
25 Je vous le dis en vérité: il y avait plusieurs veuves en Israël du temps d’Élie, lorsque le ciel fut fermé trois ans et six mois et qu’il y eut une grande famine sur toute la terre;
26 et cependant Élie ne fut envoyé vers aucune d’elles, si ce n’est vers une femme veuve, à Sarepta, dans le pays de Sidon.
27 Il y avait aussi plusieurs lépreux en Israël du temps d’Élisée, le prophète; et cependant aucun d’eux ne fut purifié, si ce n’est Naaman le Syrien.
28 Ils furent tous remplis de colère dans la synagogue, lorsqu’ils entendirent ces choses.
29 Et s’étant levés, ils le chassèrent de la ville, et le menèrent jusqu’au sommet de la montagne sur laquelle leur ville était bâtie, afin de le précipiter en bas.
30 Mais Jésus, passant au milieu d’eux, s’en alla.
31 Il descendit à Capernaüm, ville de la Galilée; et il enseignait, le jour du sabbat.
32 On était frappé de sa doctrine; car il parlait avec autorité.
33 Il se trouva dans la synagogue un homme qui avait un esprit de démon impur, et qui s’écria d’une voix forte:
34 Ah! qu’y a-t-il entre nous et toi, Jésus de Nazareth? Tu es venu pour nous perdre. Je sais qui tu es: le Saint de Dieu.
35 Jésus le menaça, disant: Tais-toi, et sors de cet homme. Et le démon le jeta au milieu de l’assemblée, et sortit de lui, sans lui faire aucun mal.
36 Tous furent saisis de stupeur, et ils se disaient les uns aux autres: Quelle est cette parole? il commande avec autorité et puissance aux esprits impurs, et ils sortent!
37 Et sa renommée se répandit dans tous les lieux d’alentour.
38 En sortant de la synagogue, il se rendit à la maison de Simon. La belle-mère de Simon avait une violente fièvre, et ils le prièrent en sa faveur.
39 S’étant penché sur elle, il menaça la fièvre, et la fièvre la quitta. A l’instant elle se leva, et les servit.
40 Après le couché du soleil, tous ceux qui avaient des malades atteints de diverses maladies les lui amenèrent. Il imposa les mains à chacun d’eux, et il les guérit.
41 Des démons aussi sortirent de beaucoup de personnes, en criant et en disant: Tu es le Fils de Dieu. Mais il les menaçait et ne leur permettait pas de parler, parce qu’ils savaient qu’il était le Christ.
42 Dès que le jour parut, il sortit et alla dans un lieu désert. Une foule de gens se mirent à sa recherche, et arrivèrent jusqu’à lui; ils voulaient le retenir, afin qu’il ne les quittât point.
43 Mais il leur dit: Il faut aussi que j’annonce aux autres villes la bonne nouvelle du royaume de Dieu; car c’est pour cela que j’ai été envoyé.
44 Et il prêchait dans les synagogues de la Galilée.

1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
22 And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?
23 And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.
24 And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.
25 But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;
26 But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.
27 And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.
28 And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,
29 And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.
30 But he passing through the midst of them went his way,
31 And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.
32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.
33 And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,
34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.
35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.
36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.
37 And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.
38 And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon’s house. And Simon’s wife’s mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.
39 And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.
40 Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.
41 And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.
42 And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them.
43 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.
44 And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.
