Sòm 126
1 Se yon chante pou yo chante lè y’ap moute lavil Jerizalèm. Lè Seyè a te fè moun Siyon yo te depòte yo tounen lakay yo, se tankou si nou te nan rèv: Nou pa t’ vle kwè se te vre!
2 Ala ri nou te ri! Ala chante nou te chante tèlman nou te kontan! Lè sa a, lòt nasyon yo t’ap di: -Seyè a fè anpil bèl bagay pou yo!
3 Wi, li tè fè anpil bèl bagay pou nou, sa te fè kè nou kontan anpil.
4 Seyè, tanpri, fè moun yo te fè prizonye yo tounen nan peyi yo, menm jan lapli ou fè larivyè ki te sèk la koule ankò.
5 Moun ki simen ak dlo nan je ap rekòlte ak kè kontan.
6 Moun ki t’ap kriye lè yo t’aprale avèk grenn pou yo simen nan jaden yo, y’ap tounen ak bèl chante nan bouch yo sitèlman yo kontan lè y’ap pote rekòt la lakay yo.

1 Cantique des degrés. Quand l’Éternel ramena les captifs de Sion, Nous étions comme ceux qui font un rêve.
2 Alors notre bouche était remplie de cris de joie, Et notre langue de chants d’allégresse; Alors on disait parmi les nations: L’Éternel a fait pour eux de grandes choses!
3 L’Éternel a fait pour nous de grandes choses; Nous sommes dans la joie.
4 Éternel, ramène nos captifs, Comme des ruisseaux dans le midi!
5 Ceux qui sèment avec larmes Moissonneront avec chants d’allégresse.
6 Celui qui marche en pleurant, quand il porte la semence, Revient avec allégresse, quand il porte ses gerbes.

Psalm 126
When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.
3 The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
4 Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south.
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
