Sòm 87
1 Se yon sòm pitit Kore yo. Se yon chante li ye. Bondye bati lavil li a sou mòn ki apa pou li a!
2 Li renmen lavil Jerizalèm pi plis pase tout lòt kote nan peyi Jakòb la.
3 Ou menm, lavil Bondye a, tande bèl bagay y’ap di sou ou:
4 Lè m’ap nonmen non moun k’ap sèvi m’ yo, m’ap mete moun peyi Lejip, moun peyi Babilòn sou lis la. Moun peyi Filisti, moun peyi Tir ak moun peyi Etiopi, se Jerizalèm yo fèt.
5 Lè moun ap pale sou mòn Siyon an yo di: -Yo rele l’ manman, paske se la yo tout fèt. Se Bondye anwo nan syèl la ki mete l’ kanpe.
6 Seyè a fè lis tout pèp yo, li fè yo tout pase pou moun lavil Jerizalèm.
7 Moun k’ap chante yo ansanm ak moun k’ap danse yo ap repete byen fò: -Se ou menm ki manman nou tout.

1 Des fils de Koré. Psaume. Cantique. Elle est fondée sur les montagnes saintes.
2 L’Éternel aime les portes de Sion Plus que toutes les demeures de Jacob.
3 Des choses glorieuses ont été dites sur toi, Ville de Dieu! Pause.
4 Je proclame l’Égypte et Babylone parmi ceux qui me connaissent; Voici, le pays des Philistins, Tyr, avec l’Éthiopie: C’est dans Sion qu’ils sont nés.
5 Et de Sion il est dit: Tous y sont nés, Et c’est le Très Haut qui l’affermit.
6 L’Éternel compte en inscrivant les peuples: C’est là qu’ils sont nés. Pause.
7 Et ceux qui chantent et ceux qui dansent s’écrient: Toutes mes sources sont en toi.

1 His foundation is in the holy mountains.
2 The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.
4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.
5 And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.
6 The Lord shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.
7 As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.
