1 Men Sòl, bò pa li, pa t’ sispann menase touye disip Seyè yo. li al jwenn granprèt la.
2 Li mande l’ lèt otorizasyon pou tout sinagòg ki nan lavil Damas. Konsa, tout moun li ta jwenn k’ap swiv chemen Bondye a, fanm kou gason, li te ka arete yo, mare yo mennen Jerizalèm.
3 Antan l’ te sou wout la, prèt pou rive lavil Damas, li rete konsa yon limyè soti nan syèl la, li klere tout kote l’ te ye a.
4 Sòl tonbe atè, epi l’ tande yon vwa ki di li: Sòl, Sòl, poukisa w’ap pèsekite mwen konsa?
5 Li reponn: Ki moun ou ye, Mèt? Vwa a reponn li: Mwen se Jezi, moun w’ap pèsekite a.
6 Leve, antre lavil la. Se la y’a di ou sa ou gen pou fè.
7 Moun ki t’ap vwayaje ansanm ak Sòl yo te rete san di yon mo: yo te tande vwa a byen klè, men yo pa t’ wè pesonn.
8 Sòl leve atè a, li louvri je l’ men li pa t’ kapab wè anyen. Yo pran men l’, yo mennen l’ lavil Damas.
9 Li rete la twa jou san wè, san manje, san bwè.
10 Nan lavil Damas te gen yon disip ki te rele Ananyas. Seyè a parèt devan l’ nan yon vizyon, li rele li: Ananyas. Ananyas reponn: Men mwen, Seyè.
11 Seyè a di li: Leve koulye a, ale nan Ri Dwat la lakay Jida, mande pou yon nonm yo rele Sòl, moun lavil Tas. L’ap lapriyè kote l’ ye a,
12 li fè yon vizyon: li wè yon nonm yo rele Ananyas antre vin mete men sou tèt li pou l’ kapab wè ankò.
13 Ananyas reponn: Seyè, mwen tande nan bouch anpil moun kantite mechanste li fè moun pa ou yo pase lavil Jerizalèm.
14 Epitou li vin isit la ak pouvwa pou l’ arete dènye moun k’ap rele non ou. Se chèf prèt yo menm ki ba l’ pouvwa sa a.
15 Men, Seyè a di li: Ale. Paske nonm sa a, mwen chwazi l’ pou sèvis mwen, pou l’ fè tout moun konnen non mwen, moun lòt nasyon yo ak tout wa yo ansanm ak pèp Izrayèl la.
16 Mwen menm, m’a moutre l’ tou sa li gen pou l’ soufri pou mwen.
17 Ananyas ale, li antre nan kay la, li mete men l’ sou tèt Sòl, li di li: Sòl, frè mwen, Seyè Jezi voye m’ kote ou. Se li menm ki te parèt devan ou sou granchemen an lè ou t’ap vini an. Li voye m’ pou ou ka wè ankò, pou ou vin anba pouvwa Sentespri.
18 Menm lè a, bagay tankou kal pwason sot tonbe nan je Sòl, epi l’ wè ankò. Sòl leve, li resevwa batèm.
19 Apre sa, li manje epi l’ vin gen fòs ankò. Sòl rete pase kèk jou ankò ak disip ki te Damas yo.
20 Menm lè a tou, li kòmanse bay mesaj la nan sinagòg yo, li t’ap fè moun konnen Jezi se pitit Bondye.
21 Tout moun ki te tande l’ te sezi, yo t’ap di: Apa nonm sa a ki t’ap maltrete tout moun ki t’ap rele non sa a lavil Jerizalèm? Se pa li ki vin isit la toutespre pou arete yo, pou mennen yo bay chèf prèt yo?
22 Men, Sòl t’ap vin pi fò toujou. Li t’ap fèmen bouch tout jwif ki t’ap viv Damas yo lè li t’ap moutre yo Jezi se moun Bondye te chwazi pou l’ voye a menm.
23 Kèk jou apre sa, jwif yo fè konplo pou yo touye li.
24 Men, Sòl te pran nouvèl konplo a. Lajounen kou lannwit yo t’ap veye pòtay lavil la pou yo touye li.
25 Lè sa a, patizan Sòl yo pran l’ nan mitan lannwit, yo mete l’ nan yon panyen, yo file l’ desann lòt bò miray lavil la.
26 Lè Sòl rive lavil Jerizalèm li te vle mete l’ ak disip yo, men yo tout te pè l’: yo pa t’ kwè li te yon disip tout bon vre.
27 Lè sa a, Banabas pran l’ avè l’, epi li mennen l’ bò kot apòt yo. Li rakonte yo ki jan Sòl te wè Seyè a sou wout la, ki jan Seyè a te pale avè li. Li di yo tou ki jan nan lavil Damas Sòl te anonse bon nouvèl la nan non Jezi avèk konviksyon.
28 Depi lè sa a Sòl te toujou ak disip yo. Li t’ap ale vini ak yo nan tout Jerizalèm, li t’ap bay mesaj la avèk konviksyon nan non Seyè a.
29 Li t’ap pale avèk jwif ki pale lang grèk la, li t’ap diskite avèk yo. Men, yo menm yo t’ap chache touye li.
30 Lè frè yo vin konn sa, yo mennen l’ lavil Sezare, yo fè l’ pati pou Tas.
31 Lè sa a, legliz la te gen repo toupatou nan Jide, nan Galile ak nan Samari. Li t’ap devlope, li t’ap viv avèk krentif pou Bondye. Avèk konkou Sentespri, li t’ap resevwa anpil moun toujou.
32 Pyè menm t’ap vwayaje toupatou nan peyi a. Yon jou li te al lakay disip yo nan lavil Lida,
33 li jwenn yon nonm yo te rele Ine ki te kouche sou yon kabann depi witan. Nonm sa a te paralize.
34 Pyè di li: Ine, Jezikri ap geri ou. Leve non, ranje kabann ou. Lamenm, Ine leve kanpe.
35 Tout moun ki t’ap viv nan lavil Lida a ak nan laplenn Sawon an te wè li, epi yo tounen vin jwenn Bondye.
36 Nan lavil Jope te gen yon fanm yo te rele Tabita. (An lang grèk yo te rele l’: Dòkas, ki vle di: Ti Gazèl.) Se te yon patizan Jezi li te ye. Li t’ap pase tout tan li ap fè byen epi li t’ap ede pòv yo anpil.
37 Lè sa a, li tonbe malad epi l’ mouri. Yo benyen kò a, yo mete l’ nan chanm anwo kay la.
38 Lavil Jope pa t’ twò lwen ak lavil Lida. Lè disip ki te Jope yo vin konnen Pyè te Lida, yo voye de moun bò kote l’ avèk mesaj sa a: Tanpri, pa mize vin lakay nou.
39 Pyè pati lamenm avèk yo. Lè l’ rive, yo mennen l’ nan chanm ki te anwo kay la. Tout vèv yo pwoche, yo t’ap kriye. Yo t’ap moutre l’ chemiz ak rad Dòkas te konn fè lè l’ te la avèk yo.
40 Pyè fè tout moun soti. Li mete jenou l’ atè, li lapriyè. Apre sa, li vire bò kot kò a, li di li: Tabita, leve non. Fanm lan louvri je l’, lè l’ wè Pyè, li chita.
41 Pyè lonje men l’ ba li, li fè l’ leve kanpe. Apre sa, Pyè rele disip yo ak vèv yo, li moutre yo Tabita vivan.
42 Yo vin konn sa nan lavil Jope. Anpil moun mete konfyans yo nan Seyè a.
43 Apre sa, Pyè rete lontan nan lavil Jope, lakay yon bòs tanè yo rele Simon.

Actes 9
1 Cependant Saul, respirant encore la menace et le meurtre contre les disciples du Seigneur, se rendit chez le souverain sacrificateur,
2 et lui demanda des lettres pour les synagogues de Damas, afin que, s’il trouvait des partisans de la nouvelle doctrine, hommes ou femmes, il les amenât liés à Jérusalem.
3 Comme il était en chemin, et qu’il approchait de Damas, tout à coup une lumière venant du ciel resplendit autour de lui.
4 Il tomba par terre, et il entendit une voix qui lui disait: Saul, Saul, pourquoi me persécutes-tu?
5 Il répondit: Qui es-tu, Seigneur? Et le Seigneur dit: Je suis Jésus que tu persécutes. Il te serait dur de regimber contre les aiguillons.
6 Tremblant et saisi d’effroi, il dit: Seigneur, que veux-tu que je fasse? Et le Seigneur lui dit: Lève-toi, entre dans la ville, et on te dira ce que tu dois faire.
7 Les hommes qui l’accompagnaient demeurèrent stupéfaits; ils entendaient bien la voix, mais ils ne voyaient personne.
8 Saul se releva de terre, et, quoique ses yeux fussent ouverts, il ne voyait rien; on le prit par la main, et on le conduisit à Damas.
9 Il resta trois jours sans voir, et il ne mangea ni ne but.
10 Or, il y avait à Damas un disciple nommé Ananias. Le Seigneur lui dit dans une vision: Ananias! Il répondit: Me voici, Seigneur!
11 Et le Seigneur lui dit: Lève-toi, va dans la rue qu’on appelle la droite, et cherche, dans la maison de Judas, un nommé Saul de Tarse.
12 Car il prie, et il a vu en vision un homme du nom d’Ananias, qui entrait, et qui lui imposait les mains, afin qu’il recouvrât la vue. Ananias répondit:
13 Seigneur, j’ai appris de plusieurs personnes tous les maux que cet homme a faits à tes saints dans Jérusalem;
14 et il a ici des pouvoirs, de la part des principaux sacrificateurs, pour lier tous ceux qui invoquent ton nom.
15 Mais le Seigneur lui dit: Va, car cet homme est un instrument que j’ai choisi, pour porter mon nom devant les nations, devant les rois, et devant les fils d’Israël;
16 et je lui montrerai tout ce qu’il doit souffrir pour mon nom.
17 Ananias sortit; et, lorsqu’il fut arrivé dans la maison, il imposa les mains à Saul, en disant: Saul, mon frère, le Seigneur Jésus, qui t’est apparu sur le chemin par lequel tu venais, m’a envoyé pour que tu recouvres la vue et que tu sois rempli du Saint Esprit.
18 Au même instant, il tomba de ses yeux comme des écailles, et il recouvra la vue. Il se leva, et fut baptisé;
19 et, après qu’il eut pris de la nourriture, les forces lui revinrent. Saul resta quelques jours avec les disciples qui étaient à Damas.
20 Et aussitôt il prêcha dans les synagogues que Jésus est le Fils de Dieu.
21 Tous ceux qui l’entendaient étaient dans l’étonnement, et disaient: N’est-ce pas celui qui persécutait à Jérusalem ceux qui invoquent ce nom, et n’est-il pas venu ici pour les emmener liés devant les principaux sacrificateurs?
22 Cependant Saul se fortifiait de plus en plus, et il confondait les Juifs qui habitaient Damas, démontrant que Jésus est le Christ.
23 Au bout d’un certain temps, les Juifs se concertèrent pour le tuer,
24 et leur complot parvint à la connaissance de Saul. On gardait les portes jour et nuit, afin de lui ôter la vie.
25 Mais, pendant une nuit, les disciples le prirent, et le descendirent par la muraille, dans une corbeille.
26 Lorsqu’il se rendit à Jérusalem, Saul tâcha de se joindre à eux; mais tous le craignaient, ne croyant pas qu’il fût un disciple.
27 Alors Barnabas, l’ayant pris avec lui, le conduisit vers les apôtres, et leur raconta comment sur le chemin Saul avait vu le Seigneur, qui lui avait parlé, et comment à Damas il avait prêché franchement au nom de Jésus.
28 Il allait et venait avec eux dans Jérusalem, et s’exprimait en toute assurance au nom du Seigneur.
29 Il parlait aussi et disputait avec les Hellénistes; mais ceux-ci cherchaient à lui ôter la vie.
30 Les frères, l’ayant su, l’emmenèrent à Césarée, et le firent partir pour Tarse.
31 L’Église était en paix dans toute la Judée, la Galilée et la Samarie, s’édifiant et marchant dans la crainte du Seigneur, et elle s’accroissait par l’assistance du Saint Esprit.
32 Comme Pierre visitait tous les saints, il descendit aussi vers ceux qui demeuraient à Lydde.
33 Il y trouva un homme nommé Énée, couché sur un lit depuis huit ans, et paralytique.
34 Pierre lui dit: Énée, Jésus Christ te guérit; lève-toi, et arrange ton lit. Et aussitôt il se leva.
35 Tous les habitants de Lydde et du Saron le virent, et ils se convertirent au Seigneur.
36 Il y avait à Joppé, parmi les disciples, une femme nommée Tabitha, ce qui signifie Dorcas: elle faisait beaucoup de bonnes oeuvres et d’aumônes.
37 Elle tomba malade en ce temps-là, et mourut. Après l’avoir lavée, on la déposa dans une chambre haute.
38 Comme Lydde est près de Joppé, les disciples, ayant appris que Pierre s’y trouvait, envoyèrent deux hommes vers lui, pour le prier de venir chez eux sans tarder.
39 Pierre se leva, et partit avec ces hommes. Lorsqu’il fut arrivé, on le conduisit dans la chambre haute. Toutes les veuves l’entourèrent en pleurant, et lui montrèrent les tuniques et les vêtements que faisait Dorcas pendant qu’elle était avec elles.
40 Pierre fit sortir tout le monde, se mit à genoux, et pria; puis, se tournant vers le corps, il dit: Tabitha, lève-toi! Elle ouvrit les yeux, et ayant vu Pierre, elle s’assit.
41 Il lui donna la main, et la fit lever. Il appela ensuite les saints et les veuves, et la leur présenta vivante.
42 Cela fut connu de tout Joppé, et beaucoup crurent au Seigneur.
43 Pierre demeura quelque temps à Joppé, chez un corroyeur nommé Simon.

1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
19 And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.
20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.
21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?
22 But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
23 And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:
24 But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.
25 Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.
26 And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple.
27 But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.
28 And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.
29 And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.
30 Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.
31 Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
32 And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.
33 And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.
34 And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.
35 And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.
36 Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
37 And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.
38 And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.
39 Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.
40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
41 And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.
42 And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.
43 And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.
