Sòm 97
1 Se Seyè a ki wa! Se pou tout moun ki sou latè fè kè yo kontan! Se pou moun ki nan tout zile yo fè fèt!
2 Li nan mitan yon gwo nwaj tou nwa. L’ap gouvènen tout bagay avèk jistis, san patipri.
3 Yon dife ap mache devan li. L’ap boule lènmi l’ yo tout kote l’ pase.
4 Kout zèklè li yo klere toupatou. Moun ki sou latè wè sa, yo pran tranble.
5 Ti mòn yo fonn tankou lasi devan Seyè a, wi, yo fonn devan chèf tout latè a.
6 Syèl la fè konnen jan Bondye pa nan patipri, tout pèp yo wè pouvwa li.
7 Tout moun k’ap sèvi zidòl yo, yo tout k’ap fè grandizè pou bagay ki pa vo anyen, yo tout gen pou yo wont. Tout bondye yo bese tèt devan li.
8 Pèp peyi Siyon an tande sa, li kontan. Tout lavil peyi Jida yo fè fèt pou jan ou jije moun, Seyè!
9 Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa, se ou menm ki sèl chèf sou tout latè, W’ap dominen sou tout bondye yo.
10 Seyè a renmen moun ki rayi sa ki mal. Li pwoteje lavi pèp li a, li delivre yo anba men mechan yo.
11 Limyè Bondye klere moun ki mache dwat devan li. Moun ki fe sa ki byen, l’ap fè kè yo kontan.
12 Nou tout ki mache dwat devan Bondye, fè kè nou kontan pou sa Seyè a fè pou nou. Di l’ mèsi! Li pa tankou tout moun.

Psaumes 97
1 L’Éternel règne: que la terre soit dans l’allégresse, Que les îles nombreuses se réjouissent!
2 Les nuages et l’obscurité l’environnent, La justice et l’équité sont la base de son trône.
3 Le feu marche devant lui, Et embrase à l’entour ses adversaires.
4 Ses éclairs illuminent le monde, La terre le voit et tremble;
5 Les montagnes se fondent comme la cire devant l’Éternel, Devant le Seigneur de toute la terre.
6 Les cieux publient sa justice, Et tous les peuples voient sa gloire.
7 Ils sont confus, tous ceux qui servent les images, Qui se font gloire des idoles. Tous les dieux se prosternent devant lui.
8 Sion l’entend et se réjouit, Les filles de Juda sont dans l’allégresse, A cause de tes jugements, ô Éternel!
9 Car toi, Éternel! tu es le Très Haut sur toute la terre, Tu es souverainement élevé au-dessus de tous les dieux.
10 Vous qui aimez l’Éternel, haïssez le mal! Il garde les âmes de ses fidèles, Il les délivre de la main des méchants.
11 La lumière est semée pour le juste, Et la joie pour ceux dont le coeur est droit.
12 Justes, réjouissez-vous en l’Éternel, Et célébrez par vos louanges sa sainteté!

Psalm 97
1 The Lord reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
2 Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.
3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.
4 His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.
7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.
8 Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O Lord.
9 For thou, Lord, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.
10 Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
12 Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
