1 Seyè a di: -Nou pa gen dwa fè zidòl, nou pa gen dwa fè estati, ni mete wòch kanpe. Nou pa gen dwa pran wòch pou fè desen souA li, lèfini pou n’ mete l’ kanpe yon kote nan peyi a pou nou adore yo. Se mwen menm ki Seyè a, Bondye nou an.
2 Se pou nou fete tout fèt mwen yo. Se pou nou respekte kay ki apa pou mwen an. Se mwen menm ki Seyè a!
3 Si nou mache dapre lòd mwen yo, si nou kenbe tout kòmandman m’ yo, si nou swiv yo,
4 lè sezon an rive, m’a ban nou lapli. Konsa, tè nou va bay rekòt, pyebwa nan jaden nou va donnen.
5 Lè sa a, nou p’ap anko fin bat ble, n’ap gen tan nan keyi rezen. Nou p’ap ankò fin keyi rezen, n’ap gen tan nan plante grenn. N’a gen kont manje pou nou manje, epi n’a rete nan peyi nou an san nou pa bezwen pè anyen.
6 M’a mete kè poze nan peyi a, n’a kouche dòmi san kè sote. M’ap fè tout bèt mawon disparèt nan peyi a, moun p’ap vin fè nou lagè ankò.
7 N’a kouri dèyè lènmi nou yo, n’a bat yo, n’a kraze yo ak nepe nou.
8 Senk moun nan mitan nou va kont pou bat san lènmi, san moun nan mitan nou va kont pou bat mil lènmi. N’a kraze lènmi nou yo anba kout nepe nou yo.
9 M’a beni nou, m’a ban nou pitit, m’a ban nou anpil pitit. Mwen menm, m’a kenbe kontra mwen te siyen ak nou an.
10 N’a sitèlman fè bèl rekòt, apre nou fin manje pandan ennan, n’a setoblije mete rès grenn dènye rekòt la deyò pou nou fè plas pou rekòt k’ap vin apre a.
11 M’ap rete nan mitan nou nan kay mwen an, m’ap toujou kontan ak nou.
12 M’a toujou la nan mitan nou, se mwen menm k’ap Bondye nou, se pèp mwen n’a ye.
13 Se mwen menm, Seyè a, Bondye nou an, ki te fè nou soti kite peyi Lejip pou nou pa t’ rete esklav moun sa yo ankò. Mwen kase gwo kòd lwijanboje ki t’ap jouke nou an, mwen fè nou mache tèt anlè.
14 Men tou, si nou pa koute m’, si nou pa vle fè tou sa m’ mande nou fè la a, m’ap peni nou.
15 Si nou meprize lòd mwen yo, si nou voye kòmandman mwen yo jete, si nou pa fè tou sa mwen mande nou fè, si nou pa kenbe kontra m’ pase ak nou an,
16 men ki jan m’ap peni nou: M’ap voye gwo malè sou nou. Maladi ap mennen nou. Lafyèb ap fè nou deperi. Nou p’ap ka wè nan je nou, n’ap pèdi souf nou. Nou va simen grenn nan jaden nou. Men, sa p’ap sèvi nou anyen, paske se lènmi nou yo ki va jwi rekòt nou yo.
17 M’a vire do ban nou, epi lènmi nou va bat nou. Moun ki pa vle wè nou yo va donminen sou nou. N’a rete konsa, n’a pran kouri san pa gen pesonn k’ap kouri dèyè nou.
18 Si, atousa toujou, nou pa koute m’, m’ap peni nou sèt fwa pi rèd pase anvan poutèt peche nou yo.
19 Pouvwa nou genyen an epi k’ap fè nou gonfle konsa a, m’ap kraze l’ nèt. Pa yon ti degout lapli p’ap tonbe sot nan syel la, tè a ap vin di kou wòch.
20 N’a kraze kouraj nou travay di, men sa p’ap sèvi nou anyen: tè jaden nou yo p’ap bay anyen ankò, pyebwa yo p’ap donnen menm.
21 Si, apre sa, nou vle kenbe tèt ak mwen toujou, si nou derefize koute m’, mwen menm tou m’ap peni nou sèt fwa pi rèd toujou pase anvan poutèt peche nou yo.
22 M’a lage bèt nan bwa dèyè nou, y’a touye pitit nou yo, y’a fini ak tout zannimo nou yo. Anpil nan nou va mouri tou. p’ap gen pesonn ap mache sou chemen nan peyi a.
23 Si apre tout malè sa yo nou pa korije toujou, n’ap kenbe tèt avè m’ toujou,
24 mwen menm tou m’a kenbe tèt avèk nou. M’ap frape nou sèt fwa pi rèd ankò pase anvan poutèt peche nou yo.
25 M’ap fè lènmi nou yo vin fè nou lagè poutèt kontra m’ nou pa kenbe a. Lè sa a, n’a anpile kò nou nan lavil yo pou chache pwoteksyon, m’a voye tout kalite move maladi sou nou, jouk n’a blije rann tèt nou bay lènmi nou yo.
26 M’ap koupe viv nou. Yon sèl fou ap kont pou dis fanm pare pen pou tout fanmi yo. Y’a kontwole sa y’ap bay chak moun. Lè n’a fin manje, se atò n’a grangou.
27 Epi, si apre tou sa toujou, nou pa koute m’, n’ap kenbe tèt avè m’ toujou,
28 lè sa a m’a kenbe tèt ak nou tou, m’a pran chenn sou nou. Se mwen menm toujou k’ap peni nou sèt fwa pi rèd pase anvan poutèt peche nou yo.
29 N’a sitèlman grangou n’a touye pwòp pitit gason ak pwòp pitit fi nou yo, n’a manje vyann yo.
30 M’a detwi tout kay nou bati sou tèt mòn pou fè sèvis, m’a kraze lotèl lansan nou yo mete atè, m’a anpile kadav nou yo atè sou moso estati vye zidòl nou yo. N’a ban m’ degoutans.
31 M’a fè lavil nou yo tounen mazi. M’ap detwi tout kote nou fè sèvis yo. M’ap derefize pran bon sant ofrann nou yo.
32 Se mwen menm ankò ki pral devaste peyi nou an. Ata lènmi nou yo ki pral pran peyi a pou yo rete pral sezi wè sa m’ap fè.
33 M’ap mennen lènmi nou yo vin fè nou lagè. M’ap leve moun dèyè nou pou vin fè nou lagè. M’ap gaye nou nan mitan lòt peyi etranje yo. Peyi a va tounen yon dezè. Lavil nou p’ap gen pesonn rete ladan yo.
34 Lè sa a, tè a va pran repo. Wi, lè lènmi nou yo va depòte nou byen lwen nan peyi pa yo, tè a va rete san travay, l’a pran repo.
35 Pandan tout tan tè a va rete san travay la, l’a jwi tout lanne repo nou pa t’ ba li yo lè nou te rete sou li a.
36 Kanta pou rès moun ki pa mouri yo, lè y’a rive nan peyi kote yo depòte yo a, m’ap fè yo viv tout tan ak yon kè sote san rete. Konsa, bri yon fèy bwa chèch van ap pote ap kont pou fè yo kouri. Y’ap kouri tankou moun ki gen lagè dèyè yo, y’ap tonbe san pa gen moun k’ap kouri dèyè yo.
37 Y’ap tonbe yonn sou lòt tankou nan lagè san pa gen pesonn k’ap kouri dèyè yo. Yo p’ap fouti kanpe pou yo goumen ak lènmi yo.
38 N’a mouri nan peyi kote yo te depòte nou yo. Y’a antere nou nan peyi moun ki pa vle wè nou yo.
39 Moun ki rete nan sa yo te depòte yo va depafini nan peyi lènmi nou yo, paske y’a peye pou peche zansèt yo ak pou pwòp peche pa yo.
40 Men, lè sa a pitit pitit nou yo va rekonèt peche yo ak peche zansèt yo, peche yo te fè paske yo te refize fè sa m’ te di yo fè, peche yo te fè paske yo te kenbe tèt avè m’.
41 Se poutèt sa mwen menm tou, mwen te kenbe tèt ak yo, mwen te mennen yo prizonye nan peyi lènmi yo. Lè sa a, moun ki te gen lògèy plen kè yo va soumèt devan m’, y’a peye pou sa yo te fè a.
42 Mwen menm m’a chonje kontra mwen te pase avèk Jakòb, avèk Izarak epi avèk Abraram. Wi, m’a chonje pwomès mwen te fè yo ak peyi mwen te di m’ap ba yo a.
43 Men, yo gen pou yo pati byen lwen, pou yo kite peyi a san moun pou tè a ka pran repo li. Wi, y’a peye pou sa yo te fè a, paske yo pa t’ swiv prensip mwen te ba yo, paske yo te voye kòmandman m’ yo jete.
44 Men, menm lè sa a, antan yo la toujou nan peyi lènmi yo, mwen p’ap meprize yo, mwen p’ap lage yo jouk pou m’ ta fini ak yo nèt. Mwen p’ap kase kontra m’ pase ak yo a. Paske se mwen menm ki Seyè a, Bondye yo a.
45 Men, m’a fè pa yo, m’a chonje kontra mwen te pase avèk zansèt yo lè mwen te fè yo soti kite peyi Lejip devan je moun lòt nasyon yo pou m’ te ka Bondye yo. Se mwen menm ki Seyè a!
46 Men tout prensip, tout lòd ak tout kòmandman Seyè a te bay Moyiz lòd mete nan kontra li te siyen ak moun pèp Izrayèl yo sou mòn Sinayi a.

Levitique 26
1 Vous ne vous ferez point d’idoles, vous ne vous élèverez ni image taillée ni statue, et vous ne placerez dans votre pays aucune pierre ornée de figures, pour vous prosterner devant elle; car je suis l’Éternel, votre Dieu.
2 Vous observerez mes sabbats, et vous révérerez mon sanctuaire. Je suis l’Éternel.
3 Si vous suivez mes lois, si vous gardez mes commandements et les mettez en pratique,
4 je vous enverrai des pluies en leur saison, la terre donnera ses produits, et les arbres des champs donneront leurs fruits.
5 A peine aurez-vous battu le blé que vous toucherez à la vendange, et la vendange atteindra les semailles; vous mangerez votre pain à satiété, et vous habiterez en sécurité dans votre pays.
6 Je mettrai la paix dans le pays, et personne ne troublera votre sommeil; je ferai disparaître du pays les bêtes féroces, et l’épée ne passera point par votre pays.
7 Vous poursuivrez vos ennemis, et ils tomberont devant vous par l’épée.
8 Cinq d’entre vous en poursuivront cent, et cent d’entre vous en poursuivront dix mille, et vos ennemis tomberont devant vous par l’épée.
9 Je me tournerai vers vous, je vous rendrai féconds et je vous multiplierai, et je maintiendrai mon alliance avec vous.
10 Vous mangerez des anciennes récoltes, et vous sortirez les vieilles pour faire place aux nouvelles.
11 J’établirai ma demeure au milieu de vous, et mon âme ne vous aura point en horreur.
12 Je marcherai au milieu de vous, je serai votre Dieu, et vous serez mon peuple.
13 Je suis l’Éternel, votre Dieu, qui vous ai fait sortir du pays d’Égypte, qui vous ai tirés de la servitude; j’ai brisé les liens de votre joug, et je vous ai fait marcher la tête levée.
14 Mais si vous ne m’écoutez point et ne mettez point en pratique tous ces commandements,
15 si vous méprisez mes lois, et si votre âme a en horreur mes ordonnances, en sorte que vous ne pratiquiez point tous mes commandements et que vous rompiez mon alliance,
16 voici alors ce que je vous ferai. J’enverrai sur vous la terreur, la consomption et la fièvre, qui rendront vos yeux languissants et votre âme souffrante; et vous sèmerez en vain vos semences: vos ennemis les dévoreront.
17 Je tournerai ma face contre vous, et vous serez battus devant vos ennemis; ceux qui vous haïssent domineront sur vous, et vous fuirez sans que l’on vous poursuive.
18 Si, malgré cela, vous ne m’écoutez point, je vous châtierai sept fois plus pour vos péchés.
19 Je briserai l’orgueil de votre force, je rendrai votre ciel comme du fer, et votre terre comme de l’airain.
20 Votre force s’épuisera inutilement, votre terre ne donnera pas ses produits, et les arbres de la terre ne donneront pas leurs fruits.
21 Si vous me résistez et ne voulez point m’écouter, je vous frapperai sept fois plus selon vos péchés.
22 J’enverrai contre vous les animaux des champs, qui vous priveront de vos enfants, qui détruiront votre bétail, et qui vous réduiront à un petit nombre; et vos chemins seront déserts.
23 Si ces châtiments ne vous corrigent point et si vous me résistez,
24 je vous résisterai aussi et je vous frapperai sept fois plus pour vos péchés.
25 Je ferai venir contre vous l’épée, qui vengera mon alliance; quand vous vous rassemblerez dans vos villes, j’enverrai la peste au milieu de vous, et vous serez livrés aux mains de l’ennemi.
26 Lorsque je vous briserai le bâton du pain, dix femmes cuiront votre pain dans un seul four et rapporteront votre pain au poids; vous mangerez, et vous ne serez point rassasiés.
27 Si, malgré cela, vous ne m’écoutez point et si vous me résistez,
28 je vous résisterai aussi avec fureur et je vous châtierai sept fois plus pour vos péchés.
29 Vous mangerez la chair de vos fils, et vous mangerez la chair de vos filles.
30 Je détruirai vos hauts lieux, j’abattrai vos statues consacrées au soleil, je mettrai vos cadavres sur les cadavres de vos idoles, et mon âme vous aura en horreur.
31 Je réduirai vos villes en déserts, je ravagerai vos sanctuaires, et je ne respirerai plus l’odeur agréable de vos parfums.
32 Je dévasterai le pays, et vos ennemis qui l’habiteront en seront stupéfaits.
33 Je vous disperserai parmi les nations et je tirerai l’épée après vous. Votre pays sera dévasté, et vos villes seront désertes.
34 Alors le pays jouira de ses sabbats, tout le temps qu’il sera dévasté et que vous serez dans le pays de vos ennemis; alors le pays se reposera, et jouira de ses sabbats.
35 Tout le temps qu’il sera dévasté, il aura le repos qu’il n’avait pas eu dans vos sabbats, tandis que vous l’habitiez.
36 Je rendrai pusillanime le coeur de ceux d’entre vous qui survivront, dans les pays de leurs ennemis; le bruit d’une feuille agitée les poursuivra; ils fuiront comme on fuit devant l’épée, et ils tomberont sans qu’on les poursuive.
37 Ils se renverseront les uns sur les autres comme devant l’épée, sans qu’on les poursuive. Vous ne subsisterez point en présence de vos ennemis;
38 vous périrez parmi les nations, et le pays de vos ennemis vous dévorera.
39 Ceux d’entre vous qui survivront seront frappés de langueur pour leurs iniquités, dans les pays de leurs ennemis; ils seront aussi frappés de langueur pour les iniquités de leurs pères.
40 Ils confesseront leurs iniquités et les iniquités de leurs pères, les transgressions qu’ils ont commises envers moi, et la résistance qu’ils m’ont opposée,
41 péchés à cause desquels moi aussi je leur résisterai et les mènerai dans le pays de leurs ennemis. Et alors leur coeur incirconcis s’humiliera, et ils paieront la dette de leurs iniquités.
42 Je me souviendrai de mon alliance avec Jacob, je me souviendrai de mon alliance avec Isaac et de mon alliance avec Abraham, et je me souviendrai du pays.
43 Le pays sera abandonné par eux, et il jouira de ses sabbats pendant qu’il restera dévasté loin d’eux; et ils paieront la dette de leurs iniquités, parce qu’ils ont méprisé mes ordonnances et que leur âme a eu mes lois en horreur.
44 Mais, lorsqu’ils seront dans le pays de leurs ennemis, je ne les rejetterai pourtant point, et je ne les aurai point en horreur jusqu’à les exterminer, jusqu’à rompre mon alliance avec eux; car je suis l’Éternel, leur Dieu.
45 Je me souviendrai en leur faveur de l’ancienne alliance, par laquelle je les ai fait sortir du pays d’Égypte, aux yeux des nations, pour être leur Dieu. Je suis l’Éternel.
46 Tels sont les statuts, les ordonnances et les lois, que l’Éternel établit entre lui et les enfants d’Israël, sur la montagne de Sinaï, par Moïse.

1 Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God.
2 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.
3 If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;
4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
5 And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
6 And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
7 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
10 And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.
11 And I set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.
12 And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.
13 I am the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.
14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;
15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:
16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.
18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:
20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.
21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.
23 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;
24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
25 And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
26 And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.
27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.
30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.
31 And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.
32 And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it.
33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.
34 Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies’ land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.
35 As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.
36 And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.
37 And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.
38 And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.
39 And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies’ lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.
40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;
41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.
43 The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the Lord their God.
45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the Lord.
46 These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the Lord made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
