Ezekyel 24
1 Nan dizyèm jou dizyèm mwa nevyèm lanne depi yo te depòte pèp Izrayèl la, Seyè a pale avè m’, li di m’ konsa:
2 -Nonm o! Ekri dat jòdi a, paske se jòdi a wa peyi Babilòn lan pral sènen lavil Jerizalèm.
3 Ou pral bay yon pawoli sou move ras moun sa yo ki gen tèt di. W’a di yo: Men mesaj Seyè sèl Mèt la voye ba yo: Mete yon chodyè sou dife, plen l’ dlo.
4 Mete vyann ladan l’, pi bon moso vyann ou konnen: jigo ak zepòl. Mete bon moso zo ladan l’ tou.
5 W’a pran yo nan mouton ki pi gra yo. Mete bon bwa anba chodyè a. Kite dlo a bouyi byen bouyi jouk vyann lan ak zo yo byen kwit.
6 Men sa Seyè sèl Mèt la di apre sa: -Madichon pou lavil ki renmen fè san koule a! Li tankou yon chodyè wouye yo pa janm foubi. Wete tout moso vyann yo yonn apre lòt. Pa chwazi pou kite anyen ladan l’.
7 Li fè anpil san koule nan mitan li. Men, san an pa koule atè pou pousyè te kouvri l’. San an koule sou wòch.
8 Mwen kite san an la sou wòch yo, kote yo pa ka kouvri l’, pou l’ ka mande revanj paske sa fè m’ fache anpil.
9 Men sa Seyè sèl Mèt la di: -Madichon pou lavil ki renmen fè san koule a. Se mwen menm ki pral fè yon gwo pil bwa.
10 Pote bwa an kantite toujou! Limen dife a! Kwit vyann yo byen kwit! Mete zepis ladan l’! Boule zo yo!
11 Mete chodyè fè a tou vid sou chabon dife yo. Kite l’ vin tou wouj. Konsa lawouj la va tonbe, l’a dekale. Chodyè a va vin pwòp ankò pou l’ ka sèvi.
12 Ala traka pou wete lawouj la! Atousa, lawouj la p’ap fin soti nèt nan dife a.
13 Jerizalèm, lawouj la se vye malpwòpte ou t’ap fè nan libètinaj ou yo. Mwen te soti pou m’ te mete ou nan bon kondisyon, men ou pa rive fin nan bon kondisyon an nèt. Se poutèt sa, ou p’ap janm nan bon kondisyon ankò toutotan mwen pa fè ou santi tou sa mwen ka fè ou nan kòlè mwen.
14 Se mwen menm, Seyè a, ki pale. Lè a rive pou m’ fè sa m’ te di m’ap fè a. Mwen p’ap chanje lide. M’ap san pitye, mwen p’ap pran priyè. Yo pral pini ou pou sa ou te fè, pou jan ou te mennen bak ou. Se Seyè sèl Mèt la ki di sa.
15 Seyè a pale avè m’, li di m’ konsa:
16 -Nonm o! Mwen pral rete konsa, mwen pral pran moun ou renmen tankou de grenn je nan tèt ou a. Men, pa plenyen, pa rele, pa kite dlo sot nan je ou!
17 Plenn sò ou. Men, pa kite moun tande ou! Pa fè anyen ki pou moutre ou nan lapenn tankou yon moun ki gen lanmò. Mare bèl foula ou nan tèt ou. Mete sapat nan pye ou. Pa kouvri figi ou. Pa manje manje moun voye ba ou.
18 Jou sa a nan maten, mwen t’ap pale ak pèp la. Nan aswè, madanm mwen rete konsa, li mouri. Nan denmen maten, mwen fè jan Seyè a te di m’ fè a.
19 Pèp la mande m’: -Eske ou ka di nou poukisa ou fè sa w’ap fè la a?
20 Mwen reponn yo: -Seyè a te pale avè m’, li te di m’,
21 pou m’ di moun pèp Izrayèl yo men mesaj Seyè sèl Mèt la voye pou yo: Nou kontan gwo kay solid nou mete apa pou mwen an. Nou renmen l’ tankou de grenn je nan tèt nou, nou fèb anpil pou li. Enben, mwen pral fè yo derespekte kay mwen an. Pitit gason ak pitit fi nou te kite lavil Jerizalèm yo pral mouri nan lagè.
22 Lè sa a, n’a fè jan nou wè m’ fè a. Nou p’ap kouvri figi nou, nou p’ap manje pen nan men moun.
23 N’ap toujou mare bèl foula nan tèt nou. N’ap toujou mete sapat nan pye nou, nou p’ap rele, nou p’ap kriye jan moun yo fè lè yo gen lanmò. Men, nou pral deperi akòz mechanste nou yo. Nou pral plenn sò nou yonn bay lòt.
24 Ezekyèl menm pral yon siy pou nou. N’a fè menm jan li te fè a. Lè bagay sa a va rive, n’a konnen se mwen menm ki Seyè sèl Mèt la.
25 Seyè a di m’ konsa: -Nonm o! M’ap wete nan men yo kay byen solid ki te tout pwoteksyon yo a, bèl kay ki te fè kè yo kontan an, kay yo te renmen tankou de grenn je nan tèt yo a, kay yo te fèb anpil pou li a. M’ap wete l’ ansanm ak pitit gason ak pitit fi yo.
26 Jou sa a, yon moun va chape kò l’, l’a kouri vin pote nouvèl la ba ou.
27 Menm jou sa a, w’a ka louvri bouch ou pale ak moun ki chape a. Wi, w’a ka pale, ou p’ap bèbè ankò. Se konsa ou va yon siy pou pèp la. Lè sa a, y’a konnen se mwen menm ki Seyè a.

1 La neuvième année, le dixième jour du dixième mois, la parole de l’Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:
2 Fils de l’homme, mets par écrit la date de ce jour, de ce jour-ci! Le roi de Babylone s’approche de Jérusalem en ce jour même.
3 Propose une parabole à la famille de rebelles, et dis-leur: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel: Place, place la chaudière, et verses-y de l’eau.
4 Mets-y les morceaux, tous les bons morceaux, la cuisse, l’épaule; remplis-la des meilleurs os.
5 Choisis dans le troupeau, et entasse du bois sous la chaudière; fais bouillir à gros bouillons, et que les os qui sont dedans cuisent aussi.
6 C’est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel: Malheur à la ville sanguinaire, chaudière pleine de rouille, et dont la rouille ne se détache pas! Tires-en les morceaux les uns après les autres, sans recourir au sort.
7 Car le sang qu’elle a versé est au milieu d’elle; elle l’a mis sur le roc nu, elle ne l’a pas répandu sur la terre pour le couvrir de poussière.
8 Afin de montrer ma fureur, afin de me venger, j’ai répandu son sang sur le roc nu, pour qu’il ne fût pas couvert.
9 C’est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel: Malheur à la ville sanguinaire! Moi aussi je veux faire un grand bûcher.
10 Entasse le bois, allume le feu, cuis bien la chair, assaisonne-la, et que les os soient brûlés.
11 Puis mets la chaudière vide sur les charbons, afin qu’elle s’échauffe, que son airain devienne brûlant, que sa souillure se fonde au dedans, et que sa rouille se consume.
12 Les efforts sont inutiles, la rouille dont elle est pleine ne se détache pas; la rouille ne s’en ira que par le feu.
13 Le crime est dans ta souillure; parce que j’ai voulu te purifier et que tu n’es pas devenue pure, tu ne seras plus purifiée de ta souillure jusqu’à ce que j’aie assouvi sur toi ma fureur.
14 Moi, l’Éternel, j’ai parlé; cela arrivera, et je l’exécuterai; je ne reculerai pas, et je n’aurai ni pitié ni repentir. On te jugera selon ta conduite et selon tes actions, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel.
15 La parole de l’Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:
16 Fils de l’homme, voici, je t’enlève par une mort soudaine ce qui fait les délices de tes yeux. Tu ne te lamenteras point, tu ne pleureras point, et tes larmes ne couleront pas.
17 Soupire en silence, ne prends pas le deuil des morts, attache ton turban, mets ta chaussure à tes pieds, ne te couvre pas la barbe, et ne mange pas le pain des autres.
18 J’avais parlé au peuple le matin, et ma femme mourut le soir. Le lendemain matin, je fis ce qui m’avait été ordonné.
19 Le peuple me dit: Ne nous expliqueras-tu pas ce que signifie pour nous ce que tu fais?
20 Je leur répondis: La parole de l’Éternel m’a été adressée, en ces mots:
21 Dis à la maison d’Israël: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel: Voici, je vais profaner mon sanctuaire, l’orgueil de votre force, les délices de vos yeux, l’objet de votre amour; et vos fils et vos filles que vous avez laissés tomberont par l’épée.
22 Vous ferez alors comme j’ai fait. Vous ne vous couvrirez pas la barbe, vous ne mangerez pas le pain des autres,
23 vous aurez vos turbans sur la tête et vos chaussures aux pieds, vous ne vous lamenterez pas et vous ne pleurerez pas; mais vous serez frappés de langueur pour vos iniquités, et vous gémirez entre vous. Ézéchiel sera pour vous un signe.
24 Vous ferez entièrement comme il a fait. Et quand ces choses arriveront, vous saurez que je suis le Seigneur, l’Éternel.
25 Et toi, fils de l’homme, le jour où je leur enlèverai ce qui fait leur force, leur joie et leur gloire, les délices de leurs yeux et l’objet de leur amour, leurs fils et leurs filles,
26 ce jour-là un fuyard viendra vers toi pour l’annoncer à tes oreilles.
27 En ce jour, ta bouche s’ouvrira avec le fuyard, et tu parleras, tu ne seras plus muet; tu seras pour eux un signe, et ils sauront que je suis l’Éternel.

Ezekiel 24
1 Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, write thee the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day.
3 And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it:
4 Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.
5 Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, and make it boil well, and let them seethe the bones of it therein.
6 Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.
7 For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust;
8 That it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered.
9 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.
10 Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.
11 Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the scum of it may be consumed.
12 She hath wearied herself with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum shall be in the fire.
13 In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee.
14 I the Lord have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord God.
15 Also the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
16 Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down.
17 Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not thy lips, and eat not the bread of men.
18 So I spake unto the people in the morning: and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.
19 And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, that thou doest so?
20 Then I answered them, The word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
21 Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.
22 And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.
23 And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.
24 Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord God.
25 Also, thou son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,
26 That he that escapeth in that day shall come unto thee, to cause thee to hear it with thine ears?
27 In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
